By applying Systems Simulation technique, this paper aims to investigates the dynamics underlying the coevolution of IT(information technology) and the society. Particularly, a series of basic questions are explored to answer by developing a simulation model for the mechanisms underlying the 'hype curve' ever occurring in the course of technology diffusion into society: First, why hype curve appears in the process of technology and society coevolution. Second, how to enhance the tapering level at the final stage of coevolution. Third, what are the key policy leverages and when is the right time for the policy intervention. As now, inflated expectations regarding ubiquitous information technology (u-IT) are growing very fast and higher than those for the previous technologies, which would result in overshoot followed by collapse of visibility and thus incur tremendous amount of social costs. In this regard implications drawn from this study perhaps give some insights not necessarily to the academics but also to the practitioners and policy makers facing the advent of u-IT as a new emerging horizon of information society.

Purpose - This paper objectively analyzes the effects of globalization on Zimbabwe's business and economic development using the Business in Context (BIC) model. Research design, data, and methodology - We employed a qualitative research methodology, following an exploratory secondary research design in this paper. Results - The findings reveal that businesses in Zimbabwe have benefited from globalization as it has drawn investments from international companies in the country. In addition, the business sector is benefiting from the economies of scale realized from the investments made by companies in Africa, East Asia, Europe, and America. However, we also discover that globalization has resulted in the proliferation of cheap sub-standard goods and services from East Asia, and has increased competition between indigenous companies and foreign-owned multinationals. Conclusion - Our findings suggest that globalization has both positive and negative effects on business and economic development in Africa in general, and Zimbabwe in particular. However, we note that the advantages, to a certain extent, outweigh the disadvantages. What, then, could be the way forward for Zimbabwe, in the face of globalization? As a solution, this paper recommends the development of a policy on global associations by the Zimbabwean government, to enhance business and economic development.

The main purpose of this study is to find the factors affecting the consumer goods buyers' choice on e-commerce sites in Vietnam. By using the quantitative method, the paper examines the theoretical research model and tests four hypotheses. The sample was drawn from the population of e-commerce sites in Vietnam comprising about 1,000 respondents. This study used the questionnaire method to collect primary data to test the hypotheses. Data analysis of the questionnaire was done using SPSS. The results show that there is a correlation between personal preferences of consumers on colors and brands and their actual final choice on e-commerce sites in Vietnam. The most important factor affecting the consumer goods buyers' choice on e-commerce in Vietnam is the brand of E-commerce site, following by the color and position. Among all educational groups, respondents with a Master degree pay the biggest attention to the site's color attribute, and those with a Bachelor degree pay more attention to the brand attribute. Women pay much more attention to the location of the products on the screen than men, as do consumers with a PhD degree, over respondents with a Bachelor or Master degree, and foreigners over Vietnamese consumers.

The tax exemption oil for fishery is expecting that the use of oil is gradually decreasing according to the environmental change such as reductions of vessel force caused by an upswing of oil prices and reduction of fishing vessels in the recent. Such reductions in the tax exemption oil amount have a negative effect on the tax exemption oil business and the fishery infrastructure. This paper studied to provide the basic data for a stable supply thorough the facts affected in the use of the tax exemption oil and the prediction for the use of the tax exemption oil in future. This analysis drew a estimation method by Cochrane-Orcutt repeated proceeding model with an object main factors such as a price of tax exemption oil and vessel force and international oil prices and exchange rates. And this analysis also drew the use of a tax exemption oil by 2000 after set up the scenario using an estimation method drawn. For the use of the estimated tax exemption oil analyzed to decrease within about 81 percent of the present(2020), It should be considering a stability plan for tax exemption oil for fishery in future.

많은 게임 개발자와 마케터들은 고객의 정보 분석과 질적 서비스 제공을 위해 지속적으로 진보하는 다양한 인터넷 기술을 이용하고 있다. 하지만 일반적으로 활용되는 인터넷 고객분석 기술로서는 웹 페이지나 커뮤니티 활동으로부터의 단편적인 게임이용자의 정보만을 얻을 수 있을 뿐이다. 따라서 본 논문은 실제로 게임이용자에 대한 정보를 지속적으로 수집하고 분석할 수 있는 시스템을 구축하여 효과적인 서비스를 제공하기 위하여 고객에 대한 체계적인 관리 모델인 CRM(Customer Relationship Management)을 게임에 적용 하고자 한다. 이러한 CRM을 게임 시스템에 적용하기 위해서는 1) CRM의 구성요소 2) 게임 분야의 고객의 특징 3) 효율적인 게임에 CRM 시스템 구현 모델을 기초하여 연구한다.

본 논문은 경제주체들이 미래에 대한 기대를 형성하는 데 있어서 기대기간이 주요한 역할을 한다는 점을 밝히는 시도이다. 정보효율성과 관련된 경제학적 가정이 확률과정에 어떠한 제약으로 작용하는지에 대한 분석으로부터 출발하여, 기대변수에 대한 조정과정이 오로지 새로이 발생한 정보만을 반영하는 경우를 미래기대의 임의보정(random revision of expectation)이라는 새로운 개념으로 제시하였다. 이러한 가정하에 물가동학 결정식을 도출할 경우, 산출갭으로 측정한 수요압력의 인플레이션에 대한 영향은 기대기간에 따라 달리 식별되었다. 이러한 모형을 우리나라 자료를 이용하여 실증한 결과, 기대기간을 단기로 설정할 경우 계수 추정치는 작아지고 통계적 유의성도 떨어지는 것으로 나타났다.

In mobile communications, a class of variable-complexity algorithms for convolutional decoding known as sequential decoding algorithms is of interest since they have a computational time that could vary with changing channel conditions. The Fano algorithm is one well-known version of a sequential decoding algorithm. Since the decoding time of a Fano decoder follows the Pareto distribution, which is a heavy-tailed distribution parameterized by the channel signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), buffers are required to absorb the variable decoding delays of Fano decoders. Furthermore, since the decoding time drawn by a certain Pareto distribution can become unbounded, a maximum limit is often employed by a practical decoder to limit the worst-case decoding time. In this paper, we investigate the relations between buffer occupancy, decoding time, and channel conditions in a system where the Fano decoder is not allowed to run with unbounded decoding time. A timeout limit is thus imposed so that the decoding will be terminated if the decoding time reaches the limit. We use discrete-time semi-Markov models to describe such a Fano decoding system with timeout limits. Our queuing analysis provides expressions characterizing the average buffer occupancy as a function of channel conditions and timeout limits. Both numerical and simulation results are provided to validate the analytical results.

고성능 소형 액체로켓에 적용되는 산화제 과잉 예연소기의 시제품 제작을 수행하였다. 항공우주연구원에서 해석, 설계한 모델을 바탕으로 예연소기의 레이아웃을 설계하고 시제품 설계와 제작을 위해 수류시험용 평판 브레이징 시제품 제작 및 시험, 구조강도 시험용 헤드 시제품 제작 및 시험, 구조강도 시험용 채널 시제품 제작 및 시험 등을 진행하였다. 이러한 일련의 시험을 통해 예연소기 시제품을 설계하고 제작을 위한 세부사항을 확인하였으며, 이러한 노력을 통해 향후 고성능 액체로켓 개발을 위한 기술기반을 확립할 수 있으리라 사료된다.

In this paper, a new size-dependent quasi-3D plate theory is presented for wave dispersion analysis of functionally graded nanoplates while resting on an elastic foundation and under the hygrothermaal environment. This quasi-3D plate theory considers both thickness stretching influences and shear deformation with the variations of displacements in the thickness direction as a parabolic function. Moreover, the stress-free boundary conditions on both sides of the plate are satisfied without using a shear correction factor. This theory includes five independent unknowns with results in only five governing equations. Size effects are obtained via a higher-order nonlocal strain gradient theory of elasticity. A variational approach is adopted to owning the governing equations employing Hamilton's principle. Solving analytically via Fourier series, these equations gives wave frequencies and phase velocities as a function of wave numbers. The validity of the present results is examined by comparing them with those of the known data in the literature. Parametric studies are conducted for material composition, size dependency, two parametric elastic foundation, temperature and moisture differences, and wave number. Some conclusions are drawn from the parametric studies with respect to the wave characteristics.

This paper proposes a new solid-shape modeling system based on a lusterware-image illustration. The proposed method reconstructs a three dimensional solid shape from a set of rough sketches that are typically drawn in the early stages of the design process. The sketches do not have to be strictly accurate, and this tolerance to the roughness of the input sketches is one of the major advantages of the proposed method. The proposed system creates an initial shape based on the silhouette of the input lusterware-images. Then the user can edit the initial shape with intuitive cutting and dishing-up operations, which are based on sketching user interface. To achieve the goal, the system retains the geometric model with two representations: a point-set data and a volume data. This dual data structure allows the program to create an initial shape from the input images with little computational cost, and the user can apply cutting and dishing-up operations without substantially increasing computational and memory requirements. In this research, we have tested the proposed system by reconstructing solid models of some mechanical parts from rough sketches. The experimental results indicate that the proposed method is useful for the prototyping of a solid shape.
