원전에 사용되는 직류전압제어 대전류원의 개발 (Large-Scale Current Source Development in Nuclear Power Plant)

  • 원전해체 시 대용량 처분시스템을 구동하거나 운영 중 제어봉 구동장치 제어시스템과 같은 대규모 측정전류를 요하는 중요설비를 측정 및 테스트하기 위해서는 측정 매체로서 안정적으로 전류를 공급할 수 있는 전류원이 필요하다. 그러나, 흔히 말하는 전원공급기는 전압원으로서 전압만을 내기 때문에 측정부하에 관계없이 일정한 전류를 공급할 수 있는 전류원 역할을 하지 못한다. 전류원은 전압원과 달리 제품을 만들기가 쉽지 않다. 원전 부품의 전류-전압 변환시험과 같은 건전성을 평가하기 위해서는 정상전류치보다 몇십배 훨씬 큰 수십 mA나 암페어 수준의 전류를 인가하여 테스트를 수행해야 하기 때문에 암페어(ampere) 단위의 전류를 공급할 수 있는 전류원이 필수적이다. 따라서 본 개발품에서는 이러한 필요에 의하여 입력이 전압으로 나타나는 전압원을 이용하여 측정대상에 원하는 전류를 일정하게 공급할 수 있는 전압제어으로서 대용량 전류를 공급할 수 있는 직류전압제어 대전류원을 개발하였다. 개발된 제품의의 신뢰성을 확인하기 위하여 원전에서 사용되는 실제의 데이터값을 적용하여 테스트하였으며, 그 결과를 분석하여 선택회로의 정당성을 입증하였다.

  • 이 논문에서는 모델조정기법과 실수코딩 유전알고리즘을 이용하여 주어진 직류모터 시스템의 파라미터를 추정하였다. 종래에 논 Ziegler- Nichols(Z-N)동조법, Cohen-Coon(C-C)동조법, IMC(Internal model control)동조법, Lopez ITAE(L-ITAE)동조법과 같이 경험적이고 실험적인 많은 방법들이 제안되었다. 본 논문에서는 실수코딩 유전알고리즘을 이용하여 PID 제어기의 파라미터들을 동조하는 방법을 제안하고 시뮬레이션과 실험을 통해 제안한 제어기의 성능을 증명하였다.

  • 본 연구에서 고에너지 금속 알루미늄의 효과적인 점화를 위해 개발한 직류 방식의 스팀 플라즈마 점화기 가스온도를 OH radical의 방출 스펙트럼을 사용하여 측정하였다. 플라즈마 제트온도는 초고온이므로 비접촉식 광학 계측 방법인 볼츠만 기울기법과 스펙트럼 비교 분석법을 이용하여 측정하였으며 각각의 방법은 정밀하게 검증 후 실험에 적용되었다. 플라즈마 점화기의 노즐 팁으로부터 30 mm 범위에서의 제트온도 측정결과 두 방법 모두 알루미늄의 점화온도(${\approx}2400K$) 이상의 2900 K ~ 5800 K를 확인할 수 있었다.

Study of physical simulation of electrochemical modification of clayey rock

  • Clayey rock has large clay mineral content. When in contact with water, this expands considerably and may present a significant hazard to the stability of the rock in geotechnical engineering applications. This is particularly important in the present work, which focused on mitigating some unwelcomed properties of clayey rock. Changes in its physical properties were simulated by subjecting the rock to a low voltage direct current (DC) using copper, steel and aluminum electrodes. The modified mechanism of the coupled electrical and chemical fields acting on the clayey rock was analyzed. It was concluded that the essence of clayey rock electrochemical modification is the electrokinetic effect of the DC field, together with the coupled hydraulic and electrical potential gradients in fine-grained clayey rock, including ion migration, electrophoresis and electro-osmosis. The aluminum cathodes were corroded and generated gibbsite at the anode; the steel and copper cathodes showed no obvious change. The electrical resistivity and uniaxial compressive strength (UCS) of the modified specimens from the anode, intermediate and cathode zones tended to decrease. Samples taken from these zones showed a positive correlation between electric resistivity and UCS.

지형에코 제거를 통한 UHF 윈드프로파일러의 바람벡터 개선 (Improvement in Wind Vector from UHF Wind Profiler Radar through Removing Ground Echo)

  • Ground echo is radar return from stationary targets such as buildings and trees. Wind vectors from the wind profile radar in Gangneung are affected by ground echoes due to the complex mountainous terrain located to the west and the south. These ground echoes make a spurious peak close to the direct current (DC) line signal in Doppler spectra. Wind vectors polluted by ground clutters were determined from spectra of oblique beams. After eliminated the terrain echoes, the accuracy of wind vector compared with radiosonde was improved about 68.4% and its relative coefficient was increased from 0.58 to 0.97.

  • In recent years for propulsion of cooling fan in cars are more used electrical motors than the engine direct coupled type. But the electrical motor which is now used has the brush and the commutator. Because of the brush and the commutator the electrical motor has short life time, low efficiency and mechanical- electrical noise. Therefore it is tried to develope brushless dc motor. The motor is located in the hot air from the radiator. The motor temperature increases high and the increasing of the motor temperature rolls big in its character. The cooling fan motor has relative small in size and input voltage is low. For 300 w output power must be the current of the motor high which causes high copper loss. In this paper will be tested and analysed characteristics of a dc motor which is now used for cooling fan and a BLDC motor will be designed with same character of the brushed motor and with considering of improvement of the efficiency. After design the motor should be analysed and tested.

광 기록 저장 장치를 위한 새로운 패리티 보존형 런-길이 제한 코드 (A New Parity Preserving Run-length Limited Code for Optical Recording System)

  • 본 논문에서는 광 기록 저장 시스템을 위한, 천이가 발생되는 최소 및 최대 런-길이 조건이 각각 2와 7이고 RMTR(repeated minimum transition run)을 4로 제한하는 새로운 패리티 보존형 런-길이 제한 (parity preserving run-length limited) 코드를 제안한다. 제안된 코드는 차세대 광 기록 시스템으로 주목받고 있는 (1,7) PP 코드나 현재 저장 시스템에 적용되고 있는 (2,10) 코드에 비해 밀도율과 RMTR, DC 성분 억제, 비트 에러율(BER), 시스템 복잡도 등의 측면에서 더 나은 성능을 보인다 . 본 논문은 몇 가지 모의실험을 통해 제안된 코드의 특성을 설명하고, 앞에서 언급된 코드와 비교하여 성능의 우위를 예시하였다.

HDD 스핀들 모터의 초기 구동 제어에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Start-up Control for HDD Spindle Motors)

  • Optimization method for the open loop commutation time intervals in HDD spindle start-up control is presented in this paper. A hard disk drive(HDD) uses a sensorless brushless DC motor(BLDC) for the platter rotation. Because there is no direct sensor for the rotor position, open loop commutations after sensing the rotor position at a standstill using inductive sensing method are performed to speed up the rotor up to a certain speed where the zero crossings of the back electromotive force(EMF) are measurable. Therefore successful open loop commutations are necessary for the stable start-up control of the spindle motors. Random neighborhood search(RNS) algorithm is introduced as a optimization technic in this paper. Rotor speed and its standard deviation are used as a cost function and commutation intervals obtained from the spindle motion equation are used as initial parameter values for the RNS. With the help of the proposed method optimized open loop commutation time intervals for the very low start-up current are acquired and tested. The experimental results shows that the proposed method can decrease the start-up failure rate of a HDD spindle motor.

  • The DC(Direct-Current) servo motor has widely used for many application areas, FA(Factory Automation), OA(Office Automation) and home applications. But DC servo motor needs periodical inspection because it has brush and commutator. Recently, AC servo motor has expanded it's application areas due to for the development of the power semi-conductor and control technology. But it has large torque ripple for it's small number of commutation. And it also has cogging torque due to permanent magenet rotor. Therefore it can't run balence rotarion. Many torque ripple reduction methods are published. In this paper, phase advanced method adopted for torque ripple reduction of AC servo motor. In this research, AC servo motor torque characteristic variation surveied under the phase advance control through the computer simulation. Under the simulation, the load inertia varied from 0.0001[Kg.m$^{2}$] to 0.0314[Kg.m$^{2}$]. The result os nonlinear simulation, torque and speed ripple of AC servo motor under the phase advance control reduced approximately 50[%] and 10[%]. And maximum torque of AC servo motor under phase advance control condition increased about 5[%] as compare with fixed switching time.

Dry Etching Characteristics of TiN Thin Films in BCl3-Based Plasma

  • We investigated the etching characteristics of titanium nitride (TiN) thin film in $BCl_3$/Ar inductively coupled plasma. The etching parameters were the gas mixing ratio, radio frequency (RF) power, direct current (DC)-bias voltages and process pressures. The standard conditions were as follows: total flow rate = 20 sccm, RF power = 500 W, DC-bias voltage = -100 V, substrate temperature = $40^{\circ}C$, and process pressure = 15 mTorr. The maximum etch rate of TiN thin film and the selectivity of TiN to $Al_2O_3$ thin film were 54 nm/min and 0.79. The results of X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy showed no accumulation of etch byproducts from the etched surface of TiN thin film. The TiN film etch was dominated by the chemical etching with assistance by Ar sputtering in reactive ion etching mechanism, based on the experimental results.
