In this paper, we investigated the electric field distribution according to the roughness in aramid insulating paper for electric machine. Aramid insulating paper has been used to electric insulating of the traction motor and generators for large capacity. We studied the electric field distribution using boundary element method for Aramid insulating paper. As a result of simulation, the electric field increased according to the surface roughness existence. Electric field decreased due to radius of surface roughness reduction, and Electric field concentration appeared at electrode boundary and rough surface.
The temperature distribution on the superconducting thin-film is analyzed as moving constant field is applied above upper critical field. The distribution of magnetic field is derived in the normal spot. Governing equation is obtained with the help of the equation of conservation of energy. The temperature distribution and the heat dissipation are obtained through computer simulation by the method of numerical analysis. Maximum temperature is occured in the most right side inside normal spot. The temperature is increased abruptly inside the normal spot, and decreased more gradually outside normal spot in the direction of moving field as velocity is increased. Increasing the velocity rather than increasing magnitude of the normal spot and the applied field makes maximum temperature larger. Heat dissipation is affected by the velocity rather than the magnitude of normal spot and the applied field.
To investigate the magnetic field distribution of power line, we used amorphous wire sensor. And we discuss extremely low frequency magnetic field distribution dependent upon arrangement of power line and shielding pipe made from iron or alumimum materials by both measurement and FEM(Finite Element Method) analysis. Appling current of single phase 60 [Hz] 15 [A] is supplied to copper wire coated enamel resign. As the results, we confirmed that linear characteristics of amorphous wire sensor is very excellent and measurement value agrees with FEM calculation. Magnetic field distribution due to shielding materials is changed by permeability and conductivity.
This paper described the verification of modeling technique of underground distribution from comparison between field test and simulation. It needs more exact transient phenomenon analysis model to establish lightning protection of underground distribution line. Although, there were a lot of transient phenomenon researches, nobody could has verified the confidence of modeling from field tests in interior until now. So, simulation model verified field test is needed to analyse transient phenomenon of underground distribution system. The examination must be accomplished in many different condition before suggesting these verified analysis model. In this paper, the conditions were examined and the various data results on the different line composition was compared with the EMTP simulation, when the lightning impulse test was accomplished at underground distribution line. Also the value between field test and simulation was very closed and the method of modeling has demonstrated confidence, when the method is used to analyse domestic transient phenomenon of underground distribution.
In order to check the electric field distribution of polymer line post insulator, we performed electric field simulation according to state of water drops. Sea water is used to the contaminant. Electric field analysis is performed with change of contact angle, number and distance of water drops.
We investigated magnetic field, discharged voltage, and as-deposited film uniformity at facing targets sputtering (FTS) system with magnetic field type: i) concentrated and ii) distributed magnetic field type. And Al doped ZnO (AZO) films were prepared at two magnetic field type such as concentrated magnetic field type and distributed magnetic field type, respectively. Discharge voltage at the distribution type is lower than concentration type due to low magnetic flux (middle magnetic flux: Concentration 1200 G and Distribution 600 G). The films deposited at the distributed magnetic field were more uniform than concentration type. All of prepared AZO films had a resistivity of under $10^{-4}[{\Omega}{\cdot}cm]$ and a transmittance of more than 85 % in the visible range.
It is well known that the accurate calculation of the field distribution is essential for the design of electrical machines. The analytical techniques for electromagnetic field can quickly and exactly determine airgap magnetic field distribution in electrical machines. Many analytical techniques have been investigated to predict the magnetic field distribution in PM machines equipped with permanent magnets. Using the analytical technique by transfer relations, D. L. Trumper and K. R. Davey already presented the design and analysis of linear permanent-magnet machines and induction machines, respectively. Using the transfer relations (Melcher's general methodology) to describe electromagnetic phenomena, this paper deals with the analysis on the magnetic field distribution due to PM and winding current, the induced voltage and the static torque characteristics in surface-mounted slotless type permanent magnet machine. The validity of the analysis results is confirmed by finite element (FE) analysis.
When the inter-turn short circuit (ITSC) fault occurs, the distortion of the magnetic field is serious. The motor loss variations of each part are obvious, and the motor temperature field is also affected. In order to obtain the influence of the ITSC fault on the motor temperature distribution, firstly, the normal and the fault finite element models of the permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) were established. The magnetic density distribution and the eddy current density distribution were analyzed, and the mechanism of loss change was revealed. The effects of different forms and degrees of the fault on the loss were obtained. Based on the loss analysis, the motor temperature field calculation model was established, and the motor temperature change considering the loop current was analyzed. The influence of the fault on the motor temperature distribution was revealed. The sensitivity factors that limit the motor continuous operation were obtained. Finally, the correctness of the simulation was verified by experiments. The conclusions obtained are of great significance for the fault and high temperature demagnetization of the permanent magnet analysis.
This paper is about the analysis of 3-dimensional magnetic field distribution in CPM(Convergence Purity Magnet) considering magnetization vector and the optimum design of CPM. The magnetization vector of CPM is obtained using 2-dimensional magnetization FEA(Finite Element Analysis) coupled with Priesach model. Using this magnetization vector of CPM, we analysed the 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional magnetostatic field of CPM and know that these analysis results are not equal. From experimental result, we know that the 3-dimensional analysis is accurate because the magnetic field distribution in CPM cannot be considered correctly by 2-dimensional analysis because of the shape of CPM. Finally, the optimum designing of CPM which control accurately the electron beam deflection in CRT(Cathode Ray Tube) was possible using 3-dimensional magnetic field analysis result.
this paper describes the electric field distribution interpretation along a shield form inner vacuum interrupter(VI). The equipotential line and electric field and field vector in a VI are analysed by a finite element method at various shield form. in result, The equipotential line and electric field distribution was affected to VI shield form. The reason is as it gets distortion of equipotential line done. shield of cup type is how to electric field distribution, finally, this paper recognized whether or not affected, and proposed gap with the most suitable shield length and an external insulation.
