Analysis of engine load factor for a 90 kW agricultural combine harvester based on working speed

  • This study aimed to evaluate the engine load factor (LF) of a 90 kW agricultural combine harvester. The combine harvester used in this study is equipped with an electronic engine, and real-time engine data (torque and speed) was collected through a controller area network. The speed of the combine harvester during harvesting operation was divided into three levels (4, 5, and 6 km/h) for the representative operation speed range of 4 to 6 km/h. The LF was calculated using the engine load data measured in real time during harvesting. A weight was applied to the LF for each condition based on a survey of the usage. Results of the field test showed that the LF was 0.53, 0.64, and 0.87 at working speeds of 4, 5, and 6 km/h, respectively. The highest engine load factor was recorded at 6 km/h. Finally, based on the weight for the usage applied, the integrated engine LF was analyzed to be 0.69, which is approximately 144% higher than the currently applied LF of 0.48. A study on LF analysis for the entire work cycle, including idling and driving of the combine harvester, will be addressed in a future study.

고소작업차의 원격 제어를 포함한 중앙집중식 컨트롤러 및 유압식 상승리프트 개발 (Development of Centralized controller with remote control and hydraulic lift)

  • 본 연구는 선행 연구로 진행되었던 과수원 및 농경지에서 사용되는 고소작업차의 안정적인 요소를 설계하기 위하여 진행되었다. Auto leveling system과 수평센서를 이용하여 불규칙하고 경사가진 곳에서 안전하게 작업하기 위하여 유압식 상승리프트를 개발하였으며 고소작업대에서의 제어를 하기 위하여 원격 제어를 포함한 중앙집중식 컨트롤러의 개발을 진행하였다. 개발된 모듈을 통하여 고소작업대에서의 안정적 제어가 되는지 현장 시 운행을 실시하였으며, 고소 작업대의 구조해석을 통하여 작업자가 작업대에서 안전하게 작업을 할 수 있는 최대 적재 하중 및 균등 적재량을 제시함으로서 보다 안전에 대해 유의하도록 하였다. 각 부위별 설계 및 검증, 제작을 통하여 완성된 고소기계차의 현장 시운행을 통하여 프로토타입의 고소기계차를 제작하였고, 몇 가지의 수정 보완 사항을 통하여 연구를 지속적으로 행할 예정이다.

4축 전동실린더의 동기제어시스템 설계 (The Synchronous Control System Design for Four Electric Cylinders)

  • 4대의 전동실린더를 이용하여 대형 유리판과 같은 부하를 신속하고 안전하게 이송하기 위해서는 동기오차가 허용된 범위 내에서 지속적으로 유지되어야 한다. 본 연구에서는 4대 이상의 전동실린더 간의 동기화에 적용 가능한 동기제어기법이 제안된다. 이 동기제어시스템은 디커플링 구조에 기반을 두고 있으며, 기준모델, 위치제어기 그리고 동기제어기로 구성된다. 기준모델은 각각의 실린더에 대해 상호 분리된 동기오차와 제어입력의 계산이 가능하도록 한다. I-PD형의 위치제어기는 각 실린더가 오버슈트와 입력포화를 일으키지 않고 지령을 추종하도록, 그리고 진상보상기형의 동기제어기는 루프정형을 통해 안정적으로 정밀한 동기가 되도록 설계 된다. 끝으로 토크외란이 인가된 상태에서도 4개의 실린더가 신속하고 안정적으로 동기를 유지하면서 목표지점에 도달됨을 시뮬레이션으로 검증한다.

  • 현대 사회에서 다양한 전기기기들의 시스템 회로를 동작시키기 위해서는 여러 직류 전원이 필요하다. 회로의 정상적인 동작을 위해 안정된 직류의 공급이 필수적으로 요구되고 이를 위한 컨버터의 중요성은 매우 크다고 할 수 있다. 본 연구는 부하 변동에 상관없이 출력전압의 안정적인 공급을 유지할 수 있도록 승압형 DC-DC 컨버터인 KY 컨버터에 3-극점 2-영점 전압 제어기를 적용한 PWM DC-DC 컨버터 회로를 제안하였다. 제안된 컨버터 회로의 정상 동작 특성을 입증하기 위해 기존의 컨버터 회로와 비교하여 PSIM 시뮬레이션 프로그램과 PCB 기판에서의 회로 동작 실험을 수행하였다.

스파크 점화 엔진에서 희박연소의 전자제어 히스테리시스 현상에 관한 실험적 연구 (A Experimental Study on the Electronic Control Hysteresis Phenomenon of Lean Burn in Spark Ignition Engine)

  • Recently it is strongly required on lower fuel consumption. lower exhaust emission, higher engine performance. and social demands in a spark ignition gasoline engine. In this study. the experimental engine used at test. it has been modified the lean burn gasoline engine. and used the programmable engine management system, and connected the controller circuit which is designed for the engine control. At the parametric study of the engine experiment, it has been controlled with fuel injection, ignition timing. swirl mode, equivalence ratio engine dynamometer load and speed as the important factors governing the engine performance adaptively. It has been found the combustion characteristics to overcome the hysteresis phenomena between normal and lean air-fuel mixing ranges. by mean of the look-up table set up the mapping values. at the optimum conditions during the engine operation. As the result, it is found that the strength of the swirl flow with the variation of engine speed and load is effective on combustion characteristics to reduce the bandwidth of the hysteresis regions. The results show that mass fraction burned and heat release rate pattern with crank angle are reduced much rather, and brake specific fuel consumption is also reduced simultaneously.

유압식 구동장치의 서보밸브 오프셋 보정 방법에 관한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Research of Servo Valve Offset Correction Method of Hydraulic Actuator)

  • Despite the development of electronic components and microprocessors, hydraulic actuators are still being applied in various applications. In some applications, there is a desire to apply a hydraulic actuator with a relatively small position error to the system. Various studies have been conducted to reduce the position error of hydraulic actuators. In this paper, the position error of the hydraulic actuator when the hydraulic oil pressure is supplied is defined as the offset generated by the servo valve, and the method for correcting the servo valve offset has been studied. A method for compensating the servo valve offset was proposed and it was verified through experiments that the position error of the hydraulic actuator was reduced. We also compared the servo valve offset correction method and controller using the PID control and disturbance observer used to reduce the position error of the hydraulic actuator. No-load test and load test were performed to confirm the performance of the servo valve offset correction method. The results of the study were compared with those obtained by using the disturbance observer and PID control.

Single-Phase Self-Excited Induction Generator with Static VAR Compensator Voltage Regulation for Simple and Low Cost Stand-Alone Renewable Energy Utilizations Part I : Analytical Study

  • In this paper, the comparative steady-state operating performance analysis algorithms of the stand-alone single-phase self-excited induction generator (SEIG) is presented on the basis of the two nodal admittance approaches using the per-unit frequency in addition to a new state variable de-fined by the per-unit slip frequency. The main significant features of the proposed operating circuit analysis with the per-unit slip frequency as a state variable are that the fast effective solution could be achieved with the simple mathematical computation effort. The operating performance results in the simulation of the single-phase SEIG evaluated by using the per-unit slip frequency state variable are compared with those obtained by using the per-unit frequency state variable. The comparative operating performance results provide the close agreements between two steady-state analysis performance algorithms based on the electro-mechanical equivalent circuit of the single-phase SEIG. In addition to these, the single-phase static VAR compensator; SVC composed of the thyristor controlled reactor; TCR in parallel with the fixed excitation capacitor; FC and the thyristor switched capacitor; TSC is ap-plied to regulate the generated terminal voltage of the single-phase SEIG loaded by a variable inductive passive load. The fixed gain PI controller is employed to adjust the equivalent variable excitation capacitor capacitance of the single-phase SVC.

휴대용 멀티미디어 기기를 위한 400mA급 전류 방식 DC-DC 컨버터 (400mA Current-Mode DC-DC Converter for Mobile Multimedia Application)

  • 최근 휴대용 멀티미디어 기기에 있어서 파워 컨버터 블록이 매우 중요한 블록으로 부각되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 휴대 기기를 위한 고성능 DC-DC buck 컨버터를 설계하였다. DC-DC buck 컨버터의 컨트롤러에는 전류를 이용한 컨트롤 방법을 사용하였다. 설계된 전류 방식 DC-DC buck 컨버터는 standard $0.18{\mu}m$ 공정을 통하여 칩으로 제작 되었고, 전체 칩의 크기는 $1.2mm^2$이다. 제작된 칩은 $1\sim1.5MHz$의 주파수에서 동작 하였고, 최대 400mA의 부하 전류를 구동할 수 있다. 또한 컨버터의 최대 변환 효율은 86%이다.

Variable-Speed Prime Mover Driving Three-Phase Self-Excited Induction Generator with Static VAR Compensator Voltage Regulation-Part H : Simulation and Experimental Results-

  • This paper presents the digital computer performance evaluations of the three-phase self-excited induction generator (SEIG) driven by the variable speed prime mover such as the wind turbine using the nodal admittance approach steady-state frequency domain analysis with the experimental results. The three-phase SEIG setup is implemented for small-scale rural renewable energy utilizations. The experimental performance results give a good agreement with those ones obtained from the digital computer simulation. Furthermore, a feedback closed-loop voltage regulation of the three-phase SEIG as a power conditioner which is driven by a variable speed prime mover employing the static VAR compensator (SVC) circuit composed of the thyristor phase controlled reactor (TCR) and the thyristor switched capacitor(TSC) is designed and considered herein for the wind-turbine driven the power conditioner. To validate the effectiveness of the SVC-based voltage regulator of the terminal voltage of the three-phase SEIG, an inductive load parameter disturbances in stand-alone are applied and characterized in this paper. In the stand-alone power utilization system, the terminal voltage response and thyristor triggering angle response of the TCR are plotted graphically. The simulation and the experimental results prove the effectiveness and validity of the proposed SVC which is controlled by the Pl controller in terms of fast response and high performances of the three-phase SEIG driven directly by the rural renewable energy utilization like a variable-speed prime mover.

외란 관측기를 이용한 BLDCM의 위치 및 속도제어 (The Position and Speed Control of the BLDC Motor Using the Disturbance Observer)

  • 전동기의 제어에 있어서 전동기의 수학적 모델 오차와 작용하는 외란에 대해서 강건하며 정밀한 제어의 성능을 요구한다. 강건하며 정밀한 제어를 위하여 외란 관측기를 설계하여 부하변동을 추정하고, 공칭 시스템으로 설계된 백스텝핑 제어기에 적용하였다. 설계된 시스템의 제어 성능을 확인하고자 120 [W]급의 BLDCM(Brushless Direct Current Motor)에 적용하여, 위치제어 및 속도제어의 결과 외란을 극복하고 정상상태 오차가 영으로 수렴하며, 점근적 안정한 결과를 확인할 수 있다.
