국립공원의 합리적 공간관리를 위한 비오톱 유형화 및 평가 연구 (Biotope Classification and Evaluation for Rational Spatial-management of National Park)

  • This study aimed to suggest a framework for biotope classification and evaluation based on habitat values to rationally establish management areas of national parks. The factors and indicators related to the biotope classification and evaluation were established based on integration from those of previous studies. The decision tree evaluation process was applied to the classification and evaluation of the biotope type level. The evaluation of the biotope group level was carried out to determine the weight and the AUEM (Adding Up Estimation Matrix) was applied for the final grades. As a result, the biotope type of Seolaksan National Park was classified into 43 types and Odaesan National Park was classified into 41 types. Bukhansan National Park, which is located in a metropolitan city, was classified into 49 types. In terms of biotope evaluation, grade III had a ratio of 50.6%, the highest in Seolaksan national park. The ratios of grade I and grade II, which have great ecological-value, were respectively 12.0% and 36.5%. Grade II was 48.2%, the highest ratio in Odaesan National Park. The ratios of grades I and II were 10.8% and 37.9%, respectively. Grade III was 54.8%, the highest ratio in Bukhansan national park, and the ratios of grade I and grade II, which have great ecological-value were, respectively, 11.4% and 25.7%. The biotope values of major national parks were evaluated according to the type focusing on the actual vegetation. This framework can be considered for application to the spatial management of other types of protected areas.

우리나라에서 보전우선순위를 위한 입지 및 식물종 선정의 평가기준 : 개관 (Evaluation Criterias of Site and Plant Species for Conservation Priorities in Korea : An Overview)

  • 우리나라에서 앞으로 적용가능한 식물의 서식처 및 종의 선정에 대한 보전평가기준 특히 식물적 가치에 대한 기준을 마련하기 위하여 1969년부터 1986년 사이에 발표된 야생동물의 보전가치의 평가에 관련된 논문에 발표된 기준을 재정리하였다. 희귀성, 다양성, 크기 및 정도 및 자연성 등은 대부분의 논문에서 사용되고 있는 기준이었다. 위와 같은 내용을 우리나라의 상황과 비교하여 서식처의 크기를 고려하여 16개의 요인을 정리하였다. 인간의 간섭, 생태적 분쇄성 및 희귀성 등은 서식처의 규모가 비교적 좁은 경우에 고려되어야 할 요인인 반면, 지역, 생태적 및 지리적 단위내에서의 다양성 위치 및 자연성 등은 입지의 규모가 큰 지역에 고려되어야 할 요인으로 판단되었다. 유일성, 전형성, 연구 및 교육적 가치 등은 규모의 크기 여하를 불문하고 고려되어야 할 요인으로 판단되었다. 본 기준이 우리나라에서 실제로 적용되어 앞으로 적용가능한 평가기준이 될 수 있도록 해야 하는 과제가 남아 있기는 하지만, 장차 우리나라에서 마련되어야 할 보호지역 및 특정식물의 평가기준을 위한 지침이 될 수 있으리라 판단된다.

AHP를 활용한 문화관광개발 사업의 평가지표 개발 및 적용 -안동시 3대 문화권 문화·생태 관광 기반조성 사업을 중심으로- (The Development and Application of the Indices of Evaluation for the Cultural Tourism Development Project Using AHP -focusing on Cultural and Ecological Tourism Infrastructure Project in Three Cultural Areas of Andong City-)

  • 본 연구는 AHP를 활용한 문화관광개발 평가항목의 가중치 설정에 관한 연구로 안동시 3대문화권 문화 생태 관광기반 조성 사업을 사례로 분석하였다. 평가항목의 신뢰도를 조사한 결과 0.9로 분석되어 적합한 것으로 나타났다. 가중치의 분석에서 상위계층의 경우 계획의 타당성, 경제적 타당성, 정책적 타당성 순으로 도출되었다. 다음으로 계획의 타당성에 대한 세부지표는 콘텐츠의 차별성, 정책적 타당성에 대한 세부지표는 지역특성의 부합성, 경제적 타당성에 대한 세부지표는 지속가능성으로 가장 높은 가중치가 나타났다. 결론적으로 3대 문화권 문화 생태 관광기반 조성사업의 추진방향은 당초 계획보다 많은 시간이 지연됨에 따라 환경의 변화에 능동적으로 대처하기 위해 당초 계획을 중심으로 사업계획을 일부 변경하여 추진하는 것이 바람직하다는 결론을 도출 할 수 있었다.

복원된 양재천에서 복원 효과 평가 및 평가 결과에 기초한 개선방안 (An Evaluation on Restoration Effect in the Restored Yangjae Stream and the Improvement Plan Based on the Result)

  • This study was carried out to evaluate the restoration effect in the restored Yangjae stream and to draw up an adaptive management plan based on the results. As the result of evaluation on the restoration effect, the restored Yangjae stream was evaluated with low naturalness in both terms of the morphology of the stream and the composition and spatial distribution of vegetation. The diverse functional groups were introduced in the vegetation restoration, but the flooding regime, which is significant in the spatial distribution of riparian vegetation, were not correctly reflected. Exotic species or species that were not ecologically suitable for the location were introduced on the embankment and thus a measure to improve those problems is required. As the ecological principle was not reflected in the restoration plan, the stream was constructed as the double terrace structure. Therefore, the width of the waterway was narrowed further, and the waterfront was not designed to accommodate changes from flooding disturbance, making the micro-topography of the stream simpler and the naturalness lower. The adaptive management plan was prepared to improve those problems, and a plan for creating an ecological network was recommended to enhance the restoration effect.

나도승마(Kirengeshoma koreana Nakai) 생태정보 수집 및 서식지 평가 (Ecological Data Collection and Habitat Assessment of Kirengeshoma koreana Nakai)

  • This study was conducted to develop a habitat assessment system for the endangered wildlife II Kirengeshoma koreana Nakai through in-depth interviews with experts based on field surveys and environmental characteristics through spatial data analysis and literature research. Evaluation factors were selected based on the survey results of 31 variables for 23 K. koreana habitats. Afterwards, the importance and evaluation range for each assessment factor were selected. The selection of survey variables, assessment factors, importance of each factor and assessment range was conducted through in-depth interviews with experts at each stage. As a result, the assessment factors and importance were 16% for precipitation of the wettest month, 10% for vegetation zone, 12% for vegetation type, 10% for crown canopy vitality, 14% for tree layer coverage, 13% for drainage grade, 12% for soil depth, and 13% for distance to stream including dry stream. This study provides basic ecological information and a habitat assessment system for K. koreana habitats. Therefore, it can be used as primary data for preparing an endangered wildlife conservation policy, preparing a habitat improvement plan, and selecting an alternative habitat.

아파트단지 외부공간의 친환경적 설계지침 적용특성에 관한 연구 - 김포 한강 신도시 아파트 건설공사 턴키(turn-key) 안을 중심으로- (A Study on the Application Characteristics of Environment-Friendly Design Guidelines at Outdoor Spaces in Apartment Complexes - Focused on Turn-Key Projects of Han River New Town Construction -)

  • This study has been conducted focusing on the analysis of the turn-key proposal for Gimpo-Han River New City. The study expected that it would come up with design trends and introduction properties of each plan for the eco-friendly development of an apartment house. The concept of environment-friendly design was thought in four parts: 'Land use and transportation,' 'Ecological environment', 'Energy resource and environmental impact' and analysis factors of each part were chosen by specific items from the prospective researches and guidelines that already given on the projects. In conclusion, a proper development of the environmental-friendly apartment house will not be achieved unless the designers try to overcome their prejudice against eco-friendly planning elements applications. Along with the designers' attempt, it is also necessary to review the evaluation articles of the certification system for the existing environmental-friendly structures as well as to compensate and establish detailed evaluation standards. As the problems are being worked on, an integrated, effective evaluation standard for the eco-friendly planning elements will be determined. This way, an environmental-friendly residential development with a better quality will be eventually realized.

공동주택의 외부공간 시공 후 평가를 통한 생태면적률 개선 방안도출을 위한 기초 연구 - 현장시공시 생태면적률 공간유형 반영을 중심으로 - (A basic study on Improvement for Biotops Area Ratio through the Post Evaluation Plan for Outdoor Space of Apartment Housings)

  • The problem of urban climate change and destruction of wildlife habitats space which is becoming more serious day by day, has to do with the impervious area(surface area) in urban space. The destruction of natural ground and indiscreet soil covering due to compact development is causing urban desertification in urban residential areas. With biotops area ratio being variously used and extended as a pre planning index, this study aims to analyze the elements of biotop area ratio that need to be supplemented in order to emerge as a realistic planning index for post evaluation measure and not act only as a examining tool in the planning stage. In particular, this study aims to examine the possibility of biotops area ratio to be used as a system to evaluate the outer space of apartment housings, in which biotops area ratio is most actively used, as a tool to secure ecological soundness of the development area after construction is finished.

훼손지 유형에 따른 생태복원 평가방법 개발 (Evaluation Method Development for Ecological Restorations by Damaged Types)

  • It was required to evaluate ecological restorations in a comprehensive way in order to systematically manage conservation areas such as DMZ and national parks in South Korea. In this research we developed a new approach to evaluating ecological restorations with more various indexes than vegetation covering-related indexes. By analyzing damaged areas in the vicinity of DMZ, major damaged types were identified as six classes: landform modification, surface loss, soil pollution, soil physio-chemical modification, vegetation decline and vegetation damaged. From literature review, 39 indexes were selected and were grouped into four divisions: soil property, vegetation growth & structure, habitat property and landscape structure & functions. By conducting a survey with the selected indexes targeting relevant experts, data on relative importance among the divisions and indexes by damaged type were collected. As a result, it was found that the orders and values of weighted values of the divisions were different by damaged type: for example, soil property (0.402), vegetation growth & structure (0.209), habitat property (0.225), landscape structure & function (0.163) for "landform modification"; but soil property (0.171), vegetation growth & structure (0.401), habitat property (0.270), landscape structure & function (0.158) for "vegetation decline". Similarly, evaluation indexes showed different orders and values of relative importance, easiness in field measurement and representativeness for the division by damaged type, and the values were used for calculating importance factor for each index. In the evaluation table, score1 and score2 were made by the importance factors of indexes multiplied by distribution values which present grades and by the weighted values of divisions. In conclusion, while dealing with the damaged type was considered significant for evaluating and managing restorations, further tests on this table with a range of cases were needed to improve its quality.

부착규조를 이용한 남천의 하천 생태 건강도 평가 (Assessment of Ecological Health of the Namcheon Stream using Epilithic Diatoms)

  • 본 연구는 생물학적 보전지수(IBI, Index of Biotic Integrity) 평가와 이화학적 수질 분석, 물리적 서식지 평가(QHEI, Qualitative habitate evaluation index)를 이용하여 하천 건강성을 평가하고자 남천의 10개 지점을 대상으로 2006년 8월과 2006년 11월, 2007년 2월, 2007년 4월까지 총 4회에 걸쳐 부착규조 조사를 실시하였다. IBI, QHEI값을 산정하기 위하여 USEPA(1999) 가 제시한 항목 중 우리나라의 환경적 특성에 맞게 수정 보안하여 사용하여 평가하였다. 남천의 하천 생태 건강도 평가 결과, IBI 등급은 '보통', QHEI등급은 '열악', BOD값에 의거한 이화학적 수질등급은 II등급 기준인 '약간좋음'으로 나타나 총체적인 하천생태계 건강도는 '보통'상태로 나타났다. 이는 수 환경에 대한 교란은 적고 생물들이 서식하기에 비교적 양호한 수질임을 시사한다. 정점별로는 St. 6과 St. 7, St. 8, St. 9는 물리적 서식지 지수가 가장 '열악'한 상태로 대부분이 하천의 흐름을 방해하는 교각이나 인공보가 곳곳에 설치되어 있으며, 하상구조가 대부분 단순화되어 있어 수생태계 심각한 교란이 예상되는 정점이다. 또한 St. 10은 전체적으로 서식 환경은 좋으나 생활하수 유입과 함께 하수종말처리장으로부터 배출되는 영양염으로 인한 수생태계의 교란을 초래할 것으로 예상되므로 추후 영양염 유입에 대한 관리가 필요한 것으로 판단된다.

경관 생태 연구의 새로운 방법론 모색을 통한 도입 가능성과 한계성 (Possibility and Limitations of New Framework of Landscape Ecology)

  • The purpose of this study is to overview foreign trends in the study of the landscape ecology through new framework of landscape ecological studies and to suggest possibility and limitation of introduction of landscape ecology studies in Korea. Because of historical reasons rooted in different disciplines, landscape ecology of the present time is not unified at all. Therefore, landscape ecology should be understood in an integrative manner accommodating different views and various aspects of landscape(NOOS, GEOS, BIOS). Facing the increasing environmental problems and the goal of sustainable landscape, the principle of a holistic approach complementarity and transdisciplinarity outlined in this paper (esp. connection physical-materials and cognitive system) might help to understand the characteristics of landscapes and landscape ecology. Important steps towards this direction are the landscape survey, diagnosis, the identification of landscape functions, the development of landscape evaluation models and landscape planning system. Recently there have been a few landscape ecological researches in Korea, which tells there have been strong needs to solve practical landscape problems caused by the rapid socioeconomic growth for several decades. However, almost of this studies are focused on cognitive and visual aspects of landscapes defined boundaries of disciplines. But for more holistic approach complementarity and transdisciplinarity in landscape ecological studies, many other aspects such as the consideration of geoecological and bioecologocal variables, preperation of ecological basic data(mapping) and the development of landscape planning as a tool for practical application should be integrated into the whole landscape system.
