온라인 행동기반 맞춤형 광고를 위한 온라인 추적 금지 제도 분석 및 제안 (Analysis and Proposal of "Do Not Track" Regulations for Online Behavioral Advertising)

  • 온라인 행동기반 맞춤형 광고(Online Behavioral Advertising)는 정보의 유용성과 사용자 편리성으로 인해 빠르게 성장하고 있다. 하지만 사용자의 동의 없는 행동정보 수집으로 인한 프라이버시 침해 문제로 Do Not Track 제도의 필요성이 높아지고 있다. 그러나 국내에서는 체계적이고 공통적인 기준을 제공하는 DNT 관련 법률이 존재하지 않는다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 DNT 관련 제도를 수립하여 시행중인 주요 국가의 사례를 조사한 다음, OBA의 이해관계자들을 모두 포함할 수 있도록 법(제도), 기업, 개인, 사회 4가지 영역으로 분류 및 분석하여 DNT 프레임워크를 제시하였다. 이러한 프레임워크를 통하여 행동정보 유형과 통제 유형, DNT 시스템 유형으로 구성된 DNT 매커니즘을 제공함으로써, 기업들이 관리해야 할 정보와 통제 방법 그리고 적합한 시스템 선택에 대한 의사결정을 지원하는 데 의의가 있다. 또한 OBA 시장 전체에 대한 연구를 바탕으로 각 이해관계자들 간의 DNT 영향 관계를 분석하였기 때문에 향후 OBA 관련 연구에 대한 기초자료로 활용할 수 있을 것이다.

  • Both traffic congestion and air pollution in the metropolitan area can be greatly relieved by promoting the use of public transportation with zero emission system. Bus and subway are very convenient means for the people moving in the route areas. But they are not enough to satisfy handicapped or old people to have access to them and also do not solve environmental problems completely. New vehicle system, fuel cell track rapid transit, will be introduced as a countermeasure for such problems in the present paper.

선로조건 및 운전패턴에 따른 한국형 고속열차 판토그라프의 접촉력 특성 분석 (Analysis of contact force of pantograph for Korean-high speed train according to track conditions and driving patterns)

  • In this paper, we introduce the on-line test of the current collection characteristics for HSR 350x(Korea High Speed Train project) that have been performed in the Kyoung-bu high-speed line since 2002. Through the analysis of measured data during on-line test, the variation trends of contact force between pantograph and catenary according to the track conditions and driving patterns are reviewed. This study shows that the track conditions do not affect on the dynamic performance between pantograph and the driving patterns are important factors in determining the good interaction of them.

  • Precast slab track system(PSTS) is a concrete track laying system where the slab panels are pre-manufactured in factories and assembled and installed on-site. PSTS has been developed for the past 30 years in countries where railway technologies are advanced such as Japan and Germany to improve the various drawbacks of the in-situ concrete slab track. However, the usefulness of PSTS is being continuously approved by many other countries such as China, Taiwan, Austria, Italy, Spain, etc,. Lately, not only Japan and Germany, but also Austria, Italy and China have developed their own PSTS by collaboration between their Governments and private enterprises and are now attempting to expand their businesse soverseas. In accordance to such movement, in 2006, the Korean Railroad Research Institution and Sampyo E&C have developed a Korean PSTS by joint research. PSTS consists of concrete panel, under pouring layer and concrete base layer. Amongst these components, the panel is the main component of PSTS which supports the train load and has a great effect on the track quality, workability and economics. Therefore, a study is to be conducted to select the optimum size for the Panel of the precast slab track system panel by analyzing the various standards & forms, interpretation of finite elements of the selected model and economical analysis.

궤도구조 성능검증체계 및 선정프로세스 구축 (Development of Verification System and Selection Process for Track Structure)

  • Recently, with the beginning of the commercial operation of high-speed railway, there have been a number of changes in track structure fields. Also, it is expected that the development and introduction of new technology will be increased afterwards. However, it accompanies a lot of risk to install new track structures of which performance and safety are not verified on permanent ways with high traffic density. Therefore, to minimize the risk and enhance the adoption of new technology, it is required to develop a systemic verification system for track structure. To do this, in this paper, main contents of a draft of guidelines for track structure verification, and main issues in debate such as criteria and method for verification, test conditions and test periods are discussed. Also, a process to choose a most appropriate one for a specific project out of proven track structures by the above verification system, the selection process by the technical investigation committee and the VE process to analyze the economical and maintenance aspects based on LCC concept in Korea Rail Network Authority is introduced.

  • Landslides triggered by rainfall produces severe effects on the serviceability and stability of railway operation. Since small amount of soil mass slipped on the rail can cause derailment which will cause severe danger on the human and trains, slope stability problem is one of the major concerns on the operation of railway. In this study we investigate the some of characteristics of rainfall driven landslide near railroad. A total of 23 sites were visited. From the results four types of landslides based upon the morphology of the slipped slope triggered by rainfall were classified. From the analysis dimensions of slopes (height, length and slope) do not show particular correlation with the types of landslides. In addition, morphological and geological features of slope influence on the occurrence of different types of landslides.

  • Seoul Metro is celebrating 32 anniversary this year and through developments over the years it is being evaluated as the 3rd in the world in operational sizes, the 4th in the world in facility sizes, it transports about 4 million passengers per day and it is now a vital public transportation means. However, the track maintenance organization and manpower structures along with technology cooperative office were led by unions that do not like changes and overshadows the trends of changes by expanding organizations and recruiting personnels and it is going against the current of times. Thus, it is time when a break point is required for breaking away from labor-intensive methods of the past that rely on hand works and vertical organizational structures. Therefore, this study investigates the states of national.international track maintenance operations and examines and analyzes the problems so that it can be utilized as base data for efficiently operating the organizations and maintenance works on track fields.

고전압임펄스궤도회로(HVITC)와 AF 궤도회로간의 간섭에 대한 연구 (A Study on Interference between High Voltage Impulse Track Circuit(HVITC) and AF Track Circuit)

  • 고속철도 차량기지에는 고전압임펄스(HVITC)와 AF 궤도회로를 사용하고 있다. HVITC는 열차의 위치검지 및 궤도 절손검지 기능을 하고, AF궤도회로는 열차제어 정보를 전송하여 고속열차의 이상 유무를 검지하는 출발 전 시험에 사용한다. 두 궤도회로는 별도로 구성되어 있고, 같은 레일을 사용하여 제어신호를 스위칭에 의해서 전송하고 있다. AF 궤도회로는 루프케이블을 궤도 안쪽에 설치하는 방법으로 구성할 수 있다. 그러면 스위치를 제거할 수 있고, 상시 시험용 제어신호를 전송할 수 있다. 이 경우에 두 궤도회로는 상호간섭이 발생할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 두 궤도회로를 동시에 동작하는 경우에 발생되는 간섭을 두 회로의 모델링을 통하여 규명하였다.

  • 열차의 위치는 전통적으로 궤도회로를 사용하여 검지하였으나 CBTC와 같은 최근의 열차제어 시스템은 지상신호설비를 최소화 하기 위하여 궤도회로를 사용하지 않고 열차를 검지하는 방식을 사용한다. 따라서 궤도회로를 사용하지 않고 열차의 정확한 위치를 검지하는 시스템에 대한 관심이 증대되고 있다. 또한 기존의 궤도회로 사용구간에도 단락감도 저하시 안정적으로 열차검지를 위하여 비접촉식 열차검지장치를 보완 설치한다. 본 논문은 비 접촉식 열차검지기 장치의 일종으로 자기장의 변화에 따른 전류위상차를 이용하여 열차검지시스템을 설계하고 시제품을 제작하여 열차검지 성능과 설계조건 등을 판단하였으며, 기존 궤도회로장치에 비하여 다양한 장점이 있음을 알 수 있었다.

The future of bioinformntics

  • It is clear that computers will play a key role in the biology of the future. Even now, it is virtually impossible to keep track of the key proteins, their names and associated gene names, physical constants(e.g. binding constants, reaction constants, etc.), and hewn physical and genetic interactions without computational assistance. In this sense, computers act as an auxiliary brain, allowing one to keep track of thousands of complex molecules and their interactions. With the advent of gene expression array technology, many experiments are simply impossible without this computer assistance. In the future, as we seek to integrate the reductionist description of life provided by genomic sequencing into complex and sophisticated models of living systems, computers will play an increasingly important role in both analyzing data and generating experimentally testable hypotheses. The future of bioinformatics is thus being driven by potent technological and scientific forces. On the technological side, new experimental technologies such as microarrays, protein arrays, high-throughput expression and three-dimensional structure determination prove rapidly increasing amounts of detailed experimental information on a genomic scale. On the computational side, faster computers, ubiquitous computing systems, high-speed networks provide a powerful but rapidly changing environment of potentially immense power. The challenges we face are enormous: How do we create stable data resources when both the science and computational technology change rapidly? How do integrate and synthesize information from many disparate subdisciplines, each with their own vocabulary and viewpoint? How do we 'liberate' the scientific literature so that it can be incorporated into electronic resources? How do we take advantage of advances in computing and networking to build the international infrastructure needed to support a complete understanding of biological systems. The seeds to the solutions of these problems exist, at least partially, today. These solutions emphasize ubiquitous high-speed computation, database interoperation, federation, and integration, and the development of research networks that capture scientific knowledge rather than just the ABCs of genomic sequence. 1 will discuss a number of these solutions, with examples from existing resources, as well as area where solutions do not currently exist with a view to defining what bioinformatics and biology will look like in the future.
