The purpose of this study was to examine the usefulness of financial ratios as comparison analysis of households financial status. Two household types were discussed such as earner and self-employed. Financial ratios were developed for 2739 households for earners and 2147 households for self-employed using. Korean Household Panel Study from Daewoo Economic Research Center. Descriptive Statistics were used to analyze the financial ratios and seven different finantial ratios were utilized to compare the fiancial status of two different households type. Easers have more average income and net-assets than self-employed. However, using financial ratios, it was found that self-employed households were more stable than easer. The resets shows that the financial ratio analysis gives better tool to estimate households'financial status. Implications for financial educators, counselors, and planners are offered.

The Marketing strategy is basic to the marketing plan for a firm. It encompasses the art and science of employing the means for achieving established marketing goals. The use of the word "strategy" in reference to the performance of marketing operations has been accepted in general usage during the last twenty years by both business practitioners and educators. It has been borrowed from the military vocabulary where it refers to the art and science of employing the armed strength of a belligerent force to secure the objectives of war. A marketing strategy consists of two distinct and yet interrelated parts: 1. A target market ${\cdots}{\cdots}$a fairly homogeneous group of customers to whom a company wishes to appeal. 2. A marketing mix ${\cdots}{\cdots}$ the controllable variables which the company combines to satisfy this target group.get group.

Using literary and educational points of view, this study examined the prizewinning poems for children in the Annual Literary Contest sponsored by the Dongah-ilbo and the Chosun-ilbo between the 1970s and 2001. The average age of both male and female writers increased over time, 82% were college graduates, and 54% were educators. All of the poems referred to nature in some ways, either as the major theme(42%) or in passing reference to some aspect of nature(58%). Onomato-poetic words were used in 71% of the poems; similes and metaphors were expressed in 13% and 51%, respectively; 58% were written from a mediator's point of view; 59% were in the present tense; 78% of the space elements were fixed; and 98% were written in free verse. In conclusion, the poems for children of the Annual Literary Contest should be used in literary education with guidelines for the appreciation, creation, and criticism of poems for children.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of generation on consciousness toward wedding ritual and to compare the difference in their consciousness between the young and the old. Data were obtained from 489 individuals living in Seoul. OLS regression analysis was used to identify the effect of generation on consciousness toward wedding ritual. The effect of generation was significant in the consciousness of wedding procedures, while it was not significant in the consciousness of wedding expenditures, holding other factors constant. [t was also found that procedure-important style was associated with more expenditures on wedding. The findings of this study suggested that the materialism had an important effect on the consciousness of wedding procedures for both generations. Understanding these factors is useful for family resource management professionals and educators who develop educational programs to build desirable wedding culture in Korea.

Purpose: This study was conducted in order to explore the factors affecting the hope in nursing students. Methods: A total of 166 nursing students participated in the study. Data was analyzed using SPSS WIN 18.0. Results: The mean scores for social support, self-efficacy, and hope were above-average level. There were significant mean differences in hope according to religion, academic achievement, and satisfaction with nursing majors. Hope correlated positively with social support and self-efficacy. The significant predictors of hope included social support and satisfaction with the nursing major. The regression model explained 12.7% of hope. Conclusion: To improve hope in nursing students, nursing educators should focus on promoting their social support and satisfaction with the nursing major.

Presently, in the countries, such as America and Japan which are better in socio-economical conditions than Korea, in Taiwan which is similar in them to us, and even in Thailand and Philippine which are thought lower in them, health education is taught as one of curricular subjects in elementary and secondary school levels. In Korea, however, the importance of teaching health education as a curricular subject has been recognized among many professionals of health since a long time ago. Along with current rapid development of polytechnique and industry, various kinds of serious health hazard have appeared even in our daily life, so it has been urgently needed that people have comprehensive knowledge and skills to resolve one's own health problems. Among various conditions needed to resolve the health problems in our society, it is one of the most effective precedures that health education is taught as a curricular subject at least in elementary and secondary school levels. For this, the followings are inevitable ; reformation of school health organization and laws involving health, development of teaching materials in health and training of health educators.

Emergency funds are usually identified as liquid assets because they are easily and quickly converted to cash for the needs of unexpected expenses. Empirical studies spplirf got American Households have found that most households do not have recommend levels of liquid savings and an analysis of the 1990 survey of consumer expenditures confirms revious findings. Family Income and Expenditure Survey in Korea is the data base for this study and the level of emergency fund as a flow asset is investigated. A three period model of optimal consumption is presented. The results suggest that many consumers who do not have the recommend levels of liquid assets may be acting rationally. The results may be useful for financial counselors and educators. as well as for insight into empircial patterns of savings.

Educators have found that the concept of randomness is often misunderstood by students. Chance recently pointed out that students should be introduced to the concept of randomness through the use of simulations. In this article, we studied various aspects of the probability distribution off linear random path in a circle and introduce some related simulations to guide student exploration and discovery. Consider a random line segment that crosses a circle with a certain radius. Perhaps it can be considered to be a path that an airplane shows up and flies into a random direction in a monitor. What is the expected amount of flying distance through the monitor, and the expected variation\ulcorner Are we monitoring what we see scientifically\ulcorner This article studies the probability distribution and some related aspects of a linear random path within a circular monitor. Some simulative activity is also introduced which can be used in a statistics or probability classes.

In late 19C, German mathematician Felix Klein declaired "Erlangen program" to reform mathematics education in Germany. The main ideas of "Erlangen program" contain the importance of instructing the concepts of functions and groups in school mathematics. After one century from that time, the importance of concepts of groups revived by Bourbaki in the sense of the algebraic structure which is the most important structure among three structures of mathematics - algebraic structure. ordered structure and topological structure. Since then, many mathematicians and mathematics educators devoted to work with the concepts of group for school mathematics. This movement landed on Korea in 21C, and now, the concepts of groups appeared in element mathematics text as plane rigid motion. In this paper, we state the rigid motions centered the symmetry - an important notion in group theory, then summarize the results obtained from some classroom activities. After that, we discuss the responses of children to concepts of groups.of groups.
