철도차량기지내에서의 경제성을 고려한 접지설계에 관한 연구 (A study of grounding system design with economical efficiency in electric rolling stocks facilities)

  • Recently, there have been studied the importance of the grounding system, as electrical equipments installed in the building, such as intelligent building. The object of grounding of electrical facilities is to protect human and machine damage from the power supply interruption high voltage by use of the accident current dissipating into the ground. In this paper, we is proposed to design of grounding system with economical efficiency in electric rolling stocks facilities. To make efficient ground, ground potential rise must be controlled in the way of overall lowering and evenness instead of independent grounding method with respect to electrical facilities.

  • Since Kyung-Bu High Speed Line has been introduced, a railway electrification has been proceeded rapidly. Therefore, in this study, a specification and application standard for an overhead catenary supporting thin walled steel pole using STKT590 material are proposed in order to improve an economical efficiency. To decide the specification, strength analysis, deflection analysis, deflection test and fracture test are performed. If the supporting structures using high strength materials such as STKT590 are installed, the advantages of cost by the materials price reduction and demand and supply are expected.

  • This study presents an algorithm to select the best alternative plane among various bridge superstructure types (Steel box girder, Rational girder, PSC-I girder) using Value Engineering (VE). Economical efficiency, landscape, constructability, maintenance, stability, function of bridge superstructure were taken into consideration in the designing of bridge. Economical efficiency was evaluated for each alternative plan with optimal design considering Life Cycle Cost (LCC), Repair and rehabilitation histories and some factors were set to get reasonable results. In the application of Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), consistency of Pairwise Comparisons Matrix was evaluated and the best plan was determined.

  • Nowadays, the necessity of linear position control motors have been increased in the various fields of the automatic control system. In the recently, the position control motor have disadvantaged in the efficiency and economical view since it require a conversion equipments such as belt and gear in order to convert rotary to linear motion. On the contrary, the hybrid linear stepping motor(HLSM) of linear motion digital actuator has a direct drive method that do not need mechanical conversion equipments. Therefore, the HLSM is better advantaged in the efficiency and economical view than a rotary stepping motor. In this paper, we have designed an optimum tooth shape and a permanent magnet value between the mover teeth by the 2D finite element method(FEM) to develop the HLSM with longitudinal flux machine(LFM) type, and calculated the thrust force and normal force. And we have manufactured the prototype of it. and have experimented the thrust force and the dynamic thrust characteristics of it.

  • Prestressed concrete girder(PSC girder) bridges have been used widely at the railway as well as highway because they are great in the functional and economical efficiency. Also they have the advantage of convenience of design and construction. Generally, the PSC girder railway bridges with span length 25m are adopted in the country and it could be easily verified that the section of PSC girder using railway bridge is excessive design, which has much redundancy against design loads. Thus, in this paper the optimum design for PSC girder railway bridge with span length 30m is performed. And from the results of analysis it is suggested to denote the optimum section which satisfies the structural safety and economical efficiency all together.

  • In recent railroad markets, the use of steel sleepers is gradually increased due to various advantages in resistance for impact as well as economical efficiency for production, construction. maintenance and recycle. The typical steel sleepers which are successfully used in railroad markets are n-type of Corus Inc. in England and Y-type of ThyssenKrupp Gft Gleistechnik in Germany. Both types have merits and demerits in safety and economical efficiency. In 1990, n-type steel sleeper was developed in Korea, but was failed in putting into practical use, due to the subsidence into the ballast by Jive loads and welding crack, etc.. In this paper, in order to develop optimal shape of n-type steel sleepers for domestic rail mads, parametric studies for cross section, thickness, are performed.

  • The recent summer power peak crisis has been caused by excessive use of cooling loads at daily peak time in summer. The yearly load shape of KEPCO has gradually became very steep valley. Under this situation, more efficient DSM(Demand Side Management) tools are fully required for summer peak clipping and shaving. In this paper, the KEPCO's Jeju-Do model project for DSM, especially for Demand Controller, is presented. Demand Controller was evaluated to have the very high economical efficiency against the investment in equipment, as compared with another DSM tools. There were some serious problem to apply Demand Controller to many customers in the aspect to synchronization with KEPCO's watthour meter. But these problems have solved by Keyin's new Demand Controller using vision algorithm.

국토해양부 표준발파패턴의 셰일암반 적용성에 관한 사례 연구 (Review of Applicability of the Standard Blasting Patterns of MLTM to Various Rock Types)

  • 우리나라는 산악지역이 70%이산 분포되어 있는 지형적 특성으로 인하여 굴착작업 시 발파작업은 필수사항으로 되어있으며, 발파작업이 이루어지는 곳에는 발파진동 소음으로 인한 민원이 부수적으로 발생하고 있다. 발파작업을 위해 경제성과 안정성, 시공성에 따라 발파패턴이 선정되어진다. 하지만 민원의 해결을 위한 공법의 무절제한 변경 등이 이루어지고 있는 일들이 발생되는 경우가 빈번하여 이를 방지하기 위해 국토해양부는 설계 및 시공에 대한 표준발파공법을 제시하였다. 그러나 국토해양부표준발파공법(2006년)은 암종에 상관없이 일괄적인 발파패턴으로 설계되어 있으므로 셰일암반 등과 같이 낮은 강도의 암반, 절리가 많이 포함되어 있는 암반에 적용한다고 할 때에 이들 암반의 특성이 고려되지 않은 상태에서 일괄적인 장약량 등의 발파제원에 따라서 경제적인 손실이 생길 수 있다고 생각되어진다. 따라서 이와 같은 셰일 및 응회암반에서 현지암반의 특성을 고려하여 공간격과 저항선의 길이를 조정한 발파제원을 적용하여 시험발파를 수행하여 어느 정도의 경제성 증대 가능성의 결과를 도출하였다. 이를 시작으로 좀더 많은 사례를 통한 정량적 결과를 도출하여 설계 및 시공에 적용한다면 경제성 향상을 기대할 수 있을 것이라 사료되어진다.

  • Thermodynamic and economic analysis on various type of gas turbine combined cycle power plants was presented to build up the criteria for optimization of power plants. The efficiency considered about energy level difference between electricity and heat was introduced. The efficiency on power and heat generation of power plants whose have different purpose was estimated and power generation costs on various type of combined heat and power plants : fired/unfired, condensing/non-condensing mode, single/double pressure HRSG.
