Purpose - This study evaluates the mutual influential power regarding the trade volumes of Japan and USA, based on a literature review and an empirical analysis. Through the literature review, I could evaluate each country's actual import-export volume and its status. Further, I could evaluate how each country could influence its trade outcome, through empirical analysis. Research design, data, and methodology - This study aims to review the trade structure to improve Japan-USA economic and social cooperation, as the two countries have reciprocal complementary features, and to examine trade weaknesses and analyze factors influencing trade and its direction, as well as to identify ways to expand trade. Results - The intra-economic potential cooperation fields are numerous. Additionally, anticipated profits from these fields are stable as compared to other fields in the regional economic integration. Conclusion - The interrelations between the two economic identities can provide optimal opportunities for industrial technology cooperation. Under the current aggravated competition in industrial fields, it is advisable to identify ways to secure stable resource suppliers, including the development of export markets.

Purpose - Online product review has become a crucial part of the online retailer's market performance for a wide range of products. This research aims to investigate how an individual reviewer's review frequency and timing affect her/his average attitude toward products. Research design, data, and methodology - To conduct reviewer-level analysis, this study uses 42,172 posted online review messages generated by 6,941 identified reviewers for 59 movies released in the South Korea from July 2015 to December 2015. This study adopts Tobit model specification to take into account the censored nature and the selection bias arising from the nature of J-shaped distribution of movie rating. Results - Our estimation results support that the negative impact of review frequency and timing on valence. Furthermore, review timing has an inverted-U relationship with the user's average valence and enhance the negative effect of review frequency. Conclusions - This study contributes to the growing literature on the understanding how eWOM is generated at the individual consumer level. On the basis of the main empirical findings, this study provides insights into building a recommendation system in online retail store based on the consumer's review history data - frequency, timing, and valence.

This study was conducted to investigate the adequacy of the representative empirical models which are developed for predicting the tractive performance of the tractor operating in various soil conditions. Four representative empirical models which are widely used in the traction prediction of tractor were selected through literature review. Four models were Wismer-Luth, Brixius, Dwyer and Hernandez model, which were empirical traction models of a single wheel. The efficacy of four models were confirmed via comparison of the tractions of tractor predicted using the four models with those measured from traction tests which were conducted for two different driving type (2WD and 4WD) of the tractor on two different soil conditions. The results showed that tractions predicted by Brixius' model, especially for slip range under 20% which the operating efficiency of a tractor is very high, were well consistent with the ones measured from traction test better than the tractions predicted by models which are proposed by Wismer-Luth, Dwyer and Hernandez.

Unlike other body arts, body painting illuminates the value of art using eco-friendly formative activity and natural environment and highlights the need of eco-friendly activity. However, although body painting has focused on forming right relationship between human beings and nature, there are few researches which are linked with nature art. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to argue the need to study body painting as nature art in connection with natural environment and analyze body painting according to nature art types. The study methods included both theoretical review and empirical review. The theoretical review examined the concept and characteristics of nature art through previous researches and literature and the empirical review looked into the types and works of nature art and applied them to body painting works. The results were as follows. First, an installation type was possible by arranging and attaching certain materials to the body. Second, a physical type was possible by representing body itself as the part of nature. Third, a symbolic type was possible by making body appearance as a some symbol based on artist's idea. Fourth, a sound type was possible by stimulating auditory hallucination using the nature of objects and sensing a sound. Fifth, an ecological type was possible by conveying the message of living things in nature to the body. Sixth, an interior type was possible by inducing indoor installation of works. Seventh, a poetic type was possible by making one feel a poetic inspiration expressed in nature using the mystery of the sea and a simple sequential pattern of floral leaves. Eighth, a drawing type was possible by adding artist's intentional hand with a pictorical technique. Ninth, a indigenous type was possible by reproducing South American indian's primitive style. The review of this study suggests that body painting works have been expressed in experimental and temporary arrangement like nature art in nature and can be applied according to nine types of nature art.

Interests on collaborative research and academic relationship among researchers have been increased. Collaborative researchers can maximize productivity, time and cost savings, and reduce the risk of research. An empirical study on the research productivity of co-authors' network and review efficiency of the reviewer network was conducted based on co-author networks and reviewer networks in Korea Society of IT Service. This study aims to find the characteristics of the co-author and reviewer networks, and to analyze research productivity and review efficiency in order to draw some implications. The meaning of interactions among professional groups was analyzed. Research productivity index was calculated using 728 authors' papers submitted to the society. In order to verify the effects of indicators of social network analysis on research productivity and review efficiency, correlation and regression analyses were used. As a result, the indicators of network centrality did not affect the review efficiency, but affect the research productivity.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the latest evidence for interventions involving adolescent newlyweds, and the feasibility of premarital coaching (PMC). Methods: A narrative literature review design carried out through related studies was used for the present literature review. A diverse search from several databases was performed to create a critical appraisal and to develop a more integrated model for the PMC program. Studies that empirical, written in English, peer-reviewed, and published during 2008~2017 were included. Results: Six articles were selected for the review. The principal findings identified three major themes including underage period as a high-risk for marriage, development tasks of the newly married spouse, parenting self-efficacy and the psycho-educational approach of PMC to enhance parenting knowledge, skills, and readiness. Conclusion: It was found that content of PMC as the preparation of underage married couples were formulated based on coaching technic, various spouse and parenting educations, and adjusted based on couples's preferences. Rigorous studies with measurement of long-term retentions are needed.

Home economics education professional knowledge consists of empirical interpretive critical science component. Thus it is imperative that the alternative research perspectives be used to gain certain knowledge for the profession of home economics education. In human inquiry and education there is a growing concern that the dominant research paradigm positivist natural science model is inadequate to address the phenomena constructed by persons. However, Home economics education has not examined and almost utilized alternative research perspectives. This review will probe research logic and resecrach methodology of qualitative inquiry within home economics education and highlight the shift from positivism to post-positivism.

The purpose of this review is to explore the relevance of reminiscent behavior for the elderly individual's well-being. Various concept and prevalence of reminiscence and themes of reminiscence is investigated. Then the empirical evidence concerning the motive, pattern and the function of reminiscent behavior is reviewed. Psychological determinism, social contextualism, life course perspective are described. Since many transitions and changes are socially organized and differ strongly for social categories, life course perspective can contribute to analysis of both similarity and variation in elderly reminiscent behavior. After all it is concluded that there is evidence of reminiscent behavior can be a enhancing mediator for the elderly individual's well-being.

This paper reviews the literature on the performance of fin-and-tube heat exchangers under frosting and defrosting conditions. The effects of frosting and defrosting on the following parameters were discussed: frost growth, overall heat transfer coefficient, surface roughness, and surface characteristics on the heat exchanger. Comparisons of the experimental results and empirical correlations that were obtained from open literature were presented. In addition, a review of the defrosting methods was conducted.
