PMSM의 자속-토크 밴드를 고려한 DTC-PWM 제어 방식 (DTC-PWM control method of PMSM using the flux-torque Band)

  • This paper presents a DTC-PWM(Direct Torque Control-Pluse Width Modulation) method of PMSM(Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor) using the flux-torque hysteresis band. In order to keep the flux and torque error of the PMSM within the hysteresis band, the optimal PWM duty ratio is calculated by the error of the flux and torque with the flux and torque vector of the selected voltage vector. According to the flux duty ratios and the torque duty ratios, the optimized duty ratio to reduce the errors is selected by the calculated duty ratios. In the proposed method, the selected voltage vector is divided into d-q axis components with a simple method. And the flux duty ratios and torque duty ratios are estimated by the applied voltage vector. The proposed DTC-PWM for PMSM was verified by computer simulation.

  • This paper presents a new carrier based pulse-width modulation (PWM) method for matrix converters. By using the concept of average over one switching period, the modulation algorithm and the required equations are derived to synthesize the desired output voltage and to achieve the controlled input power factor. The proposed method uses a continuous carrier and the predetermined duty ratio signals to directly generate the gating signals and, thus, is referred to as "direct duty ratio PWM (DDPWM)". The feasibility and validity of the proposed method were verified by simulation and experiment.

  • An advanced direct torque control (DTC) with pulse width modulation (PWM) method is presented in this paper. The duty ratio calculation of the selected voltage vector is based on the voltage functions of the selected voltage vector according to the sector angle. The proposed DTC uses a conventional DTC scheme with six sector divisions and switching rules. However, the winding voltages are supplied by the PWM approach. Furthermore, the duty ratio of the switching voltage vector is determined by the flux, torque error, and motor speed. The base voltage that shall determine the duty ratio can be calculated by approximate voltage functions according to the voltage angle. For the calculation of base voltages, second-order quadratic functions are used to express the output voltage of the selected voltage vector according to voltage angle. The coefficients for the second-order quadratic functions are selected by the voltage vector, which is determined by the switching rules of the DTC. In addition, the voltage functions are calculated by the coefficients and voltage angle between the voltage vector and rotor position. The switching voltages from the calculated duty ratio can supply the proper torque and flux to reduce the ripple and error. The proposed control scheme is verified through practical experimental comparisons.

  • A novel general direct duty ratio pulse width modulation strategy is proposed to modulate matrix converters. By using average concept over one switching period, the modulation algorithm and the required equations are derived to synthesize the desired output voltage and to achieve the controlled input power factor. The proposed method use continuous carrier and the predetermined duty ratio signal for directly generating gating signals an thus is named "direct duty ratio PWM(DDPWM)". The feasibility and validity of the proposed strategy are verified by experimental results.

  • In this paper, pulse-width modulation (PWM) control strategy of various topologies of matrix converters is presented, which is based on direct duty ratio PWM (DDPWM). Because the DDPWM method has the characteristics of the inherent per-phase modular structure, it can be effectively applied to single-phase, two-phase and three-phase four-leg matrix converters as well as the common three-phase to three-phase matrix converter. Also, this paper treats command generation method in each matrix converter. The feasibility and validity of the proposed method are verified by experimental results.

  • MPPT가 미적용된 기존 태양광 가로등은 최대 30%의 출력저하를 유발한다고 보고되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 출력 저하로부터 태양광발전시스템의 효율을 향상시키기 위해 다이렉트 듀티비 제어 알고리즘을 적용한 250W 태양광가로등을 위한 충전제어기를 제안하였으며, PWM 제어기와 전력 토폴로지를 다루고, MPPT 알고리즘을 분석하였다. 전력변환부는 푸쉬풀 강압 컨버터로 구성하고, PWM 제어기는 8비트 MCU를 기반으로 해서 제조 원가를 낮추도록 하였다. 다이렉트 듀티비 제어 알고리즘을 적용한 PWM 제어기는 태양광모듈의 최대전력점을 지속적으로 추적하여 출력 전력을 증가시킨다. 실험 결과, 241W 태양광시뮬레이터 환경에서 97.1~97.4%의 MPPT 효율을 나타내었으며, 실제 응용제품에 적용할 수 있을 것으로 예상된다.

  • Direct duty-ratio PWM schemes for continuous fault tolerant operation of matrix converter-fed motor drives are presented. The proposed method features simple modular modulation structure based on per output phase concept, which requires no additional modification on the normal modulation schemes for fault-tolerant applications. Realizations of fault-tolerant strategy applied to different system configurations are also treated to enhance the system flexibility. The proposed method can be effectively applied to treat the motor open phase fault and converter switching device failure. Simulation and experimental results show the feasibility and validation of the proposed strategies.

  • In this paper, an advanced torque control scheme of SRM using DITC(Direct Instantaneous Torque Control) and PWM(pulse width modulation) is investigated. The proposed DITC-PWM regulates a duty ratio of the phase switch according to the torque error and simple control rules of DITC without any hysteresis bandwidth. The proposed control method is verified by the simulations and experimental results.

  • 본 논문에서는 SRM의 토크리플 억제를 위하여 PWM(Pulse width modulation)과 직접토크제어(DITC, Direct Instantaneous Torque Control) 방식의 결합에 의한 제어방식을 제안하였다. 기존의 직접토크제어와 달리, 제안된 방식은 한 샘플링 구간 내에서 하나 또는 두 개의 스위칭 모드로 동작하며, 스위칭 패턴의 폭은 토크 오차와 직접 토크제어 방식의 제어규칙에 따라 제어된다. 또한 실제 스위치의 제어폭이 토크 오차에 따라 가변적으로 제어됨으로써, 같은 샘플링 주기에서 기존의 직접토크제어 방식에 비하여 토크리플을 크게 억제할 수 있으며, 토크 연산의 샘플링 주기를 크게 할 수도 있는 장점이 있다. 간단한 제어규칙과 PWM 듀티비의 계산으로 복잡한 연산이 요구되지 않으므로 저가의 마이크로 프로세서에 의해 구현이 가능하다. 제안된 방식은 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션과 실험을 통하여 검증하였다.

자동차 제동 솔레노이드 밸브용 디지털 PWM 컨트롤러 설계 (A Design of digital PWM controller for automotive brake solenoid valve)

  • ABS/ESC 기능 통합 SoC에 사용되는 자동차 제동 솔레노이드 밸브 구동용 디지털 PWM 컨트롤러를 설계하였다. 직접 제어와 PI 제어 방식을 지원하도록 설계된 PWM 컨트롤러는 총 12채널로 구성된다. 직접 제어 방식의 6개 채널은 설정된 PWM 듀티값에 따라 일정한 PWM을 출력하며, PI 제어 방식의 6개의 채널은 설정된 전류값을 기준으로 드라이버의 전류 값에 따라 변화하는 PWM을 출력하여 일정한 전류를 갖도록 설계되었다. 또한 솔레노이드 밸브 열림 감지, Dither, PWM 위상 시프트 기능 등을 갖는다. 설계된 PWM 컨트롤러는 44,779 게이트로 구현되었으며, 0.18um CMOS 공정으로 제작된 칩의 측정 결과로부터 기능이 정상적으로 동작하는 것을 확인하였다.
