  • Forward head posture (FHP) is a musculoskeletal disorder that causes neck pain. Several exercise interventions have been used in South Korea to improve craniovertebral angle (CVA) and relieve neck pain. There has been no domestic literature review study over the past 5 years that has investigated trends and effects of exercise intervention methods for CVA with neck pain. This domestic literature review aimed to evaluate the trends and effects of exercise interventions on CVA and neck pain in persons with FHP. A review of domestic literature published in Korean or English language between 2018 and 2022 was performed. Literature search was conducted on Google Scholar and Korea Citation Index by using the following keywords: "exercise," "exercise therapy," "exercise program," "forward head posture," and "neck pain." Ten studies were included in this review. All of the studies showed positive improvements after intervention programs that included exercises. Notably, four of these studies demonstrated significant differences in results between the experimental and control groups. Among the 10 studies, nine measured visual analogue scale or numerical rating scale scores and reported significant reductions in pain following interventions, including exercise programs. Five of these studies showed significant differences in results between the experimental and control groups. Furthermore, six studies that used neck disability index exhibited a significant decrease in symptoms after implementing intervention programs that included exercise, and significant differences in results were found between the experimental and control groups. This domestic literature review provides consistent evidence to support the application of various exercise intervention programs to improve CVA and relieve neck pain from FHP. Further studies are warranted to review the effects of various exercise interventions on FHP reported not only in domestic but also in international literature.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of learners' academic achievement and learner interaction through project - based learning. In the case of interaction, we focused on the field of learning, that is, the learner's communication style in various technical environments. The subjects of this study were 80 learners who took a 3-hour elective English language learning course at a university in Korea. This study is to investigate the effect of learner interaction through KakaoTalk and LMS (Learning Management System). As a result of the study, it was found that there was a significant difference between learner interaction by project - based learning and communication type and kakao talk utilization group and LMS (Learning Management System) group. 1) The results of the kakao talk utilization group were significant in both the learner interaction and the learner's academic achievement according to the project - based learning and communication type. For current digital native learners, Kakao Talk is the result of the fact that it is the optimal environment for problem solving, communication, and uploading and sharing of educational activities.

  • The purpose of this study was to analysis of food adaptation and dietary behavior of marriage migrant women in according to their acculturation type, and find out their relationship. The survey was conducted by well-trained researchers using questionnaires translated into English, Chinese and Vietnamese. Food adaptional score was the highest in the assimilation type, and the separation type was the lowest. Dietary behavioral score in daily intake of milk and dairy foods was the highest in the assimilation type. There were positive correlations occurred between food adaptional score and dietary behavioral score, and also, between food adaptional score and assimilation score. Analysis of structural equation models shows that only assimilation affects food adaptational score, and food adaptational score affects the improvement of dietary behavior. In conclusion, marriage migrant women's positive attitude of new cultures, assimilation, might help them not only adapt to new cultures, but food adaptation and right dietary behaviors.

  • With the development of digital technology and the increasing demand for learning how to improve one's ability to solve problems through play and participation interactions, a variety of edutainment game contents are being developed. The edutainment game contents developed until recently have received a large number of contents for intelligence development and transfer of knowledge such as Korean and English mathematics for children and children. Recently, there have been various researches on the necessity and effect of STEAM education that foster convergent science and technology talents with comprehensive thinking ability and scientific inquiry spirit through the fusion education method among the subjects including science, technology, engineering, mathematics, And there is a growing need for the development of a parish suitable for STEAM education. However, there is a lack of STEAM educational content development that incorporates the technology of creative convergence talent training to develop talented people who can think and solve problems by crossing various academic boundaries. Therefore, this study develops game contents for early childhood education by combining STEAM education which foster convergent science and technology talents with comprehensive thinking ability and scientific inquiry spirit. And we designed and implemented STEAM game contents for infant learning education which can induce the interest of children and have fun by using gyroscope sensor of smartphone.

Methods : Studies were collected from the PubMed, Embase, Web of Science, and Research Information Sharing Service databases. The key terms were "School readiness" AND ("Occupational Therapy" OR "Rehabilitation") in English and Korean. Total eight articles were selected through the selection and exclusion criteria. Results : The programs included multi-type training, motor skill training, parent training, and mobile application training. The providers were psychologists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech pathologists, community workers, educators, and the psychologists who conducted most of the research. The program factors can be classified into academic function, motor function, social function, parental training, and others. Academic and social functions accounted for the largest proportion of the respondents. The intervention improved multiple skills, literacy, parenting skills, and gross fine motor function.
