A Model for Power Quality Control Mechanism for Electric Power Market (전력시장체제하에서의 전력품질제어 메커니즘에 대한 모델링)

  • To provide a specified power quality under electric market system is becoming an important issue for customers and utility company. However, there is no realistic infra-structure to design a power system for the specified power quality. Present electric market is operating under the economic point of view. The low power price could be attractive, but the effect of low price could result the lower power quality for the long time and threat power system security. This paper presents a model which conceptualize the dynamic power quality control mechanism to minimize total cost of a society which is affected electric power quality. This model aims to produce a basic infra-structure to balance cost and quality under the electric market system.

  • Every year respect a countermeasure establishment the electric leakage detection system and electric leakage investigation work are becoming enforcement line plentifully in about the electric leakage accident which is increasing, measuring in compliance with a most ground connection voltage and an image electric current mainly is become accomplished, inputs a pulsation group signal in the line and detects a signal change between the line a method which there is.   • In front of the opening of electric distribution market in 2004, it is indispensable to have a proper estimation of power quality index and rower quality cost calculation mechanism which are indispensable to stabilize highly industrialized society and to vitalize the Investment lot electric power system. However, there were not enough measures to reflect the voltage characteristics such as voltage sags and Interruptions which make electric load in unstable operation. This paper suggests power quality index and power quality cost which translate various kinds of voltage records into bus load drop index(BLDI) and bus power quality cost(BPQC) based on aggregated load CBEMA curve. A sample calculation result shows that this method can produces the acceptable power Quality index and costs for utilities and customers requirements.

  • In order to investigate the quality in compliance with an electric leakage electric current from the electric leakage area after conferring the electric leakage environment in compliance with a flooding when the electric leakage electric current exists in the surface, it investigated the electric leakage electric current quality from the electric current distribution and flooded districts from the present paper. At the result, we have known that flux density is constant regardless of distance variation.

  • Recently, various measures have been discussed for overcoming depletion of fossil fuels and environmental pollution. One of the measures is electric vehicles. But electric vehicles has some limitations from high cost of battery and low efficiency, so operation distance of electric cars is limited. Also there are difficulties that charging lines should be connected by an electric car whenever it charges. Thus, many studies have been conducted to overcome the limitation using conventional batteries of electric vehicles. As a result, the OLEV(On-Line Electric Vehicle) was developed. But the OLEV system is some limitations. The OLEV system causes power quality problems when it charges. Power quality problem cannot be ignored because OLEV systems are closely connected by distribution grids. In this paper, the OLEV system is designed by using PSCAD/EMTDC, and the power quality is measured and evaluated. Power quality is divided by two cases; harmonics and high-frequency. Harmonics were evaluated according to IEEE Std. 519-1992. But the evaluation of High-frequency could not take it because there was no standard. For this reason, the data measured by OLEV system was compared with the EN50065 regulation.

  • With rising fuel costs and the depletion of fossil fuels, electric vehicles of high efficiency has been increasing interest. although high-performance battery continually is developing, Electric vehicles is not satisfied with the characteristics of the environment. In this study, By using the current fuel economy testing methods(5-cycle test), until the fully discharged battery electric vehicles is evaluated for a variety of environmental and operating conditions. As a result, Electric vehicles showed a low energy consumption efficiency in low temperature and rapid acceleration, deceleration in the operating environment compared with normal temperature.

  • The occurrence of algae caused by eutrophication of fresh water is a pollution source to destroy the aquatic environment. When the high voltage electric field is applied in the water, When a high voltage is applied to the electric field in the water, the algae can be broken the balance of cell membranes, and is dead. In this paper, we develop a water quality improvement system for generating an electric field having a higher energy than the zeta potential when a high voltage is applied to 4,000V. To ensure the mobility of the water quality improvement system, we designed the PV generation system using the optimal size technique that is based on the model of power lack ratio. By evaluating the output characteristics of the water quality improvement system, power generation characteristics of the PV generation system, and battery charging characteristics, we can show that the proposed system can be applicable to the water quality improvement system inhibiting the growth rate of the algae in the fresh water.

A Case Study on Quality Improvement of Electric Vehicle Hairpin Winding Motor Using Deep Learning AI Solution (딥러닝 AI 솔루션을 활용한 전기자동차 헤어핀 권선 모터의 용접 품질향상에 관한 사례연구)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to actually implement and verify whether welding defects can be detected in real time by utilizing deep learning AI solutions in the welding process of electric vehicle hairpin winding motors. Methods: AI's function and technological elements using synthetic neural network were applied to existing electric vehicle hairpin winding motor laser welding process by making special hardware for detecting electric vehicle hairpin motor laser welding defect. Results: As a result of the test applied to the welding process of the electric vehicle hairpin winding motor, it was confirmed that defects in the welding part were detected in real time. The accuracy of detection of welds was achieved at 0.99 based on mAP@95, and the accuracy of detection of defective parts was 1.18 based on FB-Score 1.5, which fell short of the target, so it will be supplemented by introducing additional lighting and camera settings and enhancement techniques in the future. Conclusion: This study is significant in that it improves the welding quality of hairpin winding motors of electric vehicles by applying domestic artificial intelligence solutions to laser welding operations of hairpin winding motors of electric vehicles. Defects of a manufacturing line can be corrected immediately through automatic welding inspection after laser welding of an electric vehicle hairpin winding motor, thus reducing waste throughput caused by welding failure in the final stage, reducing input costs and increasing product production.

  • This study is experimented results of running characteristics about electric locomotive. it executed to study a power quality in the substation of Honam electrification line and to promote knowledge, observation and management in electric rail-system. we measured to know the more exactly running characteristics that electric locomotive and electric substation at the same time.
