고로슬래그 미분말을 사용한 고유동 수중불분리성 콘크리트의 최적배합비 도출 (Optimum Mix Proportions of High Fluidity Antiwashout Underwater Concrete Using Ground Granulated Blast Furnace Slag)

  • 최근, 장대교량의 해상기초 구조물에 수중불분리성 콘크리트의 사용이 증가되고 있다. 그러나, 해상기초 구조물에 사용되는 수중불분리성 콘크리트의 공사기간을 단축시키기 위해서는 이전의 수중불분리성 콘크리트보다 유동성을 크게 개선시키는 고유동 수중불분리성 콘크리트의 제조가 필요하다. 따라서 본 연구의 목적은 해상기초 구조물에 사용되는 고유동 수중불분리성 콘크리트의 최적배합비를 도출하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 단위결합재량 550, 600kg/$m^3$ 각각에 대해서 수중불분리성 혼화제 첨가량별로 고로슬래그 미분말을 혼입한 콘크리트를 제작하였다. 제작된 콘크리트의 슬럼프 플로, 응결시간, 수중분리저항성 및 압축강도 비와 같은 품질성능을 관련 규격에 따라 평가하였다. 결국, 고로슬래그 미분말을 혼입한 고유동 수중불분리성 콘크리트는 관련 규격을 만족시키는 수중불분리성 혼화제의 최소 첨가량이 필요한 것으로 나타났다.

  • 알칼리활성고로슬래그(AAS)는 이산화탄소 배출 부하가 큰 OPC의 가장 확실한 대체 재료로써 구조재로 이용하기 위해서는 내구성 평가 및 검증이 필요하다. 내구성 평가지표의 큰 비중을 차지하고 있는 것이 탄산화 저항성인데, AAS는 OPC에 비해 탄산화 저항성이 약한 것으로 알려져 있다. 이 연구에서는 AAS의 빠른 탄산화 특성과 그 원인을 알아보기 위해 탄산화 전후 물리적 특성 변화와 탄산화에 의해 수화생성물들이 어떤 변화를 보이는지 살펴보았다. 그 결과 AAS는 OPC와 달리 수화생성물의 대부분이 CSH이며, 수산화칼슘이 거의 생성되지 않았고, AAS의 CSH는 OPC의 CSH와 다른 구조임을 알 수 있었다. AAS는 탄산화 후 CSH가 비정질의 실리카겔로 변하고, 일부 알루미나화합물은 구조가 완전 붕괴되어 탄산화 후 식별되지 않는데, 이 때문에 AAS는 탄산화 후 압축강도가 약해진 것으로 판단된다. AAS의 활성화제의 첨가량을 높이면, 빠른 반응속도로 CSH의 생성량이 많아지고 조직이 치밀해져서 압축강도와 탄산화저항성이 향상된다.

전도성 섬유가 함유된 시멘트 모르타르의 미세구조 및 전기적 특성 연구 (Study on Microstructure and Electrical Properties of Cement Mortar Containing Conductive Fibers)

  • 본 논문에서는 전도성 재료인 탄소섬유(carbon fiber, CF)와 강섬유(steel fiber, SF)를 함유한 시멘트 모르타르의 미세구조 및 전기적 특성, 압축강도에 미치는 영향을 연구하였다. 전도성 섬유보강 시멘트 모르타르(fiber-reinforced cement mortar, FRCM)의 비저항은 4-probe 방법을 이용하여 측정하였고, 압축강도는 압축시험을 기반으로 측정하였다. 이들의 성능은 플레인 모르타르(plain mortar, PM)와 비교, 검토하였다. 게다가 전도성 FRCM 파단면의 표면형상과 구성성분은 주사전자현미경(scanning electron microscope, SEM)과 에너지 분산형 X-ray 분광분석기(energy disperse X-ray spectrometer, EDS)를 이용하여 분석하였다. 그 결과 모든 시편에서 양생재령이 경과됨에 따라 비저항이 점차 증가하는 반면, 섬유혼입률이 증가할수록 비저항은 상당히 감소하였다. 강섬유를 1.25%까지 추가하여도 시멘트 모르타르의 비저항에는 크게 영향을 미치지 않았다. 대조적으로, 탄소섬유는 낮은 함량(즉, 0.1~0.3%)에서도 비저항이 다소 감소하였고, 그 이후에는 현저히 저하되었다. 본 실험에 사용된 CF가 함유된 전도성 CFRCM의 침투 임계점은 0.4%이었고, 압축강도 성능을 유지하면서 전도성 효과를 극대화하는 최적의 탄소섬유 혼입량이라고 판단된다. 전도성 FRCM의 표면형상 및 구성성분 분석을 위해 SEM/EDS를 통해 파단면을 관찰하였다. 이러한 결과는 시멘트 모르타르 내에서 보강섬유의 미세구조 메커니즘을 확립하는 데 매우 유용할 것으로 사료된다.

Mock-Up 시험에 의한 고성능 콘크리트의 수축특성 분석 (Evaluation of Shrinkage Properties Based on Mock-Up Testin High Performance Concrete)

  • 본 연구는 개발된 저수축 고성능 콘크리트를 대상으로 모의부재 시험체에 있어서 콘크리트의 기초적 물성과 수축특성에 대하여 검토한 것이다. 실험연구 결과, 콘크리트의 배합특성으로 제안 배합은 목표 슬럼프플로우 및 목표 공기량을 만족하기 위해 SP제량 증가, AE제량 감소의 배합보정이 필요하였다. 응결시간은 제안 배합이 8시간 정도 빠르게 나타났으며, 굳은 콘크리트의 압축강도는 60MPa 이상의 고강도로 나타냈다. 수축특성으로 제안 배합 자기수축의 경우 플레인 배합 자기수축에 비해 50% 정도 저감되었고, 제안 배합의 중심부 건조수축은 수분발산이 없는 것에 기인하여 자기수축과 유사한 경향이었으나, 표면부는 크게 수축하였다. 단, 철근배근 시험체인 경우는 철근구속에 의해 내부 및 표면의 수축량이 작게 나타났다.

하수오 물 추출물이 마우스 골다공증에 미치는 영향 (Antiosteoporotic Effects of Polygoni Multiflori Radix (PMR) in Ovariectomized (OVX)-Induced Osteoporosis ddY Mice)

  • Polygoni Multiflori Radix (PMR), a dried root tuber of Polygonum multiflorum Thunberg with bioactivities in bone metabolism is one of the most famous tonic traditional medicines. To observe in vivo anti-osteoporotic efficacy of PMR extracts, we orally administered once a day for 28 days (Qd ${\times}$ 28) to bilateral ovariectomized (OVX)-induced osteoporosis ddY mice after 1 week of recovery periods at 125, 250 and 500 mg/kg (of body weight). A positive control drug, Alendronate (FOSA) 10 mg/kg-dosing group was added. As results of OVX-induced osteoporotic process, estrogen-deficient osteoporotic changes were also dramatically decreased in all PMR extracts-dosing groups. Especially middle dosage of PMR extracts, 250 mg/kg constantly and significantly (p < 0.01 or p < 0.05) inhibited the loss of bone strength and bone quality. Based on the results, it was concluded that PMR extracts (125, 250 or 500 mg/kg; orally dosing) has relatively good favorable effect to prevention and/or treatment of OVX-induced osteoporosis. Therefore, although the efficacy was slighter than that of Alendronate on the inhibition of bone loss, it is expected that PMR extracts will be promising as a new anti-osteoporotic agents for prevent the fracture induced in osteoporotic patients because natural herbal medicine origin PMR extracts will be dose not show serious side effects especially the problem in upper alimentary irritation by bisphosphonate and hypercalcaemia of parathyroid hormone analogs.

LbL 다층흡착에 의한 나노피브릴화 셀룰로오스의 표면 개질과 현탁액의 탈수성에 미치는 영향 (Surface Modification of Nanofibrillated Cellulose by LbL (Layer-by-Layer) Multilayering and its Effect on the Dewatering Ability of Suspension)

  • In this study, we modified the surface of nanofibrillated cellulose (NFC) through LbL (Layer-by-Layer) multilayering process with polyelectrolytes and investigated the effects of the NFC modification on the charge of NFC surface and the dewatering ability of NFC suspension. The multilayering process was done onto NFC fibers using polydiallyldimethylammonium chloride (PDADMAC) and poly-sodium 4-styrene sulfonate (PSS) under different dosage and washing conditions. When the washing was carried out in every adsorption stage, the modified NFC had strong cationic or anionic charge depending on the type of polyelectrolyte in the outermost layer and the dewatering ability was not affected. In the case of no washing treatment or washing in the final adsorption stage, however, the zeta potential of NFC was close to an isoelectric point so that the dewatering ability increased remarkably. Low addition level of polyelectrolytes also showed the similar results. The mixing of NFC suspensions with opposite charge resulted in higher network strength and improved dewatering ability due to the flocculation.

  • Bio-binder is well known as a promising alternative binder for SB latex because it is eco-friendly and inexpensive, compared to synthetic latex. SB latex in top coating color was substituted with starch-based bio-binder to investigate its effects on the coating color and its coated paper properties. Bio-binder contributed to the increase of coating color viscosity, and the improvement of water retention. Most optical properties except opacity were deteriorated by the increase of bio-binder dosage. It was also found that the increase of bio-binder substitution in top coating color brought about the increase of roughness, and decrease of coated paper gloss, print gloss, dry and wet pick strength. However the stiffness and the ink set-off of the bio-binder coated paper were improved. Overall, mostly adverse effects of bio-binder on the properties of coating color and its paper were observed. Therefore, it is not recommended to use bio-binder as top coating color.

  • Objectives : This report describes 75 studies related to the use of Zingiberis siccatum Rhizoma mainly blended from Dongeuibogam. Methods : The 75 Prescriptions of Consumptive part in DonguiBogam analysed frequency of basic prescriptions, symptoms of prescriptions and the pathology. Results : Prescriptions that Zingiberis siccatum Rhizoma was taken as a monarch drug are utilized for 25 therapeutic purposes, for example, cold disease, stool disease, cough disease. In particular, 16.0% of prescriptions appear in the chapter of cold. Prescriptions that utilize Zingiberis siccatum Rhizoma as the main component are used in the treatment of cold, stool and cough disease. Zingiberis siccatum Rhizoma is used in pathogenic factors such as weakness cold and cold strength and used in pathology related to the spleen and stomach system. The dosage of Zingiberis siccatum Rhizoma is 5pun(about 1.88g) to 4nyang(about 150.4g), however 1don(about 3.75g) has been taken the most for clinical application. Ijungtang is the most useful base prescriptions which use the Zingiberis siccatum Rhizoma as the main ingredient. Conclusions : As a result of Study on Analysis all Prescriptions of Zingiberis siccatum Rhizoma in DonguiBogam. We can understand more about basic prescriptions, symptoms of prescriptions and the pathology that are using for Zingiberis siccatum Rhizoma.

위내체류를 목적으로 한 알부민 가교 PVP 하이드로겔의 팽윤특성 (Albumin-Crosslinked PVP Hydrogel as a Gastric Retention Platform)

  • Retaining a drug in the stomach by some means is sometimes necessary to extend the G1 absorption time of the drug more than 6-8 hrs. Hydrogel has often been examined for its feasibility as a dosage form, so called platform, that could be retained in the stomach due to its excellent swelling properties in the gastric fluid. In this study, polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) hydrogel crosslinked by albumin or acrylated albumin was synthesized in a tablet form and evaluated for its possibility as the platform. The synthesis of the hydrogel was performed by $^{60}Co\;{\gamma}-ray$ irradiation of N-vinyl-2-pyrrolidone (monomer) in the presence of a crosslinking agent: aqueous solution of albumin or acrylated albumin. Synthetic conditions such as radiation dose, dose rate and concentration of crosslinking agent were varied in order to optimize the swelling and mechanical properties of the hydrogels. Degree of swelling of albumin-crosslinked PVP (Al-PVP) was highly dependent on radiation dose, dose rate and albumin concentration: it was decreased as they increased. On the other hand, that of acrylated albumin-crosslinked PVP (Acryl-PVP) was almost independent on them except dose rate: it was decreased as the radiation dose rate increased. The compressive strength of the two hydrogels was decreased as the dose rate increased. Digestion of both PVP in artificial gastric fluid containing pepsin was delayed by the ${\gamma}-ray$ irradiation. In conclusion, Al-PVP and Acry-PVP with diverse swelling and mechanical properties could be obtained by controlling synthetic conditions, mainly the irradiation dose rate.

Removal of different anionic dyes from aqueous solution by anion exchange membrane

  • Adsorption is a widely used technique for the removal of dyes from wastewaters by variety of adsorbents. In this work, the main focus is on the potential assessment of anion exchange membrane for the removal of different dyes using batch system and investigation of experimental data by applying various kinetic and thermodynamic models. The removal of anionic dyes i.e., Eosin-B, Eriochrome Black-T and Congo Red by anion exchange membrane BII from aqueous solution was carried out and effect of various parameters such as contact time, membrane dosage, temperature and ionic strength on the percentage removal of anionic dyes was studied. The experimental data was assessed by kinetic models namely pseudo-first-order, pseudo-second-order, Elovich liquid film diffusion, Bangham and the modified Freundlich models equation have been used to analyze the experimental data. These results indicate that the adsorption of these anionic dyes on BII follows pseudo-second-order kinetics with maximum values of regression coefficient (0.992-0.998) for all the systems. The adsorption of dyes was more suitable to be controlled by a liquid film diffusion mechanism. The adsorptive removal of dye Eosin-B and Eriochrome Black-T were decreased with temperature and thermodynamic parameters such as free energy (${\Delta}G^o$), enthalpy (${\Delta}H^o$) and entropy (${\Delta}S^o$) for adsorption of dyes on membrane BII were calculated at 298 K, 308 K and 318 K. The values of enthalpy and entropy were negative for EB and EBT representing that the adsorption of these dyes on BII is physiosorptive and exothermic in nature. Whereas the positive values of enthalpy and entropy for CR adsorption on BII, indicating that its adsorption is endothermic and spontaneous in nature. It is evident from this study that anion exchange membrane has shown good potential for the removal of dyes from aqueous solution and it can be used as adsorbent for dues removal on commercial levels.
