  • This study analyzes life experiences and prospects of poverty/welfare exit of the poor with work ability utilizing Mixed methodology. Based on Sequential Exploratory Design, it qualitatively analyzes 3 waves of qualitative panel data linked to Korea Welfare Panel Study(KWPS) and presents life changes of 14 poor in the context of their prospects of welfare/poverty exit. Then it proposes hypotheses on the role of education, household economy expectation, self-esteem in the prospects of poverty/welfare exit following the sequential exploratory design to quantitatively test qualitative findings utilizing KWPS(7th). The outcomes of the Structural Equation Model(SEM) suggest that household economy expectation plays mediating role between education and the prospects of welfare/poverty exit. This implies that anti-poverty policy needs to consider a psychological approach to enhance household economy expectations of the poor as well as other material support.

Data were obtained from the 2013-2017 statistical yearbook of higher education published by the Ministry of Education of China, and efficiency was analyzed using the malmquist analysis method. The analysis found that the low technological progress caused changes in the productivity MPI index, and that cities affected by technological efficiency needed to improve internal factors such as internal coordination and restructuring of universities in the region to increase efficiency. And it was found that areas affected by technological change needed proper response to external factors such as government policy, economic environment, social environment or technological development. This study is meaningful in that it presented reference data in enhancing efficiency of budget utilization of science and technology by autonomy of China, and it is necessary to establish strategies and study essential factors to increase efficiency of inefficient areas in the future.

  • This paper aims to identify trends of domestic industry-academic cooperation through comparative analysis of domestic and overseas academic articles published over the past 10 years (2011-2021). To this end, keyword network analysis and topic modeling analysis were performed to identify the characteristics of the entire articles collected. As results, it turned out that domestic articles included school, employment, education, patent, and professor as a major keyword while for overseas articles, project, policy, innovation, and company were the main topics, and related keywords were found to be influential. These results suggest that domestic industry-academic cooperation would have been designed and led by universities focusing on education for employment, and need to be carried out more actively in the areas of 'research' and 'technology transfer with the government's related policies and support on establishing two-way relationships that can benefit both schools and participating companies.
