Display System Design for Signifying the Received Signals of the Mobile Phone (휴대폰 착신 알림을 위한 모바일 디스플레이 시스템 설계)

  • In this paper, we developed a phone call display system or "alimi" for displaying the received phone data at limited space that can not carry a mobile phone and and its validity was confirmed. It consists of a data communication application transmitting the phone data via bluetooth, a RF data repeater to extend the range of data communication, and a display system part for displaying the received phone data to the phone user. It has economy in terms of system installation because the implementation of the proposed system is simple and low cost installation is possible. As ordinary mobile phones users using the system can easily utilize it by downloading the application on the app. store, it has economy and convenience checking whether a call is received.

  • It is easy to access to the infinity information and programs, but it gives rise to the side effect. There are many side effects(ex. Hacking, Cracking, expose the personal information, etc). Nowadays, the computer virus raise the serious problems. The making program called Vaccine is work out a count measure. The Anti-Virus programs install on the client side computer and upgrade by downloading on the server's signature, the latest date, the program bound both of them is shown, but these programs have the defect that they have no remote control and no signature update because user's unconcern, This paper reported the research of existing virus infecting technology and the development of Web based Anti-Virus Scanner using the remote control on the internet server. Through this paper, I want to set up the counter measure for new virus easily, and to make more fast the vaccine for virus.

  • In this paper, we developed digital TV commerce system using mobile device for multimedia service. This system combines TV and mobile device, and enables a TV viewer to purchase and download the multimedia contents such as songs and video programs onto the mobile devices instantly when the viewer watches the contents. Our system is different from the conventional TV commerce system in the sense that it combines digital TV and mobile device for better service, and the contents such as songs, videos and games are downloaded directly to the devices. Furthermore, our system's data flow is designed for utilizing cheaper network to save costs. We implemented this new service system, and in this paper, we describe the service in detail, comparing with conventional TV commerce system, and we present the architecture and preliminary implementation of the proposed system.

Elementary School Teachers' Needs for the Website Providing Science Instructional Materials (과학 교수-학습 자료 지원 웹사이트에 대한 초등 교사들의 요구)

  • In this study, elementary school teachers' needs for the website providing science instructional materials were examined. The participants were 151 elementary school teachers. The test for needs analysis consisted of fifty-three Likert-type items; 24 items for the content of website category and 29 items for the design of website category. Variables about participants' characteristics such as teaching career, the capability of using computers, and the frequencies of searching websites in obtaining science instructional materials were also examined. The results indicated that teachers' needs for the content of website category were significantly higher than those for the design of website category. Teachers' needs were relatively higher in the items concerning flawless materials, consistency of materials with science curriculum and/or learning objectives, information about target grade and/or related topics, free website, and the materials capable of immediate use in the content of website category. The items concerning the stability of website, the accuracy of links, providing easy and reliable searching methods, easy and fast downloading, and providing list of loaded materials showed relatively higher needs in the design of website category. In several items, teachers' needs were also changed with their individual characteristics.

  • Web Game provides computer games through a web browser, and have several benefits. First, we can access the game through web browser easily if we are connected to the internet environment. Second, usually we don't need much space of a game data for downloading it into a local disk. Nowadays, an industry area of Web Game has a chance to grow through advancements of mobile computing technologies and an age of Web 2.0. This study proposes a Web Game system that users can apply to manipulate the game with multimodal interfaces and mobile devices for intuitive interactions. In this study, multi modal interfaces are used to efficient control the game, and both ordinary computers and mobile devices are applied to the game scenarios. The proposed system is evaluated in both performance and user acceptability in comparison with previous approaches. The proposed system reduces total clear time and numbers of errors of the experiment in a mobile device. It can also provide good satisfactions of users.

Screening of Differentially Expressed Genes Related to Bladder Cancer and Functional Analysis with DNA Microarray

  • Objective: The purpose of this study was to identify genes related to bladder cancer with samples from normal and disease cases by microarray chip. Methods: After downloading the gene expression profile GSE3167 from Gene Expression Omnibus database which includes 50 bladder samples, comprising 9 normal and 41 disease samples, differentially expressed genes were identified with packages in R language. The selected differentially expressed genes were further analyzed using bioinformatics methods. Firstly, molecular functions, biological processes and cell component analysis were researched by software Gestalt. Then, software String was used to search interaction relationships among differentially expressed genes, and hub genes of the network were selected. Finally, by using plugins of software Cytoscape, Mcode and Bingo, module analysis of hub-genes was performed. Results: A total of 221 genes were identified as differentially expressed by comparing normal and disease bladder samples, and a network as well as the hub gene C1QBP was obtained from the network. The C1QBP module had the closest relationship to production of molecular mediators involved in inflammatory responses. Conclusion: We obtained differentially expressed genes of bladder cancer by microarray, and both PRDX2 and YWHAZ in the module with hub gene C1QBP were most significantly related to production of molecular mediators involved in inflammatory responses. From knowledge of inflammatory responses and cancer, our results showed that, the hub gene and its module could induce inflammation in bladder cancer. These related genes are candidate bio-markers for bladder cancer diagnosis and might be helpful in designing novel therapies.

  • The recent technology boom has created a new digital age. With the help of information technology consumers can have more power than ever and they use digital contents more than ever. This study relates consumer attitude to the recent digital contents using behavior about digital file-sharing. Through the use of the multimethod approach, we identify four characteristics can affect illegal digital contents using behavior. The methodology used was to take in depth look at the consumer with phenomenology as a qualitative research. We select 6 participants who have experience of digital content using. We also examine the structural configurations of the relationship between digital contents characteristics and illegal downloading intention. We surveyed 200 people who also had experience of digital content. This research gives theoretical and practical implication to the marketers related to online communication.

Design and Implementation of a Virtual Machine for Embedded Systems (임베디드 시스템을 위한 가상기계의 설계 및 구현)

  • This paper presents the EVM(Embedded Virtual Machine) which enables the execution of dynamic applications loaded in the embedded systems such as Mobile Devices(mobile phone, PDA), Set-Top Box, and Digital TV using downloading techniques. To accomplish this goal, we defined a SIL-(Standard Intermediate Language) code, and implemented a Bytecode-to-SIL translator which enables the execution of programs written in java language in the EVM platform without JVM, and a MSIL--to-SIL- translator which enables for programs written in .NET language to be executed in the EVM platform without .NET platform. Also, we developed a EFF(Executable File Format) builder as an assembler which translates SIL codes into an executable file, *.evm, and implemented the EVM which reads the *.evm file and executes it. The virtual machine for embedded systems developed in this paper is the software technologies that enable the execution of applications or contents without changes to when the platforms change. In fact, the virtual machine suggested here is not only usable as a standard model for existing virtual machines but also aid in more efficient execution of applications loaded in the embedded systems such as Mobile Devices, Digital TV, and Set-Top Box.

  • XML and Web Services draw a lot of attention as standard technologies for data exchange and integration among heterogeneous platforms XML/A, which supports such technologies, is a SOAP based XML APl that facilitates data exchange between a client application and a data analysis engine through the Internet. The fact that the XML format is used for data exchange makes XML/A to be platform-independent. However. client application developers have to go through a tedious Job of treating the same type of XML documents fur downloading data from the server. Also, an XML query language is needed for extracting data from the XML documents sent by the server. In this paper, we present a high level client OLAP API, called DXML, for the client application developers in the windows environment to easily use the OLAP services of XML/A. XMLMD consists of properties and methods needed for OLAP application development. XMLMD is to XML/A what ADOMD is to OLEDB for OLAP. We also present a web OLAP cube browser that is developed using XMLMD. The browser display's data in various formats such as XML, HTML, Excel, and graph.

The proposed IoT or IIoT based Download OTA (Over-the-Air) provides a flexible mechanism for downloading Media objects of any type and size from a network. Moreover, proposed IoT based DLOTA provides a part of security by lightweight encryption, OTP, and CapBAC technique.
