Development of Big Data-based Cardiovascular Disease Prediction Analysis Algorithm

  • Recently, the rapid development of artificial intelligence technology, many studies are being conducted to predict the risk of heart disease in order to lower the mortality rate of cardiovascular diseases worldwide. This study presents exercise or dietary improvement contents in the form of a software app or web to patients with cardiovascular disease, and cardiovascular disease through digital devices such as mobile phones and PCs. LR, LDA, SVM, XGBoost for the purpose of developing "Life style Improvement Contents (Digital Therapy)" for cardiovascular disease care to help with management or treatment We compared and analyzed cardiovascular disease prediction models using machine learning algorithms. Research Results XGBoost. The algorithm model showed the best predictive model performance with overall accuracy of 80% before and after. Overall, accuracy was 80.0%, F1 Score was 0.77~0.79, and ROC-AUC was 80%~84%, resulting in predictive model performance. Therefore, it was found that the algorithm used in this study can be used as a reference model necessary to verify the validity and accuracy of cardiovascular disease prediction. A cardiovascular disease prediction analysis algorithm that can enter accurate biometric data collected in future clinical trials, add lifestyle management (exercise, eating habits, etc.) elements, and verify the effect and efficacy on cardiovascular-related bio-signals and disease risk. development, ultimately suggesting that it is possible to develop lifestyle improvement contents (Digital Therapy).

시각, 청각 피드백을 이용한 디지털 페그보드 훈련 작업치료 프로그램이 뇌졸중 환자의 손 기능 및 시·지각에 미치는 영향 (Effects of a Digital Pegboard Training Program With Visual and Auditory Feedback on Hand Function and Visual Perception in Patients With Stroke)

  • 목적 : 본 연구는 시각, 청각 피드백을 이용한 디지털 페그보드 훈련 프로그램이 뇌졸중 환자의 손 기능과 시·지각에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 연구방법 : 연구 대상자는 뇌졸중 환자 22명으로 실험군(시각, 청각 피드백을 이용한 디지털 페그보드 훈련 작업치료 프로그램 및 전통적인 작업치료) 11명과 대조군(전통적인 작업치료) 11명으로 무작위 할당되었다. 실험군은 1회당 30분씩 주 3회 6주간 총 18회의 시각, 청각 피드백을 이용한 디지털 페그보드 훈련 프로그램을 적용하여 치료를 시행하였으며, 1회당 30분씩 주 2회는 12회의 전통적인 작업치료를 받아 총 30회의 치료를 시행 하였다. 대조군은 1회당 30분씩 주 5회, 6주간 총 30회를 작업치료사를 통하여 전통적인 작업치료를 받도록 하였다. 평가는 중재 전, 후로 손 기능을 측정하기 위하여 Nine-hole pegboard test와 뇌졸중상지기능검사(MFT)를 시행하였다. 결과 : 실험군과 대조군 모두 중재 전과 후 Nine-hole pegboard test와 MVPT-3에서 유의한 상승을 보였다 (p<.05). 두 군 간의 비교에서는 실험군이 대조군보다 Nine-hole pegboard test와 MVPT-3결과 변화량 차이에 서 유의한 향상을 보였다(p<.05). 결론 : 본 연구의 결과를 통하여 시각 및 청각 피드백을 이용한 디지털 페그보드 훈련 프로그램이 뇌졸중 환자의 손 기능과 시·지각기능의 향상을 위한 재활 프로그램에 유용하게 활용될 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

Aceclofenac이 골격근 형태에 미치는 효과 (Effect of Aceclofenac on the Skeletal Muscle)

  • There has been several usual ways to cure pain in osteological muscle: use oral medicine or injection, or apply medicine to a sore place. The purpose of this study was to examine, by using thermometer and digital infrared thermographic imaging, how much the permeation of aceclofenac, an anodyne and antiphlogistic, into sore skin brought a change to skin temperature after that was' applied to it. The findings of this study were as below; 1. A cream made of aceclofenac yielded $0.61^{\circ}C$ difference in temperature, but the difference wasn't statistically significant. 2. An aceclofenac to which oleic acid was added went through microemulsion and applied, and there was $0.3^{\circ}C$ change in temperature, the biggest significant difference(P<.05), after approximately 15 minutes passed. 3. An aceclofenac to which labrasol was added went through microemulsion and applied, and there was a growing rise in temperature with the lapse of time. After 30 minutes passed, the final temperature showed $1.25^{\circ}C$ rise, which was a significant change(P<.05). 4. As the temperature was measured by digital infrared thermographic imaging, there was about $3.97^{\circ}C$ fall, the biggest change, which was significant(P<.05). The findings of this study suggested that the application of aceclofenac to sore skin caused a change in skin temperature, as that permeated into it.

The Impact of Abdominal Drawing-in Maneuver and Tensor Fasciae Latae-iliotibial Band Self-stretching on Lumbopelvic Kinematics in Individuals With Lumbar Extension Rotation Syndrome

  • Background: The abdominal drawing-in maneuver (ADIM), a method of lumbar stabilization training, is an effective neuromuscular intervention for lumbar instability associated with low back pain (LBP). Objects: The purpose of this study was to compare the effect of a 2-week period of the ADIM and tensor fasciae latae-iliotibial band (TFL-ITB) self-stretching on lumbopelvic rotation angle, lumbopelvic rotation movement onset, TFL-ITB length, and pain intensity during active prone hip lateral rotation. Methods: Twenty-two subjects with lumbar extension rotation syndrome accompanying shortened TFL-ITB (16 males and 6 females) were recruited for this study. The subjects were instructed how to perform ADIM training or ADIM training plus TFL-ITB self-stretching program at home for a 2-week period. A 3-dimensional ultrasonic motion analysis system was used to measure the lumbopelvic rotation angle and lumbopelvic rotation movement onset. An independent t-test was used to determine between-group differences for each outcome measure (lumbopelvic rotation angle, lumbopelvic rotation movement onset, TFL-ITB length, and pain intensity). Results: The results showed that ADIM training plus TFL-ITB self-stretching decreased the lumbopelvic rotation angle, delayed the lumbopelvic rotation movement onset, and elongated the TFL-ITB significantly more than did ADIM training alone. Pain intensity was lower in the ADIM training plus TFL-ITB self-stretching group than the ADIM training alone group; however, the difference was not significant. Conclusion: ADIM training plus TFL-ITB self-stretching performed for a 2-week period at home may be an effective treatment for modifying lumbopelvic motion and reducing LBP.

디지털 방사선 의료영상획득과 적용 (Acquisition and application of digital medical image in radiology)

  • Many radiological modalities has been applied to medicine as a basic fundamental diagnosis and therapy recently. The prevalence of computer systems affect most images to be digitized. However conventional X-ray film images are not digital images eventhough they covers 70% of all radiologica images. This is the hinderacne of building PACS. In this paper all radiological digital imaging parts such as DSA. CR. MRI. SPECT. PET and ultrasonography were briefly introduced and the applications were described. In brief digital radiography contribute to enhance the medical service quality. And the digital substituition of conventional X-ray film image is inevitable.

Effects of Aquatic Exercise on Upper Extremity Function and Postural Control During Reaching in Children With Cerebral Palsy

  • Background: Despite the fact that aquatic exercise is one of the most popular alternative treatment methods for children with cerebral palsy (CP), there are few research regarding its effectiveness. Objects: The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of aquatic exercise on upper extremity function and postural control during reaching in children with CP. Methods: Ten participants (eight males and two females; 4-10 years; Gross Motor Function Classification System levels II-IV) with spastic diplegia were recruited to this study. The aquatic exercise program consisted of four modified movements that were selected from the Halliwick 10-point program to enhance upper extremity and trunk movements. The participants attended treatment two times a week for 6 weeks, averaging 35 minutes each session. The Box and Block Test (BBT), transferring pennies in the Bruininks-Oseretsky Test (BOT), and pediatric reaching test (PRT) scores were used as clinical measures. Three-dimensional motion analysis system was used to collect and analyze kinematic data. Differences in BBT and BOT values among pre-treatment, post-treatment, and retention (after 3 weeks) were analyzed using a Friedman test. In addition, the PRT scores and variables (movement time, hand velocity, straightness ratio, and number of movement units) from the three-dimensional motion analysis were tested using a Wilcoxon signed-rank test. The significance level was established at p < 0.05. When the results appeared to be statistically significant, a post-hoc test for multiple comparisons was performed with the Wilcoxon signed-rank test. Results: All clinical measures, which included BBT, transferring pennies of BOT, and PRT, were significantly increased between pre-intervention and post-intervention scores and between pre-intervention and retention scores after treatment (p = 0.001). Three-dimensional motion analysis mostly were significantly improved after treatment (p = 0.001). Conclusion: Aquatic exercise may help to improve body function, activity, and participation in children with varying types of physical disabilities.

노인 여가 가치관 평가도구 문항 도출: 델파이 조사를 바탕으로 (Deriving Questions on the Evaluation Tools of Leisure Values for Senior Citizens: Based on the Delphi Survey)

  • 목적 : 본 연구의 목적은 '노인 여가 가치관 평가도구'의 문항 도출을 위하여 노인 작업치료 경험이 있는 작업치료사 및 노인 작업치료에 대한 전문적 견해를 가진 자를 대상으로 델파이 조사를 시행하는 것이다. 연구방법 : 본 연구는 노인 여가 가치관 평가도구의 문항 도출을 위하여 총 두 단계로 시행되었으며 첫 번째 단계는 예비문항 수집, 두 번째 단계는 델파이 조사가 시행되었다. 예비문항 수집 단계에서는 문헌 고찰과 2019 국민여가활동 조사 분석이 시행되었다. 델파이 조사의 수정 델파이 기법으로 총 2차에 걸쳐 시행되었다. 결과 : 예비문항 수집 단계에서 선별된 여가 가치관 평가문항은 39개, 참여 여가활동 목록은 45개였다. 이후 전문가 집단 25명을 대상으로 델파이 조사를 실시한 결과 여가 가치관 평가문항 38개와 참여여가활동 목록 45개를 도출하였다. 결론 : 본 연구에서 도출된 문항은 노인이 여가활동에 참여할 때 중요하게 생각하는 다양한 가치를 파악할 수 있고 구체적으로 참여하는 여가활동을 파악할 수 있다는 점에 그 의의가 있다.

개인 맞춤화 회상치료법 디지털 서비스 디자인 제안 -경도 치매환자를 중심으로- (Personalized reminiscence therapy digital service design proposal -Focusing on patients with mild dementia-)

  • 본 연구는 경도 치매환자가 AI 음성 기술을 활용한 개인 맞춤화된 회상 치료 디지털 서비스를 이용할 때 나타나는 유의미한 효과와 실효성을 파악하는 데 연구 목적을 두었다. 이해관계자 인터뷰 결과를 해석하는 과정에서, 음성 AI 기술을 이용한 '개인 맞춤화'라는 디자인 아이디어를 도출했으며, 프로토타입을 만들어 1, 2차에 걸쳐 사용성 테스트를 했다. 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 회상 치료 자체가 개인 경험에 영향을 많이 받으며, 맞춤화된 치료프로그램을 통해 치료 상태와 결과에 따른 맞춤 돌봄 가이드를 받을 수 있기 때문에, '개인 맞춤화'라는 컨셉이 기존 치료 방법보다 치료의 질을 높일 수 있음을 알 수 있었다. 그러나 경도 치매환자가 지닌 깜빡 잊는 인지적 특징으로 인해 발생할 수 있는 이슈들이 관찰되어, 오류를 예방하고 사용성을 높일 수 있는 마이크로인터랙션을 연구한다면 서비스의 사용성을 더욱 높일 것으로 기대한다.

목 폄근 진동 자극이 뇌졸중 환자의 편측무시와 균형에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of Neck Extensor Vibration Stimulation on Neglect and Balance of Stroke Patients)

  • 본 연구는 목 폄근 진동자극이 뇌졸중 환자의 편측무시와 균형에 미치는 효과를 알아보고자 실시하였다. 대상자 선정 기준에 맞는 뇌졸중 환자를 대상으로 전통적인 작업치료와 목 폄근 진동자극을 중재한 실험군 10명, 전통적인 작업치료와 편측무시 치료를 중재한 대조군 10명으로 나누어 30분씩, 주 5회, 총 8주에 걸쳐 중재를 실시하였다. 연구결과 실험군이 대조군에 비하여 편측무시와 균형이 유의한 차이를 보였다(p<.05). 본 결과를 통하여 목 폄근 진동자극은 뇌졸중 환자의 편측무시와 균형에 효과적임을 확인할 수 있었으며, 재활치료에서 유용하게 적용되리라 사료된다.

자외선 조사로 유발된 피부 염증성 반응에 맥동성 초음파가 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Pulsed Ultrasound on Skin Inflammatory Reaction Induced by Ultraviolet Irradiation)

  • Purpose: This study aims to examine the effects of pulsed ultrasound on skin inflammatory reaction induced by ultraviolet irradiation. Methods: Twenty subjects were selected for this study. Inflammatory reaction was induced by ultraviolet irradiation in two areas of the lumbar region of the subjects. Pulsed ultrasound (3 MHz) was applied to one of the two areas of inflammatory reaction at a pulse ratio of 1:4, intensity of $0.5W/cm^2$, once a day for 5 min, and pulsed ultrasound was not applied to the other area. Wound color (chromatic red), luminance (gray) and wound contraction (area) were measured using digital imaging processing method. Results: There was a significant difference in wound color (chromatic red) in the interaction between time and area. There was a significant difference in luminance in the interaction between time and area. There was a significant difference in wound contraction between the two areas. Conclusion: These results indicate that pulsed ultrasound increased the wound contraction rate and reduced the inflammatory reaction activity such as erythema induced by ultraviolet irradiation.
