머신러닝을 이용한 이러닝 학습자 집중도 평가 연구 (A Study on Evaluation of e-learners' Concentration by using Machine Learning)

  • Recently, e-learning has been attracting significant attention due to COVID-19. However, while e-learning has many advantages, it has disadvantages as well. One of the main disadvantages of e-learning is that it is difficult for teachers to continuously and systematically monitor learners. Although services such as personalized e-learning are provided to compensate for the shortcoming, systematic monitoring of learners' concentration is insufficient. This study suggests a method to evaluate the learner's concentration by applying machine learning techniques. In this study, emotion and gaze data were extracted from 184 videos of 92 participants. First, the learners' concentration was labeled by experts. Then, statistical-based status indicators were preprocessed from the data. Random Forests (RF), Support Vector Machines (SVMs), Multilayer Perceptron (MLP), and an ensemble model have been used in the experiment. Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) has also been used for comparison. As a result, it was possible to predict e-learners' concentration with an accuracy of 90.54%. This study is expected to improve learners' immersion by providing a customized educational curriculum according to the learner's concentration level.

Estimation of Automatic Video Captioning in Real Applications using Machine Learning Techniques and Convolutional Neural Network

  • The prompt development in the field of video is the outbreak of online services which replaces the television media within a shorter period in gaining popularity. The online videos are encouraged more in use due to the captions displayed along with the scenes for better understandability. Not only entertainment media but other marketing companies and organizations are utilizing videos along with captions for their product promotions. The need for captions is enabled for its usage in many ways for hearing impaired and non-native people. Research is continued in an automatic display of the appropriate messages for the videos uploaded in shows, movies, educational videos, online classes, websites, etc. This paper focuses on two concerns namely the first part dealing with the machine learning method for preprocessing the videos into frames and resizing, the resized frames are classified into multiple actions after feature extraction. For the feature extraction statistical method, GLCM and Hu moments are used. The second part deals with the deep learning method where the CNN architecture is used to acquire the results. Finally both the results are compared to find the best accuracy where CNN proves to give top accuracy of 96.10% in classification.

Effects of Application of Social Marketing Theory and the Health Belief Model in Promoting Cervical Cancer Screening among Targeted Women in Sisaket Province, Thailand

  • Cervical cancer is a major public health problem in Thailand, being ranked second only to breast cancer. Thai women have been reported to have a low rate of cervical cancer screening (27.7% of the 80% goal of WHO). We therefore aimed to apply the social marketing theory and health belief model in promoting cervical cancer screening in Kanthararom District, Sisaket Province. A total of 92 from 974 targeted women aged 30-60 years were randomly divided into two groups. The experimental group underwent application of social marketing theory and a health belief model program promoting cervical cancer screening while the control group received normal services. Two research tools were used: (1) application of social marketing theory and health belief model program and (2) questionnaire used to evaluate perceptions of cervical cancer. Descriptive and inferential statistics including paired sample t-test and independent t-test were used to analyze the data. After the program had been used, the mean score of perception of cervical cancer of experimental group was at a higher level (${\bar{x}}=4.09$; S.D.=0.30), than in the control group (${\bar{x}}=3.82$; S.D.=0.20) with statistical significance (p<0.001). This research demonstrated an appropriate communication process in behavioral modification to prevent cervical cancer. It can be recommended that this program featuring social marketing and the health belief model be used to promote cervical cancer screening in targeted women and it can be promoted as a guideline for other health services, especially in health promotion and disease prevention.

동화책을 활용한 심폐소생술 교육이 유치원생의 심정지 인지 및 구조요청 능력에 미치는 효과 (The effect of fairy-tale based cardiopulmonary resuscitation education on cardiac arrest recognition and EMS activation abilities in kindergarten children)

  • Purpose: Education for children in South Korea is similar to that for adults, necessitating additional enhancements. Therefore, this study aimed to examine the effectiveness of fairy-tale books in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) education among kindergarten children. Methods: The study involved 64 kindergarten children enrolled in an affiliated kindergarten program were included. The participants were divided into an experimental group of 32 who received CPR education using picture books, and a control group of 32 who received education through traditional methods. Participant characteristics such as sex, age, height, weight, cardiac arrest awareness, and ability to request assistance were measured, and the collected data were statistically analyzed. Results: Following education, the experimental group showed significantly higher scores than the control group across all measures, including cardiac arrest recognition (2.25 vs. 0.34, p<.001) and consciousness assessment (1.81 vs. 0.09, p<.001). Additionally, in requesting assistance, the experimental group exhibited statistical superiority in phone usage (1.75 vs. 0.28, p<.001), situational explanation post-call (2.25 vs. 0.34, p<.001), and self-location explanation (0.84 vs. 0.00, p=.001). Conclusion: The use of fairy-tale books in CPR education enhanced cardiac arrest recognition and the ability to request assistance (EMS Activation) more effectively than the traditional educational methods among kindergarten children.

고객체험특성이 지각된 가치와 재방문 의도에 미치는 영향: 가전 오프라인 매장을 중심으로 (Impact of customer experience characteristics on perceived value and revisit intention: Focusing on offline home appliance stores)

  • 본 연구는 가전 오프라인 매장에서의 고객체험특성이 지각된 가치와 재방문 의도에 영향을 미치는 영향관계에 대해 연구하였다. 전국 매장을 100여개 이상 보유한 가전 오프라인 유통 중에서 가전 양판점 2개(하이마트, 전자랜드), 대형마트 3개(이마트, 홈플러스, 롯데하이마트), 가전 전문점 2개(LG 베스트샵, 삼성 디지털프라자)를 선정하였으며, 해당 가전 매장을 최근 6개월 내 방문하여 구매한 경험이 있는 서울, 경기, 인천지역의 20대 이상 남녀를 대상으로 설문 조사를 진행하였다. 조사 결과 총 330부의 표본에 대해서 PLS(Partial Least Squares) 구조방정식과 SPSS 통계패키지를 이용하여서 통계 분석을 진행하였다. 본 연구를 통해 다음과 같은 연구결과를 얻을 수 있다. 가전 오프라인 매장에서 고객체험특성이 소비자의 기능적 가치에 미치는 영향을 분석한 결과, 첫째, 교육적 경험, 일탈적 경험과 심미적 경험은 기능적 가치에 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤다. 하지만 오락적 경험은 기능적 가치에 영향을 미치지 못했다. 둘째, 교육적 경험, 일탈적 경험과 심미적 경험은 모두 감정적 가치에 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤다. 셋째, 기능적 가치와 감각적 가치는 모두 재방문 의도에 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤다. 네째, 브랜드 충성도는 기능적 가치, 감각적 가치의 재방문 의도 사이에서의 조절효과를 갖지 못한 것으로 확인하였다. 이 연구 결과는 고객체험 특성과 지각된 가치(기능적 가치, 감각적 가치), 재방문 의도 간의 구조적 관계를 보여주고 있다. 본 결과는 온라인 채널이 오프라인 채널의 생존을 위협하는 시기에 가전 오프라인 매장들이 어떤 활동을 해야 하는지에 대한 가이드라인을 제공해 준다.

청소년기의 건강증진과 학교보건교육의 발전방향 (Adolescent Health Promotion and Development of School Health Education)

  • Adolescent health is considered to contribute to health promotion in the home and community in the near future as well as individual health. However, adolescent health has been neglected from education field because of competitive school education focused on the university entrance examination That's why I suggest in this study that we should pay much more attention to adolescent health condition and try to make It better, in terms of man-power development and life-health promotion for nation development The purposes of this study are as follows First, to look into a variety of adolescent health problems Second, to find out the situation and problems of current adolescent health promotion and school health education Third, to make an effort to find, based on the current situation, various developments of adolescent health promotion and school health education in terms of practical, political and environmental change There are used study methods as adolescent-related, school heath-related literature review and anlysis of statistical data The results and suggestions are as follows Teenagers have a great variey of health problems including most Important physical, mental and social developments Recently, chronic diseases, emotional problems, health-risk behaviors linked With adolescents are on increase The complicated disorders of physical, mental, social health rather than paricular aspects of health or health-behavior problems influence adolescent health problems adolescence is regarded as the period when most health-related behaviors are formed. Therefore, adolescent health promotion would he assured by developing the ability of controlling multi-dimensional health determinants in the early stage. Health promotion is a positive concept that each individual, family and community makes real efforts to improve their health To achive this, we need health educational, organizational, political and environmental supports. Adolescent health promotion in Korea has been systematically treated in the category of school health Current school health services have had lots of systemic, constitutional, administrative and educational flaws Accordingly, I'm concerned that we can afford to accept a variety of adolescent health needs However, I would say that if were not to make those flaws better, it's certain that Korean national competitive power and the quality of the lives of most Koreans Will he threatened someday We have to develop Comprehensive School Health Crriculum(CSHC) and set up its standards to Improve adolescent health. CSHC is an organizational and costant process. CSHC means an Important part of overall curriculums. In addition, I could say that it's an Important school health education acivity including current school health services-health care service and school health environment. In conclusion, in order to develop CSHC, we require school nurse's role changes, establishment and management of intergrated subject of health education, striking revision of school health law(or legislation of school health promotion law), reorganization of administration system, big changes in curriculum for school health educators.

노인의 복지인식이 사회서비스 이용과 사회복지정책 만족도에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Welfare Recognition on the Utilization of Social Services and the Satisfaction of Social Welfare Policies for the Elderly)

  • 본 연구는 고령층의 사회복지서비스 이용과 사회복지정책 만족도에 주목하여 고령자의 사회복지 인식이 사회복지서비스와 사회복지정책만족도에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 분석 하였다. 이러한 연구목적을 달성하기 위해 한국보건사회연구원과 서울대학교 사회복지연구소에서 조사하여 축적하고 있는 한국복지패널 자료를 근거로, 가구용, 가구원용, 복지인식 부가조사용을 결합한 머지데이터(merge data)를 활용하여 부가조사에 응답을 완료한 60세 이상 465명을 연구대상으로 자료를 수집하여 분석하였다. 본 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, "노인복지 인식(복지지출 인식, 복지대상 인식, 복지증세 인식)"은 "사회서비스 이용"에 부(-)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, "노인복지 인식(복지지출 인식, 복지대상 인식, 복지증세 인식)"은 "사회복지정책 만족도"에 부(-)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, "인구통계학적 특성(교육수준, 소득수준, 학력, 성별)"에 따라 노인복지인식이 사회서비스이용에 미치는 영향은 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, "인구통계학적 특성(교육수준, 소득수준, 학력, 성별)"에 따라 노인복지인식이 사회복지정책 만족도에 미치는 영향은 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 시사점은 다차원적인 복지인식과 사회서비스 이용경험을 사회복지정책 만족도의 영향요인으로 함께 살펴보았다는 점에 있다. 즉, 사회복지정책만족도의 영향요인으로 개인의 가치와 주관적 인식을 바탕으로 형성되는 복지인식에 주목하였으며, 고령자의 복지인식과 사회복지정책만족도의 관계에서 사회서비스 이용경험이 사회복지정책만족도에 도움이 되고 있는지 살펴봄으로써 복지정책과 복지현장의 실천적 대안을 모색하였다는데 의미가 있다.

전문계 고등학교 의상과 교육과정에서의 교육목표 및 내용에 관한 연구 (The Changes and Present Status of Education in Clothing Departments at Vocational High Schools)

  • This research investigates the historical changes of the educational system for the clothing departments at vocational high schools. According to the growth of the fashion industry, employment potential in the clothing departments of the vocational high schools, numerical changes in the educational statistics, and curriculums were investigated by papers, reports, and statistic data. The statistic data were derived from the 'Center Educational Statistics and Information', 'School Information' (Hak-gyo Alimi), 'Korean Statistical Information Services' and internet home pages of vocational high schools. Technical service workers that graduate from clothing departments and vocational high schools have limited competitiveness in a thriving fashion industry field. Highly developed fashion industries require more professional workers in fashion design, fashion marketing, and fashion materials. Compared to 1994, when 35 classes were conducted in 5 vocational high schools, 69 classes are now conducted at 15 schools. They have over 2,000 students and produce over 600 graduates. However, 222 credits of the $1^{st}$ curriculum in 1958 went down to 82 credits in the 2007 revised curriculum to complete the credits of clothing departments. The 15 courses of the 1st curriculum fell to 5 courses in the 2007 revised curriculum on the number of major subjects. It is a fundamental problem that major courses in clothing education have been excessively reduced despite the demand for of highly specialized workers in the fashion industry. In the view of operating conditions of those schools, there were several problems such as the wide gaps in the curriculum, limited equipment, the supply of teachers, and counseling on the choice of college or a career. In conclusion, the following measures are required: 1) the increase of complement credits in major subjects and renovation of curriculum, 2) national substantial support to change the social circumstance concerning vocational education and occupational consciousness, 3) operation of credit approving systems in universities and colleges for students that have completed the same courses at vocational high schools, 4) designing realistic programs for vocational education and cooperation systems with corporate enterprises.

근로자의 산업보건관리에 대한 지식, 태도, 실천 조사연구 -광주, 전남지역- (A Study on the Knowledge, Attitude and Practice about Industrial Health Care Services of workers -Kwang-ju City and Chonnam Province-)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the degree and the relationship of the Knowledge, Attitude and Practice of industrial health care services of workers. This information will provide useful data for an effective industrial health care service. The was collected from 600 data employees in Kwang-ju city & Chonnam province. The data was gathered by questionnaire from Dec 20, 1992 to Jan 20, 1993. The questionnaire was developed by the Academic Affairs of Community Health Nursing Academy. Data was analyzed by using the statistical computer package, SPSS to manipulate the data along with percentages, means, standard deviations, modes, t-test and ANOVA. The results in this study were summarized as follows: 1. General characteristics of workers: Distributions of workers was laborer(76.2%). in the 25-34 age group(50.2%), married(63.3%), males comprised(77.5%), the educational level with the highest percentage was high school graduates (71.1%), with a monthly income of 300-700 thousand won(43.8%), and has been working in the present career over seven years (31.5%). 2. The Knowledge, Attitude and Practice levels of employees about industrial health care services The levels were measured according to a five point scale. The total mean score of knowledge was 2.92 points out of 4. The following are the scores of Knowledge of special medical examination and location of industrial clinic(3.48), periodic medical examination (3.18), occupational disease(3.08), personal protective equipment (2.92), and health education(1.37). The total mean score of Attitude was 2.77 point out of 4. The following are the scores of Attitude in order of working environment (3.35), necessity of periodic medical examination and health education(3.15), the worker's perception influence on the working environment to health was high(3.11). But, the level of satisfaction in the content of periodic medical examination was low(2.19). The total mean score of Practice was 2.70 points out of 4. The scores of Practice in order were, practice of periodic medical examination(3.70), utilization of industrial clinic(2.92), and to participate in health education(1.47). 3. The relationship of general characteristics to Knowledge, Attitude, and Practice of workers: Knowledge had a significant difference by sex (P<.01), marital status(P<.01), education level (P<.05) and monthly income(P<.01). Attitude was significantly different with sex(P<.05) and Practice was significantly related to monthly income (P<.01).

창업보육센터 입주기업 CEO의 기업가정신 및 시장지향성이 경영성과에 미치는 영향: 창업기업의 지원서비스 활용정도 조절효과를 중심으로 (Impacts of Entrepreneurship and Market Orientation of Business Incubator CEO's on business performance: Focusing on Moderating effects of utilization level of BI Supporting Services)

  • 창업은 국가경제 활성화와 기술 산업화를 용이하게 하고, 지역경제의 활성화를 높여 그 중요성이 강조되고 있다. 특히 창업보육 시스템은 경제 활성화를 위한 정책의 일환으로 창업 초기기업의 성장을 위해 물리적 및 비물리적 서비스를 제공하며 초기기업들의 성장을 위해 많은 역할을 하고 있다. 본 연구는 서울에 위치한 창업보육센터 입주기업 CEO의 기업가정신 및 시장지향성이 경영성과에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 분석하고, 창업보육센터의 지원서비스가 경영성과에 어떠한 조절효과를 갖는지 살펴보았다. 이러한 연구의 검증을 위해 국내 BI협회에 등록이 되어있고 서울에 위치하고 있는 9개 창업보육센터 입주기업을 대상으로 온라인 및 오프라인 설문 320부를 배포하여 127부를 회수하였고, 이 중 불성실한 응답의 설문지를 제외한 117부를 통계분석에 활용하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 창업보육센터 입주기업 CEO의 기업가정신 하위변수인 혁신성, 진취성, 위험감수성 중 진취성이 경영성과의 재무적 성과와 비재무적 성과에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 시장 지향성의 하위변수인 고객지향성, 경쟁자 지향성, 협력지향성 중 경쟁자 지향성이 경영성과의 재무적 성과와 비재무적 성과에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 물리적 지원서비스 활용정도는 진취성과 재무적 성과간의 조절작용을 하고, 진취성과 비재무적 성과에 조절작용을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로, 시장지향성과 경영성과 간의 관계에서 비물리적 지원서비스 활용정도가 협력지향성과 재무적 성과간의 조절작용을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 진취적인 성향을 가지고 있는 창업보육센터 입주기업 CEO에게 사무지원, 마케팅 지원, 입주기업 간의 네트워크 구축, 교육, 법률, 회계, 세무 등 비물리적 지원서비스를 제공해준다면 고용증가, 종업원의 업무 수행능력, 종업원의 만족도 등 비재무적성과가 더욱 향상될 것이라고 기대할 수 있다. 또한, 협력의 문화를 가진 기업이 사무지원, 마케팅 지원, 입주기업 간의 네트워크 구축, 교육, 법률, 회계, 세무 등 비물리적 지원서비스를 활용한다면, 기업의 매출 증대, 순이익 증가, 고객의 충성도 및 시장점유율이 더욱 향상될 것이라고 기대할 수 있겠다. 기존의 창업보육센터 관련 연구들은 주로 창업보육 매니저의 역량에 관한 연구를 중심으로 이루어지고 있으며, 입주기업의 지원서비스와 기업의 성과에 대한 연구가 부족하였는데 본 연구를 통해 향후 BI 입주기업의 성장과 자생력을 높일 수 있는 기초 자료로 활용 가능하리라 기대한다.
