  • 전기철도에서의 급전시스템은 레일을 귀선으로 사용하는 단상급전시스템을 사용하고 있다. 이에 따라 레일로부터 대지로의 누설에 의해 상당한 누설전류가 대지로 흐르게 된다. 대지로 흐르는 이 누설전류는 전자유도에 의해 선로 주변에 설치된 통신 케이블 또는 장치에 영향을 주게 된다. 더욱이 전기차의 견인시스템은 견인전동기를 제어하는데 있어서 스위칭 소자의 개폐에 의한 고조파 전류를 발생하고 있어 대지누설전류에 고조파 전류가 포함되어 흐른다. 본 연구에서는 전기철도 급전시스템에서 통신유도원인 대지누설전류에 따른 고려되어야 할 급전시스템 설계 파라미터를 시뮬레이션을 통하여 검증하였으며, 이 결과가 향후 급전시스템 설계시 기본적인 지침이 되어야 할 것이다.

Analysis of AT Feeding System using Constant Power Model for Train (정전력 열차 모델을 이용한 AT급전 시스템 해석)

  • In this paper constant power models for electric trains have been used to analyze the steady states of the AT feeding systems. There are some previous studies utilizing constant impedance models or constant current models. These mentioned models are easy to use, but even so they don't yield exact results because of the innate restraints of the models since linear models cannot represent the characteristic of constant power in inverter-driven trains. It is reasonable that the train be considered as a constant load model when it drives or as a constant source model when it applies regenerative brake. Nonlinear equations which reflect constant power model for train have been developed by considering mutual impedances between wires and AT's turn-ratio of 1:1, then these equations have been solved by N-R iterative method. The proposed method doesn't need any specific assumptions through either the process of developing equations or the process of acquiring solutions, so it can be said to be stricter than other conventional methods.

  • Fiber Reinforced Plastic (FRP) insulator has a higher performance than porcelain. It is only used in domestic AC 25 kV electric railway system. Seoul Metro has developed DC 1500 V polymer insulator since 2008. The test of moisture infiltration is carried out. The test results showed that all result values satisfy the test standard.

  • Currently, many countries in the world operate double deck trains as one of the efficient, reliable and comfortable mass transportation systems. However, double deck trains have relatively big cross sectional areas that cause interface problems between the vehicles and infrastructures, and do not have enough spaces for installing electric equipments. Therefore, prior to the operation of double deck trains on the existing lines in Korea, careful investigations should be performed. In this study, we have designed the concept model of a double deck EMU train system and analyzed related problems.

  • KHST(Korean High-Speed Train, 350km/h), composed of 7 cars that are 2 power cars, 2 motorized car and 3 trailer cars, has been developed and is under on-line test. To verify hte design requirements about the functions and traction performances of this train, KRRI(Korea Railroad Research Institute) decided to evaluate traction performances of the train during on-line test. For this purpose, such as torque, velocity, voltage and current, must be measured. BRRI has developed the measurement system that can be measured vast and various signals effectively. In this paper, we introduce traction performances of KHST. The traction measurement items are focused on the verification of motor block performances.

  • The HVAC takes the most important role in the Electric Multiple Unit for maintaining the healthy and comfortable indoor environment, however we also should consider the outdoor environment in terms of "environment's friendly" because the refrigerant used for the HVAC system is strongly related with the issues of "the Protection of environment" such as "the Global Warming" and "The Ozone layer Depletion". Therefore we survey (1)the potentially harmful impact on human health and the environment through modification of the ozone layer and the Green house effect, and (2)the international and the domestic environment's policies and (3)the potential alternative refrigerants usable for the EMU HVAC in terms of "the environment friendly properties", "the performance" and (4) "the applicabilities of the refrigerant for the EMU HVAC".

  • A paradigm shift in driving system of transportation vehicle from engine to electric motor is required as the problems on air pollution and drain of petroleum resource are on the rize. Moreover while it is possible to control the motor with variable frequency driver, the application of motor in various kinds of vehicles is spread rapidly. In the paper, the effective design method of IPMSM for EV and HEV by using equivalent magnetic circuit and finite element method (FEM) is suggested. First of all, load conditions of the application are calculated. And basic design process of IPMSM is proposed with two design point. Finally, in order to verify the proposed design process, it was compared with the basic design parameter and the FEM analysis results.

  • High-speed traction has voltage source variation because the electric power of tractions is supplied by difference traction power system according to operating section. This paper proposes the robust control maintaining constant output performance against voltage source variation for PWM converters of the high speed traction. The proposed scheme consists of feed-forward compensation for current controller by on-line calculating the rms voltage of voltage source. Total dynamic performance of high speed traction can be improved by the reduction of the output voltage ripple which is resulted from voltage source sag and variation. The superior performance and validity of the proposed scheme is proved through the simulation.

  • Because of the environmental matters the importance of the city railroad is as time goes by increasing. The case of obstacle of the power equipment which supplies electric power to city railroad will occur social and economical enormous loss. Thus, I studied on the preventing method in advance which makes it possible for us to maintain facilities efficiently. The main check points of the power facilities are voltage, current, humidity, partial discharge, move current. These points are gathered by sensor and transmitting to data acquisition device. These data are used to check equipment status in real time. In this paper I described in brief test process and results of the detection system.

  • 본 논문은 전동차용 추진제어장치의 재점착제어에 관한 것이다. 본 연구에서는 공전검지 방법에 대하여 기술하고, 등가 관성량을 이용한 추정재점착제어에 관하여 제시한다. 서울시 6호선 국산화 전동차(609편성)와 광주도시철도 1호선 전동차에 적용하여 재점착 제어성의 우수함과 안정성을 검증 하고자 한다.
