In the modern society, instructional methods using diverse media have appeared thanks to the development of Information & Communication Technology, and applicability of such instructional methods has been fully corroborated. However, customized contents allowing for disabled children's environment are still insufficient. Hence, this study produced educational contents of play activities for children with developmental disability, through applying N-screen technology, IT technology that can provide the same contents via a variety of digital media. The produced contents allow programs to be set up according to a child's individual characteristics and be carried out anywhere and anytime via an Internet-enabled digital device. Further, the developed contents were produced so that they could be accessed from a child's various environment (home, school, etc.) via a PC, a smart phone, a portable from a child's various environment (home, school, etc.) via a PC, a smart phone, a portable device, etc. and that the same educational program could be conducted in linkage at home, school, etc. Three children with Intellectual disability and autism spectrum disorder were applied to the manufactured content. As a result, Content interaction between interaction between teachers and students in play training could use as a medium. In addition, the children's ability to select the appropriate components and reinforcements, special education professionals have used the content of the interviews are helpful in mediation than the existing content.

Although the stainless steel crowns have been recognized as the most effective and durable form of restoration for primary molars, they have been regarded by many dentists as having definite demerits such as invasive nature of procedural complexity and behavioral aspects of children. As an alternative to conventional technique of stainless steel crown restoration, the Hall technique was first introduced in 1988, which is characterized by just pushing the pre-contoured, cement filled crown form onto the abutment molar with no local anesthesia, no caries removal, no tooth preparation. According to several reports, this can slow, arrest, or even reverse the progress of caries. In addition, its atraumatic feature gives less discomfort and stress to children than conventional one, which is thought excellent especially in younger children. Also, It has been reported to be effective and acceptable to dentist, child patients and their parents. In this case study, three children with age of 4 years 5 months, 4 years 10 months, 6 years 4 months were treated with stainless steel crowns using Hall technique on first primary molar respectively. The teeth were free from pulpal, periapical pathology. After follow up of about 3 to 6 months period, the results showed clinically successful outcomes without any marked complication in pulp, tooth or soft tissue till now. But, it should be kept in mind that this technique is not proper to every child, every carious molar, or every dentist. Thorough distinction of indicated cases and continuous follow-up check is highly required. Conclusively, Hall technique might be an effective and realistic minimally invasive alternative for the carious primary molars especially in younger or disabled children, despite potential doubts on its efficacy and some definite limitations.

This study was a survey study to provide the base data necessary to prepare efficient management plans for the mothers with disabled children by type, comparing degrees of disability acceptance, stress, coping method and wellness between mothers with physical functional disordered children and developmental disordered children. The study subjects were a mother who raises disordered children. Data collection was conducted from October 2018 to April 2019, and differences between the two groups were analyzed as t-test, ANOVA, and Pearson correlation. In results, Studies have shown that there are differences between the two groups as mothers with physical functional disordered children and mothers with developmental disordered children as degrees of disability acceptance, stress, treatment and wellness. Disability acceptance and coping method of mothers with physical functional disordered children (r=0.23, p=.033), disability acceptance and Wellness (r=0.51, p<.001) have shown positive correlations and disability acceptance and stress (r=-0.72, p<.001) have shown negative correlations. Disability acceptance and wellness (r=0.40, p<.001) of the mother with a developmental disordered child have shown a significant positive correlation, and disability acceptance and stress (r=-0.71, p<.001) have shown a significant negative correlations. The higher the degree of disability acceptance, the lower the stress level and the higher the coping method and wellness mothers with physical functional disordered children had. The higher disability acceptance, the lower stress degrees and the higher wellness degrees mothers with developmental disordered children had. In order to improve disability acceptance by mothers with physical functional disordered children, it was necessary to improve both coping methods and wellness with stress reducing strategy, while the mother with developmental disordered children were needed strategies to reduce stress and improve wellness.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop an empowerment program as a nursing intervention for mothers who care for a child with cerebral palsy at home and to determine the effects of the program on those mothers' self efficacy, coping behavior and burden. Method: An non-equivalent control group pretest-posttest design was used in this study. An Empowerment program was developed based on Dunst & Trivette's model. Using the program, the study was carried out from Dec. 13, 2003 to Jan. 17, 2004, mothers whose children, aged 1 to 6, were outpatients of the Dept. of Rehabilitation Medicine, at P University Hospital or registered at educational institutions for early disabled children. The experimental group of subjects were included in the new empowerment program which was held for two and half hours every week for 6 times. Results: After treatment with the Empowerment Program, the experimental group was found to be significantly increased in score for self efficacy(t=4.55, p<.01), coping behavior(t=5.54, p<.001), objective burden(t=-3.96, p<.01) and subjective burden(t=-5.05, <.01), in comparison to the control group. Conclusion: The Empowerment Program is very effective in increasing self efficacy and coping behavior of mothers having a child with cerebral palsy and decreasing their burden. Finally, this study would recommend that an empowerment program should be extended to community facilities such as public health offices and welfare centers.

PURPOSE: The purpose of this investigation was to conduct a systemic review of studies that examine the effects of strengthening exercise on gait ability and GMFM in children with cerebral palsy and propose a standard for cerebral palsy therapy based on a meta-analysis of the studies. METHODS: An extensive literature search was conducted using databases including the KISS (Korean studies Information Service System), RISS, DBpia, PubMed and ScienceDirect, with the following search terms: 'Strengthening Exercise,' 'Resistance Exercise,' 'Gait ability,' 'GMFM' or 'cerebral palsy'. RESULTS: Eleven studies were included in this review and the duration of the intervention varied from 5 to 24 weeks. The number of application per week was mostly 2-3 times, while 5 intervention per week was adopted in a few cases. The total number of intervention applied varied from 18 to 36 and the respective effect sizes of GMFM on crawling and sitting were very high (1.075 and .881) while those of GMFM on standing and walking were very low(.206 and .125). The effect size was for gait speed was only .221. CONCLUSION: Trunk exercise and lower limb exercise effectively improved GMFM in children with cerebral palsy, resulting in improved outcomes in sitting and crawling. The results of this study will be useful for designing evidencebased cerebral palsy therapy programs.
This study, taking the children with a disorder as the subject, has an object of making an comparative analysis on the dental status according to a degree of recognition on dental hygiene and to the actional factors of home dental hygiene to search for its improving measure. As its analytical method, with the use of SPSS, I used a cross analysis and percentage to take statistics on them. 1.The higher educational level a child with a mental order has, the higher frequency of brushing teeth he(she) has. And then the higher monthly income resulted in the higher frequency of brushing teeth. 2. In a teeth inspection according to the times of snack-eating of a child with a mental disorder, there was a statistics that according to whether the child's mother has a job or not, the times of snack-eating is different. 3.In analyzing the importance of the education of dental hygiene according to the parents' social characteristics, he answered to participate in an educational program for dental hygiene.
This study was conducted to get a resonable set of budget allocation to public health programs. Matrix Delphi technique was used to obtain the logic of study results and eventually to form a human model which could predict opinion of professionals on budget allocation. Thirty-two professionals in academic and governmental area responded to Delphi survey. Questionnaire was developed using matrix formation, and the matrix was formed by 6 decision criteria on budget allocation and 26 public health programs. The decision criteria are as following: size of problem(morbidity), severity of problem, social equity, importance of prevention, technical feasibility and efficiency of programs. Severity of problem dropped out of the model because it had significant correlation with the size of problem. A total score of each program was obtained by weighting the relative importance of each criteria which also were given by survey respondents. These total scores indicate that the most important public health program is vaccination for infants and children in terms of budget allocation. Monitoring communicable diseases, mental health program, and anti-smoking program are the next. In addition, respondents were asked of the desirable budget size of each program. The result was rearranged by multiple regression model using the scores of each decision criteria. In this process, the current budget size of central government was provided to the respondents, and included in the model. h set of desirable budgets modified using tile model was obtained. Considering the current size of budget, tile results of the model is very different from that of the total score. Managing dementia is ranked the first. Health promotion program for the elderly, rehabilitation of the disabled and monitoring communicable diseases are the next. The need to increase the budget of vaccination for the infants and children was not found as so high. The matrix structure in Delphi survey gave us the precise basis to make optimal decision, and made it possible to develop an opinion predicting model. However the plentifulness and diversity of professional opinions were not fully obtained due to the limited number of decision criteria.
Universal designs begins from observing things. This paper understands contradiction and irrationality about drink bottle used unintentionally in our common life. Those have not found out until now. So an example observation about problem derivation and a practice method of Universal design is presented. People of various classes, such as a child, an old person and a woman, a male, the man in the street, and a disabled person, have been using drink bottle recently. However, the design of drink bottle has become on the basis of the fine and common man, so the other people, for example, children or handicapped persons experience many situations which cannot open cap or cannot be drunk without external help. This research posed questions from the children to the elders about drink bottle by the viewpoint of universal design paying attention to such problems. In the research result, the fixed quantity and qualitative quantity about problem are commented. And the fixed quantity utilized frequency analysis and chi-square verification ($X^2$) for the questionnaire result on the basis, and the qualitative quantity pointed out result in the universal design principle through the data of a precedence research result. An alternative plan for drink bottle's design is presented through case observation of conceptual approach to method of Universal design.
