This paper abstracts the key factors affecting business performance by ERP system at university in China and suggests how to use ERP system effectively at university. Main results are as follows: First, concern and support by CEO affects personal business performance of ERP. Second, ERP system education affects organizational business performance of ERP. Third, concern and support by CEO affects business enhancement performance of ERP.

This paper mainly focuses on an empirical study for performance analysis which is caused by customizing of ERP systems. To conduct this study, four companies are selected in Korea and China, two companies for each country. This paper actually considers four factors for performance analysis of ERP adoption such as financial performance, user satisfaction, competitiveness, and ERP systems adoption, and the analysis of utilization performance is based on nine factors in terms of customizing of ERP systems. As a result of the analyzed results, we conduct comparison analysis about ERP systems customizing of the companies in Korea and China and suggest how to optimally customize for successful ERP systems adoption and application.

With rapid advances in IT and introduction to the concept of business process reengineering, many companies have used tremendous resources in implementing ERP systems to improve cost saving and operational efficiency, However, researchers and IT professionals have not clearly explained the roles and values of ERP systems in achieving business objectives. The purpose of the research is to analyze the differences of organizations' performances based on the organizations' ERP readiness, and to identify the roles of ERP systems in enhancing the organizatons' information capabilities and improving business performances, The findings illustrate that ERP systems implementation do not guarantee business performance improvements, and imply that the implementation of ERP systems is likely to enhance organizations' information capabilities, and information capabilities enhanced by the implementation of ERP systems can improve business performances.

최근 기업에서는 기업경쟁력 강화의 일환으로 다수의 업무처리솔루션을 활용하여 업무처리의 효율성과 효과성을 제고하기 위해 노력하고 있다. ERP 시스템 또한 이러한 맥락으로 기업에서 활용하는 기업형 솔루션으로서 현재 대부분의 기업에서 이를 활용하여 업무를 처리하고 있으며 많은 연구문헌으로 그 효과가 널리 알려져 있다. 이러한 ERP 시스템은 도입이 중요한 것이 아니라, 도입후의 활용으로 효율성을 증대하는 것에 그 목적이 있다. 업무처리능력의 향상. 비용절감효과, 재고의 감소 등 실질적인 성과를 위해서는 시스템의 도입뿐만 아니라 유지보수, 시스템 교육과 같은 사후 관리가 절실히 요구된다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 기업의 ERP 시스템의 활용을 지원하기 위한 방안으로서 e-learning을 제안한다. 기업에서의 e-learning 활용방안에 대한 문헌은 다수 있지만, ERP 시스템의 지원을 위한 e-learning 활용방안은 부족한 현실이다. 따라서 ERP 시스템과 e-learning 시스템과의 연계모델을 제안하고, ERP 시스템 교육을 위한 방법으로서의 e-learning의 우수성을 증명하고자 한다.

For the latest 10 years, many companies have introduced the ERP system competitively. There have been many evaluations of the system, but most of them have made general evaluation and few of them studied output creation. The output of the introduction of the ERP system cannot be uniform, and the stages of output creation also vary. Accordingly, the present study purposed to examine when the management output of the ERP system is created in Korean companies that adopted the ERP system in order to predict the management output of such companies and to provide opportunities to change ERP operation methodology. Balanced scorecard was used as an indicator to measure the outcome of ERP. In addition, we conducted correlation analysis for determining the correlation between ERP system activation factors and management output, and performed frequency analysis to examine the stages of management output creation according to the stage of ERP system.

The public corporations have already implemented ERP to improve productivity, quality, and cost saving. This paper presents the result of business process improvement based on implementation of ERP. Therefore, this paper performed case study of K corporation. Survey was conducted to define the degree of improvement and evaluation method was presented using AHP. The weights for each business area is assigned based on AHP. Then ERP is evaluated in efficiency, work transparency, information sharability, and easy of use. It is meaningful achievement considering its short term implementation. The human resource management shows a relatively larger improvement than other management processes. However, information sharability shows relatively low improvement than others. This quantified result of user-oriented subjective evaluation on ERP implementation will contribute to evaluate the impact of ERP for owner organizations.

ERP 도입 및 운영과정에 전사적 자원 즉 인적자원과 물적자원이 투입되고 활용되었다. 기업경영에 있어서 제 자원의 관리가 중요하고, 특히 인적자원이 성과에 중요한 영향을 미치고 있다. 그 동안 ERP 도입요인과 도입성과에 대한 기존의 연구는 중소기업을 포함한 전체 기업을 대상으로 한 연구가 대부분이었으며, 그러한 연구의 대부분은 먼저 ERP을 도입한 대기업 위주의 연구였다고 볼 수 있다. 중소제조기업의 ERP 도입요인으로서 열악한 전사적 자원의 수준이 ERP 도입성과 즉 생산효율성에 영향을 미친다는 전제하에 이들 간의 인과관계를 위한 연구모형을 제시하였다.

Earned value management(EVM)는 프로젝트 진행 상태를 파악하기 위해 주로 비용과 일정 편차, 성과지표를 통합하여 분석하는 것으로 비용/원가 관리를 위해 발전되어 사용되어 왔다. ERP 프로젝트는 국내 솔루션 시장의 가장 높은 점유율을 차지하고 있지만, 수행에 대한 성과평가 및 일정예측 가능한 신뢰성 있는 Tool 은 알려지지 않고 있다. 본 연구에서는 ERP 프로젝트의 EVM 성과지표를 분석을 통해 ERP 프로젝트가 원가측면의 계획대비 수행 적합성이 높으며, 국내 ERP 프로젝트는 분석단계에서 일정 지연이 발생한다는 것을 발견하였다 향후 본 연구를 통해 EVM 성과 지표를 이용한 현재 시점의 프로젝트 상태를 점검하며, 향후 일정과 원가를 예측하여 성공적인 ERP 프로젝트 수행에 도움이 되고자 한다.

Even though there is no doubt that ERP(Enterprise Resource Planing) system is a prevailing solution for integrating corporate information, many companies still hesitate adopting ERP system because of a great deal of cost including maintenance cost. In special, unless consulting knowledge that is infused into process reengineering phase or adequately embedded in customized ERP system is upgraded on time, then we cannot guarantee the optimality of system performance. Hence, this paper aims to construct an ERP system that adapts itself to environmental changes that are issued by database and users. To do so, we adopt intelligent agent technology and Petri net theory. The agents autonomously cooperate each other to investigate databases and to find any exceptional changes and analyze how the changes will affect ERP performance. The dynamics of the agents are represented as Petri nets. The newly proposed ERP system is to make corresponding BPR processes maintain optimality. To show the feasibility of the proposed ERP maintenance system, logistics component is described as an illustrative example.

Recently implementing enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems with packaged business software is growing rapidly. The purpose of this article is to provide further insights into the business process change and change management in implementation process of ERP systems. This paper examine an survey of some 146 firms' adoption and implementation of packaged ERP software. In this paper, we propose an integrated approach of business process change and change management of the implementation process. This research highlights the importance of change management for implementing ERP. In addition, we empirically reveals that the eventual success of ERP systems depends on effective business process change and change management during the ERP implementation.
