When content is presented within an appropriate context, that exposure for digital contents providers is most effective. We research on how DOI could increase the profitability of content distribution strategies. We examine traditional works of distribution channels and setup DOI-enabled scenarios.

Cumulative residual Kullback-Leibler (CRKL) information is well defined on the empirical distribution function (EDF) and allows us to construct a EDF-based goodness of t test statistic. However, we need to consider a scaled CRKL because CRKL is not scale invariant. In this paper, we consider several criterions for estimating the scale parameter in the scale CRKL and compare the performances of the estimated CRKL in terms of both power and unbiasedness.

Many circular distributions are known to be not only asymmetric but also bimodal. Hidden truncation method of generating asymmetric distribution is applied to a bivariate circular distribution to generate an asymmetric circular distribution. While many other existing asymmetric circular distributions can only model an asymmetric data, this new circular model has great flexibility in terms of asymmetry and bi-modality. Some properties of the new model, such as the trigonometric moment generating function, and asymptotic inference about the truncation parameter are presented. Simulation and real data examples are provided at the end to demonstrate the utility of the novel distribution.

DC-based power system is paid attention as interests in energy efficiency and power quality are increased. However, standardization and researches for commercializing Low Voltage DC(LVDC) distribution system are still insufficient. Protection system, which is closely related with reliability, power quality, safety, and life expectancy of components in power system, is also included. This paper therefore analyzes fault response characteristics in LVDC distribution system as a preliminary study on protection schemes. A stepwise analysis on fault current from both AC/DC converter and DC/DC converter is performed and related expressions are derived. And then, modeling and simulation with various conditions are conducted by using ElectroMagnetic Transients Program (EMTP) to verify analysis results. Based on research results in the paper, direction for development of protection schemes for LVDC distribution system is suggested.

Purpose: Increasing competition in the higher education sector has prompted universities to enhance their marketing efforts and understand their potential customers. The study aims to explore how information sources are used and changed among prospective Vietnamese students during the decision-making process. Research Design, Data, and Methodology: This study undertakes a longitudinal study involving multiple rounds of data collection to better understand the decision-making process of prospective students. Data was collected from 12th -grade students in Vietnam through two rounds of quantitative surveys with 251 students and one round of qualitative interviews, spanning the duration of their senior year. The three stages of the decision-making process correspond to the three stages of pre-purchase period. Results: Most students decide that attending open days, taking career assessments, and looking up information online are the most important information sources to consider. The WOM sources are more important in the early stages, while university-generated sources and events are important in the later stages. Conclusion: Implications from this study may contribute to the design of more effective marketing communications campaigns as university marketers gain a better understanding of the distribution of information sources utilized for each specific stage of the decision-making process.

Purpose - Currently, organizations must have a plan to achieve their future objectives. In this case, an information strategy facilitates greater success when planning for the future in any organization. Research design, data, and methodology - The core objective of the project was to explore the information infrastructure of Walkbase in a discursive manner. We started the project by providing a description of the firm, which facilitates retail outlets using in-store analytical devices. Results - We conclude that the management of Walkbase revised its current information structure to implement a more structured one that might be included in a long-term investment. On such an occasion, management can prioritize the component to develop first. Conclusions - Along with our results, we also described the business, its products, its facilities, and how it can serve different industries. Finally, we left the prioritization decision within the framework's components to top management.
