NOVC형식 하이브리드 자동차의 최고 출력측정방법 연구 (A Study on Maximum Power Measurement Method for NOVC-type Hybrid Electric Vehicle)

  • UNECE/WP29/GRPE/EVE has recently defined that the power of a hybrid electric vehicle is the system power. Although a method for measuring the maximum power of a hybrid electric vehicle is presented by KATRI, it does not consider charging and discharging characteristics of traction batteries. This study provides a maximum power measurement method which reflects the charging and discharging characteristics of traction batteries in NOVC-HEVs (Not Off Vehicle Charging-Hybrid Electric Vehicles). Both methods are compared with regard to the output measurement results.

  • As a part of environmental pollution mitigation in China, the number of environmentally friendly vehicles in China is proliferating, attention to vehicles that use environmentally friendly energy continues to increase, and China's new energy vehicle market is also growing rapidly. Similar to existing research, the focus of the subsidy is to provide financial support for electric vehicle buyers and the expansion of new energy vehicle charging infrastructure. Under these circumstances, this study attempts to understand the influence of Chinese consumers' green responsibility and other psychological factors on electronic vehicle purchase intention based on norm activation theory and theory of planned behavior. PLS-SEM examined the proposed hypotheses with 369 valid Chinese consumers, and all were supported. Our findings contribute to the extension of the research scope of Chinese consumers' intention to purchase electric vehicles and provide practical information for domestic and foreign firms entering China, the world's largest electric vehicle market.

A Sliding Mode Observer Design for Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles

  • This paper presents the sliding mode observer of an induction motor for the fuel cell electric vehicles. The exact rotor flux estimation of the induction motor is important for achieving the best performance from the fuel cell electric vehicle system. However, the flux estimator of the induction motor control is highly sensitive to the voltage sensor output characteristics and system parameter variation influenced by external factors. In order to eliminate these problems, this paper investigates the electric vehicle performance due to parameter variation of the induction motor. A new method to estimate the fuel cell electric vehicle system is proposed based on the sliding mode observer.

  • Electric vehicle fires in underground parking lots are very dangerous, but it is judged that the current related laws and regulations do not change, which will cause problems. As a result of the analysis for the purpose of providing an electric vehicle in an underground parking lot, fire-resistance coating is essential as it can cause an explosion in the building members made of high-strength concrete when an electric vehicle fire occurs in an underground parking lot. Since a fire occurs, it is necessary to prevent electric vehicles from parking adjacent to each other.

Manufacturing of the Prototype for CVT using Spring & Application at Small Electric Vehicle

  • Global warming is causing abnormal climates such as floods, droughts, and typhoons all over the world. According to some scientists, carbon dioxide emitted from automobiles is the main cause of global warming. To cope with this, each country is making efforts to replace the existing fossil fuel-powered engine-driven cars with electric vehicles. In order to commercialize small electric vehicles in Korea, it is necessary to solve many problems such as improvement of hill climbing capacity and improvement of power performance. In this study, we propose a proprietary model for a continuously variable transmission(CVT) of a small electric vehicle that can be operated on hills, in which a spring is mounted on a driving pulley and a driven pulley. A prototype of the CVT model using a spring was manufactured and attached to a small electric vehicle body.

  • 기존 내연기관에 비해 전기자동차가 가지는 한계 중 하나는 에너지 밀도가 상대적으로 낮은 배터리로 인한 짧은 주행거리이며, 겨울철 실내 난방을 위하여 전기 히터 사용 시, 전기 소모량이 30%이상 증가하는 문제가 발생한다. 본 연구에서는 전기 히터보다 에너지 효율이 우수한 히트펌프를 이용하여 난방 시, 전기 자동차의 주행성능 변화를 조사하였다. 일차원 해석 프로그램인 AMESim Software를 이용하여 전기자동차의 구동시스템 및 히트펌프의 해석모델을 개발하였고, 해석 결과 전기 히터를 히트펌프로 대체하면, 배터리 소모량이 약 50% 감소하여 그 만큼의 주행거리를 증가시킬 수 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구 결과는 전기자동차 난방을 위한 히트펌프의 장점을 입증하였으며, 향후 전기 자동차 난방 대책의 비전을 제시하는데 기여할 것으로 사료된다.

  • HIL(Hardware-in-the-Loop) 개념을 적용하면 하이브리드 자동차용 부품의 자동차 환경에서의 특성을 부품을 차량에 장착하지 않고도 평가 할 수 있게 된다. 본 논문에서는 특정 전동기를 하이브리드 자동차용 전동기로 사용하였을 경우 자동차의 구동 특성을 분석할 수 있는 HIL 방식을 구현하기 위한 부품 특성 시험. 구동특성 시뮬레이션, 장치 구성 방법을 설명한다. 시험장치는 자동차 시뮬레이터, 부하장치로 구성되며 시뮬레이션에서 사용된 차량제어기를 직접 차량제어기로 사용하게 된다. 부하장치는 차량의 동적 특성을 모의하게 된다. 특히 기존의 차량의 관성을 모의하기 위한 기계적 관성부하를 사용하지 않고 부하장치를 능동적으로 제어 하여 차량에 적용되었을 경우의 전동기 특성을 구할 수 있다. 시험 전동기가 병렬방식 하이브리드 자동차에 적용되었을 경우의 전동기의 실제 특성을 구할 수 있다. 제안된 방식은 하이브리드 자동차의 구동 특성을 교육하기 위한 교육매체로 사용 될 수 있다.

  • Electric vehicles (EV) are developing fast during this decade due to drastic issues on the protection of environment and the shortage of energy sources, so new technologies allow the development of electric vehicles (EV) by means of electric motors associated with static converters. The proposed propulsion system consists of two induction motors (IM) that ensure the drive of the two back driving wheels. The electronic differential system ensures the robust control of the vehicle behavior on the road. It also allows controlling, independently, every driving wheel to turn at different speeds in any curve. This paper presents the study of an hybrid Fuzzy-sliding mode control (SMC) strategy for the electric vehicle driving wheels, stability improvement, in which the fuzzy logic system replace the discontinuous control action of the classical SMC law. Our electric vehicle fuzzy-sliding mode control's simulated in Matlab SIMULINK environment, the results obtained present the efficiency of the proposed control with no overshoot, the rising time is perfected with good disturbances rejections comparing with the classical control law.

  • In this paper, the component loss models of the electric vehicle(EV) and the internal combustion engine vehicle(ICEV) are developed to analyze the losses and efficiencies of these two types of vehicles. The EV powertrain efficiency decreases as the vehicle velocity increases over most of the vehicle velocity range because the battery efficiency decreases. Especially, the EV powertrain efficiency decreases significantly when the battery SOC is low. But the ICEV powertrain efficiency increases as the vehicle velocity increases. This is because the efficiencies of both the transmission and engine increases.

  • In this paper, proposed a multi-channel charging control strategy for electric vehicle. This control strategy can adjust the charging power according to the calculated state-of-charge (SOC). Electric vehicle (EV) charging system using Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) algorithm is proposed. A stochastic optimization algorithm technique such as PSO in the time-of-use (TOU) price used for the energy cost minimization. Simulation results show that the energy cost can be reduced using proposed method.
