XML은 다양한 분야에서 널리 사용되고 있지만, 일반 사용자가 XML 문서를 작성하기란 아직 많은 어려움이 있다. 본 논문에서는 일반 사용자도 손쉽게 XML 문서를 작성할 수 있는 XML 구문지향 편집기를 소개하고, 구문지향 편집기의 내부 자료구조인 추상구문을 정의하고, 정의된 추상구문 규칙으로 문서를 편집하기 위한 편집기의 구성요소를 설명한다. 또한 DTD로부터 추상구문 규칙을 자동 생성하는 방법을 제시함으로써 더욱 빠르고 정확하게 XML 구문지향 편집기를 생성하는 방안을 제안한다. 추상구문의 구조와 구문지향 편집기의 작성 절차를 통하여 더욱 용이하게 XML 구문지향 편집기 생성이 가능하다.

Eclipse를 기반으로 하는 통합Tool에 필요한 Graphical Editor는 다른 방법론을 사용하지 않고 직접 구현할 경우 시간이 많이 소요될 수 있으나 저수준에서 출발하기 때문에 유연성 있고 지속적인 기능 추가에 이점이 있어 계속 고쳐나가야 하는 통합Tool 개발에 적합하다. Text 기반의 Editing에 집중된 Eclipse의 Platform API를 이용하여 Editor Class가 제공하는 기능들에 대응되는 기능들을 Graphic기반의 Editor Class에서 개발하는 방법을 제시한다. 이를 통해 통합Tool에 필요한 Graphical Editor Plug-in을 손쉽게 개발할 수 있다.

XML은 점차 널리 사용되고 있지만, 일반 사용자가 편집기를 이용해서 XML 문서를 작성하기에는 아직 많은 어려움이 있다. XML 문서 중에서 상당 부분은 정형화된 데이타를 처리하기 위한 데이터 중심 XML 문서이며, 이러한 형태의 문서인 경우에 초보자도 폼(form) 형태의 GUI를 이용해서 쉽게 작성할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 데이타 중심 XML 문서에 대해서 모델 기반으로 폼 형태의 XML 편집기를 자동적으로 생성할 수 있는 방법과 편집기 생성기인 XED를 소개한다. XML 문서의 DTD는 연속, 선택, 반복의 구조로 이루어져 있으며, 이러한 구조는 DDG (Document Decomposition Graph) 그래프로 표현될 수 있다. XED는 XML의 DDG에 사용자가 프리젠테이션 규칙을 적용함으로써 XML 편집기를 자동적으로 생성할 수 있고, 사용자가 생성된 편집기의 레이아웃과 GUI 속성을 직접 조작을 통해서 변경할 수 있는 방법을 제공한다.

The success of Wikipedia is due to the large number of volunteers collaborating to provide content to Wikipedia articles. In this paper, we study the effect of network position on the promotion of an article to a featured article. We focus on the edits of featured Wikipedia articles to study the effects of the centrality of editors and centrality of articles on the promotion of featured articles. Considering the editing precedence among editors within an article, editor collaboration networks for a single article are generated using the total English-written featured articles on Wikipedia. In addition, based on the affiliation network of editors and articles, an article-to-article network and an editor-to-editor collaboration network are constructed. Based on the investigation of the networks, we find that article centrality in an article-to-article network has a negative effect on the promotion of an article, and editor centrality in an article-to-article networks has a positive effect on promotion. In addition, editor centrality in an editor-to-editor network has a negative effect on promotion. Some theoretical and managerial implications are provided in view of these results.

In this paper, a knowledge base editor is presented as a supporting environment for an expert system building tool, OPS5. The knowledge base editor is especially useful for the fast and easy development of a knowledge base when the OPS5 production language is used. This knowledge base editor has some special facilities such as syntax and type checking, rule browsing and automatic bokkeeping. The syntax and type checking provides the facilities to find syntax and type errors in an edited knowledge base, respectively. The rule browsing facility offers various pattern matching schemes to see the causes and effects of a concerned rule. Automatic bookkeeping keeps the updated date and user name of a rule for the later reference whenever a user adds or changes a rule.

The paper presents the motion editor for the robotic movement in the study. The Motion Editor can edit all motions which we want to need. This method is easy when the beginners edit to motions of robots. And let them have interesting in robot control. This paper proposes two methods to edit movements. First, we edit the robot's movement in VB environment, and then we use the Motion Editor to make it. Finally, we compared merit and defect with two methods. Indeed, it is convenient when we use the Motion Editor.

XML은 다양한 분야에서 표준 문서를 위한 마크업 언어로서 사용되기 때문에, XML 문서들을 쉽게 작성하고 문서의 스타일을 표현하는 XML 편집 도구가 요구된다. 이에따라 여러 회사들이 XML 편집 도구들을 개발하고 제품으로서 출시하고 있다. 하지만 초보자들은 이런 도구들을 이용하여 XML 문서를 작성하기 어렵다. 이 논문에서는 초보자들도 쉽게 사용할 수 있는 WYSIWYG 기반의 XML 편집기를 설계하고 구현한다. 구현한 XML 편집기는 모든 초보자들이 쉽게 XML 문서와 스타일 문서를 작성할 수 있다. 또한 구현한 XML 편집기와 본 연구실에서 자체적으로 개발한 XML 저장시스템을 연동한다.

Authors, editors and reviewers, publishers, and subscribers all play their role in scientific journals. These 5 stakeholders are essential to journals. In this paper, firstly, I briefly summarize the role of each journal stakeholder and their respective goals. Secondly, the status of each participant in the Archives of Plastic Surgery is described. Finally, I propose an appropriate role and plan for each of them. Specific roles and responsibilities include the following: subscribers should welcome and submit the critiques of published papers in letters to the editor. Publishers should trust editors and provide them with adequate financial support for ongoing quality improvement of the journal. The editor-in-chief should be given a sufficient period of time-several years-to build up journal quality and train the incoming editor. The editors, including section editors, are also responsible for increasing the author pool. One editor might be designated a 'devil's referee', that is, a kind of devil's advocate with the responsibility of examining the originality of the manuscript, taking a skeptical view of the manuscript, and looking for holes in the methods and results of reported experiments. Authors' responsibilities include submitting manuscripts with scientific integrity and being ready to take responsibility for their articles even long after publication. Finally, reviewers' responsibilities include identifying similar articles not cited. Reviewers are also welcome to write a discussion on the article they review.

본 논문은 이 기종 문서처리 시스템간에 문서교환을 위해 국제 표준으로 재정된 ODA에 따른 문서 클래스(class) 에디터 설계 및 구현에 대하여 기술하였다. ODA에서처럼 문서구조를 공통 논리구조와 배치구조로 분리하여 처리하였으며, 문서 프로화일을 작성 할 수 있도록 설계하였다. 문서가 정확하게 작성되었는지를 객체(object) 단위로 확인할 수 있는 유틸리티(utility)를 구현하였다. 또한 그 문서의 ODIF 스트림(stream) 데이타가 정확한지를 확인하였다. 본 에디터는 국제 문서 응용 프로화일 (DAP : Document Application Profile)인 DAP 단계 2의 제안에 따라 설계하였으며, UNIX 운영체제의 SUN 워크스테이션상에서 이식성이 좋고 일관된 사용자 인터페이스(interface)를 제공하는 X 윈도우 및 Motif 환경하에서 구현하였다. 본 연구를 통하여 구현된 에디터는 특정 문서구조를 갖는 실제 ODA 문서를 작성시 이용될 수 있다.
