최근 디지털 홈 주택전시관에서 나타난 홈 네트워크 제공서비스와 환경적 컨텍스 (Home Network Service and Environmental Context shown in Recent Digital Home Exhibition Houses)

  • New paradigm of the 21st is 'Ubiquitous'. And great changes arises from the digital environment and technology. Also, our living environments are changing very rapidly. Because of rapid developments, we didn't have enough time to examine our current situation. So we had to look around the current living spaces. The main purpose of this research was to know about the home network service and environmental context in our living spaces and to explore the outlook in the forseeable future. To search them, four recent digital home exhibition houses were examined. The findings showed that many kinds of common network systems were suggested and were acted in limited spaces. And when we examined the environmental context, we found most of the instruments were installed fixed ones or integrated information appliances. Therefore, the plan of digital home needs to consider environmental context and the combination of residents and living spaces.

지속가능한 패션산업을 위한 업사이클링 텍스타일디자인 개발과 디지털 3D 활용 연구 (A Study on the Development of Upcycling Textile Design and Digital 3D Utilization for the Sustainable Fashion Industry)

  • Recently, interest in eco-friendliness and sustainability has been increasing due to the rapid progress of fast fashion and the crisis of sudden environmental changes after COVID-19. This study aims to develop upcycling textiles and express product design using digital 3D to realize a sustainable fashion industry and present environmental aspects, diversity, creativity, and new directions in fashion industry design. The research method is to develop and pattern upcycling textile designs by applying weaving techniques with waste materials. It uses the developed upcycling textile design in digital 3D to incorporate it into clothing fashion and shows the utility and practicality of upcycling textile design. As a result of the study, the appearance is realistic when outputting DTP of upcycling textile design. It endures without loosening or tearing, making it a durable and creatively expressive fashion item. Texpro 3D mapping reduces the time and cost of making actual sample fabric. Upcycling textile design and 3D CLO virtual clothing are combined to produce actual clothing samples, resulting in zero waste reduction due to cutting and sewing. This study anticipates actively and continuously advancing the development of upcycling textile design and digital 3D in terms of ethics and the environment.

디지털환경 매체로서 패션에 나타난 사이버네틱스의 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study of the Characteristics of Cybernetics Exhibited in Fashion as a Media of Digital Environment)

  • The goal of this research, contorted from the perspective of media aesthetics, is to uncover the ways how mechanical/cybersensual fashion products express aesthetic characteristics of cybernetics, by comparing them with digital products designed by an application of cybernetics. The other goal is to provide a cultural and design framework of cybernetics as d digital-environmental medium for fashion in which hightech and human sensibilities are fused. The results urged to explore two new contrasting perceptual possibilities for an understanding of digital technology application: negative and positive feedbacks. Cybernetic optimism, centered on technological dimensions, focuses on a concept of fashion that emphasize instrumental aspects-efficiency and convenience. In contrast, cybernetic pessimism focuses on digital fashion that expresses environmental destruction and the loss of human identity. A comparative analysis of the aesthetics of expression in digital fashion design and digital industrial products from a cybernetic perspective showed that in digital environment society, the combination of negative and positive feedbacks resulted in design products in which internal and external aspects of beauty complemented each other.

  • From designers' viewpoint, today, the major environmental change can be found in the digital environment. Especially, more than the development of physical product which can be characterized as the backup of old function and realization of new function in the field of product design, as the digital product development of program style that exists without substance is deepened, the development of the digital design media has been accelerating. However, it is the recent matter that the link with educational system about the added value which could be embodied by digitech, and the interdisciplinary research about producing goods become regular. The construction of the industrial design development process based on the digital environment must be the major research object. Therefore, the goal of my research is to present the concept of the product design process model required in the digital environment.

  • 최근 디지털 기술의 급속한 발전은 정치, 경제, 사회, 문화 등 우리 사회의 거의 모든 분야에 엄청난 영향을 미치고 있다. 우리가 살고 있는 도시가로는 역시 예외는 아니다. 디지털 기술의 발달은 도시가로의 물리적 구조와 성장 패턴, 그리고 그동안 도시가로가 수행해 왔던 기능과 역할을 새롭게 변모시키고 있다. 지금의 도시가로는 그동안의 합리적이고 효율적이라는 목적아래 추구되어 온 똑같은 모습의 기능주의 적인 형태에서 벗어나야 할 때이다. 디지털 기술을 도시가로에 공간적으로 담아내고, 동시에 그 문화의 생성과 지속을 위해, 현재 우리가 살아가고 있는 도시공간의 구체적 맥락 속에서 독특하게 형성되고 있는 디지털 생활양식, 즉 디지털 도시가로문화에 대한 성찰이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 도시가로에서의 가로의 기능을 -최근 디지털기술의 발전이 새로운 형태의 교류의 장을 열게 되는데 따른-인간을 위한 소통의 중심지로 보고자 한다. 또한 디지털 기술로 인해 앞으로의 도시가로의 물리적 환경은 어떠한 형태와 기능으로 진화해 나갈 것인가에 관심의 초점을 두고, 아울러 이러한 도시의 진화를 선도해야 하는 도시계획 및 환경디자인 분야가 디지털 기술을 어떻게 수용해야 하고, 앞으로 어떠한 역할을 담당해야 할 것인가를 살펴보고자 하였다.

환경 정보 시스템 설계 및 구현 (A Design and Implementation of Environmental Information System)

  • In this paper, a study on a method for designing and implementing an environmental information system to support environmental activities was done. First of all, research on the similar information system and necessary functions were derived. Necessary functions were largely classified into functions for cooperation such as policy consultation and publicity, and functions for environmental information data. Collaboration functions are classified in detail, and detailed contents of this function are summarized. In addition, a data model was designed for various environmental information, and an information server and client interface are designed as a cloud application. Cloud server configuration and design, and client web and app programs to access these information were implemented and tested each functions successfully.

  • The kinetic façade system is an interactive building envelope which is adaptive to environmental condition by transforming the behaviour of its components. The design process of kinetic façade system calls for a novel approach. It needs to support designers to adopt technologies from multidisciplinary fields such as physical computing and robotics. In this paper, prototyping method is introduced as a useful technique for implementing kinetic façade systems. In order to incorporate prototyping method into architectural design process, two aspects are investigated in digital design studio: (1) The interactions between digital and analogue environments (2) The role of traditional design tools. Furthermore, the role of BIM is investigated by analyzing two aspects.

PLS 회귀분석을 통한 서울디지털산업단지 이용자 만족도 영향요인 규명 (Presumed Influence Factors of User Satisfaction of Seoul Digital Industrial Complex using PLS-Regression Model)

  • 국내의 산업단지는 노후화와 환경문제 등으로 인하여 점점 더 경쟁력을 상실하고 있는 실정이다. 첨단산업단지로의 재편을 위해 공공 및 환경디자인의 질적 향상과 경쟁력 강화를 위한 방향성 정립이 시의적으로 필요하다. 본 연구는 서울디지털산업단지의 이용자 만족도에 영향을 미치는 계획요인을 PLS 회귀모형을 통해 규명하고자 하였다. 분석결과, 총 32개의 계획요인 중 중요도(VIP)값이 1.0 이상으로 매우 의미 있는 디자인 계획요인이 12개로 나타났으며, 0.9~1.0 사이의 비교적 중요한 계획요인이 8개로 도출되었다. 이들 계획요인은 디자인개선사업 시행 시 정량적 우선순위를 가늠할 수 있는 전략적 디자인 계획요인으로 판단할 수 있으며, 서울디지털산업단지의 경쟁력 강화에도 도움이 될 것으로 사료된다.

유니버셜 디자인 측면에서 공공 공간의 환경평가와 개선방안 -안산시 공공기관을 중심으로- (A Study on UD Environmental Assessment and Countermeasures for Public Space -Focused on Public Space of Ansan City-)

  • Recently, the public offices are going to be an important role of CIP(City Identity Program) and be a center of citizen's community activities. So, the aspect of the universal design (UD), the space performance assessment for a disable user is invaluable to designing the public office spaces. Purpose of this paper is to provide basic data for better design of public office space based on UD(universal design) principle. Conclusion based on the finding are as follows; First, checklist of environmental assessment for public space was composed of 7 basic principles of UD and 3 additional principles(aesthetic appreciation, maintenance and eco-design). Second, as the result of assessment, accessible and inclusive design is more necessary. Third, local characteristics should be developed and managed deliberately as to public space design. As the result of that, public office space design should an important part of reducing the isolation that was caused by physical and social disability. From now on, in public office space design, the integrated and continuous design program that is based on UD principle and eco-design will be necessary.

환경디자인에 적용될 가상현실(VR) 시스템의 구축 방법에 대한 연구 (A Study on Building a Virtual Reality System with Environmental Design)

  • 현대사회는 정보화 사회로 모든 사람들이 빠르고 정확한 정보를 필요로 하고 있으며 이러한 정보를 신속히 받아들여 생활에 활용하기를 원한다. 또한 현실의 한정된 공간과 시간에 구애받지 않고 보다 자유로이 상상의 세계를 현실과 같이 경험하고자 한다. 디자인은 '무'에서 '유'를 만들어내는 창조적인 행위로써 '가상'(Virtual)적인 의미를 내포하고 있다. 따라서 디자인은 상상 속에 존재하는 형태나 이미지를 실제로 재현하기 위한 '가상의 현실화'(Reality of Virtuality)작업이라 말할 수 있다. 디자인 분야는 과거로부터 현재까지 컴퓨터 응용 방법들이 많이 활용되었다. 컴퓨터의 발전과 함께 디자인 과정 또한 시간적으로나 방법적으로 간편화되었고 또한 효율적으로 발전하였는데 이러한 의미에서 컴퓨터는 디자인에 지대한 영향을 미치는 하드웨어임에는 틀림이 없다. 이번 연구는 환경디자인(Environmental Design)에 적용되고 있는 컴퓨터 활용 방법에 대해 알아보고 단순한 활용에서 적극적이고 체계적인 방법으로의 모색을 통해 현실감(Presence)을 극대화하여 이를 설계에 적극적으로 도입하는 방안에 대하여 연구하고자 한다. 현재 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있는 가상현실 시스템(Virtual Reality System)을 환경디자인(Environmental Design)분야에 폭 넓게 활용하여 수준 높은 설계를 제공하고 모의실험을 통한 현실감의 극대화를 도출하고자 하며 앞으로 가상현실 시스템(Virtual Reality System)과 같은 다양한 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션 기법들이 환경디자인에 적극적으로 도입될 전망이다.
