수산화나트륨 침출용액으로부터 과산화수소에 의한 침전으로 알루미나 회수 (Recovery of Alumina from Sodium Hydroxide Leaching Solution by Precipitation with Hydrogen Peroxide)

  • 블랙드로스로부터 순수한 알루미나를 회수하기 위해 기계적 처리한 블랙드로스의 수산화나트륨 침출용액을 대상으로 침전실험을 수행했다. 본 연구에서는 합성용액에 과산화수소를 침전제로 첨가했다. 실험변수중 과산화수소의 농도와 과산화수소와 용액의 부피비가 수산화알루미늄의 침전에 큰 영향을 미쳤다. 최적 조건에서 용액중 알루미네이트이온이 대부분 침전되었다. 수산화알루미늄을 $1200^{\circ}C$에서 하소시켜 ${\theta}$${\alpha}$상을 지닌 알루미나를 얻었고 제조한 알루미나의 특성은 XRD와 EDS로 측정했다. 알루미나 입자의 평균 입경은 $3.73{\mu}m$ 이었다.

  • Stencil is used normally as a mask for seeder pasting on pad of PCB. The objective of this study is to develop stencil cutting system and determine optimal conditions which make good-quality stencil by using a Nd:YAG laser. The effects of process parameters such as laser power, type of mask, gas pressure, cutting speed and pulse width old the cut edge quality were investigated. In order to analyse fille cut surface characteristics(roughness, kerf width, dross) optical microscopy, SEM photography and roughness test were used. As a result, the optimal conditions of process parameters were determined, and the practical feasibility of the proposed system is also examined by using a commercial Gerber file for PCB stencil manufacturing.

  • Quality of cut is strongly dependent on the cutting pressure, so this relationship can be identified by pressure measuring system. In this paper, the experiments presented were performed with the devised pressure measuring system and the laser cutting of STS 304. Convergent type and convergent-divergent type nozzle were used for pressure variation of the distance between nozzle and workpiece. In laser cutting of STS 304, 1.0 kW CO $\_$2/ laser used. The convergent type nozzle(1.0 mm diameter) pressured above 3 kgf/cm $\^$2/, the MSD(Mach Shock Disk) created, which caused the the pressure variations of the distance between nozzle and workpiece. The maximum cutting pressure exists in accordance with the variation of distance. In spite of far distance the maximum cutting pressure is achieved by using the pressure measuring system. The higher cutting pressure beneath the workpiece the less quantity of dross and the kerf width. Since the higher cutting pressure helps to remove the quantity of dross and to stop the exothermic energy into the material. The optimum laser cutting parameter of STS 304(2.0 mm thickness) with the convergent type nozzle(1.0 mm diameter)is 0.75 mm and 2.5 mm distance between nozzle and workpiece, 4 kgf/cm $\^$2/ cutting pressure. In 3.0 mm thickness case, 1.5 mm and 2.25 mm distance is achieved for good quality.

  • A 40-channel superconducting quantum interference device (SQUID) system was constructed for measuring neuromagnetic fields. Main features of the system are the use of double relaxation oscillation SQUIDs (DROSs), and planar gradiometers measuring magnetic field components tangential to the head surface. The DROSs with high flux-to-voltage transfers enabled direct readout of the SQUID output by room-temperature dc preamplifiers and simple flux-locked loop circuits could be used for SQUID operation. The pickup coil is an integrated first-order planar gradiometer with a baseline of 40 mm. Average noise level of the 40 channels is around 1.2 $fT/cm/{\surd}Hz$ at 100 Hz, corresponding to a field noise of 5 $fT/{\surd}Hz$, operated inside a magnetically shielded room. The SQUID insert was designed to have low thermal load, minimizing the loss of liquid helium. The constructed system was applied to measure auditory-evoked neuromagnetic fields.

알루미늄 드로스로부터 알루미늄의 회수에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Recovery of Aluminum from Aluminum dross)

  • 알루미늄 드로스로부터 알루미늄 회수에 관한 연구를 행하였다. 알루미늄 드로스의 발생량이 가장 많은 중립(1.0~12.0mm)의 드로스를 시료로 하여 $850^{\circ}C$의 용해온도와 용해 2시간에서 염화나트륨과 염화칼륨의 첨가 영향은 40% 첨가시 약 76.9%로 최대 회수율을 얻었으며, 그 이상 첨가는 점성의 증가로 회수율에 별 영향을 미치지 않았다. 한편, 40%의 기본염용제에 NaF, $CaF_2$, $AlF_3$${Na}_{3}{AlF}_{6}$ 첨가시 5%에서 최대 회수율을 나타내었으며, 특히 5%의 빙정석 첨가시 약 83.5%의 최대 회수율을 얻을 수 있었다. 그러나 불화물을 5% 이상 첨가시에는 점성이 증가하여 알루미늄 회수율에 큰 영향을 미치지 않았다.

함철 폐기물의 용융환원 공정에 관한 분석연구 (An Analysis of Simulation Model for Smelting Reduction Process of Waste Containing Iron Oxide)

  • The computer simulation model was established to verify the applicability of smelting reduction concept to treatment of industrial wastes which becomes issue on the enviromental and recycling view point. Computer simulation model provides as following results. The increase of post combustion ratio(PCR) and heat transfer efficiency of PC energy(HTE) is effective ways to save energy. But, in order to increase PCR, recovery efficiency of post combustion energy(HTE) have to be higher than 85% HTE considering refractory life and saving energy together. Coke is most useful fuel source because it shows lowest dependence of PCR and low hydrogen content. The quality of hot metal of current process would be expected to the similar level with that of blast furnace. The utilization of scrap and Al dross can be also possible to maximize the advantages of current process which is high temperature and chemical dilution with hot metal and slag. In case of scrap, energy consumption was slightly increases because of heating up energy of scrap. Consquently, current process concept provides the possibility of intergrating recycles of industrial wastes materials such as EAF slag, coke oven dust, life terminated acidic refractory, aluminium dross and scrap by smelting reduction process.
