일부 치위생(학)과 학생들의 자아존중감 및 자기효능감과 장애인 인식간의 상관성 분석 (Correlation between self-esteem, self-efficacy, and awareness for disability in dental hygiene students)

  • Objectives: The purpose of the study was to investigate the correlation between self-esteem, self-efficacy, and awareness for disability in dental hygiene students. Methods: A self-reported questionnaire was completed by 521 dental hygiene students from 5 universities in Gwangju and Jeonnam frm June 13 to July 16, 2016. The questionnaire consisted of self-esteem by Rosenberg (10 items), self-efficacy by Schwarzer (7 items), and the negative awareness for disabled person by Siller (24 items) using Likert 5 point scale. Results: Those who did volunteer activity for disabled person showed high self-esteem and self-efficacy than those who did not. Students having disability-related training experience had high self-esteem (p<0.05). Higher the self-esteem was, higher the self-efficacy was (r=0.655). Higher the self-efficacy was, the lower the negative awareness was (r=-0.142). Higher self-esteem enhanced the positive awareness for the disabled person (r=-0.206)(p<0.01). Conclusions: The systematic curriculum development for the disabled person recognition improvement should be made in order to enhance self-esteem and self-efficacy of the dental hygiene students.

근골격계질환 장애여성의 융복합이 삶의 질에 미치는 영향 (A Study on Effects of the Convergence of musculoskeletal disorders Women with Disabilities on Quality of life in Jeon-nam Area)

  • 융복합 시대에 접어들면서 장애인을 대상으로 상용화된 융복합 콘텐츠가 이들에게 많은 도움을 주고 있다. 본 연구는 근골격계질환 장애여성들의 삶의 질 개선 방안을 위하여 융복합 연구가 전남지역에서 실시되고, 이 활동들이 장애여성들의 삶의 질에 영향을 미치는 효과를 분석하여, 추후 지속적으로 이들에게 필요한 기초 자료와 실천 방안을 제공하고자 하는데 목적이 있다. 2015년 1월 1일부터 4월 25일까지 전남지역에 거주하는 장애여성 250명을 대상으로 조사를 시작하였다. 이들 중 근골격계질환 자각증상을 가지고 있으며, 융복합 콘텐츠 사용중인 20-80대 장애여성을 선별하여 총 125명에게 16주동안 융복합 사업을 시행하였다. 연구 결과, 융복합 사업 시행 후, 대부분의 근골격계 통증이 감소되었으며 우울 수치가 줄어들고 삶의 질의 향상을 보였다. 추후 연구에서는 장기적 안목과 지원을 통해 이루어져야 할 것이며, 그 효과를 평가할 수 있는 후속 연구도 뒷받침되어야 할 것이다.

장애인의 임파워먼트 과정에 관한 연구 - 성인기 이전의 경험을 중심으로 - (A Study on Empowerment Process of the Disabled - Focused on Experience of 'Pre-Adulthood' -)

  • 본 연구는 '장애인의 임파워먼트 과정은 어떠한가'라는 연구 질문을 가지고 장애인의 성인기 이전 임파워먼트 과정과 결과를 심층적으로 탐색한 것이다. 이를 위해 장애대학생 11명을 심층면접 한 후, 스트라우스와 코빈(Strauss & Corbin, 1998)의 근거이론 방법을 활용하여 분석하였다. 연구 참여자들의 근거자료를 분석한 결과 장애인의 성인기 이전 임파워먼트 과정의 중심현상은 '한계를 딛고 일어섬'인 것으로 분석되었다. 이에 대한 인과적 조건은 '그냥 살음'과 '장애 인식'이며, 맥락적 조건은 '배제당함', '그래도 바래봄', '좌절함'으로 나타났다. 장애인들은 한계를 딛고 일어서는 과정에서 '끈기있게 해냄'과 '지지 받음'의 조건에 의해 중재 받았으며, '생활방식을 터득함', '주도적으로 살음'의 상호작용 전략을 활용하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 임파워먼트의 결과로 장애인은 '자기조절감을 얻음', '배려심을 갖게 됨', '사회에 참여함'의 모습을 갖는 것으로 파악되었다. 이러한 결과를 통해 핵심범주는 '장애인으로서 주도적인 삶의 방식을 터득하여 당당하게 함께 살아감'으로 구체화되었고, 이는 장애인 임파워먼트의 3유형 즉, 사회변화 주도형, 개인발전 추구형, 소극적 노력형으로 유형화할 수 있었다. 장애인의 임파워먼트는 '단절단계', '일어섬의 단계', '터득하는 단계', '당당하게 함께 하는 단계'의 과정으로 이루어지며 특히 장애인의 임파워먼트는 한번으로 종결되는 것이 아니라 생애주기에 따라 반복되고 발전하는 순환적 구조를 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 연구 결과는 장애인의 성인기 이전 발달과정에 기초하여 이들의 보편성과 특수성에 기초한 임파워먼트 과정 및 결과를 규명함으로써 이론 구축 및 장애인복지에 그 함의가 있다.

휠체어 사용자의 대변기 이용을 위한 화장실 유효바닥면적에 대한 연구 (A Study on Effective Floor Area for Wheelchair Users to Use Toilet)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this paper is to provide logical basis on enlargement of toilet floor space for the disabled by "ACT ON GUARANTEE OF PROMOTION OF CONVENIENCE OF PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES, THE AGED, PREGNANT WOMEN. ETC" Revised Enforcement regulation [Asterisk 1] (2018.2.10.) and to help with making plans, designs and establishing policies by conducting experimental study with the enhanced floor area regulations. Methods: We conduct Experimental study, field work and interview for this paper. In experimental study, verification of the effective floor area was proceeded by measuring activity space for people in manual wheelchair, electric wheel chair and electric scooter and also reviewed useable area with the space expanded 0.2m both width and depth. In filed work, conducted an observation what other things (ex. sanitary equipment, hand rail and so on) can also affect the active space as well as effective floor space. In the interview, other problems and requirements that were not revealed were experimental study and observation of field work. Results : it's expected to provide better access to toilets for the disabled with the law revision of effective floor area. But, with the usage increasement of enlarged wheel chair and electric wheel chair, expanding side areas of toilet is also highly likely to be required going forward. Implications : Additional research is required on locations of exists and internal arrangement that effect the usage of toilet. It should be led to Universal design by making additional investigation and verification of the users patterns.

The Effects of Online Home Learning in Connection with Extracurricular Activities for Lifelong Education for the Disabled at University on Cafeterias Cooking Assistance Skills of Job Search Persons with Developmental Disabilities

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of online home learning in connection with extracurricular activities for lifelong education for the disabled in university on the cooking aids skills of cafeterias for the job search persons with developmental disabilities. Three people with job search developmental disabilities who have been in a state of unemployment for three years after graduating from a special high school course participated in the experiment. In order to verify the meaningful functional relationship between independent variables and dependent variables, multiple probe design across subjects, one of the main techniques of a single object study, was used. The experimental conditions according to the research design consisted of the steps of baseline, intervention, maintenance, and generalization. The dependent variable of this study is the restaurant cooking aid skills in the cafeteria, and three subskills such as side dish arrangement, sink arrangement, and dish washing were combined by task analysis. And the independent variable of this study was composed of procedures and methods to teach the environment, tools and materials related to the performance of dependent variables to the developmental disabled people at home by using real-time image technique through zoom service, and the contents of the performance by stages of task analysis. In addition, independent variables were applied to the subjects in the course of the extracurricular activities with the theme and contents of lifelong education for the disabled at university. Students who completed the above extracurricular activities practiced the intervention scene of the researcher through the screen sharing of zoom service. As a result, the subjects with developmental disabilities effectively acquired and maintained the positive response performance of dependent variables through independent variables. The subjects also showed high positive responses to generalization tests conducted in kitchens in cafeterias located elsewhere in the same university.

정신간호사와 간호대학생의 인권감수성, 정신장애인에 대한 옹호태도와 옹호개입 (Human Rights Sensitivity, Advocacy Attitudes, and Advocacy Interventions for Mentally Disabled People in Psychiatric Nurses and Nursing Students)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to verify the relationship between human rights sensitivity, advocacy attitudes, and advocacy interventions for mentally disabled people in psychiatric nurses and nursing students. Methods: This is a descriptive study. Using questionnaires, data were collected from 206 participants who were recruited from one mental health institute, one general hospital, and one university in S city. Data were analyzed by t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient using SPSS/WIN 22. Results: The mean age was $33.8{\pm}12.89$. The mean scores of human rights sensitivity, advocacy attitudes, and advocacy intervention was $37.7{\pm}18.09$, $53.7{\pm}5.67$, and $47.4{\pm}7.08$, respectively. Human rights sensitivity correlated significantly with advocacy attitudes (r=.25, p=.020) and advocacy intervention (r=.17, p=.015). Also, there was a significant positive correlation between advocacy attitudes and advocacy intervention (r=.44, p<.001). Conclusion: These findings highlight that advocacy attitudes and advocacy interventions for mentally disabled people could be improved by increasing human rights sensitivity. Tailored education programs will be effective in the field of mental health care services to increase human rights sensitivity.

장애인평생교육'의', '을 위한', '으로부터' 내부 토대: 발달장애(developmental disabilities)-학교(schools) 융합 (Internal Foundation on the 'of', 'for', 'from' Lifelong Education for the Disabled: Convergence of Developmental Disabilities and Schools)

  • 본 연구는 장애인평생교육의 내부 토대를 탐색하는 데 목적을 두어 실시되었다. 이를 위한 내용 의미의 구성체계에 대해 장애인평생교육을 기준으로 주체를 의미하는 '의(of)', 목적을 의미하는 '을 위한(for)', 실천적 주요 기반을 의미하는 '으로부터(from)'와 같이 세 가지 요소로 분류 구성하였다. 연구 방법은 장애인평생교육 지원체제의 내부 토대를 형성하기 위해 학문적 근거나 실천적 적용 모델 및 방안을 논의하거나 실제화한 선행연구를 통한 문헌분석이 일차적으로 고려되었으며, 이차적으로는 문헌분석의 근거를 기초로 하여 연구 내용의 구체성을 제고하기 위해 전문가 회의를 실시하였다. 연구 내용은 장애인평생교육의 내부 토대를 형성하기 위하여 요구되는 주체, 목적, 실천적 주요기반을 종합하여 발달장애 토대화와 학교 토대화와 같이 크게 두 가지로 제시되었다. 위 두 가지 토대 요인에 의하여 장애인평생교육 지원체제의 내부적 보편성을 일차적으로 확립하고, 연계적으로 감각장애 유형 및 일반평생교육 분야와 융합하는 측면이 반영되었다. 연구 결과, 장애인평생교육 지원체제 전반의 장기적 안정성 측면이 분석되었다.

학령 전 발달장애아 어머니의 시간관리행동과 시간관리만족도 및 양육스트레스와의 관계 (The Relationship between Time Management Behavior and Parenting Stress among Mothers of Preschool Children with Developmental Disabilities)

  • This study focuses on the relationship between time management behavior and parenting stress of mothers with developmentally disabled children. The participants of this study were 162 mothers whose children have developmental disabilities and attend pre-school and social welfare centers for early education. This study investigates the time management behaviors of the participants, and whether these behaviors have an effect on their time management satisfaction and parenting stress. The findings were as follows: 1) The time management behaviors of the participants were lower than average, scoring 2.87 out of 5. The order of dimensional scores from highest to lowest were sequencing, planning, recording habits, evaluating, and setting goals. 2) Time management satisfaction and parenting stress for the participants exhibited a negative correlation. 3) Adaptation behaviors of the children and time management behaviors of the mothers were factors that had significant effects on the mothers' parenting stress. These results showed the importance of time management for mothers with developmentally disabled children.

장애인 자립생활운동에 나타난 임파워먼트 과정 연구 (A Study on Empowerment Process through Independent Living Movement for the Disabled)

  • 임파워먼트와 관련된 여러 선행연구들은 현재의 실천이 임파워먼트의 실제 이념을 충분히 반영하지 못한 채 매우 미시적이고 제한적으로만 이해되고 있음을 공통적으로 지적하고 있다. 또 이러한 실천을 가능하게 하는 구체적 기법에 대한 정보가 부족함을 강조하고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 구조적이고 제도적인 변화를 경험하고 있으며, 이러한 활동의 결과로 실제적인 정책변화를 이루어낸 사례로서 장애인 자립생활운동과 그 발전과정에 나타난 임파워먼트의 특성을 파악하고자 하였다. 분석결과 임파워먼트의 과정은 총 5단계로 구성되며 그 중 개인의 임파워먼트와 관련해서는 의식화 과정이, 거시적 임파워먼트와 관련해서는 조직화가 매우 중요한 과제임을 알 수 있었다.

의사와 간호사의 장애인에 대한 태도 (Attitudes of Physicians and Nurses toward with Disabled Person)

  • Purpose: This study was designed to explore the attitudes of physicians and nurses. Method: Attitudes were measured by using the korean version of the SADP(Scale of Attitudes toward the Disabled Persons : Choi, G. H., & Lam, C. S., 2000). A korean version SADP consist of 24-item, six-point Likert-type scale(the points are -3, -2, -1, +1, +2, +3, where -3 is disagree very much and +3 is Agree very much), measuring general attitudes toward people with disabilities. The sample included 90 physicians, 114 nurses at a university hospital in Busan. The data were collected using questionnaires, and were analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean score, standard deviation, t-test and one-way ANOVA. Result: When studying the physicians group by itself, SADP scores tended to increase with women physicians, old age, married, higher educational level, more years of experience, medical unit. When studying the nurses group by itself, SADP scores tended to increase with the age of thirty, single, educational level, more years of experience, surgical unit. But not to a statistically significant degree. Conclusion: Findings suggest that the nurses had significantly higher score than the physicians(t=-4.63, p<.001). When studying the physicians group and the nurses group by itself, not to a statistically significant degree.
