An Effect of Employment Stability by Business Incubator Manager on Performance by Business Incubation (창업보육센터 매니저의 고용안정성이 창업보육 성과에 미치는 영향)

  • To determine the effect of employment stability by business incubator manager on the service level and management performance by new businesses, the survey of 215 businesses at 50 business incubator centers over the country was conducted. This study is to confirm that employment stability by business incubator manager is one of significant variables to support growth of new businesses. As a result of study, with respect to the effect of employment stability by business incubator manager on the supportive service level and management performance by new businesses, the group with higher employment stability by manager revealed statistically more significant effect than the group with less did, and the group with higher employment stability showed higher manager performance as well. Furthermore, as a result of analyzing the relationship between supportive service level and management performance and performance by manager, as performance by manager is higher, the service satisfaction and management performance by new businesses were higher. This indicates that to support successful new business by the business incubator, the center shall ensure employment stability of a manager to establish the condition of stable support for new businesses, and that through enhancement of professionalism by a manager, the foundation to support growth of new businesses shall be prepared as well.

  • The main purpose of the study is the impacts of applying two dimensions of Learning Organization on Job Satisfaction and the mediating effect of the Self efficacy. As a result, Structural Factor had not positive effect and Human Factor had positive effect on the Job Satisfaction. The mediating effect of Self efficacy had significant effect between Learning Organization and Job Satisfaction. The result of this study is not presented at the existing research. Therefore, tthe supervisor should make efforts to develop skills for the management of learning organization in order to fit the nature of the group members.

A Study on the Effect of Business Capabilities on Job Creation Intenion : Mediating Effect of Entrepreneur Passion and Moderating Effect of Gender (비즈니스 역량이 창직 의지에 미치는 영향 : 기업가 열정의 매개효과 및 성별 조절효과)

  • The purpose of this study was to find ways to effectively utilize job creation activities that can be an alternative to employment and entrepreneurship in diverse and subdivided labor markets. The effect of business capability on the job creation intention and the mediating effect of entrepreneurship were identified, and gender was used as a control variable for comparison among groups. The questionnaire was composed of 4 questions for 6 variables, and a 7-point Likert scale was used. Frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, descriptive statistics analysis, correlation analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, structural relationship analysis, mediating effect and moderating effect were conducted on 392 people who answered the questionnaire sincerely. As a result of analysis the relationship between the job creation intention in business capability, the entrepreneur passion in business capability and the job creation intention in entrepreneur passion had a positive (+) effect. Entrepreneur passion in the verification of bootstrapping mediating effects played a mediating role in the relationship between business capability and job creation intention. It was found that there was no difference in the job creation intention according to the gender that was compared between groups. The job creation activities must overcome the negative perspectives and worries around them with the differentiation of items experience and know-how a business model that reflects recent trends and a passionate and persistent Jobcreatorship.

The Effects of the Oyster Seed Selection on Profitability of the Oyster Aquaculture Business (굴 수하식 양식에 있어 종묘의 선택이 수익성에 미치는 영향)

  • The objective of this study is to analyze the effects of the oyster seed selection on profitability of the oyster aquaculture business The results of the analysis are as follows ; 1) The comparison of profitability among four different oyster seed applied to the four different scale : 1ha, 3ha, 5ha, and 10ha. The results of the comparison show that, for all scale, the artificial oyster seed is more profitable than the natural oyster seed or the natural oyster seed imported from Japan. 2) There are four important determinant variables of profitability to aquaculture business. In the order of their effect, it is oyster price, quantity of production, labor cost, and seed price. 3) If differences of price between the artificial hardening oyster seed and the natural hardening oyster seed are more less 1,430 won, the former is better. 4) The effect of increasing income of fishermen are estimated about 58.5 billion won or 102 billion won from the artificial oyster seed on the oyster aquaculture.

  • This study aims to examine the relationship between certain dimensions of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) with market performance, measured by Tobin's Q, on companies within various industries in Indonesia. This study disaggregates CSR into 7 dimensions: environment, energy, occupational safety and health, employee, product, community, and general. Samples consisted of 385 companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during 2007-2014. OLS analysis shows that CSR contributes greatly to the formation of market performance of consumer goods, agriculture, and miscellaneous industries. The dimensions of CSR contribute differently to the formation of Q ratios in different industries. We also found that there are differences in the speed of effect of several dimensions of CSR on the formation of market performance; some CSR dimensions give immediate effect while others are lagged.

  • The purpose of this study is to empirically analyze whether open innovation activities are significant and which methods are more effective in developing new businesses. Based on the latest technological innovation survey data of the Science and Technology Policy Institute, the results were analyzed by binary logistic regression analysis. As a result of the analysis, we confirmed that open innovation activities have a positive effect on the performance of developing new businesses. In the open innovation activities, Recruitment (invitation) of specialist in related fields, Business alliance technical agreement, Dispatch of personnel, M&A, Acquisitions identify related field trends showed more influence in order. It would be beneficial to improve the performance of developing new businesses with a low probability of success if utilize more effective innovation activities in developing new business in enterprises or organizations throughout this study.

Influences of Information Technology Structure Taxonomy on Business Performance - Moderating Effect of Organization Structure and Control System - (정보기술구조유형이 경영성과에 미치는 영향 - 조직구조와 통제시스템의 조절효과를 중심으로 -)

  • While the value of information technology has long been a hot issue, few solid results have been found as of yet. It is partly due to methodological factors and model underspecifcation. This study empirically develops a ITS(information technology structure) taxonomy and investigates the relationships between ITS taxonomy and business performance in the Korean firms. Among factors that impact business performance, organization structure and control system are selected and they are hypothesized to moderate-the relationships between ITS taxonomy and business performance. By surveying 91 manufacturing firms and applying hierarchical cluster analysis, four ITS are identified : centralized, decentralized, centralized cooperative, decentralized cooperative. ANOVA, correlation analysis and crosstable analysis say the presence of moderating effect of organization structure and control system. Cooperative ITS is best in business performance. Centralized ITS is related to functional organizational form. Decentralized ITS is related to product organizational form with decentralized decision making, Centralized cooperative ITS is related to matrix organizational form. Decentralized cooperative ITS is related to matrix organizational form with high integration. These findings have implications for the opportunities and challenges to match information technology with organization structure and control system.

Impact of Competency of Consulting Company on Business Performance: Focus on Franchise Companies

  • Purpose - The purpose of this study was to structurally verify how the competency of consulting company affects the business performance of consulting client firms through consulting achievement and consulting utilization. It aims to provide information for successful consulting and suggest strategic measures to improve consulting performance. Research design, data, and methodology - This study examines the structural relationship between competency of consulting company, consulting performance, and performance of consulting client firms. In this model, competency of consulting company consists of three sub-dimensions such as reputation, ability to perform business, and expertise. For these purposes, research model and hypotheses were developed. This survey was conduct ed for employees of companies that have experienced consulting in the past year. A total of 195 were used for this study. The data were analyzed using frequency analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, correlation analysis, and SEM with SPSS 18.0 and Amos 18.0 statistical program. Result - The results of this study are as follows. First, reputation, ability to perform business and expertise, which are sub-dimensions of consulting competence, was found to have positive effect on consulting achievements and also found to have a positive effect on utilization. Second, consulting performance was found to have positive effects on business performance of consulting client firms. It means that the management's willingness to utilize consulting results and the achievements of consulting performance have a positive effect on the company's management performance. Conclusions - Consulting firms need to perform customer-oriented consulting by accurately recognizing what management consulting is required by the client firms. The academic significance of this study was that the research was conducted through structural empirical analysis, not only from the relationship of competency of consulting company to consulting performance, but also to the relationship of business performance of client firms. In addition, the practical implication of this study is that clients can actively utilize the results of consulting to lead business performance.

The Effects of the Business Ethical Value upon Person-organization Fit, Job Satisfaction, Turnover Intent and Organization Performance;The Employees of Family Restaurant and Feeding Facility (기업의 윤리적인 가치와 종사원의 개인조직적합성, 직무만족도, 이직의도 및 조직성과의 인과관계에 관한 연구;패밀리레스토랑과 단체급식 종사원을 대상으로)

  • The purpose of this study was to determine the empirical cause-effect relationships among business ethical values and person-organization fit, job satisfaction, turnover intent, and organizational performance within family restaurants and feeding facilities. Self-administered questionnaires were completed by 459 restaurant employees. The SPSS and Amos programs were then applied to the data to perform frequency, factor, reliability, correlation and SEM analyses. The primary results are as follows. First, business ethical values had a significant positive effect on person-organization fit. Second, person-organization fit had a significant positive effect on job satisfaction, and a significant negative effect on turnover intent. Third, job satisfaction had a significant positive effect, and turnover intent had a significant negative effect, on organizational performance. Finally, upon verifying the possible direct and indirect effects of business ethical values within family restaurants and feeding facilities, it was determined that the ethical values had significant direct and indirect effects on person-organization fit, job satisfaction, turnover intent, and organizational performance. These findings have various implications. For example, an improved in-house ethical working environment leads to greaterperson-organization fit, and having employees that feel there is better in-house ethical reliability leads to greater consistency between personal and organizational values, resulting in higher job satisfaction and ultimately organizational performance.

A Study of Perceptual Difference about Service Quality between Service Providers and Users - Focused on the Administrative Services of University - (서비스 제공자와 서비스 이용자 간의 서비스품질에 관한 인식 차이 연구 - 대학 행정서비스를 중심으로 -)

  • A study for service quality is actively done but that for the quality level of the provided service recognized by the service provider for the same service, and for the difference in quality level of service use recognized by the service user is not relatively widely done. Thus, this study analyzed difference between the quality level of the provided service recognized by the service provider and the quality level of service use recognized by the service user, around administrative service as one of cores of the university service, and examined how difference between both service qualities have effect on business the business satisfaction level of the service provider. We measured the service level provided by the individual in charge of the administrative service of the A-university and examined the service quality in business by use of questionnaires. As the result, it was appeared that the quality level of the provided service recognized by the service provider for the same service quality was higher than the quality level of service use recognized by the service user. In addition, it was found that the quality level of the provided service recognized by the service provider had a significant effect on the service provider's business satisfaction level but the quality level of service use recognized by the service user had not effect on the business satisfaction level of the provider.
