This Study investigated kindergarten parents' attitude, satisfaction and demand in the school meal service programs (SMSP). The subjects were 2450 parents that their child attended at kindergarten's SMSP from 16 provinces. To com-pared children's eating habits according to their parent age group and residence area, the percentage of regularly breakfast eating were lower in 'below 30 years old' group and large city residence than 'above 30 years old' group and middle and small city residence. And taking breakfast item was partially different pattern according parent age, 'below 30 years old' group and large city child ate more bread and milk as breakfast than Korean style breakfast with steamed rice and soup and side dish. In the prefer types of school meal service, most prefer types of meal service was fully meal service at kindergarten, $79.1\%$ subjects wanted this type. But 'below 30 years old' group's parent answered 'lunch box brings from home' ratio was higher than 'above 30 years old' group. Most parents accepted the present meal cost and $63.8\%$ of subjects was willing to pay more money to improve the quality of SMSP Twenty-six precent parents was responded that no improvement children's eating habit through SMSP. And they answered the key point of SMSP management was 'cooking sanitation'($65.1\%$) and 'nutrition' ($50.0\%$) and they answered the urgent improvement point at SMSP was 'Improvement taste and quality of meal' ($62.6\%$). Kindergarten parents' attitude about catering service as SMSP as not to prefer, but $10.4\%$ of subjects answered that catering service is ideal meal service type in kindergarten and they expected the advantage of catering service was 'convenience of foodservice'($40.7\%$) and 'support foodservice facilities and labor'($32.4\%$) and they also pointed out disadvantage was 'lower in meal freshness'($53.9\%$) and 'sanitation Problem'($51.9\%$).
Purpose : The purpose of this study is giving the healthy promotion and it's related data base for out-patients who had stroke via evaluating the general characters of their active daily living and physical therapy Method : This study researched 81 patients who had received physical therapy service in 6 general hospitals located Pusan city responded to the self-assessment questionnaires from July 2002 to August 2002. Conclusion : In this study, patients were composed of 61.7% of male, 65.4% of 50's-60's in the age, 56.8% of cerebral infarction, and 60.5% of right hemiplegia. 74.1% of patients received physical therapy after 6 months from an attack, only 62.9% used orthosis & gait aids, and 59.2% received medical care 2 or 3 times per week. 40.7% of patients had over 9 hours sleeping time and 22% had reduced $1{\sim}2hours$ before hospitalization. 90% did not have drinking and smoking. 91.4% had 3 times eating per day, and 67.7% did not have good nutrition. The reasons of that were their eating habit, 542% of eating-giver, 3.7% of economic problem. 46.9% of patients used healthy food. In active daily living, patients can't do drinking by cup, voiding & defication by themselves, however patients can't do wearing/take off, etiquette for dressing, bathing, stepping by themselves. 40.7% of patients don't wear orthosis, 55.6% of patients don't use W/C. Part of physical therapy that patients concerned importantly exercise for prevention of joint distortion, management of affected side, and 80% of patients was also concerned other's part, significantly. 71.8% of patients & care-givers want to receive physical therapy at home, and 74% of patients do physical therapy by themselves at home along teached hospitalization.
The purpose of this study was to identify affecting factors on health behaviors among university students. A cross-sectional study was conducted with a sample of 161 participants between May and June 2020. The authors assessed functional health literacy, health self-efficacy, and health behaviors. Mean score of functional health literacy and health self-efficacy was 10.14±1.39 and 3.96±0.60, respectively. Of the subjects, 9.9% were smokers, 23.0% were problem drinking, 96.9% were those who needed monitoring of their eating habits, 63.4% were those with low or moderate physical activity, and 29.8% were those who were overweight or obesity. Gender and functional health literacy had an effect on smoking and eating habits, respectively. Gender and health self-efficacy were affecting factors on physical activity. Researchers should be sought strategies to promote health behavior considering gender, functional health literacy and health self-efficacy.
Opisthorchis viverrini is an ongoing public health problem in Northeast Thailand. Despite continuous efforts for decades by healthcare organizations to overcome this problem, infection rates remain high. To enable related personnel to identify and address the various issues effectively, a cross-sectional study was performed to investigate prevalence and risk factors for opisthorchiasis. The target group was 3,916 Thai residents of Northeast Thailand who were 15 or over. Participants were recruited using the 30 clusters sampling technique. The data were gathered through questionnaires, focus group discussions, in-depth interviews, and stool examinations for parasite eggs (using the Modified Kato Katz method). The data were analyzed using descriptive and inference statistics; in order to ascertain the risk factors and test them using the odds ratio and multiple logistic regressions. The prevalence of opisthorchiasis was 22.7% (95%CI: 0.26 to 0.24). The province with the highest prevalence was Nakhorn Phanom (40.9%; female to male ratio =1:1.2). The age group with the highest prevalence was 40-49 year olds. All age groups had a prevalence >20%. Four of seven provinces had a prevalence >20%. The factors related to opisthorchiasis were (a) sex, (b) age (especially > 50), (c) proximity and duration living near a water body, and (d) eating raw and/or fermented fish. In order to reduce the prevalence of opisthorchiasis, the focus in populations living in upper Northeast Thailand should be changing their eating behaviors as appropriate to their tradition and context.

Objectives : If patients notice a symptom indicating inveterate dyspepsia but they don't have any problem around gastroscope, they get diagnosed as a functional dyspepsia or an imaginary stomach disease, but to overcome the limitations of these diagnoses, we are analyzing them for the common feature and are looking for a new diagnostics for them. Methods : Based on our survey with 122 patients with inveterate dyspepsia, we analyzed the period of onset, eating habits, the main symptoms, and observations on the gastroscope. We also analyzed the function of the stomach and intestines by EAV examinations, and the outer walls of the stomach and intestines by subdividing the level of coagulation into six with abdominal palpation. Results : We figured out that people who appeals about inveterate dyspepsia have had long period of onset, and that they had bad eating habits, shoulder stiffness, neck stiffness, headache, dizziness, etc. These are all the similar symptoms beside dyspepsia, which indicates that it is a syndrome. From about 70%, they didn't had particular problem in gastroscope, and as to be seen from the result of EAV examination, their stomachs and intestines had become functionless. Also, we were able to feel a stiffened tissue through abdominal palpation. Conclusion : Through this investigation, we found out that what the gastroscope can not find so that gets diagnosed as a functional dyspepsia or an imaginary stomach disease can be diagnosed as a syndrome called damjeok by overcoming the limitation utilizing the survey, EAV examinations, and abdominal palpation. We can find a mighty significance from the fact that it can be diagnosed as a syndrome.
This study aimed to investigate the dietary guidelines from the dietitians and parents' perceptions in kindergarten. The survey was carried out by 39 dietitians and 320 parents in kindergarten of Sejong city from April 18 to May 14, 2019. Approximately, 48.6% of dietitians responded that the amount of food provided was adjusted according to the age and weight of the infant. Both dietitians and parents responded the most to 'to build the right eating habits' as the reason for dietary guidance. As a guiding method for infants who sneaked unpleasant food, 62.9% of dietitians responded 'teach them about the wrong behavior on the spot', and 63.7% of parents stated 'talk about wrong behavior later'. The necessity of linking the dietary guidance between kindergarten and the family was recognized by dietitians and parents. The most important content for the linkage of the dietary guidance was 'correct eating manners and attitude'. The biggest problem in the dietitian's dietary guidance was the guidance on an unbalanced diet. Our results indicated differences in the dietary guidance contents of dietitians' and parents' perception of importance. Apparently, it is considered essential to link kindergarten with the family to provide correct and effective guidance for children.

Purpose: This study aimed to demonstrate correlations among self-regulated learning, attention control and Yangseng, to clarify any differences depending on general characteristics and ultimately to understand factors affecting self-regulated learning of undergraduates. Methods: Data were collected for a month from April 1st, 2011. A total of 438 undergraduate nursing students of two universities in Chungbuk and Chungnam were surveyed by using a questionnaire about self-regulated learning, attention control and Yangseng. Results: Self-regulated learning of the subjects showed statistically significant correlations with their attention control (r=.302, p=.001) and Yangseng (r=.292, p=.001). In addition, self-regulated learning could be explained by attention control (${\beta}$=3.648, p=.001), Yangseng (${\beta}$=3.645, p=.001), perceived academic achievement levels (${\beta}$=.124, p=.018), or eating breakfast (${\beta}$=.102, p=.027). In the model, the variables explained self-regulated learning by 19.0%. Conclusion: Nursing instructors should encourage undergraduate nursing students to enhance their attention control so that they can improve their self-regulated learning abilities, which will eventually develop their problem solving skills. In addition, it was shown that self-regulated learning correlates with yangseng including eating a regular breakfast. Maintaining a desirable lifestyle is also essential for students to succeed in self-regulated learning.
Obesity during childhood is a dominant risk factor for noncommunicable diseases (NCDs), and is itself considered a disease that needs to be treated. Recently, the growth in childhood obesity in Korea has become stagnant; however, two in every ten children are still overweight. In addition, 60% or more of overweight children have at least one metabolic syndrome risk factor. Thus, childhood obesity should be controlled through lifestyle modification. This paper reviews studies of the modifiable risk factors of obesity in Korean children. According to the life-course approach, preschool-aged children (<5 years) are influenced by their parents rather than individual habits because they are under mostly parental care. Elementary school-aged children (6 to 11 years) are affected by overlapping individual and parental effects. This may mean that the establishment of individual behavior patterns begins during this period. The conditions of poor eating habits such as skipping meals, eating out, and high fat intake, along with low physical activity, facilitate increased obesity among adolescents (12 to 18 years). Notably, adolescent girls show high rates of both underweight and obesity, which may lead to the development of NCDs in their offspring. Therefore, the problem of NCDs is no longer limited to adults, but is also prevalent among children. In addition, early intervention offers cost-effective opportunities for preventing NCDs. Thus, children need primary consideration, adequate monitoring, diagnosis, and treatment to reduce the burden of NCDs later in adulthood.
This study showed the psychological symptoms, nutritional status and eating behaviors of diabetic patients. General informations on subjects nutritional status were collected by questionnaire, whereas Symptom Check List-90-Revision(SCL-90R) was used for gathering the data related to psychological problem. 34 diabetics in the hospital, aged 49$\pm$10.5 years old, were chosen as the subjects of this study. Their average height was 162.3$\pm$9.4cm and weight was 57.0$\pm$9.5kg. The average period of their suffering from DM was 54.1 weeks. Among, the subjects, 71.0% adapted diet therapy for their disease, whereas 36.7% and 40.7% did diabetic drugs and daily exercise like walking and jogging, respectively, Among 9 psychological symptoms observed, the scores of somatization, depression, anxiety, phobic anxiety and psychoticism were higher than the standard score, however they were not statistically significant. The score of paranoid ideation was lower than standard score. It was statistically significant. As the measure of their clinical status, BMI(body mass index), PIBW(percent ideal body weight) and fasting blood sugar(FBS) were selected 21.6$\pm$2.8, 102.4$\pm$14.8% and 207.8$\pm$19.9mg/이 respectively. The somatization was significantly correlated with subjects duration of DM. Subjects with psychological problems showed wrong eating behaviors. The fasting blood sugar was significantly correlated with the level of depression.

The increasing number of Westernized eating patterns based on wheat flour in Korea has led to an increase in the rate of diseases such as obesity and diabetes, which has become a social problem. Wheat consumption is increasing due to changes in eating habits, but domestic wheat has low price competitiveness and has stagnated recently, so it is necessary to secure new resources to differentiate from imported wheat. Resistant starch, a newly created resource in domestic wheat, can act as a prebiotic similar to dietary fiber in the body, inducing microbial changes in the gut and having beneficial effects on metabolic syndrome. Wheat research on resistant starch was carried out based on the breeding of high amylose. A genome-wide association study (GWAS) was used to perform SNP identification and expression analysis related to wheat amylose through phenotype and genotype. 561 wheat core collection gene sources were investigated for amylose content in wheat, and related genes were extracted and analyzed. In the GWAS analysis, the model formulas BLIMK, FarmCPU, GLM, MLM, and MLMM were used to derive results such as QQ plots and Manhattan plots through phenotypic data. Among these models, BLAST was conducted to find the association between the SNPs identified using FarmCPU and genes related to starch, and 15 were found. Using the identified markers, it becomes easier to develop and browse related wheat cultivars according to their amylose content.
