OTT(over-the-top) 비디오 서비스가 성장하면서 스마트TV가 동반 성장 중이다. 이 연구는 간접 네트워크 효과와 보완 이론을 적용하여 디지털 콘텐츠 이용과 스마트TV 이용 간의 관계를 탐색했다. 전국 대상 설문조사를 실시한 한국미디어패널데이터를 활용하여 디지털 콘텐츠 이용(OTT 이용여부/이용량/유형별 이용, 온라인 게임/음악/교육/뉴스 서비스 이용)이 스마트TV 이용에 미치는 영향을 분석했다. 연구결과 OTT 이용자일수록, OTT 이용시간이 많을수록 스마트TV를 이용했으며, 유료OTT단독가입, 유료OTT복수가입, 무료OTT 이용자들이 OTT 비이용자 대비 스마트TV를 이용했다. 온라인 서비스 중에서 교육서비스 이용은 스마트TV 이용과 정(+)의 관계가, 뉴스 이용은 부(-)의 관계가 있었다. 이 연구결과로 디지털 콘텐츠의 다양성과 이용증대가 스마트TV의 수요를 증대시킨다는 간접 네트워크 효과 이론이 지지되었으며, OTT 이용자가 대형 TV화면을 이용하면서 OTT와 스마트TV간 보완관계가 형성된다는 보완이론이 지지되었다.

본 연구에서는 항공사진과 지형공간정보체계를 이용하여 수치영상지도를 제작하기 위한 효율적 방안을 고찰하고, 저가의 개인용 컴퓨터시스템을 기본으로 하는 지형공간정보체계를 이용하여 수치항공사진 영상과 수치지형도를 중첩함으로써, 지형판독성과 활용성이 높은 수치영상지도를 제작하는 실험적 방안을 연구한다. 이를 위하여 지상좌표의 결정, 수치영상처리, 수치표고모형의 생성에 대하여 고찰한 다음, 수치영상지도제작에 필요한 영상자료 입출력, 수치편위미분수정, 항공사진을 이용한 정사투영상의 생성에 관련된 방법을 고찰하고, 수치영상지도를 실험제작하여 그 활용방안을 제시하였다.

When information professionals deal with other disciplines in the course of digital humanities projects, they often assume that they are dealing with 'needful users' who have an 'information gap' to fill. This paper argues that the traditional view that information/knowledge is transferred from an information specialist donor to a domain specialist receiver is no longer appropriate in the digital humanities context, where the gap-and-search (or gap-and-filler) approach to information has given way to more direct, explorative engagement with information. The paper asks whether information science and the practising profession are ready for this paradigm shift and examines information science conservatism in two common collaboration scenarios, library support and digital development. It is shown that information science theory still assumes a traditional donor role in both scenarios. How information scientists deal with conservatism in practice is discussed in the example of the Prior project, in which the information science team exerted an ambiguous, hybrid approach with both conservative and non-conservative elements. Finally, two rather hypothetical answers are offered to the question of how information professionals should approach scholarly collaboration in the digital humanities context, where users have ceased to be supplicants. From a purely pragmatic perspective, information scientists need to shift their focus from information needs to research practices and the implications of these practices for digital information systems. More fundamentally, the emergence of digital humanities challenges information professionals to transform information systems designed for searching into digital objects that can be explored more freely by the digital humanities community.

Nowadays there are practically no mathematical courses in which Computer Algebra Systems (CAS) programs, such as MATHEMATlCA, Maple, and TI-89/92, are not used to some extent. However, generally the usage of these programs is reduced to illustration of computing processes: calculation of integrals, differentiation, solution of various equations, etc. This is obtained by usage of standard command of type: Solve [...] in MATHEMATICA. At the same time the main difficulties arise at teaching nonconventional mathematical courses such as coding theory, discrete mathematics, cryptography, Scientific computing, which are gaining the increasing popularity now. Now it is impossible to imagine a modern engineer not having basic knowledge in discrete mathematics, Cryptography, coding theory. Digital processing of signals (digital sound, digital TV) has been introduced in our lives.

The purpose of this study is to propose a topological design principles and to analyze the space of digital architecture applying topological invariant expressive characteristics. As this study is based on topology as a science of true world's pattern, we intented to explain the concepts and provide some methods of low-level and hyperspace topological invariant Properties. Four major aspects are discussed. Those are connection theory, boundary concept, homotopy group, knot Pattern theory as topological invariant properties. Then we intented to make understand topological characteristics of the Algorithms, luring machine, cellular automata, string theory, membrane, DNA and supramolecular chemistry. In fine, the topological invariant properties of the digital architecture as genetic algorithms based on self-organization and heterogeneous networks of interacting actors can be analyzed and used as a critical tool. Therefore topology can be provided endless possibilities for architecture, designers and scientists intended in expressing the more complex and organic patterns of nature as life.

In this paper, I applied grounded theory in exploring how Twitter became the battlefield for China's public diplomacy campaign. China's new move to global social media platforms, such as Twitter and Facebook, has been a controversial strategy in public diplomacy. This study analyzes Chinese Foreign Spokesperson Zhao Lijian's Twitter posts and comments. It models China's recent diplomatic move to Twitter as a "war of words" model, with features including "leadership," "polarization," and "aggression," while exerting possible effects as "resistance," "hatred," and "sarcasm" to the global community. Our findings show that by failing to gage public opinion and promote the country's positive image, China's current digital diplomacy strategy reflected by Zhao Lijian's tweets has instead constructed a polarized political public sphere, contradictory to the country's promoted "shared human destiny." The "war of words" model extends our understanding of China's new digital diplomacy move as a hybrid of state propaganda and self-performance. Such a strategy could spread hate speech and accelerate political polarization in cyberspace, despite improvements to China's homogenous network building on Twitter.

코로나19 팬더믹 사태로 인해 교육 및 학습 활동이 온라인으로 이동할 수밖에 없게 되면서, 교육 및 학습에 정보통신기술을 사용하는 것은 더이상 선택이 아닌 필수 요소가 되었으며, 에듀테크(Edutech) 스타트업에 대해 벤처캐피탈은 역대 최대 투자액을 투자하고 있다. 이러한 상황에서 본 연구는 디지털 시대에 필수능력인 된 디지털 리터러시와 함께 통합기술수용이론(UTAUT: Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology)을 같이 고려하여, 학습에서 디지털기술을 사용하려는 의도에 영향을 미치는 요인들에 대해 연구하였다. 또한 디지털 리터러시에 많은 영향을 끼친다고 알려져 있는 요소인 연령에 따라 달라지는 요인들의 영향력 차이를 분석하였다. 구조 방정식 모형 분석 결과, 성과기대, 노력기대, 사회적 영향이 학습에서 디지털기술을 사용하려는 의도에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 디지털 리터러시는 성과기대, 노력기대, 사회적 영향에 긍정적인 영향을 끼치는 것으로 드러났으나 학습에서 디지털기술을 사용하려는 의도에 직접적으로 끼치는 영향은 유의하지 않게 나타났다. 그리고 연령의 조절효과를 보기 위해 실시한 다중집단분석 결과, 사회적 영향이 학습에서 디지털기술을 사용하고자 하는 의도에 미치는 경로에 대해 10대와 60대, 20대와 60대, 30대와 60대간의 차이가 유의하게 줄어드는 것을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구는 이론적 측면에서 디지털 리터러시와 통합기술수용이론을 함께 고려하여 학습이라는 특정상황에서 디지털기술을 사용하고자 하는 의도에 미치는 요인에 대한 연구의 외연을 확대하는데 기여했으며, 실무적 측면에서 학습 참여자들이 보다 적극적으로 디지털기술을 사용하게 만들 때에 연령별로 주요하게 고려해야할 요인에 대한 지침으로 활용할 수 있을 것이다.

A conventional digital receiver sampled a baseband signal and processed it digitally for demodulation. But now we can sample at sufficiently high speed a wideband signal to take enough discrete data values due to the advent of economic high-speed ADC. With this technical background, a wideband frequency-division-multiplexed signal can be undersampled and channelized in digital domain by DFT analysis filter using the theory of polyphase. In this paper, we propose a new digital receiver which can digitally process the multichannel received signal by sampling at IF band, develop a mathematical theory and algorithm, and analyze the performance by using C-language simulaation. The proposed receiver can demodulate analog and digital FM signals.

2019년 말부터 지속된 언택트 시대의 장기화는 문화콘텐츠를 디지털 형태로 제공하는 유통 플랫폼들의 확산을 더욱 가속화시켰다. 디지털 콘텐츠 유통 플랫폼들은 문화콘텐츠 기획, 생산, 유통의 중심축으로서 시장에서 치열하게 경쟁하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 디지털 콘텐츠 유통 플랫폼들의 경쟁 요소로서 개방형 혁신 이론을 적용하여 콘텐츠의 다중언어화 관점에서 경쟁력을 확보할 수 있는지 가늠한다.
