유압 구동방식 타이어 롤러를 위한 유압 시스템 회로분석 및 모델링에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Hydraulic System Circuit Analysis and Modeling of the Hydrostatic Tire Roller)

  • In this research, we are trying to develop the new hydraulic driven tire roller which is conventionally operated by mechanical transmission system. The reason why we would like to develop it is that tire roller is one of the most useful machine for the road construction site and also imported totally from overseas. In this paper, we conceptualize the new hydraulic system and derive the equations of motion for dynamic analysis. And we investigate system modeling by using DAQ system. Finally, we will design the controller, which can manage the hydraulic circuit of steering and traction mechanism system. The advent of modern high-speed computers coupled with the application of high-fidelity simulation technology can be used to create “virtual prototypes of construction equipment. Tests conducted on these virtual prototypes may be used to augment actual machine testing, thereby lowering costs and shortening time to production. So, we studied tire roller to integrate development technology. In System Analysis, We formulate hydraulic driving system model and hydraulic steering system model. Also, We integrate DAQ system to acquire experimental result in real tire roller equipment.

내장형 펌핑 커패시터를 사용한 TFT-LCD 구동 IC용 전하펌프 설계 (A Charge Pump Design with Internal Pumping Capacitor for TFT-LCD Driver IC)

  • 본 논문에서는 TFT-LCD 구동 IC 모듈의 소형화 측면에서 유리한 DC-DC 변환기 회로인 펌핑 커패시터 내장형 크로스-커플드 전하펌프(Cross-Coupled Charge Pump with Internal Pumping Capacitor) 회로가 새롭게 제안되었다. VGH 및 VGL 전하펌프 각각의 입력단과 전하 펌핑 노드를 연결하는 NMOS 및 PMOS 다이오드를 두어, 초기 동작 시 전하 펌핑 노드를 서로 같은 값으로 프리차지하여 대칭 적으로 전하 펌핑을 하도록 하였다. 그리고 첫 번째 전하 펌프의 구조를 다르게 설계하여 펌핑된 전하가 입력단으로 역류되는 현상을 방지하였다. 또한, 펌핑 클럭 구동 드라이버의 위치를 펌핑 커패시터 바로 앞에 두어 기생 저항으로 인한 펌핑 클럭 라인의 전압강하를 방지하여 구동능력을 향상 시켰다. 마지막으로 내장형 펌핑 커패시터를 Stack-MIM 커패시터를 사용하여 기존의 크로스-커플드 전하펌프 보다 레이아웃 면적을 최소화하였다. 제안된 TFT-LCD 구동 IC 용 전하펌프 회로를 $0.13{\mu}m$ Triple-Well DDI 공정을 사용하여 설계하고, 테스트 칩을 제작하여 검증하였다.

  • Automotive pulleys play a key role in driving the cooling pump, oil pump, air-conditioner and so on by using an engine power. Researches on design processes and technologies of the pulleys can be found in many literatures. On the other hand, the areas related to manufacturing processes of the pulleys have been treated negligently. Vast data extracted from various information systems are transformed, integrated, and summarized to become a special database for helping users make a decision. The database, namely the data warehouse has been popularly used in the marketing and customer management of enterprises and recently applied to improve the design and manufacturing processes. In this study the manufacturing process of pulleys were analyzed through the intensive investigation of shop-floors and the interviews with workers and managers. The defects generated during a manufacturing process were categorized in a few types and the causes of defects examined for extracting the dominant parameters in the setup process for producing pulleys. As the first step to construct the data warehouse for the manufacturing processes of pulleys, authors proposed its architecture focused on the reduction of defect rate during the setup process.

유압구동식 선박용 축발전장치의 정속제어 (Constant Speed Control of Shaft Generating System Driven by Hydrostatic Transmission for Ship Use)

  • This study suggests a new type shaft generating system driven by hydrostatic transmission suitable for small size vessels. Since the shaft generating system is affected ceaselessly by disturbances such as speed variation in pump driving speed and variation in external load, a robust servo control must be implemented to obtain stable electric power with constant frequency. Thus, in this study, a digital robust servo control algorithm is applied to the controller design. By the experiment and the numerical computation, the frequency variation characteristics of the generating system under various disturbances are investigated. Conclusively, it is said that the shaft generating system proposed in this study shows excellent control performances.

  • The limited slip differential(LSD) is a device which enables the driving force to be transmitted from one slipping wheel to another wheel in such case that the car is stuck in clay or snow. When the unwanted slipping occurs on one wheel, the LSD temporarily restraints the differential motion to transmit the driving force in the other wheel. So far, many types of LSD were developed such as mechanical lock type, disk clutch type, viscous coupling type, torsion type and multiple clutch type. However these types of LSD is too complicated and expensive, so it is used only for 4WD outdoor vehicles, military vehicles, and a portion of deluxe car. So, many studies has been devoted to improve new types of LSD to cover those demerits of existing LSDs that the hydraulic LSD is developed as arepresentative result of that. The hydraulic LSD which uses the principle of gear pump is packed with viscous oil in tight container. When a slip occurs on one wheel, the hydraulic LSD generates torque caused by high oil pressure in the container. This study has been devoted to suggest an improved hydraulic LSD. In order to achieve it, we designed a new type of hydraulic LSD, produced it and did a rig test with it on real vehicle. From the rig test, it has been confirmed that the new type of hydraulic LSD can be directly applied to exiting vehicles without changing the design criteria

실시간 화재진압을 위한 원격조종 무인소방 시스템 (Tele-operation System of Unmaned Fire Truck for Real-time Fire Suppression)

  • 본 연구는 실시간으로 원격제어가 가능한 무인소방 시스템을 제안한다. 안전지대에 위치한 조종자가 화재현장에 투입된 무인 소방대차를 무선통신으로 원격조종함으로서 재난 및 긴급 상황에 신속하고 안전한 방재 작업을 진행할 수 있다. 이를 위하여, 소화전에 연결되어 고압으로 살수 작업이 가능한 무인 소방트럭에 대하여 제안하고, 이를 시제품으로 개발 하였다. 또한 LTE통신 상황에서 서로 다른 영상형식에 따른 시간지연과 FPS를 정량화하여, 효과적인 실시간 원격 조종 시스템에 대하여 제안하였다. 제안된 시스템의 검증을 위하여, 안전지대의 조종자와 무인소방대차를 3km 떨어진 곳에 위치시키고 주행테스트를 진행하였다. 무인소방대차를 LTE통신을 통하여 접속하고, 영상과 모션을 조종자에게 전달하여 평균 120msec의 시간지연으로 주행 테스트한 실험 결과를 제시한다.

보통형 콤바인 부착용 유채 예취장치 개발(I) - 시작기 설계 및 제작 - (Development of a Rapeseed Reaping Equipment Attachable to a Conventional Combine (I) - Design and Construction of a Prototype -)

  • Bio-diesel applications seem to be extended due to bio-diesel policies and changes of agricultural environment. This study was conducted to develop a rapeseed reaping equipment attachable to the conventional combine. This paper was intended to report concept design, process and manufacturing of the prototype rapeseed reaping equipment. For concept design, physical properties of "SUNMANG", which is a typical rapeseed as bio-diesel materials, were considered. The designed prototype rapeseed reaping equipment consisted of wide-width plates, finger type knifes, side cutter knifes and drive equipments. The wide-width plate is 2.1 m wide, 0.7 m long, and 0.002 m thick. The finger type cutter knifes have 14.5 fingers, 30 knifes, and the specification was 7.6 cm of pitch, 8.3 cm of length and $21^{\circ}$ of cutting angle. The side cutter knifes consisted of a hydraulic pump, a hydraulic motor, a flow control and a relief valve, a hydraulic hose, a driving equipment and a reciprocating cutter knife. The 18 reciprocating cutter knifes were 137 cm long and knife pitch, knife length and cutting angle were 7.7 cm, 10.5 cm, and $18^{\circ}$. Prototype weight of the rapeseed reaping equipment was heavier by 272 kg when compared with the manual reaping equipments. Load distributions of left and right side showed 50% and 49%, and those of front and rear side showed 64% and 36%. Static turn-over angles in left and right of the prototype were $38.1^{\circ}$ and $38.7^{\circ}$, respectively. The designed prototype rapeseed reaping equipment was properly mounted at the front of a conventional combine.

On the Safety and Performance Demonstration Tests of Prototype Gen-IV Sodium-Cooled Fast Reactor and Validation and Verification of Computational Codes

  • The design of Prototype Gen-IV Sodium-Cooled Fast Reactor (PGSFR) has been developed and the validation and verification (V&V) activities to demonstrate the system performance and safety are in progress. In this paper, the current status of test activities is described briefly and significant results are discussed. The large-scale sodium thermal-hydraulic test program, Sodium Test Loop for Safety Simulation and Assessment-1 (STELLA-1), produced satisfactory results, which were used for the computer codes V&V, and the performance test results of the model pump in sodiumshowed good agreement with those in water. The second phase of the STELLA program with the integral effect tests facility, STELLA-2, is in the detailed design stage of the design process. The sodium thermal-hydraulic experiment loop for finned-tube sodium-to-air heat exchanger performance test, the intermediate heat exchanger test facility, and the test facility for the reactor flow distribution are underway. Flow characteristics test in subchannels of a wire-wrapped rod bundle has been carried out for safety analysis in the core and the dynamic characteristic test of upper internal structure has been performed for the seismic analysis model for the PGSFR. The performance tests for control rod assemblies (CRAs) have been conducted for control rod drive mechanism driving parts and drop tests of the CRA under scram condition were performed. Finally, three types of inspection sensors under development for the safe operation of the PGSFR were explained with significant results.

정전 용량형 SP4T RF MEMS 스위치 구동용 4채널 승압 DC-DC 컨버터 (Four Channel Step Up DC-DC Converter for Capacitive SP4T RF MEMS Switch Application)

  • 본 논문에서는 전하 펌프(charge pimp) 방식의 전압 더블러(voltage doubler) 구조를 이용한 4채널 DC-DC 컨버터 개발을 소개한다. 무선 통신 트랜시버 내부에 위치하는 FEM(Front End Module)에서의 사용을 목표로 연구 개발 중인 정전 용량형 SP4T RF MEMS 스위치 구동용 DC-DC 컨버터를 개발하였다. 소비 전력이 적으며 작은 면적을 차지하는 전하 펌프 구조와 10MHz 스위칭 주파수를 이용하여 3.3V에서 $11.3{\pm}0.1V$, $12.4{\pm}0.1V$, $14.1{\pm}0.2V$로 승압한다. 전압 레벨 변환기(Voltage level shifter)를 이용하여 DC-DC 컨버터의 출력을 3.3V 신호로 선택적으로 온오프(on/off) 할 수 있으며 정전 용량형 MEMS 기기에 선택적으로 전달할 수 있도록 구현하였다. 칩 외부에 수동 소자를 추가하지 않고 칩 내부에 CMOS 공정 중에 제작된 저항과 커패시터만으로 원하는 출력을 낼 수 있도록 설계하였다. 전체 칩의 크기는 패드를 포함하여 $2.8{\times}2.1mm^2$이며 소비 전력은 7.52mW, 7.82mW, 8.61mW이다.

  • 본 논문에서는 자동차 계기판의 OLED 디스플레이 모듈용 One-chip DC-DC 변환기 회로를 제안하였다. 전하 펌핑 방식의 OLED 패널 구동전압 회로는 PWM(Pulse Width Modulation) 방식을 사용한 DC-DC 변환기 회로에 비해 소형화, 저가격 및 낮은 EMI 특성을 갖는다. 그리고 Bulk-potential 바이어싱 회로를 사용하므로 전하 펌핑 시 기생하는 PNP BJT에 의한 전하 손실을 방지하도록 하였고, 밴드갭 기준전압 발생기의 Start-up 회로에서 전류소모를 기존 BGR 회로에 비해 42% 줄였고 VDD의 링 발진기 회로에 로직전원인 VLP를 사용하여 링 발진기기 레이아웃 면적을 줄였다. 또한 OLED 구동전압인 VDD의 구동 전류는 OLED 패널에서 요구하는 40mA 이상이다. $0.25{\mu}m$ High-voltage 공정을 이용하여 테스트 칩을 제작 중에 있으며, 레이아웃 면적은$477{\mu}m{\times}653{\mu}m$이다.
