  • It has been known that the host mobility feature has very significant impact on the QoS (Quality of Service), which is usually required to a real-time multimedia application. The existing QoS support mechanisms to provide the real-time services to fixed network environment, like as RSVP, are inadequate to accommodate the mobile hosts which can frequently change their point of attachments to the fixed network. So, MRSVP (Mobile RSVP) protocol has been proposed to reduce the impacts of host mobility on QoS guarantees, in which a mobile host needs to make advance resource reservations at multiple locations it may possibly visit during the lifetime of the connection. This paper proposes a dynamic dual anchor node (DDAN) architecture which integrates the MRSVP and RSVP tunnel, in addition to the Mobile IP Regional Registration protocol. By limiting the resource reserved in local area, it preserves the lower level of resource reservation, but provides approximately the same degree of QoS support as the existing MRSVP.

  • This paper analyzes the effect of a dual-metal-gate structure on the electrical characteristics of AlGaN/GaN metal-insulator-semiconductor high electron mobility transistors. These structures have two gate metals of different work function values (${\Phi}$), with the metal of higher ${\Phi}$ in the source-side gate, and the metal of lower ${\Phi}$ in the drain-side gate. As a result of the different ${\Phi}$ values of the gate metals in this structure, both the electric field and electron velocity in the channel become better distributed. For this reason, the transconductance, current collapse phenomenon, breakdown voltage, and radio frequency characteristics are improved. In this work, the devices were designed and analyzed using a 2D technology computer-aided design simulation tool.

  • The sorption equilibria and permeabilities for $CO_2$ in a homogeneous membrane of polystyrene with the glass transition temperature of $95^{\circ}C$ were measured at a temperature of $60^{\circ}C$ and gas pressures up to 1.6 MPa and 2.5 MPa, respectively. The sorption isotherm had the form af dual-mode sorption model at low gas pressures, but became linear at pressures above 1.3 MPa. The linear portion of the isotherm extrapolated to the origin. The pressure dependence of the rnean permeability coefficient deviated upward from the dualsrhode mobility model prediction. It was found that the glass transition was brought out by the plasticization action of sotbed $CO_2$ at a gas pressure of 1.3 MPa from the sorption isotherm. And this result was consistent with an increase in the mean permeability coefficient with applied gas pressure.

  • In this paper, a new temperature-insensitive CMOS dual-mode current reference for low-voltage low-power mixed-mode circuits is proposed. The temperature independent reference current is generated by summing a proportional to absolute temperature(PTAT) current and a complementary to absolute temperature(CTAT) current. The temperature insensitivity was achieved by the mobility and the other which is inversely proportional to mobility. As the results, the temperature dependency of output currents was measured to be $0.38{\mu}A/^{\circ}C$ and $0.39{\mu}A/^{\circ}C$, respectively. And also, the power dissipation is 0.84mW on 2V voltage supply. These results are verified by the $0.18{\mu}m$ n-well CMOS parameter.

  • Capillary electrophoresis (CE) is an effective technique to study chiral recognition because it offers flexibility in adjusting vital factors. Currently, various available cyclodextrins (CDs) can be employed for the chiral separation of numerous analytes. Herein, we investigate the enantioseparation behavior of lipoic acid enantiomers in various types of single and dual CD systems through CE. Additionally, several impacted CE parameters were optimized through the systematic investigation based on the design of experiment (DoE) concept for a single system comprising a heptakis (2,3,6-tri-O-methyl)-β-CD and a dual system containing the combination of the single CD with a sulfated-β-CD. Consequently, absolute enantioresolution was obtained within 15 min on a common standard bare fused-silica capillary (64.5/56 cm in total/effective length, 50/365 ㎛ inner/outer diameter), maintained at 15 ℃ and at an applied voltage of 24 kV. The optimal background electrolyte consisted of 6 mM heptakis (2,3,6-tri-O-methyl)-β-CD dissolved in the solution of 58 mM borate buffer at pH 10. Furthermore, the results of apparent binding constant experiments indicated that the S-enantiomer-heptakis (2,3,6-tri-O-methyl)-β-CD complex exhibited a stronger affinity than its R-enantiomer counterpart. The obtained electrophoretic mobility values could be utilized to interpret the resolution achieved at various CD concentrations and the mobility behavior of the complexes elucidated the migration order of the enantiomers in an electropherogram.

  • This paper proposes a seamless handover scheme for high-speed trains using dual mobile routers to minimize service disruption time and packet loss during handovers. In the proposed scheme, each of the dual mobile routers is located at each end of the moving network for space diversity. One of the two mobile routers can continuously receive packets from its home agent, while the other is undergoing a handover, but they act as one logical mobile router. Analytical and simulation results showed that the proposed scheme could provide no service disruption or packet losses during handovers.

  • Structural properties of Cu-Ni alloy films, such as preferred orientation, crystallite size, in-ter-planar spacing, cross-sectional morphology, and electrical resistivity, are investigated in terms of tar-get configurations that are used in the film deposition by means of magnetron co-sputtering. Two different target configurations are considered in this study: a dual-type configuration in which two separate tar-gets (Cu and Ni) and different bias types (RF and DC) are used and a Ni-on-Cu type configuration in which Ni chips are attached to a Cu target. The dual-type configuration appears to have some advantages over the Ni-on-Cu type regarding the accurate control of atomic composition of the deposited Cu-Ni alloy. However, the dual-type-produced film exhibits a porous and columnar structure, the relatively large internal stress, and the high electrical resistivity, which are mainly due to the relatively low mobility of adatoms. The affects of thermal treatment and deposition conditions on the structural and electrical properties of dual-type Cu-Ni films are also discussed.

  • Intra-metropolitan spatial segmentation of the labor marker requires barriers of mobility on both supply and demand side of the local labor marker. The phenomena of spatial segmentation of the labor market are particularly applied to the secondary workers rather than to the primary workers. Supply side barriers include the costs of obtaining job information regarding jobs outside of the immediate area, commuting costs, and barriers to residential mobility. Demand side barriers include site-specific technology and product demand, and discrimination. In this paper, I discuss these barriers and examine their implications for differences in segmentation by demographic and skill groups at the intra-metropolitan scale. In particular, I apply a job search model to examine supply side barriers such as information and commuting costs, and an implicit contract model to explain demand side barriers such as dual/internal labor market and firms' (re) location strategies.

  • In this paper, we have investigated dispersibility, volume resistivity of nano-composite by solution mixing method. Dispersibility measured by FE-SEM(Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscope. And volume resistivity measured by ASTM D991. To expect interaction used dual filler system. But, dual filler system had influence on polymer complex. So, polymer chain mobility doesn't resist.
