와인 이용 행태에 따른 와인 선택 속성에 관한 연구 - 와인 소매점 이용고객을 중심으로 - (A Study on Wine Selection Attributes by Wine Use Behavior - Focused on Wine Retail Shop Customers -)

  • 최근 몇 년 전부터 불기 시작한 웰빙(well-being) 트렌드와 소비자들의 건강에 대한 관심 증폭으로 인하여 소비자의 주류 패턴에도 변화가 일어나기 시작하였다. 특히 적당한 와인이 동맥경화, 심장병, 노화 방지 등 각종 성인병의 예방에 좋다는 연구 결과가 속속 발표되면서 와인의 소비를 가속시키고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 와인 구매 및 음용 시 고려하는 선택 속성 중요도를 파악하여 고객 만족과 와인 대중화, 저변화에 기여함을 그 목적으로 하였다. 문헌 연구와 실증 연구를 병행한 본 연구는 와인 소매점에서 구매 경험이 있는 서울지역의 내국인 거주자 및 주간 상주 인구를 대상으로 2008년 12월 1일부터 31일까지 설문조사를 하였다. 설문조사에서 수집된 자료의 분석방법은 SPSS 12.0 통계패키지 프로그램을 활용하여 빈도분석, 요인분석, 신뢰성 검증, 일원배치분산분석, 다중회귀분석으로 인구통계학적 특성과 이용 행태에 따른 와인 소비자의 선택 속성 중요도를 분석하였다. 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 음용 횟수, 음용 장소, 정보 원천을 제외한 생산지, 구매처, 구매 비용, 와인 음용 동반자에 따라 와인 구매 및 음용에 유의적 차이를 나타내었다. 둘째, 브랜드 특성, 건강상의 역할 등의 와인 선택 속성 요인은 고객 만족에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

일부 제조업 남성 근로자들의 음주패턴과 수면의 질과의 관련성 (Alcohol Drinking Patterns and Sleep Quality of Male Workers in Manufacturing Industries)

  • 본 연구는 일부 제조업 남성 근로자들의 음주패턴과 수면의 질과의 관련성을 평가할 목적으로 시도하였다. 조사는 2017년 5월에 D 광역시의 제조업 사업장에 근무하고 있는 남성 근로자 553명을 대상으로 구조화된 무기명 자기기입식 설문지에 의한 단면조사를 실시하였다. 자료의 분석은 독립변수로 음주패턴(음주빈도와 1일 음주량을 합산하여 산정한 알코올 섭취량 및 1주간의 알코올 섭취량)을 사용하고, 종속변수로 한국어판 피츠버그수면조사표(PSQI)에 의한 수면의 질을 사용하여 로지스틱회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과, 전체 조사대상자의 56.2%는 수면의 질이 좋지 않은 것으로 평가되었다. 로지스틱회귀분석 결과, 조사대상 남성 근로자들의 수면의 질이 낮을 교차비는 비음주군에 비해 주당 1회 이상 음주군에서 0.44배(95% CI=0.232-0.845) 유의하게 감소하였다. 또한 수면의 질이 낮을 교차비는 비음주군에 비해 매일 19.9g(1잔)이하의 음주군에서 0.31배(95% CI=0.192-0.829), 매일 20.0-60.0g(1-3잔)의 음주군에서 0.28배(95% CI=0.167-0.762) 유의하게 감소하였다. 이 같은 결과는 일부 남성 근로자에서의 수면의 질은 개개인의 음주패턴이 관련하고 있음을 시사한다.

설문조사를 통한 식이섭취 유형과 동맥경화 위험인자에 관한 연구 (A Study on Dietary Intake Pattern and Risk Factors of Atherosclersis in Korean healthy Adults by Dietary Survey)

  • This study was conducted to investigate correlation between soybean and their products consumption and risk factors for atherosclerosis in the healthyKorean adults. Health behaviors such as smoking, exercise, alcohol consumption and dietary patterns and nutrient intakes of 193 healthy adult subjects aged from 26 to 69 were assessed by using interview and semiquantitative food frequency questionnaire. The BMI, blood pressure and biochemical parameters of blood were examined as well as preferences for taste and family history of disease. Data were expressed as quartile according to soybean and their products consumption. The average daily soybean and their product consumption for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th percentile group were 36, 78, 112, and 182g, respectively. The more consumption of soybean and their products, the more intake of energy, protein, lipid, fiber, Ca, cholesterol as well as frequency of exercise, smoking and drinking. Serum TG, total cholesterol and LDL-cholesterol and AI as risk factors of atherosclerosis were positively correlated with smoking and drinking (p<0.05). Especially, serum TG was positively correlated with hypertension and BMI (p<0.01). But, no correlation between exercise, salty taste, meat preference, soybean products consumption and atherosclerosis risk factors was found, which means that life styles such as smoking and drinking rather than dietary habits might influence atherosclerosis in healthy adults. In conclusion, present soy products consumption should be increased by way of developing new generation soy products in order to exert anti-atherosclerotic effect by soybean in human.

수질 취약지역 및 관말에서 플러싱 적용 먹는물 수질 개선 효과 (Effects of flushing techniques on water quality at extremity with low chlorine residuals in drinking water distribution systems)

  • Several complaints from consumers on red or turbid waters were often filed at the same places although various efforts were made to improve water quality in the drinking water plant. The red water problems were occurred due to corrosion of main water pipe, especially at extremity. The low concentrations of chlorine indicating poor water quality were detected at the problematic location. To solve the poor water quality at the extremity, flushing techniques, i.e., conventional flushing, unidirectional flushing, and continuous flushing, were recently practiced. In this study, effects of conventional flushing on water qualities were examined by comparing turbidity and residual chlorine before and after flushing. In addition, more detailed analyses on water qualities at the tap water were conducted to learn a reduction pattern during flushing. Five items from geographic information system of water distribution were used to obtain a relationship with water quality, washing duration or amounts of washing water. The flushing was effective to meet the National Drinking Water Quality Standard with simple and relatively short time operation. The key operational parameter in flushing was amounts of washing water which should be estimated based on water quality of the consumer's tap water. The positive relationship between the residual chlorine and pipe length implied that detention time in the pipeline was the main cause of the complaints. More experiments on effectiveness of flushing are needed to determine reasonable strategies of flushing.

Dietary Patterns and Health Behaviors of Hypertensive Korean Adults

  • Findings from European and American studies have indicated such health behaviors as smoking, drinking, lack of exercise, and insufficient intake of grains, fruits and vegetables as risk factors for hypertension. However, because dietary pattern and health behaviors of Korean differ from people of other countries, the risk factors for Koreans could be different. Therefore, the aim of this study was to identify food consumption patterns and health behavior characteristics of Korean hypertensive adults. Data on food consumptions and other health behaviors such as smoking, drinking, and exercise together with development of hypertension were collected from 597 persons aged 20 to 69 years in a local community. The first stage of analysis utilized cluster analysis to aggregate individuals into different health behavior and food consumption groups. Four health behavior groups were characterized by passive cluster, smoker cluster, fitness cluster and drinker cluster. Food consumption patterns of the subjects were also aggregated into 4 different clusters: dairy cluster, grain & vegetable cluster, fruit cluster, and fish & meat cluster. Then univariate analysis was followed to identify the variables associated with hypertension. The final stage of analysis was the identification of the relative importance of the variables selected from the univariate analysis on hypertension, using multiple logistic analysis. The results showed that heavy drinking was the most significant health behavior associated hypertension, which was similar to the findings in European and American studies. However, unlike the findings from foreign studies, grain and vegetable consumption appeared to be a risk factor for hypertension. A possible reason for the contradictory results between Korean and Western studies may be the dependence of Koreans on white rice as the major staple food, and/or the frequent consumption of salted vegetables, rather than fresh vegetables as is customary in Europe and America.

임부 및 모유수유부와 가임기 여성의 건강행태 비교 (Comparison of Health-related Behaviors in Pregnant Women and Breast-feeding Mothers vs Non-pregnant Women)

  • Purpose: The aim of this study was to assess health-related behavior of pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers by investigating relevant risk factors. Methods: Data of 10,396 women (age 19 to 49 years) from the Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey report from 2007 to 2012 was used to analyze factors associated with health-related behavior. The subjects were divided into pregnant women; breastfeeding mothers; and non-pregnant women. Bottle feeding mothers were excluded. Results: Current smoking rate including self-reported smoker and/or positive cotinine urine test were lower for pregnant or breast-feeding group than non-pregnant group. Heavy-drinking was not different among groups while monthly drinking rate was higher in non-pregnant group. Rate of stress recognition was lower in pregnant and breast-feeding group than non-pregnant group. Rate of experience for depressive symptoms and rate of suicidal ideation were not different among groups. Conclusion: Pregnant women and breast-feeding mothers maintain a good pattern of health- related behavior compared to non-pregnant women. However, substantial proportion of pregnant women and breast-feeding mothers continue to drink and smoke. This shows the need for a plan that will modify health-related behavior.

올림픽대로의 경관향상을 위한 가로공간 구성요소의 물리량과 심리량 분석에 관한 연구 (Studios on the Physical and Psychological Analysis in Street Spaces for Improving the Streetscape of Olympic Daero)

  • Environmental design pattern of the nine Small Urban Spaces at C.B.D. in City of Seoul are surveyed and analyzed for user's satisfaction and behavior under the environmental design evaluation by using Chrisopher Alexander's Pattern Language. Small Urban Spaces as a part of streetscape are formed by physical factors as well as visual environment and interacting user's behavior. Therefore, user's satisfacuion and behavior at the nine Urban Small Spaces were investigated under the further search for some possibilities of a pplication of those Pattern Languages. A pattern language has a structure of a network. It is used in sequence, going through the patterns, moving always from large patterns to smaller, always from the ones which create comes simply from the obsernation that most of the wonderful places of the city were not made by architects but by the people. It defines the limited number of arrangements of spaces that make sense in any given culture. And it actually gives us the power to generate these coherent arrangement of space. As a results, 'Plazl', 'Seats' and 'Accessibility' related design patterns are highly evaluated by Pattern Frequency, Pattern Interaction and their Composition ranks, thus reconfirm Whyte's Praise of urban Small Spaces in our inner city design environments. According to the multiple regression analysis of user's evaluation, the environmental functins related to the satisfaction were 'Plaza', 'Accessibility' and 'Paving'. According to the free response, user's prefer such visually pleasing environmental design object as 'Waterscape' and 'Setting'. In addition to, the basic needs in Urban Small Spaces are amenity facilities as bench, drinking water and shade for rest.

경북 성주지역 장수 노인의 식행동 특성 (Characteristics of Eating Behaviors of the Long-lived Elderly People in Kyungpook Sung-Ju)

  • The purpose of this study was to find out the common characteristics of eating behaviors of the long-lived elderly in order to offer the basic data for establishing dietary guidelines for a long and healthy life for the general population. The subjects were three-hundred elderly people over age 85 living in Kyungpook Sung-ju who have no problems in daily living. The general characteristics, nutrition knowledge and attitudes, meal patterns, and food preferences of the subjects were surveyed by individual intervies. The levels of the nutrition knowledge of the subjects were very low(average score ; 4.3) and the correlation coefficient between their nutrition knowledge and attitude score was also low(r=0.323, p=0.000). Most of the subjects(93%) had a regular meal pattern consuming three meals a day. The major staple food was rice mixed with other grains(75%) and the number of side dishes was mostly under four(99%). A majority(73%) had no habit of overeating and 51% of the subjects were taking snacks besides regular meals. Thirty one percent of the subjects had drinking habits and 80% of the drinking subjects had over 40 years of drinking history. The most common frequencies for intakes of various food groups were ; more than once a day(95%) for vegetables ; 2∼3 times a week(74%) for green and orange color vegetables ; 2∼3 times a week(72%) for fruits ; once a day(70%) for fish, eggs and legumes ; 2∼3 times a week(49%) for milk ; 2∼3 times a week(72%) for fruits ; once a day(70%) for fish, eggs and legumes ; 2-3 times a week(49%) for milk ; 2-3 times a week(85%) for seaweeds and 2-3 times a week(81%) for foods cooked with oil. The most preferred foods by the subjects were white rice(staple foods), soybean paste soup(soups), beef and eggs(meats and eggs), yellow croaker and hair tail(fish and shellfish), yoghurt(milk and milk products), all vegetables except carrot(vegetables), and watermelon(fruits). The popular food preparation methods included mixing with seasonings and the most preferred taste was sweet. The results showed that the eating pattern of long-lived elderly was characterized by regularity, simplicity, and no overeating.

선원들의 스트레스 인지와 그 대처방법에 관한 기초 연구 (A Preliminary Study on the Stress Perception and Ways to Cope with Stress for Seafarers)

  • 본 연구는 선원들이 가지고 있는 스트레스 인지정도와 대처방법을 분석하여 선원들을 위한 스트레스 관리 방안을 마련하는데 기초자료가 되고자 시행한 횡단적 조사연구이다. 연구의 대상은 한국해양수산연수원에서 2003년 10월 20일부터 11월 15일까지 안전교육을 수강하는 선원 428명이었으며 설문지에 의한 방법으로 수집하였다. 연구에 사용된 도구는 스트레스 인지와 대처방법을 측정하는 도구이며, 수집된 자료는 SPSS 10.1 통계 프로그램을 이용하여 서술 통계, t-test, ANOVA로 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 1) 일반적 특성간의 스트레스 인지정도의 차이를 살펴본 결과. 항해 구역, 결혼 상대, 흡연량, 음주 횟수, 운동 횟수, 수면 양상, 수면 시간, 여가 시간, 직업 만족도 특성에서 스트레스 인지정도의 유의한 차이가 있었다. 2) 일반적 특성에 따른 스트레스 대처방법의 차이를 확인한 결과, 집단간 유의한 차이가 있는 특성으로는 현재 신분, 항해 구역, 연령, 승선 경력, 학력, 결혼 상태, 연 수입, 음주 횟수, 음주량, 운동 횟수, 수면 양상, 직업 만족도로 나타났다. 3) 스트레스 인지정도와 대처방법간의 차이를 알아본 결과, 스트레스 점수가 높은 집단이 정서 중심의 대처와 소망적 사고를 많이 하는 것으로 나타났다.

음용 원수의 염소소독에 의한 소독부산물 생성패턴에 관한 연구 (A Study on Formation Pattern of DBPs by Disinfection of Drinking Raw Water)

  • 한강에서 채취한 원수에 염소소독제인 hypochlorite를 $10{\mu}g/m{\ell}$의 농도로 투여한 후 1시간~14일까지 TOC (total organic carbon), 잔류염소량 및 탁도 등을 측정하고 THMs (trihalomethanes), HANs (haloacetonitriles), HKs (haloketones), chloral hydrate 및 HAAs (haloacetic acids) 등의 염소소독 부산물의 생성율을 조사하였다. 그 결과 잔류염소량은 투여후 1시간 경과 시 $6{\mu}g/m{\ell}$ 이상에서 14일째에 $1.23{\mu}g/m{\ell}$으로 감소하였으며 TOC 및 탁도는 큰 차이가 없었다. 7일 후 발생한 총 소독부산 물의 농도는 $101.3ng/m{\ell}$ (789.6 nM)이며 이 중 THMs이 69%로 가장 큰 비중을 차지하였다. 그 외에 HAAs가 19%, chloral hydrate가 10% 정도 검출되었으며, HANs와 HKs 및 chloropicrin 등은 미량 검출되었다. THMs 중에서는 chloroform이 $61.5ng/m{\ell}$로 총 THMs 중 약 89% 정도를 차지하였으며 HANs 중에서는 DCAN이 95%인 $0.72ng/m{\ell}$, HAAs 중에서는 TCAA가 50% 등으로 가장 높은 비율로 검출되었다. 각 부산물의 발생량의 상관관계를 조사한 결과 THMs과 HANs의 경우 THMs의 농도가 $40ng/m{\ell}$인 지점을 경계로 HANs과 경쟁적 발생관계가 있음이 나타났다. HAAs의 경우는 특별한 경향성을 나타내지 않았으나 전체적으로 초기에 산화상태가 큰 화합물에서 산화상태가 작은 화합물로 점차 변화하는 것으로 관찰되었다.
