Disaster nursing knowledge, disaster preparedness attitudes, and disaster nursing competency exhibited positive correlations. The factors influencing disaster nursing competency among nursing students included disaster nursing knowledge, disaster preparedness attitudes, year level, disaster training experience, first-aid training experience, disaster area experience, medical service experience, and disaster severity awareness. These variables explained 17% of the variance in disaster nursing competency. Conclusion: Disaster nursing knowledge and disaster preparedness attitudes was positively related to disaster nursing competency. The findings of this study indicate that it is important to develop and apply education programs aimed at increasing disaster nursing knowledge and enhancing disaster preparedness attitudes among nursing students to improve nursing students' disaster nursing competency.

  • Purpose: As the frequency of impact typhoons increases and the form of damage becomes more complicated, the need for information to help disaster response workers recognize the typhoon situation in advance is growing. In this study, Definitions and implementation measures for information utilized at each stage of the task were proposed in carrying out typhoon response tasks that occur every year. Method: In 2019, the government classified information that was used for each step of work and conducted analysis on necessary information for the situation. Based on the analyzed information, typhoon status information was established through an opinion survey by central and local government officer. Result: The task of typhoon situations was the most important part of monitoring weather conditions and sharing damage situations, and the information utilized was analyzed to require information derived through the convergence of historical and situation information. Conclusion: As the correlation between work and information between the response departments increases as the typhoon situation progresses, information about typhoon situation should be applied to the actual typhoon situation in the future to enhance information and establish a related system.

Method: The 12 questions of the disaster safety awareness survey were answered using the direct entry method on a Likert 5-point scale, and the SPSS 24 and varimax (orthogonal rotation) methods were used to establish and test research hypotheses. Result: As a result of the verification, it was found that the independent variables, knowledge competency and attitude competency, had a positive effect on the dependent variable, behavioral competency, and there was no multicollinearity, so it was verified that it was meaningful. Conclusion: As a result of the survey analysis, domestic disaster safety education showed a significant impact on the level of disaster safety awareness as an education that meets its goals. Various aspects of disasters show that the educational effect can be improved only when education is established as education by life cycle.

  • Recently, localized heavy rain is increased by climatic changes and landslide is increased. Also, because of landslide occurred in urban area, life and property damages are increased. Therefore, standard operation procedure of disasters should be established by steps and institutions so as to respond landslide. This thesis investigated application of current disaster manual so as to write SOP of landslide for disaster prevention related experts and accepted opinion for responding necessaries by using landslide SOP and important matters by step of disaster management. As the result of investigation, application of manual was low during the current response to disasters and application was the highest in responding step among the steps of disaster management. In case of landslide, they responded that response with SOP is necessary. During the organization of landslide SOP, they responded that training and education for landslide disaster are important at the step of prevention, conduction of landslide disaster broadcasting and provision of information are important at the step of preparation, guidance for evasion and behavior methods is important at the step of response and investigation of landslide disaster damages and reflection of record and evaluation are important at the step of recovery. In addition, for the requests for landslide SOP application, there was an importance of secondary factors such as expansion of professional manpower, strengthening of law and institution, education and training for SOP acquisition, etc.
