Korea is ranked as the world's No. 1 country in its aging rate. While the interest and demand for health is rapidly increasing, the health status of the elderly is in the lowest among OECD members. Increased chronic diseases, the burden of medical costs and digital/untact changes of societies after COVID-19 have caused the direction of healthcare to be changed from treatment oriented to health care and prevention oriented, along with increased income levels and a desire for a healthy life. Amid this paradigm of change, the gap in health standards and health inequality for the elderly according to local structure and social conditions affects not only socio-economic but also the quality of life for individual senior citizen. Utilizing prior data of Aging Research Panel Survey, this study aims to compare and analyze health conditions and regional gaps which are significant influences on the satisfaction of the life of the elderly, and to suggest direction of studies for health care to provide solutions for health inequalities. The findings are intended to be a basic data for researching models of the New Normal Smart Healthcare System that bridge the health gap between the elderly and enhance life satisfaction with health care models suitable for regional characteristics in aging society.

This study is aimed to know whether there are any quality differences among wisdom, life satisfaction, self-esteem, psychological well-being, and child relationship in accordance with the individual characteristics of the elderly. The subjects in this study were 227 old people who were over 65 years old among people using the hall for the elderly or elderly welfare center, worship facilities in Cheonan City or Kyeonggi Province. In addition, the effect that wisdom influences each valuable showed that there were statistically significant in all of the satisfaction of living, self-esteem, psychological wellbeing, the quality of child relationship. The result of research in the interaction effects between sex and age showed the interaction effect.

This study is based on finding out how christian characteristics affects between christian theology major and non major students upon factors. Among various impacts, we especially have focused on personal profile and college life satisfaction, and what factors could relate to christian characteristics between personal characteristics variable (gender, age, grade, group activities, religion, communication time with parents, interpersonal relationship, ect.) and college satisfaction. Also, this study focused on what could be the differences between the christian theology major and non major students and if there are the differences, the survey will be analyzed and researched to figure out how much it differs from each other. Through this study christian theology major have presented the right christian virtue and had more effects of christian world view than non christian theology major students.

The purpose of this study was to confirm the effect of the marital satisfaction, depression, and self-esteem on the quality of life. 131 workers in K area were used for the final analysis. The data collection was conducted from March 15nd, 2017 to April 10th, 2017. The quality of life was measured by means of Korean version of life scale abbreviated version, WHOQOL-BREF. Descriptive statics, t-test, two-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient and step wise multiple regression with SPSS/WIN 18.0 were used to analyze the data. As a result of study, it was confirmed that regular workers were higher than irregular workers in the quality of life, marital satisfaction, depression, and self-esteem all. The quality of life was explained by the martial satisfaction, depression, averagely monthly pay, and spouse relationship as 34.3%. It is necessary to essentially implement the government's support and the corporate cooperation for the improvement of working condition in order to enhance the life quality of workers. Also, workers need to give value to themselves leading their life and form a positive relationship with people around them not to let their family life be negatively affected due to the employment stress.

The purpose of this study was to identify the level of awareness, uses, and satisfaction on home automation systems by the digital home residents, to reveal the existing problems using home automation systems, and to clarify residents' positive or negative life changes after using home automation systems. Two apartment complexes, which were relatively well equipped with home automation systems compared to other recently built apartments, were selected to perform the survey by digital home residents who were housewives and have lived in current home more than 6 months. The researcher developed a survey questionnaire for each apartment complex and collected data from 501 residents from May to June, 2008. The results of the study found low awareness and low uses of remote control systems of electric appliances through a cellular phone or PC from outside. Also, the significant variables which showed group differences in level of uses and satisfation were age, annual income, duration of residence, and level of considering home automation system before decision to move in. The results of the study also revealed that frequent breakdown was the most critical problem using home automation systems. Generally, using home automation systems affected to residents' life changes positively. More findings and suggestions for development of more user-friendly digital home services were discussed.

The purpose of this study was to investigate Stress Coping Type, Professor-student Interaction, Major Satisfaction on Life Stress of Nursing Students. The data were collected using questionnaire from 146 nursing students, May 27 to May 30, 2018 at a college in the J city. The analysis of the data was done through SPSS 20.0/window statistical analysis by descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation, and multiple regression. Upon examining the correlation between Life Stress and Professor-student Interaction, Major Satisfaction the correlation was significant. The result of the multiple regression indicates the Professor-student Interaction(β=-.34, p<.001) predict 29.5%(F=9.70, p<.001). Based on the results of the study, it is expected to be used as basic data for various programs to improve professor - student interaction of nursing students.

The purpose of this study is to elaborate the underlying mechanism by which information competency of those with disabilities influences their level of life satisfaction through a mediator, social capital built up through online and offline activities. To this end, the research conducts mediation analysis, comprised of three sets of regression by using the data of the "2018 Report on the Digital Divide." The results demonstrate that the information competency of those with disabilities has a significant effect on their level of life satisfaction; the higher the information competency, the greater the social capital. In addition, social capital partially mediates the relationship between information competency and life satisfaction. The policy implications from this study indicate that the efforts to improve information competency of those with disabilities should be made in a way that facilitates social interactions and community participation.

The purpose of this research was to examine conduction of 12 week exercise program for the aged of sanatorium on their cognitive function, depression, uneasiness, and living satisfaction. The subject of this research was 60 aged persons of H sanatorium in H-si and mental status examination and survey on depression criterion, uneasiness measurement, and living satisfaction of the aged were conducted. To examine the effects of the program, paired t-test was conducted. As a result, there were significant differences after 12-week exercise program in all factors such as cognitive function, depression, uneasiness and living satisfaction of the subjects. In conclusion, regular exercise program may positive effects on mental status cognitive status, depression, uneasiness, and living satisfaction of the aged. Therefore proper exercise form and program are necessary to the aged in long term care facilities.

The purpose of this study was to improve the understanding of stress coping in the very old and elderly and to improve life satisfaction through stress reduction as the population ages. To this end, this study aimed to test the mediating effect of social support on the relationship between stress coping and life satisfaction among very old people. In particular, we paid attention to the differences in stress coping from the existing elderly population and took the view that they should be studied as an independent group. To confirm this, we analysed 275 men and women aged 85 years and older who responded to the fifth supplementary survey of the National Elderly Security Panel (KReIS) conducted by the National Pension Service. IBM SPSS 26 was used to test the mediating effect of social support on the effect of stress coping measures on life satisfaction in the very old elderly. The results of the significance test of the independent variables on the mediating variable showed that stress coping was positively significant, i.e., the higher the level of stress coping, the higher the life satisfaction. In addition, the results of the significance test of the effects of the independent variables and mediators on the dependent variable showed that coping with stress had a significant effect, and the mediator, social support, also had a significant effect on life satisfaction. Therefore, this study suggests the need for social support to improve the level of life satisfaction through coping with stress in the very old elderly.
