Rationalization Process for Digital Design and Fabrication -Based on the Case of Fabricating Interior Panels- (디지털 디자인 및 패브리케이션 프로세스의 합리화 과정에 관한 연구 - 인테리어 패널 디자인 및 제작 사례를 기반으로 -)

  • Although the use of CAD and CAM technologies has been broadly adopted by architecture-engineering- construction-facility management (AEC/FM) industry as the means of producing complex forms, there are still remained issues such as reducing cost, and enhancing quality and manufacturability. In this paper, to resolve given issues, we suggest a process of rationalization in digital architecture design and fabrication as an integrated approach. The rationalization, which is usually used as the term related with the skin panel of free-form architecture, is a process of re-designing a digital model to meet the requirements of manufacturing considering the gap with an original designs. Thus we classified this process and conducted a case study of fabricated models as an exploratory study. As the result, we found that each phase is connected with other phases with the circulation of information and rationalization process can be determined as the circulative process which re-designs digital model by minimally deviating from the original design based on the information deducted from analysis of inter-compatability of software and requirement of hardware.

  • It is being emphasized that management of core process is another crutial factor in the development of a product, besides of management of quality factors for the product itself. The study purposes to introduce process quality concept to digital contents market, and also aimes at meauring of process maturity, based on level 2 and 3 of Capability Maturity Model, for domestic companies especially devoted to digital contents area. The result shows that the maturity level of most of companies surveyed is very low and that mobile and game fields are slightly more matured than animation field. The paper also proposes some of future efforts to be made fur improving maturity level of digital contents companies.

Policy Analysis on AI SW Human Resources Development Using Cognitive Map Analysis (인지지도분석을 활용한 AI SW 인력양성 정책분석)

  • For the government of president Moon's AI SW HRD policy, he proclaimed AI democracy that anyone can utilize artificial intelligence technology to spread AI education for the people of the country. Through cognitive map analysis, this study presents expected policy outcomes due to the input of policy factors to overcome crisis factors and utilize opportunity factors. According to the cognitive guidance analysis, first, the opportunity factor is recognized as accelerating the digital transformation to Covid 19 if AI SW HRD is well nurtured. Second, the crisis factor refers to the rapid paradigm shift caused by the intelligence information society, resulting in job losses in the manufacturing sector and deepening imbalance in manpower supply and demand, especially in the artificial intelligence sector. Third, the comprehensive cognitive map shows a circular process for creating an AI SW ecosystem in response to threats caused by untact caused by Corona and a circular process for securing AI talent in response to threats caused by deepening imbalance in manpower supply and demand in the AI sector. Fourth, in order to accelerate the digital circulation that has been accelerated by Corona, we found a circular process to succeed in the Korean version of digital new deal by strengthening national and corporate competitiveness through AI-utilized capacity and industrial and regional AI education. Finally, the AI utilization empowerment strengthening rotation process is the most dominant of the four mechanisms, and we also found a relatively controllable feedback loop to obtain policy outputs.

  • As investigations dealing with digital evidence increase, so to does the need for skilled first responders and improved investigation process models. Recently the concept of digital forensic triage and preliminary analysis has been gaining popularity in investigation laboratories. At the same time, however, there has been little focus on specific training needs of first response and preliminary analysts. Instead, many organizations consider these responders to need the same skills as full digital forensic analysts. In this work we describe the 'ideal' digital investigation first responder and preliminary analyst, hardware and software requirements and most importantly, required training.

  • This paper presents research result of digital marketing model for improving enterprise marketing campaign performance. Recently, the enterprises which had completed projects such as ERP, CRM, and SCM for business value chain process transformation are working to improve enterprise marketing process. It is the trend for enterprises to use digital marketing tactics to overcome the limit of existing traditional marketing tactics. Especially, enterprises try to adopt digital marketing for marketing campaign performance. In this paper, digital marketing research model and hypothesis were established and statistically analyzed by marketing expert survey research. The research finding is that Web Analytics, Social Analytics, Personalized CRM, Campaign execution automation, Real-Time campaign management can be core influencers for marketing campaign performance improvement.

  • Purpose The purpose of this study is to identify the role of digital shadow work(DSW) in the psychological mechanism that controls using and purchasing digital device accessories. More specifically, it is to reveal how the digital device user's perception of DSW is formed and how the formed DSW affects purchase and what results it will bring. Design/methodology/approach Ground theory method(GTM), one of qualitative appoaches, is adopted as research methodology. By interviewing total twenty five users, the data are analyzed by open coding amd axis coding. Two core codes are selected by selective coding and interpreted by DSW theory. Findings We find concern for potential DSW and generation of new DSW. Concern for potential DSW lead to the purchase of accessorie which would be supposed to reduce potential DSW. During purchasing accessories, quest type DSW, which provices flow experience and expertise, could be genterated. This means that there would be dynamics of DSW in the purchase process of digital device accessories.

  • This is an introduction to an art of digital hardware design using polymachine image as a target structure of the product. As in the case of software design of a computer, the design process begins with a sketch of planned system in flow chart description and the flow charts is partitioned into divergent elements. Each of the element machine is derived from those divergent elements. We can build a complete digital system with the preparation of an index, and a polymer of these element machines.

  • The analog or partly digital typed interface of main control room in nuclear power plant (NPP) is gradually being replaced to the totally digitalized interface suitable for the digital environment. SKN 3,4 Nuclear Power Plant is currently developed in such a way to employ advanced displays and controls such as computerized procedure system(CPS), large display panel(LDP), and Soft control. According to the developed design process, the main control room (MCR) of the SKN3,4 was aesthetically designed based on a design concept of the health and sustainability and technically evaluated with human factors guidelines, which somehow lack of the confidence on the evaluation for the rapidly changing digital environment. The suitable review guideline for the digitalized interface and the environment was developed such as the guideline for CPS with information displays on VDU. For the guideline development, tremendous guidelines and technical papers related to evaluation issues of digital environment has been collected, analyzed and transformed to electric database forms and then built on database management system, called Design Review Supporting System to retrieve the appropriate issues for the practical usage of evaluators-in-field.

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest guidelines for legal deposit process on online digital materials and use of the deposited materials both in National Digital Libraries and other places. At present, two Acts -- 'Act on Legal Deposit Process and Use of Online Digital Materials, ' 'Act on Partially Revised Library Law' -- are still pending in National Assembly. For the establishment of the guidelines in this study, advanced countries' legal deposit Acts in this area are searched and investigated. Also, in order to present various opinions from many parties immediately interested in the guidelines and Acts, survey, visitation, and consultancy methods are used.

  • Currently information related service such as internet banking, chatting, social network services are quite well smeared into our daily life. Moreover, a rapid growth of service using smart devices brought an importance of security in internet services and a research activation of digital forensic in a crime investigation. This paper presented a previous digital forensic research trend and based on this, suggested a technology-strategy integrated digital forensic process platform, taking a mid-long term government leading ICT R&D strategy and ICT paradigm shift into account.
