Optical Properties of SnS2 Single Crystals

  • The $SnS_2,\;SnS_2:Cd$, and $SnS_2:Sb$ single crystals were grown by the chemical transport reaction method. The indirect optical energy band gap was found to be 2.348, 2.345, and 2.343 eV for the $SnS_2,\;SnS_2:Cd$, and $SnS_2:Sb$ single crystals, at 6 K respectively. The direct optical energy band gap was found to be 2.511, 2.505, and 2.503 eV f3r the $SnS_2,\;SnS_2:Cd$, and $SnS_2:Sb$ single crystals, at 6 K respectively The temperature dependence of the optical energy band gap was well fitted by the Varshni equation. Two photoluminescence emission peaks with the peak energy of 2.214 and 1.792 eV for $SnS_2$, 2.214 and 1.837 eV for $SnS_2:Cd$, and 2.214 and 1.818 eV the $SnS_2:Sb$ were observed. The emission peaks were described as originating from the donor-acceptor pair recombinations.

  • In this dissertation the results of the combined experimental and theoretical studies designed to understand and predict the spatial growth and transport coefficients for electrons in SF$_{6}$ and SF$_{6}$-Ar mixtures have described. The ionization and attachment coefficients in pure SF$_{6}$ and SF$_{6}$-Ar mixtures have been calculated over the range of 10$_{6}$ molecule and for Ar atom proposed by other authors. The transport coefficients for electrons in (0.2%)SF$_{6}$-Ar and (0.5%)SF$_{6}$-Ar mixtures were measured by time-of-flight method, and the electron energy distribution function and the parameters of the velocity and the diffusion were determined by the variation of the collision cross-sections with energy. The results obtained in this work will provide valuable information on the fundamental haviors of electrons in weakly ionized gases and the role of electron attachment in the choice of better gases and unitary gas dielectrics or electro negative components in dielectric gas mixtures. gas mixtures.

  • 본 연구에서는 난류구조에 대한 유선곡률의 영향을 명확히 반영하는 적절한 곡률수정 2-방정식모델을 개발하고자 한다. 이 연구에서 제안된 모델의 타당성은 다 음의 2차원 재순환유동에 대한 실험결과와 계산결과의 비교를 통해서 입증될 것이다. (1) Moss와 Bake에 의하여 맥동열선 풍속계로 측정된 두꺼운 수직벽주위의 유동` (2) 레이저 도플러 속도계로 Fraser와 Siddig에 의해 측정된 얇은 수직벽유동` (3)맥동열 선 풍속계로 Eaton이 실험한 후면벽유동` (4)맥동열선 풍속계로 Moss와 Baker가 측정 한 전면벽유동. 새로운 곡률수정 2-방정식모델은 2장에서 설명되고 있으며, 3장에서 는 경계조건과 수치계산 과정이 간단이 기술되어 있다. 그 뒤에 4장에는 계산결과와 실험치에대한 비교검토가 설명되어 있고 마지막으로 5장에서는 본 연구에 대한 결론을 맺고 있다.

시간의존 완경사방정식의 이론적 비교 (Analytical Comparison of Time-Dependent Mild-Slope Equations)

  • 현존하는 시간의존 완경사방정식으로 Smith와 Sprinks(1975)가 개발한 식(이와 대등한 정확도로 Radder와 Dingemans(1985)가 개발한 식)과 Kubo 등 (1992)이 개발한 식이 있다. 분산관계식과 에너지 전송의 관점에서 시간의존 완경사방정식을 분석하였다. 수평방향으로 1차원적으로 시간의존 완경사방정식의 진폭변조현상을 선형 Scrodinger식과 대비하여 비교하였다. 분산관계식과의 관점에서 보면, Smith와 Sprinks의 모형이 보다 얕은 수심(kh$\leq$0.2$\pi$)에서 더 정확하고 아주 얕은 수심(kh=0)에서는 선형 Scrodinger식을 만족시키는 반면 Kubo 등의 모형은 보다 깊은 수심(kh>0.2$\pi$)에서 더 정확하고 천이영역의 한 지점(kh=0.3$\pi$)에서 선형 Scrodinger식을 만족시킨다. 에너지 전송의 관점에서 보면 Kubo 등의 모형이 더 정확하지만 높은 주파수 영역에서 해가 발산하는 단점이 있다.

  • Dibenzo-18-crown-6(DBC) 및 dicyclohexyl-18-crown-6(DCC)를 이온의 운반체로 하는 여러 유기액체막을 통해 수소이온의 운반속도를 25$^{\circ}$C에서 측정하였다. 운반속도는 용매의 유전상수에 크게 영향을 받는데 이를 액체막 내부에서 이온 화학종이 가진 Born의 포텐셜 에너지 장벽을 들어 고찰하였다. 또한 음이온의 크기도 운반속도에 영향을 주었는데 이는 Born식으로 부터 새로이 유도된 이론적인 결과와 잘 일치하였다.

  • In this paper energy distribution function in $SiH_4$ has been analysed over the E/N range 0.5${\sim}$300Td and Pressure value 0.5, 1.0, 2.5 Torr by a two-term approximation Boltzmann equation method and by a Monte Carlo simulation. The motion has been calculated to give swarm parameters for the electron drift velocity, diffusion coefficient, electron ionization, mean energy and the electron energy distribution function. The electron energy distribution function has been analysed in $SiH_4$ at E/N=30, 50Td for a case of the equilibrium region in the mean electron energy and respective set of electron collision cross sections. The results show that the deduced electron drift velocities, the electron ionization or attachment coefficients, longitudinal and transverse diffusion coefficients and mean energy agree reasonably well with theoretical for a rang of E/N values.

  • Mean energy of electrons in $SF_6-Ar$ Mixtures Gas used by MCS-BEq algorithm has been analysed over the E/N range $30{\sim}300[Td]$ by a two term Boltzmann equation and by a Monte Carlo Simulation using a set of electron cross sections determined by other authors, experimentally the electron swarm parameters for 0.2[%] and 0.5[%] $SF_6-Ar$, 0.1[%] and 5.0[%], $SF_6-Ar$ mixtures were measured by time-of-flight(TOF) method. The transport Coefficients for electrons in (100[%])$SF_6$. (100[%])Ar, (0.2[%])$SF_6-Ar$ and (0.5[%]) $SF_6-Ar$, (5.0[%]) $SF_6-Ar$, (0.1[%])$SF_6-Ar$ mixtures were measured by time-of-flight method, and the electron energy distribution function and the parameters of the velocity and the diffusion were determined by the variation of the collision cross-sections with energy. The results obtained from Boltzmann equation method and Monte Carlo simulation have been compared with present and previously obtained data and respective set of electron collision cross sections of the molecules.

유한요소법에 의한 GaAs MESFET소자의 해석 (The Analysis of GaAs NESFET Device by Finite Element Method)

  • In this work, two-dimensional finite element method code is developed to characterize GaAs MESFET devices. Here, two coupled equations, i.e., Poisson equation and current continuity equation, are solved iteratively by Gummel's scheme. The energy transport equation is incorporated with these to include the temperature information. By this method, the GaAs MESFET device is analyzed by calculating the potential and electron concentration distribution. from these the I-V characteristics and other device parametersare obtained and discussed. It is comfirmed that this method can be effectively used in the device level simulation and characterization and can be extended to the small and large signal analysis of the device.

평형해빈단면 개념을 이용하여 파랑 에너지 유입에 따른 해안선 변동 해석 (Analysis of Shoreline Response due to Wave Energy Incidence Using Equilibrium Beach Profile Concept)

  • Dean's equilibrium beach profile formula was used to investigate the correlation between the static shoreline position and the incident wave energy. The effect of the longshore sediment transport was neglected, and the results showed the reasonable agreement compared with the field observations of Yates et al.(2009), which were conducted for almost 5 years on southern California beaches, USA. The shoreline response varies with the scale factor of Dean's equilibrium beach profile. This implies that the shoreline response could be simply estimated using the sampled grain size without laborious long-term field work. Therefore, the present study results are expected to be practically used for the layout design of submerged or exposed detached breakwaters although the further work is required for performance verification. In addition, after laborous mathematical reviews, the linear relation between incident energy and shoreline response, which was obtained from Yates's field study, yielded a clear mathematical equation showing how the beach slope is related to the grain size.

$SF_{6+}Ar$혼합기체의 전자수송특성 개선에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Improvement of the Electron Transport Properties in $SF_{6+}Ar$ Mixtures Gas)

  • In this paper, the electron swarm parameters in the 0.5% and 0.2% SF\ulcorner+Ar mixtures are measured by time of flight method over the E/N(Td) range from 30 to 300(Td). The measurements have been carried out by the double shutter drift tube with variable drift distance from the cathod. A two-term approximation of the boltzmann equation analysis and Monte Carlo simulation have been also used to study electron transport coefficients. We have calculated W, $ND_L,\;ND_T,\;\alpha,\;\eta,\;\alpha-\eta$, and the limiting breakdown electric field to gas mixtures ratio in pure $SF_6$+Ar mixtures. The electron energy distribution function has been analysed in $SF_6$+Ar mixtures at E/N : 200(Td) for a case of the equilibrium region in the mean electron energy. The measured results and the calculated results have been compared each other.
