This study attempted to grasp the current status of field training in the Department of Library and Information Science and the training institutions of the students of the Department of Library and Information Science and to propose a development plan based on this. To this end, a questionnaire survey and survey were conducted on the status of field practice in the Department of Library and Information Science at 4-year and 2-year colleges. As a result of the study, first, it was analyzed that field training has an effect on the employment competitive- ness and employment competency of students, and the field training environment has an effect on career decisions of students in the Department of Library and Information Science. Second, it was found that the library with the most field training was found to be a public library, and it was investigated that in order to allow students to experience various institutions and choose their career path, it was necessary to jointly discover and use field training institutes. Third, the evaluation contents or evaluators of the field training did not show a big difference by school, and it was found that most universities are evaluating the field practice using various scales. Lastly, in order to maintain the level of on-the-job training to some extent, it is necessary to develop a training manual and distribute it to each university.
This research reviewed on the effect of elderly employment promotion project to their self-esteem and life satisfaction and got positive verification about the effectiveness of the project. The survey was conducted on 389 elderly people in Suncheon City. Some were participants on the project and others were not. SPSS Win 10.0 program was used for data analysis, and t-test, one-way ANOVA, correlation analysis, multiple regression were conducted. The results are as follows. First, elderly people who participated in the employment project had higher self-esteem and life satisfaction compare to those who did not participated in the project. Second, the job for elderly people had the most positive effect on elderly people to increase self-esteem and life satisfaction, and age, education background, income, family, and health were followed by. Third, participation on the employment for elderly was the highest correlation variable in self-esteem and life satisfaction, and health, education background, marriage status, residence type, living expense per month, economic status, and housing had significant correlations. Fourth, variables such as participation on job, education background, economic status, and age explained 32% of self-esteem, and 48% of life satisfaction. In order to increase self-esteem and life satisfaction of elderly people, we need to realize the importance of employment for elderly people, and promote projects that let elderly people to participate in job.
The purpose of this study is to objectively quantify the degree of social exclusion of the disabled and verify the impact of the derived degree of social exclusion on the quality of life of the disabled. And the purpose is to verify whether job satisfaction moderates the impact of social exclusion and quality of life of disabled people. The subjects of the study were 1,280 people extracted through a panel survey on employment of the disabled. The independent variables of social exclusion are economic difficulties, employment status, mental health, and social activities. The dependent variable was quality of life, and the control variable was job satisfaction. The research results are as follows. First, the sub-factors of social exclusion that affect quality of life were economic difficulties, mental health, participation in social activities, and employment status. Second, job satisfaction showed a moderating effect in the relationship between social exclusion and quality of life. And the sub-factors of social exclusion that have a moderating effect on quality of life were identified as economic difficulties, employment status, and social activities. In follow-up research, it will be necessary to investigate employment programs for the disabled in developed countries and analyze the implementation background, implementation details, achievements, and limitations, thereby contributing to the establishment of employment policies for the disabled. It is hoped that through this research, the vicious cycle of social exclusion and discrimination of the disabled will be improved and an opportunity will be provided to improve the quality of life through the economic activities of the disabled.
This research is based on the survey of welfare beneficiaries, aiming to set up the gender-equal welfare policies. Through the survey, this research examines status of women in the family and society and also examines, the degree of perception of women's welfare policies, needs, and satisfaction. According to the survey results, the current welfare policies that are limited to needy women should expand its range, enforcing the infra structure. That employment policy for women turned out to be very important in welfare policies. Demand for more enlarged welfare policies is quite high, especially in housing, employment and elderly care. On the contrary, the degree of satisfaction degree appears quite low because of unrealistic welfare program and benefits. In order to improve the welfare policies, more active and realistic employment policies should be emphasized with the proper support for family life. To raise the status of women, proper policies for women's economic independence should be set up. In addition, consciousness of gender equality should be encouraged in the whole society. Also, women's participation in politics and decision-making process is necessary.
The purpose of this study was to show the possibility of labor mobility among married women by analysing some variables to have effects on their employment status and willingness to move in the labo market, namely, whether they would willingly enter into/come out the labor market. The personal collecting data were used and one discirminant function and two probit models were employed to analyse the efficients to the independent variables. The resets of this study were as follows. The very discriminant variables to have significant effects on the employment status of married women were the age of the youngest and the number of children. The willingness to enter into the labor market of unemployed married women was high in contrast as the willingness to keep the job was high among employed married women. The subjective perception on their own health, children related variables, and financial variable were very significant to predict the possiblities to move in the labor market among married women. It was remarkable that the psychological variables, which were related with the attitudes toward the occupation of house wife and employment of married women, were also important. These results showed that first of all, the decision of whether they enter into or come out in the labor market among married women is largely on the basis of the household situation not on the personal capacities of married women themselves.

This study is to investigate the job characteristics and the job satisfaction of the administrators in small libraries. Also, it is to catch individual differences between the administrators and provide the preliminary data which is helpful to the operation of organizations and offer of information service with selection, supplement of administrators in small libraries and employment placement which is regarding individual characteristics that perceive specific job, and the job satisfaction. As a result, individual characteristics, such as marital status, gender, and age, don't affect the job characteristics, but certificates, and formation of employment influences meaningfully to the job characteristics. It convinced that the individual characteristics, such as marital status, age, and formation of employment, influence to the job satisfaction.
Employee turnover and job satisfaction are the main concerns of Foodservice indusryy because of a high dependence on human resources. This study was carried out to find out the differences of job satisfaction of employees in Foodservice industry and identify the effects of job satisfaction on turnover intention by major at the college or university. In comparison of job satisfaction of employees by 3 groups of food-related majored, tourism-business majored, and other majored, there were no significant differences among groups. But in the correlation between overall and 6 factors of job satisfaction, there were all significant correlations in food-related majored and tourism-business majored employees. Employees in Foodservice industry were satisfied by different demographic characteristics according to what they majored at college. Statistically significant variables that affect to the job satisfaction were gender, employment status, length of employment, monthly income, working hour per week in the food-related majored employees and employment status in the tourism-business majored employees. Finally, among job satisfaction factors, intention to quit was negatively affected by supervision in food-related majored and tourism-business majored employees, but positively affected by job environment only in tourism-business majored employees.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify factors associated with high risk drinking in adults. Methods: Multi-variate logistic regression was used to analyze the data of 15,949 adults age 19 years or older from the sixth (2013-2015) Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey. Results: Factors associated with high risk drinking included education level, employment and smoking status among the age group of 19-39. In the 40-59 year age group, the associated factors were gender, employment, smoking, obesity, and depressive mood. In the over 60 year age group, related factors included gender, employment, smoking, abdominal obesity, and subjective health status. Conclusion: The result of this study suggests that early risk factor screening may be helpful to avoid the progression to high-risk drinking. An individualized approach for each age group can be used as a preventive measure.

Purpose: It is necessary to establish more systematic and efficient accident prevention measures in relation to the promotion of safety activities to prevent safety accidents of foreign workers at construction sites, especially as safety accidents of foreign workers continue to occur among industrial accidents occurring at domestic construction sites. In this study, I would like to suggest ways to respond to legal issues related to the recruitment of foreign workers and ways to promote safety management that can effectively reduce industrial accidents through various safety management measures. Research design, data and methodology: In order to establish systematic safety management measures for foreign workers, in-depth research was attempted by collecting and analyzing various data such as the current status of domestic industrial accidents, employment status of foreign workers, and disaster statistics. Results: In addition, I intend to establish and present a more systematic safety management plan by conducting various analysis and feasibility review such as risk assessment education in terms of accident prevention for foreign workers. Conclusions: By establishing and presenting more systematic management measures, such as foreign employment, employment by occupation, and on-site education, this safety management system can effectively prevent accidents for foreign workers and is expected to contribute to the prevention of accidents at domestic construction sites for both construction companies and construction officials.
The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between the level of stress recognition of urban housewife and the method of coping, and to explore bow these factors are influenced by socio-demographic variables such as the age of housewife, level of education, status of employment, number of children, durations of marriage, types of family, religion and socio-economic status. The research was conducted on 431 housewives in Seoul in August, 1985. As for the measurement of the instrument, 48 item questionnaire made by investigator was used. The questionnaire was based upon modified and upplemented Holme & Rahe's SRRS and Bell's 18-item Questionnaire to be appropriate to Korean culture. Data were analyzed by percentage, frequency and mean, and verified significant difference by ANOVA and performed Spearman's correlation coefficient. The results of this study are as follows; 1) There is some similarity in distribution of the level of stress recognition of urban housewife. 2) the level of education and the durations of marriage have influence upon the level of stress recognition of urban housewife. In each area, there are differences among groups : age, level of education, durations of marriage, number of children and types of family in the area of education ; age, status of employment, and durations of marriage in the area of health; level of education, durations of marriage, number of children and socio-economic status in the area of finance; status of employment in the area of household work. 3) There are several methods in the method of coping to stress of housewife and the score of long-term coping method appears higher than that of short-term. 4) The level of education, number of children, religion and socio-economic status were variables to have influence on the method level of education, religion and socio- economic status were variables to have influence and in the long-term coping method level of education, number of children, religion, and socio-economic status were to have influence. 5) There is very low positive correlation between the level of stress recognition of urban housewife and the method of coping to stress( ρ=.10, P<.05). 6)In the relation between several variables in socio-demographic variables and the method to coping to stress, the lower the level of stress recognition there are negative correlation (ρ=-.28, P<.01) between religion and the method of coping and also negative correlation (ρ=-.16, P<.05) between number of children and the method of coping. There are positive correlation between socio-economic status and the method of coping.
