  • The main objective of this study is to determine the methodology to increase the practical use of future Marine GIS based on the user's point of view of the analysis of maritime & fishery government agencies's roles. GIS related job duty of two Busan District offices of MOMAF(Ministry of Maritime and Fisheries), NFRDI(National Fisheries Research & Development Institute), Korea Institute of Maritime and Fisheries Technology and marine & fisheries local government offices of Busan Metropolitan city were analyzed for the establishment of MGIS, future extended service targeting user's increased practical utilization. Several suggestions in the area of production mechanism and technical policy for marine geographic information among the government agencies are developed to settle down successfully MGIS in Busan. Furthermore, 10 fields of Marine Geographic issues are rearranged for intending the desirable system and service.

A Study on Improvement of Handling Dirty Bulk Cargo in Busan Port (부산항의 기피화물 취급 개선에 관한 연구)

  • Busan port's main function is handling container cargo compared to world major ports and the percentage of handling general cargo such as dirty bulk cargo is very low. In other words, although total cargo weight of Busan port that recorded the handling result of 13.29million TEU in 2008 reached 113.05million ton, total cargo weight of general cargo was 15.31million ton, so container cargo accounted for 88.1% of whole cargo weight. However, it is the time to create high added value by the increase of handling and marketing dirty bulk cargo. Originally, the dirty bulk cargo was not the avoided object from the first. Somehow, it is a very high added value cargo, and is surely essential strategic material to basic industries of nation. However, it becomes dirty bulk cargo as the companies are reluctant to handle it because of environmental problem, distinct characteristic in handling, uncertain break even point due to imbalance between supply and demand compared to container cargo. However, items that are classified as dirty bulk cargo now are certainly necessary strategic materials to national basic industries or national life. Besides it seems to be a high added value cargo here and now. Therefore, it is time that increasing of handling dirty bulk cargo by marketing it and the system for efficient handling such as constructing the exclusive use wharf in Busan port, modernizing of facilities and equipments, stable secure of place for holding and handling through development of distribution complex by item, efficient data processing and closer cooperation by setting up a SCM of related authorities are needful.

  • The Blockchain is a technique that prevents data from being manipulated and guarantees the integrity and reliability of the data by all participants in the network jointly owning and validating the data. Since the Blockchain characterized by security, scalability and transparency, it is used in a variety of fields including logistics, distribution, IoT and healthcare, including remittance. In particular, there is a growing interest in smart contract that can create different forms of contracts and automate implementation based on Blockchain. Smart Contract can be used to pre-programme contracts and are implemented immediately when conditions are met. As a result, digital data can be more reliable. In this paper, we are conducting a study on the smart contract design as a way to solve such problems as illegal misuse of funds on virtual currency, which has become an issue recently. Through this process, we applied the customer identification and money laundering prevention process using smart contract, and then check the possibility of preventing money laundering and propose the ASM (AML SmartContract Mechant) design.

  • 최근 관심이 증대되고 있는 국토모니터링과 관련하여 기존의 SPOT, IRS, KOMPSAT, LANDSAT 등의 중ㆍ저해상도 위성영상과 IKONOS 등의 고해상도 위성영상을 이용하여 국토의 변화를 탐지하고자 하는 시도가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 이 때 영상의 기하보정은 필수적인 과정이며 영상의 기하보정시 기준점을 취득하는 과정에 많은 시간과 작업비용이 소요된다. 현재 기준점 취득은 수치지도 등을 통해 기존의 지상기준점을 이용하는 방법과 GPS를 이용한 현지 측량방법이 활용되고 있는데 동일지역에 대해 매번 사업 때마다 수행되고 있는 실정이다. 따라서 이러한 과정을 보다 효율적으로 수행하기 위한 하나의 방안으로 본 연구에서는 image chip을 이용하여 GCP를 취득하고 이를 데이터베이스로 구축하여 기존의 작업을 자동화, 체계화하고자 하였다. 이를 통하여 중복측량 방지와 데이터의 균질성을 기할 수 있었다. Image Chip의 영상 정합을 위해서는 상관계수법과 최소제곱정합법을 이용하여 부영상소 단위까지 정합결과를 얻을 수 있었으며 위성의 header 정보로부터의 영상의 표정각과 입사각에 대한 정보를 이용하여 축척과 회전요소를 고려함으로써 영상 정합시 보다 정확한 기준점 정보를 취득할 수 있었다. 또한, 이종 센서간 영상정합 가능성에 대해서 연구한 결과 KOMPSAT과 SPOT간에는 신뢰할 만한 수준의 정합 결과를 얻을 수 있었으나 고해상도 영상의 경우에는 항공사진과 IKONOS의 영상 정합시 센서의 방사학적 특성의 차이로 신뢰할 안한 결과를 얻을 수 없었다. 영상 정합시 정확도에 영향을 미치는 인자들에 관한 실험 결과 센서의 파장, 계절, Chip 영상의 크기 등이 큰 영향을 미쳤으며 영상정합을 위해 영상 GCP를 데이터베이스에서 검색할 때 이에 대한 고려가 우선적으로 이루어져야 할 것으로 사료된다.n of hub-and-spoke system, integration of logistics bases, introduction of (automatic) parking building, diversification of transportation mode, and etc. At the same time, we constructed three practically executable scenarios based on those ideas.   • Mobile phone-related industries have been mainly concentrated on attracting the new customers and increasing the market share such as for the aggressive marketing activities, but it is the time to find an effective strategy to preserve existing customers since the mobile phone market had already reached the saturation. In this study, the properties of mobile phone that influence on the choice of handset and telecom company were analyzed. General properties of respondents were explored and the mobile phone properties were grouped by common factors. And analyzed the effect of factors on customer satisfaction with structural equation model. 10.4% of respondents are used their handset more than two years and 48.7% wanted to purchase other manufacturer's handset if they repurchase mobile phone. These results might come form the fact that the life cycle of mobile phone become shorter by the heating competition in mobile phone market and, to some degree, the influence of smart phone which recently become globally popular. Four factors, 'Hardware Quality', 'Practicality', 'Convergence Functions' and 'Level of Awareness', are induced from the mobile phone properties. In Structural Equation Model analysis, 'Hardware Quality' and 'Practicality' have significant and positive effects on Customer Satisfaction. But, 'Awareness' such as brand and trend appeared quite less influence on the customer satisfaction.

  • A predictable and manageable output is desirable for most businesses. However, it is very difficult to control the quality and quantity of products in the food and agriculture business. Predictable outputs help managers plan their marketing, sales, and inbound and outbound logistics, but these are not easy to achieve in the food and agriculture business. Various industries have adopted different levels of automation and utilization of information systems for quality/quantity control; however e-Commerce of the food and agriculture industry is far behind those of other industries. Today, the food and agriculture industry is supposed to be more integrated than ever in order to reduce risks and improve processing costs, from farm to table. Since its operations including production, processing, storage, distribution, and management are dispersed all over the world, the food and agricultural industries now depend more on IT than other industries. This study attempts to develop a framework to analyze the current situation of agricultural product e-Commerce in Korea, and finds out the actual situation of the farmers operating on-line shopping systems through the developed framework and suggests some improvements.

  • The Roman thinker, Cicero said, "The Nations that rule the sea, rule the world". In the world history, the countries done critical roles, have emphasized the importance of the sea. The world history is called as the histories of the countries which governed the sea, such as Phoenicia, Greece, Carthago, Roma, Portugal, Spain, England, and USA. The sea is not only the political, economical, social and cultural basis, serving as the origin of resources and channel of communication, logistics and distribution but also the area of dreams and imaginations and ground of potentiality and visions. This paper reviewed the major countries and their histories to realize the vision of Korea, super power country of maritime and fishery. Main maritime policies and its core issues and prospects of Korea were reviewed. And on the basis of these reviews, the vision of super power country of maritime and fishery was suggested. The vision, the 5th super power country of maritime and fishery in 2020, and 10th country of maritime technology level in 2020 and their details were proposed also. For achieving the vision, the resurrection of MOMAF is necessary and its reasons and 5 necessities were suggested. And the directions of the resurrection of MOMAF were proposed in terms of two viewpoints, policy/functional and institutional basis. I think Korea, the super power country of maritime and fishery, can be realized only when MOMAF may be resurrected.

A Study on the Collaborative Partnership Factors between Freight Forwarders and Consignors (국제물류주선업체와 화주기업의 협력적 파트너쉽 요인에 관한 연구)

  • Due to the recent worldwide economic downturn, companies are required to put more effort into their innovation and quality improvement. In particular, business relationship is increasingly emphasized to be changed from a vertical relationship to a more horizontal relationship, such as collaborative partnership based on trust. In the logistics industry, through the collaboration, consignors can gain competitive advantages by focusing on their core capabilities, and freight forwarders also take advantages of securing stable cargoes and specialist expertise in distribution. Therefore, this study aims to identify key factors for developing a collaborative partnership between freight forwarders and consignors, and further examine the differences between the two groups empirically by using questionnaire survey. Based on the results, the main factors were found as follows: 1) Trust Building, 2) Competence Improvement, 3) Business Ecosystem and 4) Government Assistance. According to the analysis on sub-factors, first, among the four main factors, it turned out that trust is the most important variable. Specifically, the sub-factor of providing regular and stable service was revealed to be most critical. Second, it was found that forwarders need to improve services on 'Information Exchange System' and 'Electronic Data Interchange'. Finally, it is necessary for both consignors and forwarders to have better understanding of partnership. Key implications for both groups are highlighted based on the results.

Performance Analysis of an Adaptive Sector System for Terrestrial Station in Ad-hoc Communication System Between Vessels (선박 간 ad-hoc 통신 시스템에서 육상국용 적응 섹터 시스템의 성능 분석)

  • A rapid increase of data amount, used in ship-to-ship transmission of safety and logistics information, ships in the inland sea have trouble transmitting real-time information transmission due to an increase in traffic load caused by data transmitted by land station and offshore ships. In this study, therefore, communication is carried out by adaptively controlling the detailed beam width based on the distribution of offshore ships in land station durable in marine environment. Then after the adaptive sector system enabling real-time communication support between ships concentrated in an inland sea and land station is applied, the performance verification is conducted based on the respective Call Blocking Rates of an omnidirectional antenna, fisted sector system, and adaptive sector system. The performance verification result shows that adaptive sector system has better performance than the fixed sector system as the density of ship, q value, increases, and that the smaller the beam width is, the better performance of adaptive sector system will be.

Mechanical Properties and Field Implementation of Floor Mortar Incorporated with VAE Polymer (VAE 폴리머를 이용한 모르타르 바닥재의 역학적 특성과 현작 적용성)

  • Recently, the importance of the industrial warehouse floor has been increasing due to the development of the distribution and logistics industry. In this present study, an early-hardening polymer floor mortar which can compensate for the limitation of conventional cement based floor mortar regarding fluidity and long curing time was developed. In order to achieve the early-hardening of mortar characteristic ultra rapid hardening cement was used as binder. Four types of mixture proportions in accordance with the vinyl acetate ethylene(VAE) polymer contents with range from 10% to 20% and the other proto proportion without VAE polymer were designed. Mechanical experiments including the fluidity test, compressive strength test, bending test, bond test, and abrasion test were conducted for all mixture proportions. From the flow test result, it was possible to achieve the high flow with 250 mm by controlling the amount of superplasticizer. The incorporation of VAE polymer was found to affect the compressive strength reduction, however, the flexural strength was higher than that of the proto mixture, and it was evaluated to increase the compressive strength / flexural strength ratio. Moreover, at least 2.6 times higher bond strength and more than 4 times higher abrasion resistance were secured. From the mechanical experiments results, the optimum mixing ratio of the VAE polymer was determined to be 10%. As a result of application and monitoring, it shows that it has excellent resistance to cracking, discoloration, impact, and scratch as well as bond performance compared to the cement based floor mortar.
