UHDTV를 위한 MIMO 전송 시스템 성능 분석 및 설계 (Performance Analysis and Design of MIMO Systems for Terrestrial Transmission of UHDTV)

  • 본 논문에서는 MIMO(multi-input multi-output) 시스템을 적용하여 지상파 UHDTV 시스템을 구현하기 위한 전송 시스템을 제시하였다. 차세대 UHDTV 시스템이 필요로 하는 높은 전송량을 달성하기 위하여 기존의 MIMO(multi input multi output) 전송 방식인 STBC(space time block code), 하이브리드 STBC, V-BLAST 및 선형분산코드(linear dispersion matrix)를 이용한 송신 기법을 고려하였다. 이 중에서 대표적인 세 가지 MIMO 전송 기법의 심볼 오류 성능 및 복잡도를 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 통하여 평가하였다. 이를 통하여 UHDTV 시스템의 전송량을 달성하기 위한 최적의 송 수신 안테나 개수와 MIMO 파라미터 제시 및 세 개의 MIMO 전송 기법의 장단점을 비교 분석하여 가장 적합한 시스템을 제안하였다.

레졸형 구형 페놀입자의 합성에서 반응물의 조성이 입자 형성에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Reactant Composition on the Synthesis of Resole-Type Phenolic Bead)

  • 페놀-포름알데히드를 이용하여 레졸형 구형 페놀수지 입자를 합성함에 있어 반응물의 조성이 입도분포, 수율 및 밀도에 미치는 영향을 확인하였다. 분산매의 양을 감소시킴에 따라 현탁액의 점도가 증가하며 이로 인해 입도분포의 변화 및 응집 현상의 원인이 됨을 확인하였고, 안정제의 양을 증가시킴에 따라 현탁입자의 표면적을 증가시키기 위해 평균입도가 감소하는 것을 확인하였다. 적정량 이상의 경화제의 사용은 입도분포 및 수율에는 영향을 미치지 않으나 형성된 입자 내부의 격렬한 경화반응으로 인해 발생하는 물분자의 탈출이 원활하지 않게 되어 밀도가 감소하는 것을 SEM 사진을 통해 확인하였다.

  • We prepared $Co_{77}Cr_{20}Ta_{3}$ thin film with Facing Targets Sputtering Apparatus. which can deposit a high quality thin film CoCrTa magnetic layer for Perpendicular magnetic recording media. In order to obtain Good Crystal orientation of CoCrTa thin films. We prepared Thin Films on slide glass substrate. The thickness of Buffer-layer were varied from 10 to 50 nm and Magnetic layer thickness fixed 100[nm]. input current was varied from 0.2[A] to 0.5[A]. Substrate temperature was varied from room temperature to ${250^{\circ}C}$ respectively. The crystal orientation of the CoCrTa film were examined with XRD. Introduce Buffer-layer thin films showed improvement of dispersion angle of c-axis orientation (${\Delta\theta}_{50}$).

용액연소합성에 의한 나노크기 물라이트 분말의 제조 (Preparations of Nano-scale Mullite Powder from Solution Combustion Synthesis)

  • In this study, the solution combustion method was employed to synthesize stoichiometric mullite, and hence the attrition process was employed to prepare ultrafine mullite particles with nano size. The thermal decomposition behavior and partial pressure of equilibrium species of both oxidizer and fuel were considered during solution combustion process. The synthesized product was mullite phase with 40 nm crystalline size, and the alumina contents of the product by TEM/EDS quantity analysis was 3.12$\pm$04 mole. The result showed that the synthesized mullite was almost close to the it's stoichiometric composition. For attrition process, the dispersion behavior of the mullite suspension was controlled and was comminuted with the condition of 800 rpm for 4 hours using 0.3 mm zirconia ball media. As a result of comminution, the mean particle size was 80 nm.

Fabrication of Core-Shell Structured Ni-Based Alloy Nanopowder by Electrical Wire Explosion Method

  • Electrical wire explosion in liquid media is a promising method for producing metallic nanopowders. It is possible to obtain high-purity metallic nanoparticles and uniform-sized nanopowder with excellent dispersion stability using this electrical wire explosion method. In this study, Ni-Fe alloy nanopowders with core-shell structures are fabricated via the electrical explosion of Ni-Fe alloy wires 0.1 mm in diameter and 20 mm in length in de-ionized water. The size and shape of the powders are investigated by field-emission scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, and laser particle size analysis. Phase analysis and grain size determination are conducted by X-ray diffraction. The result indicate that a core-shell structured Ni-Fe nanopowder is synthesized with an average particle size of approximately 28 nm, and nanosized Ni core particles are encapsulated by an Fe nanolayer.

하지층기판온도에 따른 CoCrTa/Si 이층박막의 특성변화 (Characteristics variation of CoCrTa/Si double layer thin film on variation of underlayer substrate temperature)

  • Crystallographic and magnetic characteristics of CoCr-based magnetic thin film for perpendicular magnetic recording media were influenced on preparing conditions. In these, there is that substrate temperature was parameter that increases perpendicular coercivity of CoCrTa magnetic layer using recording layer. While preparation of CoCr-based doublelayer, by optimizing substrate temperature, we expect to increase perpendicular anisotropy of CoCr magnetic layer and prepare ferromagnetic recording layer with a good quality by epitaxial growth. CoCrTa/Si doublelayer showed a good dispersion angle of c-axis orientation $\Delta$$\theta$$_{50}$ caused by inserting amorphous Si underlayer which prepared at underlayer substrate temperature 250C. Perpendicular coercivity was constant, in-plane coercivity was controlled a low value about 2000e. This result implied that Si underlayer could restrain growth of initial layer of CoCrTa thin film, which showed bad magnetic properties effectively without participating magnetization patterns of magnetic layer. In case of CoCrTa/Si that prepared with ultra thin underlayer, crystalline orientation of CoCrTa was improved rather underlayer thickness 1nm, it was expected that amorphous Si layer played a important role in not only underlayer but also seed layer.t also seed layer.r.

그래핀과 탄소나노튜브의 형상에 따른 나노유체의 열전도도 특성 비교 연구 (A Comparative Study on the Characteristics of Nanofluids to the Shape of Graphene and Carbon Nanotube)

  • Recently, high-thermal-conductivity graphene and carbon nanotube nanoparticles have attracted particularly close attention from researchers. In the present study, the thermal conductivity and viscosity properties of two kinds of graphene and carbon nanotube nanofluids added to distilled water - two graphenes and carbon nanotubes of differing size - were compared and analyzed. The thermal conductivities of the nanofluids, formulated in the usual manner by adding graphene and carbon nanotube to distilled water and subjecting the mixture to ultrasonic dispersion, were measured by the transient hot-wire method, and the viscosities were determined using a rotational digital viscometer. As a result, we concluded that the nanofluid of small particle diameter of graphene have outstanding properties as heat transfer media, due to their excellent thermal conductivity and viscosity, compared with the other nanofluid.

Self-Organized Grafting of Carbon Nanotubes by End-Functionalized Polymers

  • A variety of end-functionalized polymers were grafted spontaneously onto multi-walled carbon nano-tubes (MWNTs) using a solution mixing process. The end-functional groups of the polymers underwent noncovalent grafting to the defect sites at the surface of the purified MWNTs through zwitterionic interaction or hydrogen bonding. The physically grafted polymers including polystyrene (PS), poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA), polyethylene oxide (PEO), and polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) provided sufficient compatibility with an organic solvent or polymer matrix, such that the nanotubes could be finely dispersed in various organic media. This approach is universally applicable to a broad range of polymer-solvent pairs, ensuring highly dispersed carbon nanotubes through simple solution mixing.

Discovery of Argyrin-Producing Archangium gephyra MEHO_001 and Identification of Its Argyrin Biosynthetic Genes

  • Argyrins are a group of anticancer and antibacterial octapeptide bioactive substances isolated from myxobacteria. In this study, we showed that the myxobacterium Archangium gephyra MEHO_001, isolated in Korea, produces argyrins A and B. MEHO_001 cells tend to aggregate when cultured in liquid media. Hence, a dispersion mutant, MEHO_002, was isolated from MEHO_001. The MEHO_002 strain produced approximately 3.5 times more argyrins than that produced by the wild-type strain MEHO_001. We determined the whole-genome sequence of A. gephyra MEHO_002 and identified a putative argyrin biosynthetic gene cluster comprising five genes, arg1-arg5, encoding non-ribosomal peptide synthases and tailoring enzymes. Inactivation of arg2 by plasmid insertion disrupted argyrin production. The amino acid sequences of the proteins encoded by arg2-arg5 of A. gephyra MEHO_002 were 90-98% similar to those encoded by the argyrin biosynthetic genes of Cystobacter sp. SBCb004, an argyrin-producing myxobacterium with identical domain organization.

A new merging-zone flow injection system for the quantification of ferrous and ferric ions in aqueous solution and sludge of wastewater

  • A simple and fast throughput flow injection (FI) system with a merging-zone technique was designed to determine ferrous and ferric in an aqueous solution. The method is based on the direct reaction of ferrous with a Bathophenanthroline reagent (Bphen) in acidic media. The forming red complex absorbs light at 533 nm. All conditions of the flow injection system were investigated. The analytical curve of ferrous was linear in the range of 0.07 to 4 mg/L with an r2 value of 0.9968. The detection and quantification limits were 0.02 and 0.04 mg/L, respectively. The molar absorptivity and Sandell's sensitivity were 4.0577 × 106 L/mol cm and 25 × 10-5 ㎍/cm2, respectively. The homemade valve was low-cost with high repeatability (n = 7) at an RSD of 1.26 % and zero dead volume. The values of the dispersion coefficient were 2.318, 2.022, and 1.636 for the concentrations of 0.2, 1, and 3 mg/L, respectively. The analysis throughput of the designed flow injection unit was 57 sample per hour.
