The National Assessment of Educational Achievement has been conducted in the form of sampling assessment until 2007, but it was converted into sampling assessment one hundred percent working with relevant whole students in 2008. Therefore, the necessity of new study on the national assessment system of educational achievement was on the rise. The National Assessment System of Educational Achievement, which was implemented in this thesis was designed to analyze educational achievement status all over the province, total score and score frequency distribution per subject, item difficulty and item discrimination, degree of attraction of wrong answers, educational achievement per subject, gender, region, office of education, school, individual and status of students with high educational achievement.

According to the self-assessment tool identifying teacher's competence in assessment, many teachers have difficulty in making assessment tools. This study analyzes the types of modification with data of NAEA(National Assessment of Educational Achievement) items from 2006 to 2008. NAEA goes through complicated formalities from begin to make draft items to completing them. This study shows the types of item modification and its specific examples. NAEA analyzes the degrees of studuents' achievement according to the educational objectives of the National Curriculum. This study provides specific comments on making mathematics assessment items to the teachers who embody national curriculem. Therefore this study will contribute to improve mathematics teacher's professional competence in the area of assessment tool development.

The purpose of this study is to define the altenative assessment and to suggest the method of scoring system. Alternative assessment includes any type of assessment in which student create reponses to a question rather than choosing a responses form given list( as for multiple choice, true/false, or matching). Alternative assessment can includes short answer questions, essay, performances, oral presentation, demonstrations, exhibitions, portfolios, and etc. To evaluate the each type of assessment, we can apply the method of holistic scoring and analytic scoring system. Also we have to concern the type of scoring mechanism directly relate to what we want to assess, our purpose for assessment fitting into the educational enterprise. Before applying the alternative assessment in our classroom, we need to step back and reconsider all our design features and teachers' responsibility.

The program educational objectives(PEO) are defined as the goals that students should achieve in 3~4 years after graduation. Assessment tools for evaluating program educational objectives might be different for every program. In this paper, we developed and proposed assessment tools which include not only direct assessments through the present study but also indirect assessment through question rubrics. With the proposed assessment tools, we conduct a mimic evaluation for graduates and their employers in order to evaluate the degree of achievement of each PEO.

Performance assessment is one of the authentic assessment method that are consistent with new curriculum goal, concentrated on the process rather than the results of problem solving. But the key to good assessment is matching the assessment task to intended objectives. Based on the review of literatures, the current performance assessment task was critically analysed. As a result, this study developed appropriate model and criteria of performance assessment task to elementary mathematics.

Objectives: Medical schools are trying to improve the quality of medical education by offering students better medical curriculum. In this study, we intend to provide basic information for improvement and development of medical curriculum by analyzing the medical curriculum of domestic and foreign medical schools. Methods: Based on various materials, we selected out 5 domestic medical schools and 11 foreign medical schools and collected materials relevant to medical curriculum of each medical school. Then, we divided collected materials into four domains(educational objectives, educational contents, educational assessment, and curriculum implementation), and analyzed them synthetically. Results and Conclusion: First, concerning the educational objectives, it is necessary that more various educational objectives are included to medical curriculum. Especially, there is a growing need for medical curriculum reflecting social responsibility and requests of local community. Second, educational contents should be constantly improved and constructed considering students' academic achievement levels and traits. Third, not only students but also educational program, educational contents, and professors should be included to the objects of educational assessment. Also, various assessment methods should be developed. Finally, especially for domestic medical schools, it is necessary to make use of more educational specialists in medical education.

The purpose of the National Assessment of Educational Achievement(NAEA) is not only to assess educational progress and achievement but also to collect background information affecting educational achievement. It is important to know which factors affect the National Assessment of Educational Achievement(NAEA) and to explore how much those factors show the educational effect. In this study, first, we examined general characteristics of the survey with relation to the background information. Second, we analyzed the relationships between test scores and information on the students' profile such as background, extracurricular activities, and information on the school profile in NAEA 2004. Third, we suggested some educational policies on the basis of those analysis and indicated the limitation of this study.

The purpose of this research is to know the teachers and parents' perception on the National Assessment of Educational Achievement system that has been conducted since 2008 and to obtain the implementation on the National Assessment of Educational Achievement. For this purpose, total of 1,000 questionnaires were distributed to 500 elementary school teachers and 500 parents in Busan, and 766 of the analysis of survey results follows excluding the retrieved and insincerity responses. First, the national assessment showed negative perception from the teachers, whereas the parents were generally positive and the method to reduce the gap of perception is needed. Second, it has to be improved after collecting opinions of a teacher and parents of students for improvement on the National Assessment of Education Achievement and reviewing enough the potential problems in the context of education in Korea and school.

This study analyzed National Assessment of Educational Achievement items surveying to sixth-year student in elementary school utilizing three dimentional scientific assessment framework. Study's findings are as following. Science contents territory of national level study achievements estimation were set a problem energy, substance, life, earth relatively evenly. Action territory was set a problem most 'Comprehension' territory. In the case of science situation area, 'Purity scientific situation' among 5 category appeared the most.

These days, good-quality multimedia educational data are exceedingly needed for ICT(Information and Communication Technology)-based instruction in elementary and secondary schools. In order to produce high quality multimedia educational data, it is important to design a series of development process and conduct a coherent examination. This paper presents a process of developing multimedia educational data and provides systematic assessment standards with respect to each step in which an evaluation is required. The step-by-step assessment standards may serve as a guideline in managing and monitoring the entire developmental process of multimedia educational data.
