  • In this study. we tried to provide basic materials for teachers to develop consumer's guide of internet shopping for middle and high school students through surveying their Purchase realities, clothing purchase behaviors. and clothing purchase attitudes when they use internet shopping mall. The questionaires were distributed to middle and high school students in Seoul, Daegu, Kyunggi, Chungbuk, Chungnam, Kyungbuk, and Kyungnam November, 2004. The followings are the results of this study. First, clothing items which were bought in internet shopping malls were shirts. shoes, pants, bags in order and they were below $20,000\~30,000$ won. Main payment method used was sending money to seller's account. Second, clothing purchase satisfaction degree was comparatively high but the satisfaction degree for the compensation policy was low. If they had any claims for the products. they were likely to behave more actively than passively. Third. returned items were shirts, pants, shoes in order which are the same as purchasing items and they were due to the size and the difference between the products recognised by computer screen and the real products. The $89.0\%$ of the subjects who have purchased clothing through internet expressed high intention to purchase in the future through internet. Forth the degree of attitude toward the internet shopping concerned with clothing purchase was high in the factor of 'convenience of shopping', especially they thought that the purchase through internet had the advantage of varieties and prices. The significant differences were found (1) in the experience of purchase and clothing purchase through internet according to their regions. school years, allowances per month, (2) in the purchased items through internet according to only their sexes, and (3) in the desired Purchase items through internet according to school years, their sexes. regions. The more frequently the middle and high school students use internet, the more goods they purchase through internet, especially the portion of the purchased clothing is getting bigger year by year. This suggests that we need to develope well-organized programs to teach good consumer's attitude to the middle and high school students when they purchase through internet.

  • This study aims to provide quite recent information on the organic agriculture in developed countries such as German, UK, Switzerland and USA and on the current activities of international research institutions of organic agriculture. The establishment and activity of ENOF in EU and ARNOA in Asia, IIRNOA in IFOAM was introduced shortly. I stitute of Organic Agriculture in FAL/Germany and FiBL in Switzerland. OMRI in USA, HDRA in UK and Schweisfurth Foundation in Germany were described. Also the educations in European universities for organic agriculture and the research activities and technical education system for organic farming were described. All of these informations could be useful for the further development of the strategy for Korean organic agriculture in education and research.

  • This paper suggests remote experiments using the internet for the control education. The remote experiment is composed of equipment server computers, networks accessible to internet, and real plants such as inverted pendulums, crane systems and microcontrollers. Additionally, it requires a server program that has I/O functions with plants and calculate the control, an interface program bridging between web and the server program, and the home page including the detail explanation for the usage. For effective educations, how to perform experiments and how to combine the experiment with lectures will be discussed. The simple experiments by entering a few control parameters and the complex experiments by designing overall controls, will be explained. Technologies related with the remote experiment and other possible remote experiment will be introduced. It is demonstrated that the remote experiment will be very useful, particular for control education where students have difficulties in performing the experiments for lack of experimental equipments.

  • The importance of e-Learning, which supports to study anywhere and anytime, has been pointed out for improving education. There have been various research papers on e-Learning system for educations. Most of literatures have focused on guiding the student or measuring understanding their level etc. Design method of e-Learning system has not been discussed based on structure and analysis of the class. In this paper, scheme of the class is proposed by analyzing and structuring class, then design method of e-Learning system is discussed based on it.

  • There are several theories to say that 'Mathematics is beautiful', but the typical one of them is a theory about the golden ratio. Often the golden ratio apt to be considered only as the geometric shapes or the simple number of ratio used in buildings and arts. However in this paper, we studied to consider the mathematical theories which are contained in their inside. In particular, we investigate the various expressions of the continued fraction which are represented by the golden ratio.

  • This paper examines a historical case- the French Revolution- of conceptual change in mathematics. The case that is a space of possibility gave birth to a new community of mathematical practitioners. Carnot and Monge shared the particular conceptions of the problems, aims, and methods of a field and contributed to found Ecole Polytechnique. I intend to show how Carnot's and Monge's mathematical endeavours responded to social, political and technological developments in French society.

  • The TOC/DBR and Six Sigma are the most attention-getting concepts for managing manufacturing companies in Korea. Using the ideas and methods of the TOC/DBR, companies can achieve a large reduction of work-in-process and finished-good inventories, significant improvement in scheduling performance, and substantial earnings increase. The Six Sigma approach derives the overall process of selecting the right projects based on their potential to improve performance metrics and selecting/training the right people to get the business results. These two concepts have different backgrounds and different viewpoints for production systems. So, if the two concepts collaborate each other, the synergy effects to innovate production systems can be expected. This paper proposes a new approach to implement the TOC/DBR concepts in production systems. This approach uses some concepts of Six Sigma which stresses educations, project approaches (step by step procedure using a Roadmap), and improvement philosophy.

  • The questionnaires were sent to 49 participators of Research Contest in Science Education(RCSE) in 1993. Seventeen participators responded to the questionnaire about RCSE consists of 19 questions and have seven categories such as announcement, process and result, selection of topics and research methods, writing paper, meaning of the contest and planning and processing. The results are as follows : 1) Many participators aware the contest before two to four weeks from the beginning of contest from not only official note but also pamphlet or mass media. 2) Participators require to announce the results of contest to all the participators and to increase awards according to the majors and levels. Most of participators agree to give study points to the awards. 3) Some responders prefer to select the topics from the two types, free topics and assignable topics and the others prefer assignable topics. 4) Most of responders perceive the RCSE contributes to improving school science education, encouraging science teacher's research and developing science educations.
