  • TTX(Tilting Train Express), which has improved traveling performance on curved track, is being designed in cope with future railway circumstance. Nowadays, in the world, many efforts are focussed on railway safety. Especially, a variety of researches on train crashworthiness have been conducted. As a part of these efforts, some equipments on TTX are designed to reduce fatalities and casualties in crash accidents. This paper introduces impact energy absorbtion characteristics on the initial design of the front end structure. Some comments are made briefly for improvement of initial structural design and future following researches.

  • 주각부는 상부의 강구조와 철근콘크리트조 기초의 접합부로써 매우 중요한 부분이다. 현재 국내외 강구조 골조 공사에서 사용되는 주각부의 형식은 크게 구분하여 노출형 주각부 근권형 주각부, 매입형 주각부라고 할 수 있다. 이 중에서 부재의 재사용 및 재활용을 최우선으로 고려한다면 노출형 주각부가 가장 유리하다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 노출형 주각부의 시공 성능 및 역학적 성능을 획기적으로 개선할 수 있는 형태의 강구조 선형상 노출형 주각부를 개발하고, 구조 성능 평가를 위한 탄소성 재하실험을 수행하였다. 그 결과 개발된 신형상 노출형 주각부는 수평 방향과 수직 방향의 시공 오차를 현장에서 간단히 흡수하여 기존 노출형 주각부의 시공 불량을 사전에 방지함으로써 구조 성능을 발휘한다. 또한 에너지 흡수형 고력볼트를 사용함으로써 변형 성능이 증가함을 알 수 있었다.

  • The Rehabilitation and repair of structurally deteriorated reinforced concrete structure become more necessary as time goes by. The goal of this study is that provide the data about flexural retrofitted effect of RC beam strengthened by Steel Plate. In order to provide the data, 6 specimens were manufactured and divided with standard specimen and damaged degree A, B, C. Division of damaged A, B, C is based on deflection and degree of crack. In the determination of deflection and degree of crack, we loaded standard specimen to failure under two-point bending to find yielding load and failure load, and then we found deflections and degree of crack that correspond to 75%, 100%, 105% of the yielding load of standard specimen respectively. When we are compared with standard specimen and strengthened specimens, we founded from the experimental results that flexural capacity of structurally damaged beam strengthened by Steel Plate incremented highly, ductility was decreased, and energy absorbtion capacity was almost same.

  • 최근에 구조적인 손상을 입은 철근콘크리트 구조물은 내구성과 내력 향상을 위해 보수 보강이 필요하게 되었다. 본 연구에서는 철근콘크리트 보가 휨에 의해서 손상되었을 경우 손상이전의 상태로 내력복원을 할 수 있는지를 규명하고자 한다. 실험결과 기준실험체와 강판 탄소섬유시트 격자탄소섬유판으로 보강한 실험체를 비교할 때, 휨내력은 상승하였고, 연성도와 에너지흡수능력도 기준실험체에 비해 큰 차이를 보이지 않아 보강재인 강판 탄소섬유시트 격자탄소섬유판(복합재)은 R.C보의 휨보강재로 매우 우수한 성능을 보유하고 있다고 판단된다.

  • Crashworthy design of trains is now indispensable procedure in modern railway vehicle design for ensuring the safety of Passengers and crew. It is now widely recognized that a more strategic approach is needed in order to absorb higher level energy in a controlled manner and minimize passenger injuries effectively. The first design step in this strategic approach is the design of the front end structure(so called HE extremities) to absorb a large part of total impact energy and then the structure of passengers non-accommodation zones(so called LE extremities) is designed to absorb the rest of impact energy. In this paper, the passengers entrance door area is selected as the LE(low energy) extremities and the design of the LEE was carried out. The main part of LEE design procedures is the design of energy absorbing tubes. For this purpose, the several tube candidates are introduced and compared to each others with numerical crash simulation.

  • In this paper, a comparison analysis is executed about costs and merits & demerits of medium and large air-conditioning systems which are gas absorbtion chillers and thermal energy storages. These results will be applied to B/C analysis to propose advanced load management subsidy policies in the electrical and gas field.

하수열원 열펌프 시스템의 성능 시뮬레이션 (A Characteristics Simulation of Heat Pump System for Sewage Water as a Heat Source)

  • In this study, characteristics simulation of heat pump system is investigated for heating and cooling using sewage water as a heat source. A simulation program for preestimate operation characteristics of heat pump system is developed. The performance of this system is resolved by several variables and the characteristics which is based on actual air and sewage temperature data. The simulation results agree well with the experimental values of COP. In the analysis of system characteristics, the COP is changed between $3\sim5$ in winter season for heating load, $4\sim6$ in summer season for cooling load. As the results of Life Cycle Cost analysis over a 15 year life cycle, the energy cost could be reduced by 250 million won if a heat pump system was used instead of a conventional boiler and an absorbtion refrigerator on the office building.

  • Aluminum and aluminum alloys have high rate of lightness, recycling property and excellent specific strength. Fields using them have been widening because they ould satisfy both energy reduction and high efficiency in manufactures production. But they have many problems on welding due to high thermal conductivity and reflectivity, so the study to solve these problems ate proceeding actively around the world. This study was purposed to improve weldability and spread application range for aluminium alloys by using the unique property of aluminium which absorb high energy around $800{\mu}m$ wavelength and the higher temperature, the mote absorbtion of laser beam on preheating by multi-wavelength laser beam(pulsed Nd:YAG laser + diode laser with $808{\mu}m$ wavelength). The favorable mechanical properties were acquired by the test results of strength, hardness and leak of weld metal which had reduced its defect like crack and so on.

  • 본 연구는 로켓 모타의 추진제 점화 특성을 살펴보는 데 그 목적이 있으며 아크 이미지 고온 오븐을 사용하여 혼합형, 복기 그리고 니트라민 추진제를 대상으로 압력 변화에 따라서 점화지연시간을 측정하였다. 추진제 표면의 반사에너지를 측정하기 위해 광섬유 표면 반사계를 사용하였다. 추진제 점화성은 복기 추진제 > 혼합형 추진제 > 니트라민 추진제 순이었으며, 니트라민 추진제 점화에 가장 큰 점화 에너지가 필요했으나 압력이 $75{\sim}400$ psia 범위로 상승함에 따라 점화 지연 시간은 급격히 감소하였다. 소량의 오페시화이어를 첨가함으로써 흡수도를 증가시킬 수 있었다.

박스형 강합성 교각의 내진 성능 평가를 위한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on the Seismic Behavior of Box Type Concrete-Filled Steel Piers)

  • The steel piers and the concrete-filled steel piers, in spite of reasonable strength, high ductility, small section, and fast construction, have not been considered as the alternatives to the RC piers even in the highly populated urban area where aseismic safety, limited space and fast construction are indispensably required. In this paper, a steel pier and 4 box type concrete-filled steel piers were tested with the quasi-static cyclic loading to estimate the ductility and the strength. Additional devices such as base rib, turn-buckle, and anchor bolted added at the to increase the ductility with minimum additional cost. The result showed that the concrete filled-in steel piers had higher energy absorbtion and strength than steel piers had, but also showed that slight overlooking in the design and fabrication could lead to the abrupt fracture just after small local buckling at the bottom.
