사용자와 감성적인 소통(Emotional Communication)이 중요한 제품 디자인 영역에서 디자이너가 사용자 감성을 보다 명확하고 신속하게 파악하는 것은 제품 디자인 연구의 매우 핵심적인 활동이다. 이에 본 연구는 제품디자인과정에 감성측정의 활용가능성을 높이기 위한 방법으로서 행위적 감성 측정 방법인 표정 부호화 시스템(Facial Action Coding System, FACS)을 제품디자인 평가에 활용하였다. 표본으로 선정한 감성 제품의 Image Map을 활용하여 긍정적, 부정적, 중성 감성을 유발하는 제품 자극물 총 6개를 선정하여 20대 일반 제품 사용자를 실험 대상으로 FACS 실험을 진행하고 사용자 얼굴 표정을 통하여 자극물에 대한 감성상태를 분석하였다. 이러한 실험을 통하여 표정 부호화 시스템이 제품디자인에 적용 과정에서 "사용자 무의식적인 얼굴 표정을 기록할 수 있다" 등 장단점을 분석하였으며 "사용자 반응도 높은 제품 자극물을 선정해야 한다" 등 적용방안을 제시하였다. 본 연구는 향후 새로운 제품을 시장에 출시하기 전에 제품디자인 시안 단계에서 사전 사용자 감성 예측 방법으로 FACS를 활용성 검토에 도움을 줄 것으로 전망된다.

This study was performed to reveal some contrasting aspects between Sasang Constitutional Medicine(四象醫學) and Traditional Oriental Medicine(傳統 韓醫學). This aims ultimately for the unified standardization of Korea-Oriental Medicine. Suggesting the clear contrasting aspects of thse two medical system, this study might give several basic informations for ultimate achievement. As a result, some contrasting aspects were revealed as follows. 1. The interpretation of the man's status is contrasted. In Sasang Constitutional Medicine, man is interpreted as the member of the Society(天下) while in Traditional Oriental Medicine as the part of the Nature(天地). 2. The man's modeling is contrasted. In Sasang Constitutional Medicine, man is in the process of becoming as differentiating itself by the inner emotional producing. While in Traditional Oriental Medicine, man is generalized as one model according to the Nature, one great universe(天地). 3. The pathogenesis is contrasted. In Sasang Constitutional Medicine, emotional inclination is the main factor provoking the primary pathogenesis. While in Traditional Oriental Medicine the external isolated pathogenic factors such as Cold, Heat, Warm etc. are significant for the pathogenesis. 4. The evaluation of the disease is contrasted. In Sasang Constitutional Medicine all the diseases are evaluated according to the inherent condition of patient himself. But in Traditional Oriental Medicine the evaluation of disease isolated from the inheret condition of patient himself is generalized in its own system. 5. The prime method of healing, controlling, and maintaining health of the patient is contrasted. For these, the patient's spontaneous effort for adjusting his emotional inclination is important in Sasang Constitutional Medicine. While in Traditional Oriental Medicine, the external adjustment dependent on the herbal medication is the main method for healing, controlling, and maintaining health of the patient.

사용자의 감성을 측정하기 위한 심리적 측정방법 중에서 사용자가 느끼는 감성을 형용사와 같은 어휘를 통해 간접적으로 측정하는 방법, 즉 감성어휘를 추출하여 사용자의 감성을 측정하는 방법이 가장 보편화되어 있는 방법이다. 본 연구의 선행연구에서는 사용자가 제품을 사용하는 도중에 유발되는 인간의 감성 변화를 나타낼 수 있는 감성어휘들과 대표감성들을 추출하여 제품을 사용하는 도중에 표출되는 사용자의 감성을 측정하기에 적합한 주관적 평가스케일을 도출하였다. 사용자의 감성을 측정하기 위한 심리적 측정방법에는 감성어휘를 이용한 체크리스트 외에도 자기-보고 질문지형 스케일도 널리 사용되고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 선행연구를 통해 도출한 주관적 평가스케일을 보다 더 효과적으로 활용하기 위하여 자기-보고 질문지형 스케일을 제안하였다. 또한 개발한 자기-보고 질문지형 척도의 Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ 계수 분석을 통해 신뢰도를 확인할 수 있었다. 따라서 본 연구에서 제시한 자기-보고 질문지형 척도는 제품을 사용하면서 자연스럽게 표출되는 사용자의 감성을 효과적으로 측정하기 위한 척도로 활용할 수 있을 것이다.

스마트TV는 일반TV를 대체할 차세대 TV로 사용자경험(user experience: UX)의 중요성이 높아지고 있다. UX는 사용자의 감정 상태인 몰입, 기쁨, 흥미 정도를 평가하는 것으로 사용성과 함께 스마트TV 설계에서 고려되어야 할 중요한 원칙이며 사용만족도를 증진시켜 지속적인 구매를 유도하게 된다. 그러나 UX는 사용성보다 측정이 어렵고 생리적 또는 심리적 평가방법은 실험 비용과 실험환경의 제약이 많다는 것이 단점이 있다. 본 연구에서는 기존의 스마트TV의 UX 평가방법을 고찰한 후 새로운 UX 측정방법으로 텍스트로부터 감정을 평가하는 방법을 제안한다. 텍스트는 인터넷 쇼핑몰에서 스마트TV를 구매한 사람들이 남긴 상품후기를 사용한다. 이 방법은 설문조사 방법보다 적은 비용으로 감정을 파악할 수 있다는 것이 장점이다.

As a sense of practical field, most researchers emphasize the importance of safety management to prevent marine accidents. The purpose of this paper is to develope a new safety evaluation method using Safety Index (SI) which is to measure the emotional feeling of navigation officer by traffic situations. In this study, the questionnaires with SI are used to investigate the degree of sensing levels of navigation officers according to the navigation situations. In addition, the traffic data obtained from AIS (Automatic Identification System) data are used to give actual situations in the questionnaire investigation. As results of questionaries investigations based upon the AIS data, it is shown that the Safety Index can be used as a criterion to determine the safety levels of ship navigating in a coastal areas.

This study describes a system for human sensibility evaluation using PPG(photoplethysmogram) signal and biofeedback algorithm to respond the bad(negative) mood. For this objective, PPG signals for two emotional states(positive/negative) are collected. To evoke the test emotions, happy(or joyful) and sad(or irritating) movie files are collected and played in subjects' monitor. From the acquired PPG signal, the heart rate variability(HRV) is calculated. Using the HRV and its FFT spectra, the human sensibility is evaluated. Since the heart is a representative organ which is controlled by the autonomic nervous system(ANS), the ANS may reflect the changes in emotion. The biofeedback algorithm is designed with motion image player interacting with the results of the sensibility evaluation. It was shown that HRV was changed according to the subject's emotions. Accordingly, the sensibility evaluation test showed feasibility of the our method.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the nonnative expectations of anger, sadness, fear, and shame in Korean culture by analyzing the textbooks for children's education in the Chosen Dynasty period. The method of this study was document analysis and the materials for analysis were the following four textbooks for children's education that involved individual ethics in everyday life based on Confucianism： 'Dongmongsenspj, 'Gyukmongyogyulj, 'Myungsimbogamj, and 'Sohakj. The analysis was focused on the antecedent events, emotional consequences, and emotional regulations in the emotional processes of anger, sadness, fear, and shame. According to the analysis, anger was caused by ought violations, especially sociomoral violations, and the expression of anger brought about undesirable results, and the inhibition of anger was expected as the regulation rule. Also, many methods of regulating anger were encouraged in the textbooks. For example, one of the regulating methods was to appraise a situation in such a way that anger would not arise. in other hand, sadness was allowed to be expressed only at the death of parents, and the expression of sadness stood for filial piety. Meanwhile, the antecedents of fear were the events to threaten self-esteem, which was mainly focused on keeping moral and social standards. Also the social consequence of fear led to observance of the social norms, and thereby could gain social approval. Therefore, the regulation rule was the enhancement of fear because of anticipated advantageous effects. Finally, the main cause of shame arousal was negative evaluation of self caused by bad performance of ethical or social standards. Accordingly, having shame could prevent wrong behaviors or transgressions which might break interpersonal connectedness, and the regulation rule of shame was to enhance this because of contributing to collective relationship.

본 연구의 최종 목표는 모바일 인터넷 서비스의 사용편의성을 높이는 데 있어 그래픽디자인 평가 방법론을 개발하고, 인터페이스 디자인에서의 사용자 니즈(needs)를 예측할 수 있는 측정모델을 개발하며, 평가기반을 시스템화 하는데 있다. 이를 위해 GUI 디자인 평가 방법론의 핵심 내용을 시스템화하여 프로토타입(Prototype) 설계 및 평가과정을 직접 지원하는 UI 설계지원 시스템으로 구현하였다. Small Screen이라는 제한된 display 환경에서는 사용자가 인지의 과부하 없이 단시간에 임무를 완성하도록 조작정보의 흐름을 즉각적이고 함축적인 방법으로 알려줄 수 있는 사용자 중심의 시각언어-이미지를 이용하여야 하며, 또한 UI 설계에 반영함에 있어서는 객관성을 높여야만 한다. 이에 모바일 인터넷의 사용편의성을 체계적으로 평가할 수 있는 디자인 평가 방법론은 매우 중요하며, 특히 사용자의 디자인 니즈 및 트렌드(Trend)를 예측할 수 있는 그래픽디자인 평가모델은 사용자의 감성적인 측면을 인터페이스 디자인에 반영할 수 있다는 특성으로 해서 그 의의가 매우 크다고 할 것이다. 이러한 디자인 평가라는 결과를 토대로 모바일 인터넷 표준 GUI가 설계되었으며, 차후 유비쿼터스(Ubiquitous) 환경의 GUI 개발에도 활용이 될 수 있는 기초가 되었으면 한다.

As the method of providing information is getting multimedia, the synthetic voice is used in not only CTI(Computer Telephony Integration), information service for the blind, but also applications on internet. But properties of synthetic voice, such as speech rate, pitch, timbre and so on, are not adjusted to customers' preference but providers' preference. In order to consider customers' preference, this study proposed four subjective factors of voice through the evaluation of voice using the method of sensibility ergonomics. And the relation synthetic voice to be agreeable to the ear with emotional images was formulated as a fuzzy model. Consequently, this study proposed the speech rate and pitch of synthetic voice which is agreeable to the ear.

네티즌은 인터넷을 통해서 상품을 구매하고 상품에 대한 감정을 긍정 혹은 부정으로 상품평에 표현한다. 상품평에 대한 분석은 잠재적 소비자뿐만 아니라 기업의 의사결정에 중요한 자료가 된다. 따라서 인터넷의 대량 리뷰에서 의미 있는 정보를 분석하여 의견을 도출하는 오피니언 마이닝 기술의 중요성이 증대되고 있다. 기존의 연구는 대부분이 영어를 기반으로 진행되었고 아직 한글에 대한 상품평 분석은 활발히 이루어 지지 않고 있다. 또한 한글은 영어와 달라 꾸미는 말과 어미가 복잡한 특성을 갖고 있다. 그리고 기존의 연구는 통계적 기법, 사전 기법, 기계학습 기법 등을 사용하여 연구되었으나 인터넷 언어의 특성을 감안하지는 못하였다. 본 연구에서는 감정이 포함된 인터넷 언어의 특성을 분석하여 감정분석의 정확률을 높이는 감정분류 방법을 제안한다. 이를 통해 데이터에 독립적인 인터넷 감정기호를 이용해서 자동으로 긍정 및 부정 상품평을 분류할 수 있었고 높은 정확률, 재현율, Coverage 결과를 통해서 제안 알고리즘의 유효성을 확인할 수 있었다.
