산업용 전기차량의 주행 모터용 보상된 Bang-Bang 전류제어기 개발 (The Development of Compensated Bang-Bang Current Controller for Travel Motor of Industry Electrical Vechicle)

  • In order to establish the design technique of the robust current controller in d.c series wound motor driver system, this paper proposes a method of the compensated Bang-Bang current control using d.c series wound motor driver system under the improperly variable load to get minimum time for the torque control. The compensated Bang-Bang current controller structure is simpler than that of PID plus Bang-Bang controller. This paper shows that a general 16 bits microprocessor is efficiently used to implement such an algorithm. The calculation time of software is extremely small when compared with that of conventional PID plus Bang-Bang controller. Both nonlinear operating characteristics of digital switching elements and describing function methods are used for the analysis and synthesis. Real-time implementation of the compensated Bang-Bang current controller is achieved. The concept of design strategy of the control and the PWM waveform generation algorithms are presented in this paper.

초고속 단상 BLDC 전동기의 고역률 전력 제어 방법 (High Power Factor Control of High-speed Single-phase BLDC Motor)

  • This paper presents a power control method of high-speed single-phase BLDC motor. Most electric appliances require a power factor corrector (PFC) to mitigate grid current harmonics. However, the reactive components and power semiconductors in the PFC increase system cost and dimension. In this paper, a new motor drive system for a high-speed single-phase BLDC motor is proposed, which can decrease grid current harmonics without PFC by directly manipulating motor power and eliminating bulky electrolytic dc-link capacitor. Given that the proposed motor power control method does not require motor current controller, no current sensor is necessary. Moreover, the proposed algorithms can be easily implemented using a low-cost micro-controller. The effectiveness of the proposed power control method is verified by experiments.

  • This paper deals with the parallel operation of several numbers of PWM converters for a high speed railway train application. Several considerations are made to reduce the transformer interaction which can cause a current control problem in severe case. Also, in this paper, novel control strategy is proposed to achieve a harmonic free primary-side current control under a light load condition using one current sensor independent of the number of converters. In addition, the modified predictive current controller, which is suitable to a digital current controller with a relatively large sampling period, is used. Finally, to verify the system validity, digital control system with TMS320C44 micro-processor and small scale simulator are made and tested.

  • In this study, We developed the microprocessor based controller for Auto Section Switch(ASS). This is installed at consumer's medium-high voltage(load capacity is below 4,000 kVA) switchgear. This function is cooperate with protection device of fault section and automatically dividing the section. And It is designed by Air putter type extinction structure and adopt the mechanism and breaking part module of existing Load Breaker Switch. In addition, We successfully conducted the operation test and checked main function of proto-type.

  • 본 논문에서는 Digital PFC Controller에 적합한 11비트 100KS/s의 Algorithmic ADC를 설계하였다. 설계한 Algorithmic ADC는 PFC controller에 적합한 11비트 해상도를 만족하면서 반복적인 순환구조의 동작으로 인해 전체 크기를 줄일 뿐 아니라 소비 전류를 최소화 할 수 있다. 본 논문의 Algorithmic ADC는 0.18um 1Poly-3Metal의 CMOS 공정으로 제작 되었으며 100KS/s의 동작 속도에 SNDR 66.7dB, ENOB 10.78비트의 성능을 가진다. 또한 소비전류는 5V 전원 전압에서 780uA이며 설계된 ADC의 칩 면적은 $0.27mm^2$이다.

  • This study aims to evaluate smartphone gaming controllers. Diffusion of smartphone makes its users to play smartphone games in ease and comfort and its built-in sensors deliver new gaming experience to the users. Based on the concept how the controller system is important, the current research also implies the importance of customizing service which gives users a selection to deploy a controller. To explore the interaction effect of controllers and customizing on interactivity, flow, usability, attitude, and intention, the research constructs 3(gyroscope, wheel, and button controllers) by 2(default and customizing setting) experimental design and forty college students played Gameloft's Asphalt 8: Airborne in a within subject design. The results showed that interaction effect and customizing main effect were not found, but controller main effect was statistically significant. Button controller is superior to those other two in more detail. It implies that it is still not useful to play new types of gaming controller, and a customizing service. It suggests that smartphone games should more focus on improving optimal user experience with built-in sensor controllers.

An Improved Stationary Frame-based Digital Current Control Scheme for a PM Synchronous Motor

  • An improved stationary frame-based digital current control technique for a permanent magnet (PM) synchronous motor is presented. Generally, the stationary frame current controller is known to provide the advantage of a simple implementation. However, there are some unavoidable limitations such as a steady-state error and a phase delay in the steady-state. On the other hand, in the synchronous frame current regulator, the regulated currents are dc quantities and a zero steady-state error can be obtained through the integral control. However, the need to transform the signals between the stationary and synchronous frames makes the implementation of a synchronous frame regulator complex. Although the PI controller in the stationary frame gives a steady-state error and a phase delay, the control performance can be greatly improved by employing the exact decoupling control inputs for the back EMF, resulting in an ideal steady-state control characteristics irrespective of an operating condition as in the synchronous PI decoupling controller. However, its steady-state response may be degraded due to the inexact cancellation inputs under the parameter variations. To improve the control performance in the stationary frame, the disturbance is estimated using the time delay control. The proposed scheme is implemented on a PM synchronous motor using DSP TMS320C31 and the effectiveness is verified through the comparative simulations and experiments.

  • 3상 PWM 컨버터의 디지털 전류제어기 디자인에 있어서 보편적인 방법은 이산화된 값을 사용한다. 그러나 이같은 시스템은 SVPWM의 특성과 시간연을 고려하지 않았기 때문에 에러를 갖는다. 본 논문은 이와 같은 문제점을 고려한 3상 PWM 컨버터의 새 좌표축 모델을 제시하였으며, 새 모델에 근거한 시지연 보상을 위한 별도의 알고리즘이 필요 없는 직접 디지털 전류제어기를 설계하였다. 또한 제안된 전류제어기를 위한 인덕턴스 불일치 문제를 간단한 알고리즘을 사용하여 보상하였다. 제안된 알고리즘의 타당성을 시뮬레이션과 실험을 통하여 입증하였다.

전자레인지용 LLC 공진형 인버터의 디지털 출력 제어 (Digital Power Control of LLC Resonant Inverter for Microwave Oven)

  • This paper proposes a digital power control of the LLC resonant half-bridge inverter for high power microwave oven application. Conventional half-bridge inverter for driving a microwave oven uses a hardware-based power control method which varies the frequency according to the AC source voltage. In this case, it is difficult to control the output power according to the variation of the load status of magnetron. The proposed power control consists of an instantaneous current generator and a current controller. Instantaneous current generator makes an instantaneous current reference from power command using input voltage information. Current controller controls input current which has an information of status of magnetron. The proposed power control does not require any compensation algorithm for the change of the load status of the magnetron and change of input voltage. The validity of the proposed method for the control of the change of input voltage and frequency is verified by both simulation and experiment.
