Analysis of Domestic Research Trends on Artificial Intelligence-Based Prognostics and Health Management (인공지능 기반 건전성 예측 및 관리에 관한 국내 연구 동향 분석)

  • Purpose: This study aim to identify the trends in AI-based PHM technology that can enhance reliability and minimize costs. Furthermore, this research provides valuable guidelines for future studies in various industries Methods: In this study, I collected and selected AI-based PHM studies, established classification criteria, and analyzed research trends based on classified fields and techniques. Results: Analysis of 125 domestic studies revealed a greater emphasis on machinery in both diagnosis and prognosis, with more papers dedicated to diagnosis. various algorithms were employed, including CNN for image diagnosis and frequency analysis for signal data. LSTM was commonly used in prognosis for predicting failures and remaining life. Different industries, data types, and objectives required diverse AI techniques, with GAN used for data augmentation and GA for feature extraction. Conclusion: As studies on AI-based PHM continue to grow, selecting appropriate algorithms for data types and analysis purposes is essential. Thus, analyzing research trends in AI-based PHM is crucial for its rapid development.

Analysis of Domestic Research Trends on Technoparks(1997~2022) (테크노파크 국내 학술 연구동향 분석(1997~2022))

  • This study aims to examine domestic research trends on technoparks and to explore future research directions in this field. For this purpose, 493 articles were collected from academic journal sites, covering the period from 1997, when the pilot technoparks were designated, to 2022. To avoid duplication of identical titles and content, theses and conference papers were excluded. Only articles registered or candidate-registered in the Korea Citation Index (KCI) were selected. After reviewing the research topics and content, a total of 74 papers were used for the final analysis. The data analysis involved descriptive analyses of the research period, research areas, research methods, research subjects, and research topics. Furthermore, a word cloud text analysis was conducted using 305 keywords related to technoparks. This study is significant as the first comprehensive analysis of research trends on technoparks and aims to provide meaningful foundational data to explore future directions for research and innovation policy related to technoparks.

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the influnce of Postmodernism on 90's fashion trends, and to present applications of it's inspiration to print design. 90's fashion trends represented in fashion magazines, in fashion trend reports, and in related books were anlyzed. Informations referring to two selected target markets were collected by phone interview. In 90's fashion trends, seven fashion images seemed to be influenced from Postmodernism emerged. Based on these seven fashion images, several print designs were created and developed for one domestic market and for one export market.

  • In the field of domestic tourism, tourism trend analysis of tourism consumers, both international tourists and domestic tourists, is essential not only for the Korean tourism market but also for local and governmental tourism policy makers. e will explore the keywords and sentiment analysis on social media to establish a marketing strategy plan and revitalize the domestic tourism industry through communication and information from tourism consumers. This study utilized TEXTOM 6.0 to analyze recent trends in Korean tourism. Data was collected from September 31, 2022, to August 31, 2023, using 'Korean tourism' and 'domestic tourism' as keywords, targeting blogs, cafes, and news provided by Naver, Daum, and Google. Through text mining, 100 key words and TF-IDF were extracted in order of frequency, and then CONCOR analysis and sentiment analysis were conducted. For Korean tourism keywords, words related to tourist destinations, travel companions and behaviors, tourism motivations and experiences, accommodation types, tourist information, and emotional connections ranked high. The results of the CONCOR analysis were categorized into five clusters related to tourist destinations, tourist information, tourist activities/experiences, tourism motivation/content, and inbound related. Finally, the sentiment analysis showed a high level of positive documents and vocabulary. This study analyzes the rapidly changing trends of Korean tourism through text mining on Korean tourism and is expected to provide meaningful data to promote domestic tourism not only for Koreans but also for foreigners visiting Korea.

Research Trends on Related to Artificial Intelligence for the Visually Impaired : Focused on Domestic and Foreign Research in 1993-2020 (시각장애인을 위한 인공지능 관련 연구 동향 : 1993-2020년 국내·외 연구를 중심으로)

  • In this study, a total of 68 domestic and international papers were selected from 1993 to August 2020 in order to examine the research trends related to artificial intelligence for the visually impaired. The papers were compared and analyzed by the number of papers published by year, research method, research topic, keyword analysis status, research type, and implementation method. As a result of the study, the number of papers during the study period seemed to increase steadily. But in the case of domestic research, It can be seen that it has become active since 2016. As for research methods, development research accounted for 89.7% of both domestic and foreign research. Keywords was in Visually Impaired, Deep Learning, and Assistive Device order in domestic research. And it was in Visually Impaired, Deep learning, Artificial intelligence order in foreign research. There was a difference in the frequency of words. Research type were Design, development and implementation both in domestic and foreign. Implementation method were in System 13.2%, Solution 7.4%, App. 4.4% order in domestic research, and it was in System 32.4%, App. 13.2%, Device 7.4% order in foreign research. As for the applied technology of the implementation method, were in YOLO 2.7%, TTS 2.1%, Tensorflow 2.1% order in domestic research, and it was used in CNN 8.0%, TTS 5.3%, MS-COCO 4.3% order in foreign research. The purpose of this study was to compare and analyze the trends of artificial intelligence-related research targeting the visually impaired, to immediately know the current status of domestic and foreign research, and to present the direction of artificial intelligence research for the visually impaired in the future.

  • The major purpose of this study was to design a external metadata which fit domestic demands of the digital maps. For designing a standard external metadata reflecting the current trends of the international organizations on standardization, a prelimenary study was made mainly concentrating on the analysis of the standards of the developed countries. For better assessing domestic needs, all the metadata related material of the National Geography Institute were collected and classified based on the NGI's workflow. The external metadata draft was made considering the results from the analysis of the existing NGI material and the draft was also cited some major cores from the ISO standards. Continuous efforts should be made in the future to update the metadata draft based on the opinions from domestic users and the technical trends of the international organizations on standardization.

Domestic Research Trend Analysis of Computing Thinking (컴퓨팅사고력에 관한 국내 연구동향 분석)

  • This study was to review the research trends in domestic computing thinking and to suggest future research direction by analyzing 138 papers related to computing thinking published in domestic academic journals from 2015 to 2018. As a result, domestic research on computing thinking has been steadily increasing since 2015, and quantitative research, development research and experimental research were mainly used. Most research were conducted for elementary school students and university students. Research topics are oriented to the curriculum and program as well as the relationship among the variables related with computational thinking. It is necessary to explore empirical studies such as teaching methods, teaching tools, media utilization, and evaluation methods in order to promote learner's computing thinking. Also, it is needed to explore various variables related to enhance computing thinking and the relationship among the variables.

Analyzing Research Trends in Forest Watersheds Using the Vosviewer Program (VOSviewer 프로그램을 이용한 산림유역 관련 연구동향 분석)

  • In this study, we collected and analyzed domestic and international studies related to watersheds in the forest sector. Keyword co-occurrence analysis was conducted using the VOSviewer program to identify the research areas of domestic and international studies and the network structure to compare research trends. As a result, the number of research articles in international watershed-related studies showed an overall increasing trend, and the research areas were diverse and located close to each other, indicating that many convergence studies were conducted. On the other hand, the number of papers in domestic watershed-related studies seems to have stagnated overall from the past to the present, and the research areas are mainly focused on forest disasters and hydrology, with limited interdisciplinary convergence studies. In addition, in both domestic and international studies, watersheds are currently mentioned as research sites rather than management or analysis units in the forest sector. It is important to actively promote interdisciplinary research in Korea to provide a scientific and balanced basis for watershed-level forest management planning.

Analysis of Domestic Research Trends in Fashion Illustration (패션 일러스트레이션 관련 국내 연구동향 분석)

  • This study examines research trends in the dissertations and theses on fashion illustration, as part of the necessity of the enlargement of this field into different areas and the importance of fashion research that will in the future. Currently, there are efforts to find the state of pervasive trends in thesis or that of dissertations in this area to help deter existing studies from producing mutually supplementary and constructive results. This also includes research that may have been overlapped in part or biased toward particular fields. This study is to solidify the research trend in papers and dissertations on fashion illustration in fields unexamined to suggest some of the right direction for research and development in fashion illustration. The selected data involved papers and dissertations published between 1990 and April 2009 by domestic graduate schools. To understand the research trend by item, descriptive statistics are utilized to acquire statistical data on the frequency and percentage in the creation of graphs. The findings of the study are as follows: There has been a steady increase in the rates of the theses and dissertations in this field in yearly domestic research fashion trends in illustration since 2002. In terms of the annual trend by the type of research, the number of the theses and dissertations on the production of works is larger than that of theoretical ones. This indicates that more attention should be given to theoretical research in this area. In regard to research themes and methods, many theses and dissertations were included with the production of works that showed a need to diversify the scope of research.
