사회취약 독거노인 주택의 맞춤형 개조 현장상황 기술 연구 (A Descriptive Research on Field Situation of Customized Modification for Vulnerable Single Elderly Home)

  • Elderly population has increased rapidly and adjusting the environment is in demand to support their health. To improve the living environment of elderly, an appropriate plan for customized home modification is needed upon the personal contexts. The purpose of this study is to explain the sequence and to build an insight on customized home modification for vulnerable single elderly. It is a case study based on single target that includes 6 months of execution period deeply seeking the appropriate plan for implementation. The target is a male elderly aged 74 living in a single story detached house. The various research methods are applied in this study including exploratory, participatory, action and trade-off preference researches. The result shows that plan for home modification is complex outcome of interlocking uniqueness between residence environment and resident situation. If customized modification is targeted for residentially vulnerable social group, more sensitive approach aiming for the highest result is required due to financial constraint. To conclude, comprehensive understanding of overall circumstances of a dwelling, a resident and various stakeholder is essential throughout the process. Since the aging-in-place of elderly cannot be achieved without self-sustaining living environment, customized home modification should be a tool to meet housing suitability. It is important to strengthen the experts and future workforce with networks of local residents to share opinions and appropriate plans.

아파트 브랜드 인지도와 소비자 구매의도에 관한 연구 (Apartment Brand Awareness and Consumers' Purchase Intention)

  • This study examined consumers' awareness of apartment brands and the purchase intention of apartments with brand names. This study compared apartment brand awareness with purchase intention in terms of consumers' socio-economic and housing characteristics. Also, it identified the factors that influence consumers' awareness and purchase intention of apartment brands. The data were obtained via a questionnaire completed by adults 20 years of age and olde. (N=383), and were analyzed by t-tests, ANOVA, chi-square tests, multiple regression, and logistic regression analyses. The findings of this study are as follows: First, both consumers' awareness and purchase intention of apartment brands were higher among married males in their 30s and 40s than among unmarried females in their 20s and 50s. For consumers who had graduated from graduate schools, both awareness and purchase intention of apartment brands were lower than other groups. Second, consumers dwelling in apartments or row houses showed higher awareness of apartment brands. And those who lived in row houses were more likely to consider purchasing apartments with brand names. Third, every factor of consumers' housing values was higher than the middle point of the scale. Especially, economic and social values of housing were important factors for both awareness and purchasing intention of apartment brands. Fourth, the apartment brand awareness had a positive effect on the purchase intention of the apartments with their own brands.

건축공간에서의 원근기법 이용에 관한 연구(1) - 고구려 무덤과 그 벽화를 중심으로 - (A Study on the Utilization of Perspective Representation in a Construction Space - centering on the tombs and mural paintings of Koguryo -)

  • The perspective representation and its effect that appeared in the tombs and mural paintings of koguryo are summarized as follows: First, The inside structure of the tombs is likely to show the deepness effect, placing each function in the front and both sides centering around the mane pillars and creating the boundaries and the spaces that have various visibility between the inside and outside spaces of the structure just like a traditional Korean house shows. In addition, The deepness effect is emphasized by suggesting that the spaces are countinued with a storage attached behind the main house or by forming the level and deployment in a narrow space like the scene that a large array is looked out from the main house. Second, The deepness effect is expressed by making the form of ceiling turn to a vertical space of an ascending image, constructing it just as the lotus lamp ceiling of a wooden architecture or drawing it just like the imaginary heavenly world with the sun the moon and mythical fairies and animals spread in it. Thried, The perspective effect is disclosed by drawing the mural pictures in an equally set bird's-eye view without regard to the disfance proportion according to the conceptual visualization which is not a visual penetration, adopting the multiple view points and moving view points that are moving around as an important manner of seeing. Fourth, The deepness effect is emphasized through the scene of changing spaces when they are looked out far or looked into depending on a viewpoint of the daily life by forming the fromes of paintings that we made up with actual pillars, Du Gong, crossbeams or that are painted in most tombs. Fifth, The rich spatial senses are reflected by originating the characters of the three directions, level, deployment and ascending. An example which can support the conclusion of this study can be given here. that is, the construction ground plan of a dwelling house of a nobleman at the end of Koguryo as a remain which was excavated at Dongdae Ja in Jip An.

  • The important goal of urban renewal is not to reform only Physical environment but to improve people' life quality. people who have been lived in urban renewal area are grouped to owner and tenant. owner of land or house has substituent right but tenant has only house-moving money or rental house by urban renewal. But rental house condition is not good to tenant because tenant has large family, low-income and low grade and it is essential to provide rental house for low-income class and it is worth to analyze tenant house problem The purpose of this study is to analyze the problems of public rental house and to presents solutions. The study was done in following process. First, the literatures on this subject were investigated to seek the problems of public rental house. Second, Survey were done on the staff, who works in the cooperative housing redevelopment and whose jobs are officer, consultant, real estate introducer and designer, to seek problems and solution of public rntal house. survey which is made by three group. one group is made by people who already lived in tenant APT, second group is made by people who are waiting for moving in tenant APT. Third group is made by specialist who has many experience-more than 3years- to urban renewal. Third, the Correlation Analysis was used to analyze the relation between the Area and dwelling satisfaction. Fourth, tenant policy' altenative is presented to solve tenant APT' problem which is analyzed by this study The results are as follows : First, tenant APT' size Which is regulated to 30-$45m^{2}$ is enlarged to more than $45m^{2}$ because tenant family is made up averagely of 4.8 persons. Second, tenant APT' rental cost is reduced to 100 thousand won. Third tenant APT' arrangement is divided from owner because tenant and owner want to live in group by group. Fourth, tenant house type is changed to various house type because tenant is not familiar with APT

주택의 특성으로서 접근성에 대한 가치분석 (A Value Analysis of Accessibility as an Attribute of Housing)

  • In an aging society, as the number of people with disabilities increases concerns are raised about the quality of life of these people and their access to a safe environment becomes important. The purpose of this study is to find out the value of accessibility as an attribute of housing. To estimate the value of accessible, barrier-free housing, this study uses the Contingent Valuation Method (CVM) and analyzes the factors which affect the Willingness To Pay (WTP) of survey respondents by using Survival Analysis. In addition, the importance and satisfaction of barrier-free facilities in the dwellings of survey respondents was investigated. Since aging could be an important factor in influencing the need for accessibility, this study surveyed two age groups, one group (212 respondents) of people below the age of 65 and the other (162 respondents) of people above 65. The results of this study show that respondents would pay on average 2.67% more for being barrier-free when answering an open-ended question and 3.87% more for barrier-free housing when using the double referendum model. This is the increase in value that the respondents perceive as a consequence of removing all the architectural barriers from a dwelling. On average, elderly respondents would pay 2.99% of housing price for accessible features compared to 4.40% of the younger group. However, if the elderly who have willingness to pay for accessibility, the value the older group put on barrier-free housing was higher than the value perceived by the younger group. Factors that influence the WTP are importance of barrier-free facilities, education level and housing type. The value of dwellings without barriers estimated in this study shows the potential size and value of this kind of housing market to the housing development sector.

유전가열 마이크로파를 적용한 방수·방염 내장목재 개발을 위한 기초적 연구 (A Fundamental Study for Development on Waterproof and Flame Retardant processing technology the Interior Wood of using Induced electricity heating Microwave)

  • Qualitative enhancement of dwelling life has changing the recognition for the environment friendly wood which is being highlighted for its usage as an interior materials. This trend may prove the excellent performance of wood whose inherent characteristics has its comfortable, mild feeling of material, sound resistance and stabilities and the market of interior woods including floor, moulding and wooden panel as finishing interior materials is growing sustainably. However, since this materials is vulnerable to humidity and flame, waterproofing and flame retarding stability, an essential condition for interior materials, together with maintenance, are the main topics to be resolved. From the above-mentioned results, as a result of waterdrop contact angle, wood absorption volume and water content percentage test and the performance test of the processed materials after flame retardant, though there was some submerging time changes among types of woods for ensuring waterproofing performance improvement but as time passes, similar tendency was noticed to be formulated. As the submerging time is increased, so does the absorption volume and accordingly optimal level of range is judged to be drawn in order to ensure excellent performance, taking optimal economy into consideration. Therefore, it is considered that above-mentioned woods could be utilized for waterproof and flame retardant processed interior materials using uniform microwave and in order to put this technology into practical application, a research by way of diversified performance proving is required to be carried out.

외국인 이주자의 관련 정책 및 지원활동에 관한 인식 (Foreign Immigrants' Recognition on Related Policies and Supporting Activities)

  • 본 연구는 우리나라의 외국인 이주자 정책과 지원 활동이 어떤 성향을 가지고 있으며, 이러한 성향을 반영한 구체적인 정책 및 지원 프로그램들이 외국인 이주자들의 유형과 거주지역에 따라 어떻게 달리 인식되고 있는가를 고찰하고, 이들을 위해 필요한 정책의 개선 방안을 제시하고자 한다. 흔히 외국인 이주자 정책은 동화 모형, 차별적 배제 모형, 다문화 모형으로 구분되지만, 주변화의 성향이 함의된 것으로 이해된다. 또한 결혼이주자 정책은 동화 모형, 이주노동자 정책은 차별적 배제 모형, 전문직 이주자와 외국인 유학생 정책은 (거의 부재한 상태에서) 다문화주의적 성향을 가진 것으로 이해되지만, 설문조사에 의하면 외국인 이주자들은 관련 정잭에 대해 이러한 성향이 혼재된 것으로 인식하고 있다. 외국인 이주자를 위한 정책의 개선 방안으로, 첫째 동화주의, 차별적 배제주의, 그리고 주변화를 벗어날 수 있는 분배적 평등과 인정의 정의에 기초한 다문화주의, 둘째 지역사회에 기반을 두고 외국인 이주자 및 관련 기관과 단체들이 참여하는 외국인 이주자 네트워크 거버넌스의 구축, 셋째 지역 정체성 함양, 시민권의 보장, 종합적 복지 제공, 다문화교육 등 지속적이고 다문화주의적 내용들로 구성된 지원 프로그램의 개발 등이 제시된다.

경로당 여성 노인들의 치매와 잔존 치아 수와의 관련성 (The relationship between dementia and the number of remaining tooth of the elderly women on senior center)

  • 최근 노인 인구의 증가로 노인들의 삶의 질과 관련하여 구강건강에 관한 관심도 크게 증가하고 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 치매, 치매의심, 정상인 세 그룹으로 나누어 여성 노인들의 잔존 치아 수와의 관련성에 대해서 조사하였다. 일부 지역사회에 거주하는 경로당을 방문한 60세 이상 여성 노인 177명의 구강 상태와 그들의 MMSE 점수로 인지기능을 평가하였다. 모든 자료는 SPSS를 이용하여 chi-square test, t-test, ANOVA, multiful logistic regression 통계기법을 이용하여 분석하였다. Multiful logistic regression으로 MMSE 점수에 따른 치매와 잔존 치아 수와의 관련성을 분석하였고, 95% 신뢰구간으로 정하였다. 치매가 있는 대상자가 잔존 치아수가 0-10개로 적을 위험비가 3.53배(95% confidence interval: 1.382-8.997) 높은 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구에서는 여성 노인들에서 MMSE 점수에 따른 치매와 잔존 치아 수 사이에 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 조사되었다.

덴마크 자치관리모델(Self-work Model) 노인용 코하우징의 디자인 특성 (The Design Feature of Self-work Model Senior Cohousing Projects in Denmark)

  • In Scandinavian countries, where the society experienced change of typical nuclear family structure and higher vocational activity rates of married women earlier than East Asian countries, cohousing scheme has been evolved as an alternative housing to reduce housework for working women, and to reduce loneliness of elderly people who stay in their own homes. They can promote active mutual relationship among residents in the community. Korean family structure has been stemmed to more like extended family, but the tendency to live independently from their married children is getting more and more common in new cohort of senior citizens who are active, healthy, economically stable and higher educated. Korea has been industrialized rather rapidly since 1970's and faces to many societal phenomena about quality of life for senior citizens. Introduction of alternative housing solution for these senior citizens is necessary in Korea. In this paper, Danish senior cohousing scheme, particularly, self-work model project is described about its design feature in accordance to site planning, common facility, and dwelling unit. Aiming to mutual support and more frequent social contacts among residents, self-work model cohousing scheme has different design concept from the service mode scheme. Information about design feature of senior cohousing was collected from the published data with drawings and from field survey to 10 exiting projects in Denmark. Of those, 5 projects were described as a case study. It, hopefully, could provide practical information for architectural design when establishment of senior cohousing schemes start in Korea in the near future.

프라이 오토의 '자연적 구조' 건축의 유형적 특성과 표현양태에 관한 연구 (A Study on the typological characters and the expressive modalities of the architecture of 'the natural construction' of Frei Otto)

  • Founding himself on 'The Principle of Self-making' that is the instrument of 'the natural construction' and accomplishing the various interdisciplinary researches, Frei Otto could explicate the fundamental structure of life that is able to make visible the self-making processes in the nature, the technique and the architecture. It is the flexible pneumatic construction that is grounded on the fibrous organization. This was a milestone not only for him who wanted to put the idea of the new architectural form into practice, but also for the contemporary architecture that faces on the style-pluralistic disorientedness. The architectural form of the natural construction includes in itself three constitutional sub-ideas. One of them is 'the adaptable architecture', which is inclined to the architecture similar to the organization of human body, and the other 'the light architecture' that is in the pursuit of the optimal form through the minimal material. The last one is 'the ecological architecture' that aims to realize the optimal dwelling environment based on the effective energy consumption by accumulating knowledges of the always fluid and unstable nature. With these architectural ideas Frei Otto could develop a new architectural form language 'the light architecture of the natural construction'. This study is purposed to explain the various experiments that were made by his team and the basic principles of the structural dynamics of 'the architecture of the natural construction' and then to analyze the structures that were built on the ground of those principles.
