This paper provides sufficient conditions for the robustness of Affine linear TFM(Transfer Function Matrix) MIMO (Multi-Input Multi-Output) uncertain systems based on Rosenbrock's DNA (Direct Nyquist Array). The parametric uncertainty is modeled through a Affine TFM MIMO description, and the unstructured uncertainty through a bounded perturbation of Affine polynomials. Gershgorin's theorem and concepts of diagonal dominance and GB(Gershgorin Bands) are extended to include model uncertainty. For this type of parametric robust performance we show robustness of the Affine TFM systems using Nyquist diagram and GB, DNA(Direct Nyquist Array). Multiloop PI/PB controllers can be tuned by using a modified version of the Ziegler-Nickels (ZN) relations. Simulation examples show the performance and efficiency of the proposed multiloop design method.

The present study proposes and tests an integrative model for global consumers to examine the relation among fashion marketing mix, brand attitude, brand loyalty, and purchase intention in the jeans market. The questionnaire surveys 692 consumers in the United States, China, and France. The statistical analysis methods that are used are as follows: frequency analysis, factor analysis, SEM analysis, and multi-group analysis. The results show that fashionability, perceived quality, and advertising have a direct and also a positive effect on brand attitude; however, advertising didn't have a direct effect on purchase intention. In addition, the results of the SEM analysis show that brand attitude leads to brand loyalty, while also showing a direct and indirect positive effect on purchase intention. Furthermore, the multi-group analysis reveals significant differences in SEM among countries such as the United States, China, and France.

This paper empirically examines the relationship between outward foreign direct investment (OFDI) of Korean manufacturing firms and the servicification of domestic employment using a firm-level panel data. In this study, considering the issue of low productivity in the Korean service sector, we categorize service employment into core and non-core services and investigate their relationship with OFDI using the firm-fixed effects model. The empirical results show that the share of core service employment exhibits a positive correlation with the extensive OFDI. On the other hand, the share of non-core service employment, which is expected to generate relatively low value-added, does not show a significant relationship with the extensive OFDI. When we divide the samples based on host countries and the type of subsidiaries, the impact on servicification varies depending on the technological capabilities of host countries and their participation in global value chains. Our study suggests that Korean manufacturing firm's internationalization strategies may facilitate a transition from labor-intensive employment, like the cases in advanced countries, to technology-intensive employment through OFDI and other means.

여러 가지 형태의 동영상을 재생하기 위해서는 특정 디코더 및 Demux가 필요하다. 필요에 따라, 많은 개발자들이 필터 개발을 하고 있지만, 기존의 GOM플레이어나 KMP플레이어는 API가 Open되어있지 않아, 작성된 필터 사용의 어려움이 있고, 동영상 재생에 사용되는 Codec의 선택에 대한 문제점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 작성된 필터를 이용하여, 손쉽게 플레이할 수 있는 라이브러리를 개발하며, 화면을 찾기 위한 Seek기능을 설계하고, 화면캡처, 전체화면, 재생화면, 확대, 축소 등 사용자 편의성을 위한 DLL파일로 구축하여 개발한다. 본 연구는 멀티미디어 제작 S/W기술과 정보통신 발전에 기여 할 것이다.

Foreign direct investment (FDI) is especially important for developing countries. This study investigates the determinants of FDI in the case of Indonesia. Most empirical researches in this field used time series data of a single country or panel data of several countries. Although panel data analysis is more comprehensive, however results taken from cross-country analysis cannot be directly applied to any specific country in the dataset and therefore lacks practicality. In this research, panel data analysis of a single country is performed to overcome the aforementioned shortcomings. Five determinants of FDI are tested using panel data of 33 Indonesian provinces over 10-year period of time. Two methodologies are adopted, random/fixed effects model and Granger Causality. The results show that only market size significantly affects FDI when tested using both methodologies. Human capital and financial market development show significant result in one of the two methodologies. While, economic growth and infrastructure did not show any significant results at all. This research stresses the importance of comprehensive single country analysis since only one out of five commonly discussed determinants is applicable in the case of Indonesia. Governments should therefore carefully reconsider the use of cross-country analysis as a basis of their policy formulations.

This paper describes a direct transfer method of multimedia data stream between multimedia processor and network device without using system memory. The hardware architecture and functions for direct transfer, the method to transfer multimedia data to and from the multimedia processor and etc are described. Comparing the proposed method with general methods, I show that the direct transfer method can decrease number of bus accesses and bus cycles.

We define weak distributive $n$-semilattices and $n$-lattices, using variants of the absorption law and those of the distributive law. From a weak distributive $n$-semilattice, we construct direct system of subalgebras which are weak distributive $n$-lattices and show that its direct limit is a reflection of the category $wDn$-SLatt of the weak distributive $n$-semilattices.

In this paper, we suggest a modified Gradient method for the identification of plant parameter. And also, through this new identification method, a direct adaptive control theory is proposed for a single-input single-output discrete system. Direct adaptive control theory proposed in this papar ensures global stability and the results of compute simulation show that the proposed algorithm can be applied to both stable and unstable plant.

A preliminary study has been done to investigate the thermal performance of an indirect system. Direct systems are also analyzed and the results are compared with those of the indirect system where possible. Values from the numerical simulation show very good agreement with the measured data. Although the indirect system is generally expensive and not as efficient as direct systems, it is more reliable in frigid weather conditions like the winters in Korea.

The expanding technique of the Stochastic Finite Element Method(SFEM) is proposed in this paper for adapting direct integration methods in stochastical dynamic analysis of structures. Grafting the direct integration methods and the SFEM together, one can deal with nonlinear structures and nonstationary process problems without any restriction. The stochastical central diffrence and stochastic Houbolt methods are introduced to show the expanding technique, and their adaptabilities are discussed. Results computed by the proposed method (the Stochastic Finite Element Method in Dynamics: SFEMD) for two degree-of-free- dom system are compared with those obtained by Monte Carlo Simulation.
