  • Electronic signatures, QR codes, and bar codes are used in payment systems used in real life. Research has begun on the payment system implemented in the VR environment. This paper proposes a VR electronic sign system that uses hand gesture recognition to implement an existing payment system in a VR environment. In a VR system, you can not hit the keyboard or touch the mouse. There can be several ways to configure a payment system with a VR controller. Electronic signage using hand gesture recognition is one of them, and hand gesture recognition can be classified by the Warping Methods, Statistical Methods, and Template Matching methods. In this paper, the payment system was configured in VR using the $p algorithm belonging to the Template Matching method. To create a VR environment, we implemented a paypal system where actual payment is made using Unity3D and Vive equipment.

  • Currently, automated payment services provide intuitive user interfaces by adapting various wireless communication devices with mobile services. For example, companies like Samsung, Google, and Apple have selected the NFC payment method to service payments of existing credit cards. An electronic payment standard has been released for NFC activation within Korea and will strengthen the safety of payment service communications. However, there are various security risks regarding the NFC-based electronic payment method. In particular, the NFC payment service using the recently released lightweight devices cannot provide the cryptographic strength that is supported by many financial transaction services. This is largely due to its computational complexity and large storage resource requirements. The chaotic map introduced in this study can generate a highly complicated code as it is sensitive to the initial conditions. As the lightweight study using the chaotic map has been actively carried out in recent years, associated authentication techniques of the lightweight environment have been released. If applied with a chaotic map, a high level of cryptographic strength can be achieved that can provide more functions than simple XOR operations or HASH functions. Further, this technique can be used by financial transaction services. This study proposes a mutual authentication technique for NFC-PCM to support an NFC payment service environment based on the chaotic map.

  • Globally, Fintech, which acts to replace existing intranational payment methods, is actively used, and such Fintech payments are widely accepted in international B2C trade. However, Fintech for B2B trade has not been released to the market thus far, and previous attempts at electronic international payment systems, such as Bolero, TradeCard, and Identrus, have not succeeded, and most of them have completely disappeared. On the other hand, there are continuing attempts to introduce Fintech technologies such as blockchain to international payments, and these attempts are more widely pursued in foreign countries. If international payments using Fintech are marketed through foreign services and such Fintech services become the de-facto standard for international payments, then Korea in which dependency on international trade is high will be vulnerable due to a dependency on foreign services such as relying on foreign SNS platforms like Facebook and Instagram. Therefore, this paper proposes a business model that can be used as a legitimate B2B trade international payment system on the basis of domestically provided services, focusing on various services afforded by K-SURE, which is the Korea Trade Insurance Corporation.

Abstract The primary requirements for realizing the electronic commerce in agent based mobile computing environments are to implement the compatible secure payment framework. In this paper, we propose both the non-interactive entity authentication scheme that is combined with oblivious transfer protocol 1,2 and the message recovery fair blind signature based on Horster scheme 4,5 . And these techniques are directly applied to the Brand's off-line electronic payment system 3,6 . As the authentication processes are done by non-interactive manner, we can also get efficiency for mobile entity authentication. Additionally, as the used signature scheme provides a message recovery function with publicly verifiable properties, it is efficiently applicable to a counter based off-line electronic payment scheme 6 based on the additional device like smart card. Therefore, we can enhance the reliability of proposed electronic payment system based on the publicly verifiable fairness in its electronic cash by a trusted judge.

  • This paper proposes Electronic Credit Card(EMV) processing procedures for a credit payment method which can be applied to Korean ETCS(Electrical Toll Collection System). In Korea, Korea Highway Corporation services contactless ETCS's called by Hi-Pass and Touch-Pass system at present. These systems operate on a pre-paid payment method similar to electronic money. On the other side, a credit payment method based on credit card has an advantage which does not require pre-paid. The introduction of credit payment method to ETCS is in preparation. In this paper, we propose EMV processing methods based on a credit payment method which can be applied on ETCS.

  • The technique of information-communication rapidly developed has made it possible for us to do business through Internet. Electronic commerce was increased rapidly by the explosive development of the inter and communication revolution. E-Commerce has created a fundamentally new way of conduction and will change drastically accepted ways of doing business. Normally international trade has been formulated in a way that exporters and importers meet face-to-face and contract and pay by letter of credits. For the global electronic commerce to vitalized, the outstanding matters should encourage the creation of infrastructure of information security and new models in the field of electronic payment systems, electronic commerce agreement for remedy, adapting electronic date interchange in transport documents and negotiability of electronic bills of lading. The payment systems such as electronic fund transfers, tradecard system and electronic letters of credits issued by SWIFT system permit the parties concerned(sellers, buyers ad service providers) to settle payment electronically. Still they are many limitations for complete international electronic transactions. The following measures have to be taken to vitalize electronic trade transactions. It is needed to acquire information security such as authenticity, integrity, non-repudiation and confidentiality. All kinds of documents need to be replaced by electronic date exchange and the legal structure of international convention, national law for electronic payment systems have to be completed. Also a detailed guide of the banking operation and developing rules for electronic letters of credits need to be provided to adopt eUCP rules for the electronic presentation of documents.

  • While information and communication develop, the Electronic commerce payment system is progressing. Recently, a government established the electronic commerce activation policy which simplified a payment Through this policy, the information which the financial company monopolizes can be fused with the other industry and create the popularization use of the electronic payment service and value added services. But on the other hand, the concern for the security is very high, Accordingly, the finnancial institute take a restriction of the requirements for the participation company according to the financial scale, this policy is led by the private institue, rather making a participation of fin tech venture difficulty. This paper tries to deal with the technical and legal problems for the activation of electronic payment system and fin tech. So I will examine the security matter that follows in grifting the innovation technology onto the existing payment service and propose a desirable way to improve the current legislation.

  • Traditionally banks and other financial institutions use customers' accounts and information managed by them and provide payment services in dominant positions. Recently, EU amends Payment Services Directive to institutionally guarantee access to customers' accounts and use of account-related information even to third parties, which facilitates competition in financial markets and promotes innovation. However, this kind of change can increase potential security risks and therefore institutional responses from financial authorities are required so that all participants in financial markets can properly respond to security risks. In this study institutional responses to the security risks in the EU's new Payment Services Directive (PSD2) are analyzed, comparisons between this and domestic electronic financial regulations are analyzed, and implications for the direction of improving domestic electronic financial regulations will be suggested.

  • Bank payment obligations (BPO) have been used since 2013 as a payment solution in the business of supply chain finance. The BPO is an irrevocable undertaking of the obligor bank subject to the successful electronic matching of all required data sets with the established baseline in the TMA. Although the BPO should be regarded as similar to a letter of credit, it is a new payment solution based on advanced technology and data-driven mechanisms. The BPO differs from the credit in institutional terms such as bank-to-bank obligations, automated matching engines, and transfer and confirmation, etc. The BPO can also be used effectively as a stand-alone electronic solution to traditional instruments. it provides a new range of solutions to meet the ever-changing needs of trade customers. However, Operation of the BPO can leads to several issues including an assurance of payment between recipient banks and sellers because the BPO is a bank-to-bank obligation. The URBPO does not apply to relationships between banks and their business clients. So, the primary objective of this paper is to promote institutional understanding and present implications by reviewing major issues concerning the BPO as compared with the letter of credit from the institutional point of view. This research was based on documentary research focusing on the preceding research and the materials of ICC and SWIFT.
