인공산성비에 의한 볍씨발아 장해경감에 대한 Brassinosteroids의 처리효과 (Soaking Effects of Brassinosteroids on Germination of Rice Under Simulated Acid Rain)

  • 본 연구는 밀양 23호와 내풍벼 볍씨를 Brassino-steroids에 24시간 침종 후 인공산성비에 7일간 발아시킨 후 생육, 발아율, 유기산 함량 등 몇 가지 조사를 수행하였던 바 얻어진 결과를 요약하면 인공 산성비의 조성은 sulfate가 $427.9mg\;kg^{-1}$으로 가장 많았고 그 다음이 nitrate로 $130.6mg\;kg^{-1}$이었다. 초장은 밀양 23호에서 인공 산성비 처리구보다 식물생장조절제 처리구가 길었으나 내풍벼에서는 식물생장조절제의 종류와는 무관하게 감소하였고 근장은 밀양 23호에서 인공 산성비 처리구보다 식물생장조절제 처리구에서 높은 뿌리의 신장 효과를 보였다. 발아율은 밀양 23호에서는 인공산성비 단일 처리구가 84.3%인 것보다 모든 생장조절제 처리에서 88.3%의 발아율을 보였으며 유기산 함량은 밀양 23호에서는 인공 산성비 처리구에서 succinic acid와 acetic acid가 각각 $878,419{\mu}g$으로 가장 높은 농도를 보였고 hBR처리에서는 농도가 낮은 $10^{-3}mg\;kg^{-1}$에서 succinic acid와 acetic acid가 가장 높은 함량을 나타내었으나 epiBR처리에서는 acetic acid는 농도가 높을 때, succinic acid는 농도가 낮을 때 함량이 증가하였다.

띠미로버섯 중 25-Epi, $3{\alpha}-Carboxyacetylquercinic$ Acid의 분리정제, 구조결정 및 생리활성 (Isolation, Structure Determination and Biological Activity of 25-Epi, $3{\alpha}-Carboxyacetylquercinic$ Acid in Daedalea dickinsii)

  • 띠미로버섯의 에탄올 추출물 중 25-Epi, $3{\alpha}-carboxyacetylquercinic$ acid의 두 구조, 항균활성 및 항암활성을 연구하였다. 화합물 1의 녹는점과 분자량은 각각 $167{\sim}168^{\circ}C$, 572였고, 몰 흡광 계수는 208 nm에서 5,040이었다. 여러 분광학적 성질로부터 이는 24S, 25S, $3{\alpha}-carboxyacetylquercinic$ acid로 확인되었고, 곰팡이, 효모 및 세균들에 대한 항균활성과 항암활성($IC_{50}=64.5\;{\mu}M$)이 있었다. 화합물 2의 녹는점, 분자량 및 몰흡광 계수는 각각 $233{\sim}235^<\circ}$, 572 및 208 nm에서 5,080이었다. 이는 24S, 25R, $3{\alpha}-carboxyacetylquercinic$ acid로 확인되었고, 화합물 1과 서로 다른 항균활성을 보였다.

계층분석법을 이용한 환경성과정보지표의 개발 (Development of Environmental Performance Index Using Analytic Hierarchy Process)

  • 기존의 환경성과지표는 환경성과와 기업경영성과와의 관계분석의 미흡, 통합 지표 개발로 인한 기업별 차이점의 간과와 기업 외부용 위주의 지표 개발 등 한계를 가지고 있어서 다양한 이해관계자들에게 유용한 정보로서 그 기능을 다하지 못하고 있다. 이러한 문제를 보완하기 위하여 AHP법을 이용하여 환경성과평가의 가중치를 산정하였다. 평가영역별 가중치는 오염물질 배출처리현황 0.38, 환경경영 일반현황 0.23, 환경개선현황 0.22 순으로 높은 수치를 나타냈으며 환경재무현황과 환경정보공개는 0.10, 0.08로 상대적으로 낮게 계산되었다. 이는 투자자자들의 평가 우선 순위에서 볼 때 오염물질 배출처리현황 처리 자료, 환경경영 일반현황 자료, 그리고 환경개선현황 자료를 우선적으로 보고 투자 결정을 한다는 점이다. 환경친화기업에 대한 실증분석결과에서도 대중매체를 통한 환경관련 기사 건수나 환경보고서 발간 유무, 환경친화기업 지정과 ISO 14001 인증기업 등은 환경성과의 평가를 알려주는 지수의 측정에서도 가장 중요한 역할을 하는 것으로 나왔으며 전자나 제지, 자동차 산업을 경영하는 곳에서 환경경영성과가 우수한 것으로 도출되었다.

운향과(芸香科) 식물(植物) 종실(種實)의 항성화성(抗醒化性) (Studies on the Antioxidative Substances in the Seeds of the Rutaceae Family)

  • Some seeds of the Rutaceae family, Zanthoxylum piperitum, Z. schinifolium officinalis, Poncirus trifoliata, Citrus unshin, were investigated to clarify their antioxidative components. Finely powdered samples were extracted by hexane, followed by dichioromethane and then 70% methanol in a hot bath. Its unsaponifiables containing X-and Y-tocopherol with trace amount of ${\beta}-and$\;{\delta}-tocopherol$. also showed comparatively weak activity, although the hexane fraction itself had no significant antioxidative effect on lard. Levels of total tocopherols in the samples averages 42. 24-154. 11 mg/lOOg total extractives. The dichloromethane-and 70% methanol extractives showed strong antioxidative activity, from which antioxidative substances were purified with benzene-acetone(6:5, V/V) on a silica gel column, and with a solvent mixture of acetonitrile-methanol-$H_2O$(40:40:20, V/V/V) on a Sep-Pak $C_{18}$ hydrolyzed by 5% KOH-ethanol. The recovered unsaponifiables were, then, separated on a column of high performance liquid chromatography. The unsaponifiables produced by hydrolysis of the isolates from dichloromethane extractives has epi-catechin(40.0-57.1%) and (+)-catechin<$l9.1{\sim}24.4%$ to total phenolic substances, on area base) as major component, accompanied by chlorogenic acid, gallic acid(?), trans-p-coumaric acid and tralls-p-ferulic acid including some unknown components, and those derived from 70% methanol extractives also comprise (+)-catechin($31.3{\sim}39.6%$ to total components, on area base), epi-catechin($2O.2{\sim}36.4%$), trans-p-cournaric acid(8.4-15.3%) and trans-p-ferulic acid($7.7{\sim}14.1%$) as predominant component with some minor coponents, but the fraction supposed to be gallic acid(?) is not present. The antioxidative activities of the phenolic components isolated in this work were in order of epi-catechin>catechin>chlorogenic acid>trans-p-ferluic acid>trans-p-coumaric acid.

광대역 펄스감마선 탐지센서 최적화 설계 및 제작 (Optimized Design and Manufacture of Wideband Pulsed Gamma-ray Sensors)

  • 본 연구에서는 광대역 펄스감마선 탐지센서 최적화 설계를 수행하고 설계결과를 기반으로 탐지센서를 제작하여 전기적 특성을 분석하였다. 탐지센서의 최적화 설계를 위해 펄스감마선의 시간에 따른 에너지 프로파일로 부터 입력 변수를 도출하고 탐지감도 제어회로를 통하여 출력전류 범위를 결정하였다. 도출된 변수를 바탕으로 N-type Epi Wafer 및 TCAD(Technology Computer Aided Design)로 설계하고 제작하였다. 제작된 탐지센서의 전기적 특성 분석 결과 -3.3V 전압에서 12pA의 누설전류와 -5V의 전압에서 완전 공핍화 되는 특성을 가짐을 확인하였다. 제작된 센서의 포항가속기연구소 TEST LINAC 시험결과 감마선 설정 선율의 펄스방사선에 대해 고감도의 광전류를 생성시킴을 확인하였다.

Skin Corrosion and Irritation Test of Nanoparticles Using Reconstructed Three-Dimensional Human Skin Model, EpiDermTM

  • Effects of nanoparticles (NPs) on skin corrosion and irritation using three-dimensional human skin models were investigated based on the test guidelines of Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD TG431 and TG439). EpiDerm$^{TM}$ skin was incubated with NPs including those harboring iron (FeNPs), aluminum oxide (AlNPs), titanium oxide (TNPs), and silver (AgNPs) for a defined time according to the test guidelines. Cell viabilities of EpiDerm$^{TM}$ skins were measured by the 3-(4, 5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2.5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide based method. FeNPs, AlNPs, TNPs, and AgNPs were non-corrosive because the viability was more than 50% after 3 min exposure and more than 15% after 60 min exposure, which are the non-corrosive criteria. All NPs were also non-irritants, based on viability exceeding 50% after 60 min exposure and 42 hr post-incubation. Release of interleukin 1-alpha and histopathological analysis supported the cell viability results. These findings suggest that FeNPs, AlNPs, TNPs, and AgNPs are 'non-corrosive' and 'non-irritant' to human skin by a globally harmonized classification system.

  • In this work, we demonstrate 800V 4H-SiC power DMOSFETs with several structural alterations to obtain a low threshold voltage ($V_{TH}$) and a high figure of merit ($V_B^2/R_{SP,ON}$). To optimize the device performance, we consider four design parameters; (a) the doping concentration ($N_{CSL}$) of current spreading layer (CSL) beneath the p-base region, (b) the thickness of p-base ($t_{BASE}$), (c) the doping concentration ($N_J$) and width ($W_J$) of a JFET region, (d) the doping concentration ($N_{EPI}$) and thickness ($t_{EPI}$) of epi-layer. These parameters are optimized using 2D numerical simulation and the 4H-SiC DMOSFET structure results in a threshold voltage ($V_{TH}$) below ~3.8V, and high figure of merit ($V_B^2/R_{SP,ON}$>${\sim}200MW/cm^2$) for a power MOSFET in $V_B$-800V range.

제왕절개술후 통증치료를 위한 지속적 경막외 Morphine-Bupivacaine 주입법과 정맥내 Nalbuphine 주입법의 진통효과와 부작용의 비교 (Comparison of Analgesic Efficacy and Side Effects between Continuous Epidural Morphine-Bupivacaine and Intravenous Nalbuphine Administration for Analgesia after Cesarean Section)

  • Background: Various pain treatments have been administered to relieve patients suffering from postoperative pain. Among these, epidural or intravenous opiate administration is by far the most widly applied treatment in recent times. However it was our objective to device a more effective and safe means of postoperative analgesia. Methods: We studied 110 healthy pregnant women scheduled for delivery by elective cesarean section. EPI(epidural)-group is administered morphine 1.5 mg and 0.25% bupivacaine 8 ml as bolus dose, then, a mixture of morphine 6 mg and 0.125% bupivacaine 95 ml as continuous dose via epidural route. IV(intravenous)-group is administered nalbuphine 6~7 mg as bolus dose and nalbuphine 60~70 mg with 0.9% normal saline 90 ml as continuous dose via intravenous route, at the rate of 2 ml/hr for 2 days. We compared the analgesic efficacy and side effects of these two groups using VAS pain score and time duration of constant pain level. Results: VAS pain score was similar between the two groups, but pain duration was significantly shorter in EPI-group. Incidence of pruritus was significantly lower with the IV-group, of nausea and vomiting were similar for both groups, no respiratory depression for either groups. Conclusions: Although the EPI-group had better analgesic efficacy, the IV-group had lower incidence of side effects, and simplicity and safety methods of operation. Therefore, We propose further research and consideration of administering the kinds and doses of those medications prescribe to the IV group in conjunction with other drugs for safer and better efficacy of postoperative analgesia.

개 트립신양(樣) 면역반응성 단클론 항체의 제작 (Preparation of Monoclonal Antibodies for Canine Trypsin-Like Immunoreactivity)

  • Canine trypsin-like immunoreactivity (cTLI), which is a mirror of the concentration of trypsin and trypsinogen, is a pancreas-specific enzyme and a suitable marker for canine pancreatitis and especially exocrine pancreatic insufficiency (EPI). To develop the immunochromatographic test kit, monoclonal antibodies that recognize cTLI were prepared. Anionic trypsin, cationic trypsin, and chymotrypsin from canine pancreas were successfully purified to homogeneity, using ammonium sulfate fractionation and benzamidine-affinity chromatography. The purification fold for anionic trypsin was 108 times when compared with that of the homogenation of pancreas. The molecular weights by SDS-PAGE analysis were approximately 23 kDa for chymotrypsin and approximately 20 kDa for cationic trypsin and anionic trypsin, respectively. Using the purified trypsin-like proteins, ten hybridomas which secret canine trypsin-specific monoclonal antibody were prepared. Klotz plot indicated that hybridomas, 5G2H10G4 and 2F4A11, have high affinity constant (Ka) of $4.1\;{\times}\;10^{9}$ and $1.8\;{\times}\;10^{9}$, respectively. Especially, 5F9H3 showed the cationic typsin-specific binding pattern and its Ka was determined to $4.5\;{\times}\;10^{9}$. The development of immunochromatographic test kit using these monoclonal antibodies against cTLI will be very useful in the diagnosis of canine EPI or canine pancreatitis.
