머신러닝 기반의 디지털 방송 프로그램 유형 분류 및 활용 방안 연구 (A Study of the Classification and Application of Digital Broadcast Program Type based on Machine Learning)

  • With the recent spread of digital content, more people have been watching the digital content of TV programs on their PCs or mobile devices, rather than on TVs. With the change in such media use pattern, genres(types) of broadcast programs change in the flow of the times and viewers' trends. The programs that were broadcast on TVs have been released in digital content, and thereby people watching such content change their perception. For this reason, it is necessary to newly and differently classify genres(types) of broadcast programs on the basis of digital content, from the conventional classification of program genres(types) in broadcasting companies or relevant industries. Therefore, this study suggests a plan for newly classifying broadcast programs through using machine learning with the log data of people watching the programs in online media and for applying the new classification. This study is academically meaningful in the point that it analyzes and classifies program types on the basis of digital content. In addition, it is meaningful in the point that it makes use of the program classification algorithm developed in relevant industries, and especially suggests the strategy and plan for applying it.

Level-3 사장교 디지털 모델 생성을 위한 알고리즘 및 활용 (Algorithm of Level-3 Digital Model Generation for Cable-stayed Bridges and its Applications)

  • Digital models for a cable-stayed bridge are defined considering data-driven engineering from design to construction. Algorithms for digital object generation of each component of the cable-stayed bridge were developed. Using these algorithms, Level-3 BIM practices can be realized from design stages. Based on previous practices, digital object library can be accumulated. Basic digital models are modified according to given design conditions by a designer. Once design models are planned, various applications using the models are linked the models such as estimation, drawings and mechanical properties. Federated bridge models are delivered to construction stages. In construction stage, the models can be efficiently revised according to the changed situations during construction phases. In this paper, measured coordinates are imported to the model generation algorithms and revised models are obtained. Augmented reality devices and their applications are proposed. AR simulations in construction site and in office condition are tested. From this pilot test of digital models, it can be said that Level-3 BIM practices can be realized by using in-house modeling algorithms according to different purposes.

An Educational Program against Digital Drama using Artificial Intelligence

  • Cyberbullying and digital drama are on the rise among students. Therefore, this paper proposes an educational program that can enhance students' ability to use artificial intelligence(AI) technology and develop the power to respond to digital drama. In order to understand the effect of the proposed education program, this education was applied on a trial basis to 205 middle school students residing in South Korea. Moreover, the change of coping ability to the digital drama was observed before and after education. After applying for the educational program, the students' empathy(t=-5.506, p<0.001), peer conflict resolution(t=-3.842, p<0.01), and peer mediation(t=-4.213, p<0.001) improved, and did not significantly affect their anger control ability(t=-0.272, p>0.05). The educational program proposed in this paper uses AI to make it more attractive for students familiar with digital devices to participate in education and increase their educational concentration. This paper has its limitations as it is a study only for middle school students in South Korea. However, it is significant that the educational program proposed in this paper prevented the recently increased digital drama and led to a crucial change in coping ability.

클라우드 환경에서 IoT 정보 오류를 고려한 지형 정보 기반의 키 관리 기법 (A Key Management Technique Based on Topographic Information Considering IoT Information Errors in Cloud Environment)

  • 클라우드 환경에서는 센서 및 웨어러블 장치를 이용한 IoT 기기가 다양한 환경에서 응용되고 있으며 그에 따른 IoT 기기에서 생성되는 정보를 정확하게 판별하는 기술들이 활발하게 연구되고 있다. 그러나, 전력 및 보안과 같은 IoT 환경의 제약사항으로 인하여 IoT 장치에서 발생하는 정보가 매우 취약하기 때문에 금전 피해 및 인명 피해가 증가하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 IoT 정보를 정확하게 수집·분석하기 위해서 IoT 정보 오류를 고려한 지형 정보 기반의 키 관리기법을 제안한다. 제안 기법은 IoT 장치를 클라우드 환경에서 임의로 배치할 경우 IoT 장치의 연결성을 확보하기 위해서 IoT 배치 오류를 허용하는 동시에 지형 정보를 n개의 그룹으로 그룹핑 하도록 한다. 특히, 각 그룹핑 된 지형 정보에는 전체 키 풀에서 랜덤하게 선택된 임의의 키를 할당한 후 IoT 정보에 포함된 지형 정보의 키와 확률적으로 높은 키 값을 IoT 장치의 연결성으로 확보할 수 있도록 한다. 특히, 제안 기법은 확률적 딥러닝을 이용하여 IoT 지형 정보의 키를 시드로 추출하기 때문에 IoT 장치에 대한 정보 오류를 낮출수 있다.

21세기 디지털 패션에 나타난 인터랙션 - 발광형 디지털 패션디자인을 중심으로 - (The Interaction Expressed in 21st Century's Digital Fashion - Focused on the Luminescence digital fashion designs -)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the factors of action and reaction through the examples of luminescence digital fashion design, which is a part of the interactive digital paradigm in 21st century, and to classify types of interaction expressed in luminescence digital fashion design. The significance of this study is to provide an effective database for researches on new ideas and expression methods of fashion design using luminescence digital device. The contents are as follows. First, identifying the concepts of interaction, digital fashion, and luminescence digital device. Second, analyzing the factors that put the luminescence digital device into effect through materials such as the collected photos and the stimulus behind the materials. Third, analyzing and classifying types of reaction according to the types of stimulus in luminescence digital fashion design. Detailed use of luminescence digital devices in Fashion designs did not start until after 2000 so the scope of this study starts from 2000 and on. The methods of this study are as follows. The theoretical frameworks of digital fashion and interaction were setup by using information from various related books, papers, and internet sites. In addition, the empirical analysis was performed using collected photos and explanations through related Internet sites of digital fashion. Through the study, the interaction types in 21st century's luminescence digital fashion design can be expressed variously according to the current input type, biometric recognition type, environment recognition type.

소셜 실감 게임을 위한 이기종 스마트 플랫폼 브릿지 기술 (A Bridge Technique of Heterogeneous Smart Platform supporting Social Immersive Game)

  • Recently, the concept of mobile content service has changed from providing unilaterally contents for single-device to providing same contents for multi-device. This service should be able to provide diverse contents for multi-devices without platform and specification of multi-device. In this study, we propose a bridge technique of heterogeneous smart platform supporting social immersive game. It is possible to access social immersive game by using a multi-platform bridge. To achieve this, we explain techniques of device connection and data transmission between heterogeneous devices using server-client structure and UPnP. It provides an immersive game environment for multi-user, which is able to play in a public place using big screen.

  • The position control is very important in semiconductor manufacturing devices, precision machining tools, precision measuring instruments, etc. The accuracy of measurement for the distance in these devices affect on the performance of the whole devices. Therefore, in those precision instruments, a sensing device that can measure the distance of movement with high-precision resolution is required. In this paper, a novel hybrid (digital and analog) type encoder is proposed. It is shown that from several experiments, a high-resolution angular position measurement device can be designed with a low cost incremental encoder and a DSP controller.

  • The flexible solid state device has been widely studied as portable and wearable device applications such as display, sensor and curved circuits. A zero-bias operation without any external power consumption is a highly-demanding feature of semiconductor devices, including optical communication, environment monitoring and digital imaging applications. Moreover, the flexibility of device would give the degree of freedom of transparent electronics. Functional and transparent abrupt p/n junction device has been realized by combining of p-type NiO and n-type ZnO metal oxide semiconductors. The use of a plastic polyethylene terephthalate (PET) film substrate spontaneously allows the flexible feature of the devices. The functional design of p-NiO/n-ZnO metal oxide device provides a high rectifying ratio of 189 to ensure the quality junction quality. This all transparent metal oxide device can be operated without external power supply. The flexible p-NiO/n-ZnO device exhibit substantial photodetection performances of quick response time of $68{\mu}s$. We may suggest an efficient design scheme of flexible and functional metal oxide-based transparent electronics.

PAN에서 인증 및 인증서 상태 관리를 위한 효율적인 프로토콜 (Efficient Protocol for Authentication and Certificate Status Management in PAN)

  • 본 논문에서는 Personal Area Network (PAN)을 구성하는 모바일 디바이스에서의 전자서명 생성 및 검증을 위한 계산상 오버헤드를 감소시키는 효율적인 인증 프로토콜을 제안한다. 특히, 제안 프로토콜은 일회용 전자서명 기법을 사용함으로써 전통적인 공개키 전자서명 연산을 제거하였으며, 제한된 컴퓨팅 능력을 가진 모바일 디바이스를 위해 기 제안된 인증 프로토콜과 달리 서명 서버의 지원없이 전자서명 생성 및 검증을 수행할 수 있다. 또한, 제안 프로토콜은 PAN에서 모바일 디바이스들의 인증서 상태 관리를 위한 통신 및 계산상 오버헤드를 경감시키기 위해 해쉬체인에 기반한 간략화된 인증서 상태 검증 절차를 제공한다.

  • The remote handling and maintenance devices in the nuclear hot ceil should be checked prior to the hot operation in view of reliability and operability. In this study, the digital mock-up is implemented to analyze and define the process equipment maintenance processes instead of real mock-up, which is very expensive and time consuming. To do this, the parts of equipment and maintenance devices are modeled in 3-D graphics, assembled, and kinematics is assigned. Also, the virtual workcell of the spent fuel management process is implemented in the graphical environment which is the same as the real environment. This simulator has the several functions for verification such as analyses for the manipulator's working area, the collision detection, the path planning and graphic simulation of the processes etc. This graphic simulator of the maintenance devices can be effectively used in designing of the maintenance processes for the hot cell equipment and enhance the reliability of the spent fuel management.
